🎉🎉🎉 GIVEAWAY ALERT! 🎉🎉🎉
Tumblr media
People will immediately click a post if they see the word giveaway even if they are not a fan or they don't know who the giver is. This is fine but I hope we are not like this towards the Lord.
Some people worship Him because they only want to get comfort, protection, money, success, etc., and not because they want to surrender and know Him more.
Asking things from God is fine and He actually loves it when people ask or pray something from Him, but if your intention is just like this, you will not get the best thing He can give, which is eternal life.
Only Christians with pure intention can have that best gift. Christians who worship Him because of who He is and not because of what He can give.
So you, what is your intention of worshipping God? Is it because you want to know Him or is it just because of the giveaways?
Matthew 7:21, "Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven."

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” John 1:1. - I love my #kingjamesversion of #thebible as it has #bibleverses right there on the #frontcover. Some don’t like the #kingjamesbible because of its complicated writing style, but the challenge encourages the use of a #biblestudy guide to get the most out of it, rather than just skimming. - It also includes the #apocrypha, which is indeed interesting #readingmaterial. - - - #dailybible #dailyverses #bibles #bibleoftheday #kjvbible #nkjv #amen #praisejesus (at Manchester, United Kingdom) https://www.instagram.com/p/B_-KSsQnrkp/?igshid=1nd1gr44imeqt

Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked. 1 John 2:4-6 #jesuscause #scriptureoftheday #bibleverse #biblequote #instabible #bibledaily #dailybibleverse #bibleversedaily #godlovesyou #godlovesme #thankyoujesus #scripture #godsword #godswordistruth #bibleapp #bibleart #scriptures #newtestament #godfirst #jesusiscomingsoon #jesusiscomingback #trustgod #theendisnear #bible #bibleapp #biblejournal #bibleoftheday #bibleofinstagram https://www.instagram.com/p/CC9zDbulAyL/?igshid=1b67i6wyrkcnt

God said that life here on Earth contains problems and struggles but still, He provides us a sanctuary that we can come to if ever we feel like giving up. This sanctuary provides us hope and strength where we can anchor our faith but the problem is, our anchor clings onto something else.
Alcohol. The most common thing where people put their faith on. Whenever we encounter problems that seems like we can not endure, we always look for alcohol hoping it will shoo our problems away. The sad thing is, this is our first option and God is second.
When we realized that alcohol will never help us, that's when we go to God when things are almost late.
Always remember that the best port where you can anchor your faith is God. Worldly things can not help you, only God can.

Did you know that if not because of Jesus you are not using your phone right now? You are not supposed to be reading this. You are not supposed to be with your family and friends. You are not supposed to exist. But here you are, alive and breathing.
You can eat, you can drink, you can use TikTok, you can bond with your family, you can celebrate your birthday, you can shop online, you can play games, etc. If not because of Jesus, you can not do any of these.
About 2000 years ago, He gave up all the comfortable things in Heaven just to suffer here on Earth. To be hated, insulted, rejected, and betrayed just for you, so you can do what you can do right now.
Imagine. You are the one who is supposed to be whipped in the back, to walk 10 kilometers while carrying the heavy cross, to wear a sharp crown of thorns, and to be nailed on both palms and feet. Painful isn't it? But you did not experience this because Jesus carried it all.
Now, could you please close your eyes and give a simple thank you to Him?
And always remember that there is Someone that loved you very much to the point that He sacrificed His own comfortable life.
John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, as to give his only begotten Son; that whosoever believeth in him, may not perish, but may have life everlasting."

When I was in elementary days, I always try my best to fit in or else I'll be a loner and I did succeed to fit in however, every time I go home there something inside me that's lacking. I don't know what that is at that time.
When we moved to a new home I met my cousins whose house is just in front of ours. They always take me to their church every Sunday and that's when I discover the thing that's always lacking in me during my elementary days. It's myself.
I only discovered this when Jesus gave me my true identity. Back then, I always try to adjust to the environment around me to the point that I already lost myself.
It is not me that is attending the school, it is someone that I created in able to fit in.
When Jesus gave me the sense of belonging that I longed for a very long time, that's when the artificial me disappeared. I realize that even I don't belong to my peers or the people around me, I still belong to Him who accepts and gave me my true identity.
So, don't lose yourself. You belong to God.

There are people who only know God every Sunday. Going to church because of tradition and not by his/her desire to spend time with Him.
There are also people who know Him only when they have problems. When struggles are gone, so as their knowledge about God.
Then, there are people who only know Him when something good happened in their lives. They only say thanks when they received a large blessing. But, if it's small, even the word ty is not uttered.
Indeed, there are hypocrites inside Christianity but I just want to tell you that no matter how many times you go to church or give thanks to Him, if your intention is not pure, Heavens will not open its gate for you. So, take this as a warning.
Mark 7:6, "He replied, “Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you hypocrites; as it is written: “ ‘These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me."
Still, there are true Christians who remember and talk to Him every day. Not because of tradition, problems, nor blessings, but because He is a large part of their lives.
You, what letter are you in?
Psalm 145:1, "A Praise of David. I will extol You, my God, O King; And I will bless Your name forever and ever."

From 32 000 warriors, God commanded Gideon to reduce it to 300, all for the avoidance of Israelites to raise their pride against God.
If they win with 32 000 warriors, they'll think that they win because of their strength and say to God, "Look, Lord, we won because we are strong!" And they will develop their pride and think that they can win battles without the help of God. So, to prevent this, God reduced their warriors to 300 and let the Israelites rely on Him and still won.
This scene tells us that every victory we had, did not come from our own strength but from God. And in every battle that we will encounter, as long as we seek help from Him, He will provide.
So, may this remind you to always rely on God and to always humble yourself because you are not here if not for Him. It's not your own strength but Him.

God took Lot and his family from Sodom but Lot's wife looked back and became a pillar of sodium chloride.
Almost every one of us came from a place with the likes of Sodom but God fetches us one by one and puts us to the place where He is. But, there are times that we can not help ourselves but to look back.
We are sinners so it is common for us to do this but never run back.
The Sodom is like our Earth today. Lot and His family leaving that place is like the Rapture. And Lot's wife symbolizes the Christians who hesitated to leave the Earth because they are still afraid to leave their sins.
What sins? Ask yourself. What sin hinders you from fully committing to Christ? What sins are causing you to look back?
You may not overcome it overnight but I'm sure you will. See you above!
Genesis 19:26, "But Lot's wife looked back, and she became a pillar of salt."

SPREAD THE WORD. Don't be selfish. Don't just keep the blessings to yourself. God said we should always be generous, so we should share His word to others so that they may glorify Him.
Now, I have a mission for you. Spread the Gospel, spread His word!
But what if they didn't listen? What if they reject me? Well, that's completely fine. You did your mission with all your best, it's up to them if they will listen or refuse. But you must not hate them. Love them even if they reject you.
Remember, Jesus was rejected countless times yet He didn't put a single grudge against those people nor convince them to accept Him, because He knows His mission well. And that is to glorify His Father by spreading His words and not trying to be accepted by the world who rejected Him.
We may be in the world but we are not part of the world. We are a children of God and not children of the world.
And right at this very moment, your mission starts now!
