What drives me even more insane about this scene is how you'd expect Gojo to imagine High school era! Geto in the crowd. Or at least not the cult leader, worst of all the curse users Geto Suguru. But no, it's the cult leader Geto. It's Geto as Gojo last remembered him. As Geto last was. Whatever choices Geto made, wherever his choices led him and them, however he was, whoever he was, traumas and messed up ideas and bad choices and ill reputations and scorns and all. Gojo wanted Geto Suguru there. Not any ideal version. Not any "what if" version. Not any "at some point in time before things went downhill" version. Not any "when your hands weren't stained with innocent blood" version. He knew very well what he wanted. And he wanted it all the same. He wanted Geto Suguru. However he was. He just wanted him to be there. He just wanted him to be.

And he didn't want him to help him, he didn't want him to fight with him even if they were strongest together and always fought together for a while. He just wanted him to be there in the crowd and cheer him on. He just wanted him to stand there and give him one of his sweet, heartwarming smiles that shaped his eyes into crescent moons. I have been trying to make a design for Kevin because he’s my favorite and I love him, but I haven’t been able to draw anything except for pre-strex Kevin. Because I love him and thinking about him being hurt is sad and then I see what I’ve drawn and it is in fact, sad.

He has lovely tattoos. Sun on one hand, sunflower on the other. Clouds and stem + roots on each respective arm.

I think I wanted the stem and clouds to represent that you need a little bad to make good things good and then in the post-strex design his tattoos get covered and all fucked up and cool because he doesn’t think that anymore. And because of what he says about strex messing up his body in irreversible ways.

I like him with sunflower imagery for some reason.

He has lots of rings and jewelry, and stickers on his clothes and equipment.

once again I am thinking about how CQL went out of its way to delete JGY and QS's preexisting backstory from the novel so JGY didn't sleep with her till their wedding night, presumably to make him More Villainous(TM), yet also went out of its way to establish that this was a revolting experience for him and he hated it, which in many ways is more concerning than the original concept would have been so like. why.

Prowl's first born, if he could be called like that, is something he tells you about when the idea of having your own finally pops up, he is concise in the matter but there is some kind of strange energy around when he mentions a word about the carrier, which you really want to get into because every ex of his is an acquaintance of yours to this point in the relationship, or even friends in the case of Chromedome (who's own conjunx still sends you codified texts to run away aboard the Lost Light next time they stop by Cybertron), but if Prowl is acting like that it only makes you remember the construticons, who are really nice but also way too bitter with him and still want his head on a plate.

He gives you a name, and it seems to be enough to make both sire and young spark to put a strange face at the mention of it, just as it makes Prowl make a face when you call on to Springer from time to time when he said you weren't overstepping boundaries by calling him near to the day Prowl said he was created, more or less, it still amazes you how they don't even remember most of the time when one's birthday is, but it was in the middle of the war, so it's understandable even when the cultural difference catched you unprepared.

It's not the first time you cross paths with him face to faceplate, but is indeed the first time he talks to you without awkwardness floating around and also the first time he puts a pede on your house, into Prowl's house, no more strange energy since your husband isn't home, not as much as usual at least; from the get go he is totally gentle with you, as always, helping in what he can or in what you need, Prowl isn't near so the help is greatly appreciated when your hands are mostly occupied with your child that looks around and how comical Springer finds the fact he is starting to have a little 'v' forming on his fore helm, Springer had a human friend, he tells you about her, and you can say he misses her in the way he imagines how she would be bewildered if she ever got to see a sparkling while alive, or even knew about it.

As if being called on, the little protoform moves the newly formed pedes against you, blue optics looking at Springer with what you can only describe as curiosity, far from being intimidated at the new bot and, now that you think about it, Springer is the first bot Chainbreaker has seen apart from his sire.

Prowl is overprotective like that, you'll talk to him about it, later.

There some kind of energy between them, you can tell, being not exactly capable of understand what your baby is saying apart from some noises that Springer is hearing with all the attention in the world, you can feel the hairs on the back of your neck standing, most likely CB is trying to communicate in that electronic kind of way most cybertronians do.

Curiosity gets the better of you, inclining just slightly in order to have CB look back at you, little optics looking back at you and newly developed servos trying to catch what he can, little mouth doing the same, "What are they saying?"

"Honestly, no idea" one of his digits get a piece of your hair out of Chainbreaker's mouth, avoiding just in time in order to prevent any oral fluid on him, both look at each other with curiosity, Springer has never seen a sparkling this close before, nor is he thinking about having one, he is far too young for that and single, the idea of age difference still gives you headaches.

It gets a little hard but you get CB out of the back carrier and into your arms, only having a few weeks of existence but your child is as big as a human toddler to this point, one that is still looking at the big green mech in front, which makes you ask out loud: "Do you want to hold CB?"

Now, Springer is an autobot commander at such a young age (at least for a Cybertronian), having a complete unit at his disposition and a reputation that has been written by energon of enemies and allies in the worst case scenario, tales of him killing an adversary are told around, dirtying his servos in order to achieve a general goal, in that way it makes you remember of Prowl and how they are indeed alike, they do have some features in common even when Prowl said it doesn't work for cybertronians in the same way it works for humans or tech organics.

But you're so sure they look exactly the same when it comes to carry Chainbreaker, the same full open optics, almost like they were frightened, the cold expression not because they don't care but because they are scared by the mere idea of cradling the little sparkling and probably doing some damage by accident.

Yep, definitely almost the same.

It took you an hour to get Prowl to admit it but you know what is going on with Springer in less time now.

Chainbreaker moves a little, maybe because the way you hold CB under the arms is starting to be a problem, making a sound that you have only heard when the distress is more than what your child can really handle, it's almost a clue for Springer to take the sparkling on his big servos, the feeling of ground to put his pedes is enough to stop the strange sound coming from the little mouth.

"CB likes you", you tell him so when his expression is still hardened by his doubts, maybe he doesn't really know if it's good for him to be near CB, but, even when Prowl will never openly admit it, you really wish for Chainbreaker to have a better relationship with Springer, call it human senses or whatever, the idea of your family as a whole brings you some kind of happiness that you once put as unnecessary while younger.

Springer takes a moment, finally cupping the little sparkling with his servos and giving stability to the little helm with two digits, just like he saw some humans do with their young while being stationed back on earth, you tell him he is a natural and Springer is about to admit he learned it a long time ago just to stop dead on his movements while looking at a corner of the room, one servo cradles Chainbreaker to his chassis and the other takes you out as fast and delicate as he can, putting both of your near his chassis and looking prettified, not hearing when you ask what is wrong only to look at the same direction as him.

"Ay", there is some kind of understanding in your tone while you get free way too easy, he reaches out for you, but how to explain? Has Prowl even said something? Does he even know? Maybe not, because you only hold a cup to catch what has put him in this state, "don't worry, these little things are normal back on earth, no need to be alarmed", you are cheerful while taking the little spider to the human sized green house attached with the living unit, letting it go freely, Springer swears it looks back at you and then at him before disappearing in the foliage of whatever earthling plant you have there, those are way too many coincidences, "must have come with the order of seeds I made before".

You have no idea, Springer decides so while still holding the sparkling that is trying to reach to his autobot badge, trying to grind the little 'v' forming on such a little helm against him.

He'll tell Prowl about it when he gets back, and think deeply about how much he has really changed in the past for it to end like this.

The fact that Prowl and Springer share the same Chevron on their fore helms, well, in case of Springer it's part of the structure of his helm just like Tarantulas when he was Mesothulas, it doesn't work that way for cybertronians but it's just perfect when you think about it, obviously Chainbreaker would also have it.
