Konnobo! Considering the new potential reach I have via this website and the fact that my more specific research is at a pause, this seems the best way to move forward for now.

Unlike specific rehabilitation projects like the Nyula (Sneasel) and Harysen (Quilfish) lines, it is... effectively impossible to track every individual Bakphoon (Typhlosion) or Decidueye or Samurott that travels into Sinnoh as a pre-evolution and happens to take on a Hisuian form when evolving.

Therefore, I must ask: if anyone in the Sinnoh region owns/trains or knows somebody that owns/trains a Hisuian Bakphoon, it would be greatly appreciated if I would be able to meet with you and your Pokemon!

Specifically, I would be looking to study; your Bakphoon's diet, size and weight, natural habits and behaviors, moves known and learnable, variations in appearance and other odd quirks that yours might display.

There are a couple of stipulations I have to put, unfortunately.

- Hisuian Bakphoon means, specifically, a Bakphoon that was evolved in Sinnoh and displays the Fire/Ghost typing. A standard breed Bakphoon doesn't count, as it isn't Hisuian breed.

- You must currently live in or be in Sinnoh! I don't have the means to travel out-of-region at the moment.

- Your Bakphoon cannot have undergone any sort of genetic engineering at any point. As of right now, I cannot trust that a Bakphoon that has not evolved naturally would behave or act in the same manner as one that has.

Destiny is able to speak and understand the language of different evolutionary chains but it’s so many different Pokémon that even people around her aren’t sure any more the exact ones she can communicate with!

Christmas holidays break allowed me to work faster on the comic hence why I managed to upload these frames on a Wednesday. But I exceptionally bring the last part of this story on next Friday to end the year with the comic finished! ^^ Stay tuned!

This character is meant to be a member of a trainer's team. This character is 'wild' (hence the very messy fur), following his instincts and 'base' feelings all the time... including doing what 'feels good'. He ended up getting fat from the 'human food' his trainer let him eat. Unfortunately, he did not 'mellow out' from being fat.

He is meant to be a joke character. He is also supposed to be a contrast to Sean (a muscular Midnight Lycanroc that is a jock at first glance but also very 'book smart' and responsible) and Kanji (a musclegut Electabuzz who lives a simple, satisfying lifestyle and follows common sense, instead).

I ended up narrowing down the available Pokémon to just 2: Kantonian Raticate and Typhlosion. Both fit the role, being a rat and badger, respectively. Typhlosion would also make an interesting tribute to pandafm, an artist (and Nipponese speaker!) that I admire. However, there is the trouble that Typhlosion may be 'too mainstream'. There is also the problem about the type of trouble both would cause; Raticate would bite everything all the time, while Typhlosion would cause explosion with its fur (though the fur may have to be blazing, first?).

If I go with Raticate, he would be called either 'Gustavo' (a reference to Gus from Cinderella) or 'Emil' (a reference to Émile from Ratatouille). If I go with Typhlosion, he would be called 'Bakujirou' (from The Sir-Knight Experience), though I might instead go with a reference to pandafm.

The real reason why I uploaded this is because I thought that others would like to see my though process. I am just thinking 'out loud' here.

There do not seem to be any major physical differences between the Odoshishi of today and the Odoshishi of Hisui, surprisingly enough. At least, nothing that would immediately and blatantly stand out against a modern specimen. (It has only been so long since they stopped evolving in nature, after all.)

Rather, like many of the Hisui evolutions, it's much more likely to be a result of changes in the environment. Harsher living conditions, perhaps, or a large amount of Fighting or Poison predation that caused them to be more adept? Or, much like my Bakphoon, it was the energy of the land itself that gave Odoshishi the power to be Ayashishi.

Some of these papers say that the evolution seems to be prompted by frequent use and practice of a specific Move, as well...

The name seems to have been taken by Time, unfortunately, but I'm certain that a strong enough Odoshishi or one in the right environment could relearn it.
