7. How do you create/style your sims in CAS?

It normally depends on what type of sim they are. I always try to base their style/aesthetic on their personality or where they live. Cause Circe had a grunge-y look as a teen but now she’s moved to Sulani, I gave her a beachy vibe.

8. How do you build/design your sims’ homes?

I tend to think about what sim I’m moving into the home. Then I try to match their aesthetic with decor and wallpaper etc

11. What type of pack are you hoping they make next?

FAIRIES. I really really want fairies to be added to the game.

A lot of people talk about what’s NOT in the sims 4 that they wish was, but what is your favorite feature that IS in the sims 4 (from base game or a pack)? i don't play ts4 so i'm not as knowledgeable about it but!!! the cottage living pack looked very very cute and i want bunnies in sims 3 🥺let my sim crystal have her pet bunny mimsy!! 25. What is your favorite or most used skill? cooking!!! i love all the different recipes sims can learn, and when they introduced the concept of learning cooking skill by watching tv in sims 2 it blew my mind as a kid lol (coming from sims 1 where cooking was only learned through books) i also love all the modded recipes and ingredients and have a bunch of them in my game 31. i'm really enjoying the educational overhaul mod right now! it's really nice cause it adds so much optional stuff for school 🥰

right now i'm really enjoying the knitting features and selling stuff, idk it's been fun to use it with the Montero family in my nsb2 😎

11. What type of pack are you hoping they make next?

I’d really love to see a generations pack next or something like that. I’m super excited about the infant update, but I also think our elders could get an update as well. And they could add a lot of the features we had in the sims 3 pack that were so fun to play with.

Hum...that’s a tough one xD I remember that what drew me to the sims 4 back when they were first announced was the emotions. I was so excited for sims to finally show emotions and not only moodlets. And maybe that's still my favourite feature. Oh! Also the better build/buy mode, that's a big favourite for me. I still remember the struggle of building houses in sims 3.

20. What is your least favorite sim age? 

Elder, just because right now they’re not different from adults at all. There’s no features exclusive to them and it makes it kind of boring ngl.

2. Least favorite world in any sims game? I find Willow Creek to be pretty dull, but maybe I don't play in it enough??

6. Current favorite CC creator? I actually don't use much cc in my game anymore, so I can't say that I have a current favorite creator really. I haven't downloaded anything but builds lately. :/

7. How do you create/style your sims in CAS? This is bad, I am so lazy. 😬 I don't usually go into CAS with any idea of what I am intending to make, I just roll the dice until I find some combo of things that I like and tweak from there. If I'm making a Sim to play (not to just take screenshots of...) then I style them off their traits and which world I plan to put them in, or try to.

Been playing since Sims 1 in 2000. Like I remember driving to Wal-Mart at midnight to try to get more RAM so I could install Hot Date, since it was on their website. It wasn’t in the store though, so I went to Staples the next day.

I played SimCity as a teenager, back when it was on floppy disk and I think I also played it on Super Nintendo? So of course when Maxis came out with the Sims I was into it. Speaking of SimCity, I miss the old thick guidebooks that came with the game and that were funny and cool.

I’d have to check Origin when I get home for Sims 4 specifically, but let’s just say I’ve played more than a few thousand hours since 2000 over the whole franchise.

Favorite age is I guess young adult/adult. But I don’t know, I like teen too. And elders are nice for being chill. But if you forced me to pick a favorite, yeah, young adult/adult.

Hmm. I guess I don't really care for the detective career. It's probably the only one I never go for with any of my sims. I tried it once when I first played GTW and just didn't find it as interesting as some of the others.

20. the baby stage. like when they are just born. i immediately age them into toddlers when they're born, just cause i feel like the baby stage is ultimately useless and i wanna see what they look like as a toddler

8. How do you build/design your sims’ homes?

I just go with the flow! I usually have an idea in my head beforehand or I get inspired by a picture or concept, and from there I just see what works!

10. How would you describe the way you play the sims?

I used to play the sims switching between chaotic gameplay and wholesome gameplay, but usually always legacy! I still play like that, but much slower now.

3. Favorite pack (that you own or wish you did)

I love the seasons pack, I think I couldn’t play without it because weather is an important feature for me. And I love holidays and the ability to create ones yourself.

11. What type of pack are you hoping they make next?

I know this is something you might have heard a lot already, but I just think more family based content will be much appreciated. For example, in my opinion, kids should have more aspirations, more activities to participate in, maybe something like Generations from the sims 3, where kids could have imaginary friends, teens could prank the neighbors house, something like that. In the end I always prefer a family gameplay style, a legacy, so that type of content I’d be very excited to see.

18. Do you use a lot of cheats?

Oh no! Haha, I hate cheats, at least the ones that facilitate the player, for me it makes it very boring at the end. The ones I do use are building cheats, like move objects or the debug cheat that shows more objects. I couldn’t live without those for sure!

3. Favorite pack (that you own or wish you did) from any sims game and why?

my favorite changes a lot to be honest just depending on what sort of gameplay i am doing but for right now, i am really loving the eco lifestyle pack! my sim raed is a freegan, and it's really fun to be able to fabricate furniture and recycle things to be able to make other things. honestly it has a lot of really cool features that i feel like make the sims 4 unique to other sims games!

16. How do you choose names for your sims?

i do a lot of research! i browse baby name websites, baby name lists on tumblr, pinterest is also a good resource for finding large lists of baby names all in one place. i just scroll and scroll until i find something that fits, if that makes sense!

25. What is your favorite or most used skill?

most used is probably cooking, considering my sims kind of have to do that in order to survive for the most part lol, but my favorite would probably be painting! it's really cool to see all of the different paintings sims can create as their skill levels up, and it is quite a lucrative skill as well, which is good for gameplay!

Veronaville, for sure. I think the most similar one I've played in the most is Windenburg and I love it soooo so much too.

The cooking skill! I always make my sims cook, I think it's cute to make them eat something according to the situation. They level up pretty quickly 😬

How do you create/style your sims in CAS? - i've got a lot of lil guys living in my head, so i'm usually trying to realize them in sim form as accurately as the game and cc/mods allow ~ sometimes i discover fun deviations from my original idea and roll with it to create some new lil guy, and sometimes i'll find a fresh cc item that inspires me to put together a new lil guy from that detail or item <3 all of my sims start with a story and i just fuck about in CAS until the pixels arrange themselves into something that feels like a well-imagined container for said story

14. Why did you decide to start a Simblr? - i actually never planned to start a simblr and was only on tumblr for cc shopping, but then i discovered the storytellers and different bach challenges, and i started to realize 'holy shit, i wanna vibe with these weirdos like me' lmfaoo <33 the level of variety really drew me in and made me feel like there was space for me

30. What’s your favorite thing to do in the game? - CAS+BB+screenshot lol this game is a vessel for my cc / mods addiction and story ideas atm (ngl i lowkey hate building but the end result is soso satisfying~), but my fav actual game activities are mundane things; gardening, cooking, etc

The longest possible HAHA 12: A lot of people talk about what’s NOT in the sims 4 that they wish was, but what is your favorite feature that IS in the sims 4 (from base game or a pack)? ALIENS. A L I E N S But I feel to say that A SERIOUS rework of aliens is very needed. They have so much potential. I love them in the game, they're so much fun and I love the scientist workpath BUT THEY'RE SO BASIC. We could have an entire alien world and it's a map with NOTHING. (Sorry my answer became a rant lmao)

30. What’s your favorite thing to do in the game?

Usually to make a lot of screenshots and let the Sim tell me what they want to do. I mean, I like to see them grow as much as they can by themselves. It's hard sometimes (bugs coff coff) but it can also be so satisfying!
