Be-You-Tiful

This thought has been in my head for a while and I feel like God is urging me to put it out into the cyberverse so someone must need to hear this. God is calling me to tie this into the world of content creation for some reason so I will mention that as well for people who are aiming for that line of work.

It is OKAY to not resonate with society’s current idea of what beauty and sexiness should look like.

If you don’t resonate with the bottle shaped bodies, dang near nude Instagram pictures, rap music, and the flashy lifestyle than that is OKAY.

You don’t have to follow the trends. If you love classy modest outfits, cream colors, natural looking makeup, if you love all-black, smoky makeup and suits, if you love pink, rhinestone everything and the early 2000s vibe then wear that proudly! Stay true to you. If you aren’t letting your true self shine because it’s not what the other Instagram models or tiktokers or whatever are doing, I need you to know that you’re doing yourself a huge disservice. Create content that you are passionate about, that truly shows who you are. If that happens to be the polar opposite than society’s trends than so be it! You don’t need to be half dressed in order to be viewed as sexy, beautiful or interesting. You don’t need to have a bottle shaped body to attract an audience or attention.

It is always better to be authentically you than to copy and paste for approval. One piece of advice that always stuck with me is - if you are authentically YOU, you will attract the right people into your life. In the scope of wanting to create content, if you are authentically YOU, you will attract the right audience. An audience you actually resonate with rather one you have to try and keep up with.

For example, I have never been into makeup. Girls in our society are super into makeup (which is totally fine!!)  it’s just never been something I was interested in. I might wear makeup for a super special occasion but that’s pretty much it. I used to try and force myself to wear it to fit in and be like the other girls my age and instead of feeling beautiful I would feel like a painted clown. It took me YEARS to realize that I didn’t need to do that. If I don’t like makeup, I just don’t like makeup and there’s nothing wrong with that. It was exhausting trying to keep up. I prefer my natural beauty and that’s just as okay as someone who prefers to wear makeup every day.

I hope this helps someone struggling with similar thoughts. You are enough. You don’t need to subscribe to society’s “idea” of sexy and beauty if you don’t want to. The world needs what YOU can offer.

Wie oft machen wir uns Gedanken darüber, wie andere auf uns reagieren. Auf unsere neue Frisur, den Job, die Einrichtung, Klamotten.. was auch immer.

Was für ein unnötiger Kram! Sind wir ehrlich.

Ich möchte mir darüber nicht länger Gedanken machen. Meine Buntstifte sind gespitzt! Und ab dafür!

Menschen, die über uns urteilen könnten.. tja, denen geht es ganz schön schlecht. Die haben wohl sonst nichts Spannendes in ihrem Leben oder viel Angst vor ihrem Innersten. Traurig.

Also.. geh los und trag die Hose, die du willst, auch wenn „du nicht die Beine dafür hast“. Wer bestimmt das eigentlich?! Richtig. Nur du!

Sing laut auf der Straße, zieh an was du willst. Färb dir von mir aus deine Haare lila!
