literally something i didn't realize that was normalized in general western fantasy is the idea that dragons are restricted to one head (i mean, there's exceptions, but tiamat from dnd is the only example i could pull off the top of my head)

because! in czech folklore/fairytales and connected media, the idea that dragons have three or seven heads is very normal, up to the point where you can find it in toddler's books. in one of my favorite fairytale movies, princ bajaja, the battle with the dragon has the added tension and three-part structure provided by the dragon's more hydra-like quality (without the need to cauterize the stumps with fire though)

(i have no idea where i'm going with this point. dragons cool? musing about the fine minutae of dragons from different cultures fun? something something 1 head=dragon as singular theme/threat, 2 heads=discussions of opposite/conflicting natures, 3 heads=classical tripling of tension, 4 to 6 heads=why, 7 heads=great calamity upon you and your kingdom and your entire family, etc.)

Hi! Thank you for your suggestions! There are sooo many CS films without English subtitles that would deserve recognition. Unfortunately, creating subtitles for them is such a hard task, I really admire translators so much... Also, the space on my GD is not limitless and it’s already getting smaller (I guess around 20 films can still be added).

Světlo lásky (Das Licht der Liebe) is a German fairy tale so it’s kind of complicated... I managed to ‘translate’ Die Geschichte von der Gänseprinzessin und ihrem treuen Pferd Falada because I found German subtitles, so that helped me a lot but I can’t find any German subtitles for Světlo lásky...

Princeznovská výzva: update

Po půlnoci jsem uzavřela sběr hlasů v první, vyřazovací fázi, našeho důležitého výzkumu. Sešlo se 101 hlasů! O_O Hustý.

Of Moral Orel gets a live action musical film, I hope It would also involve stop motion animation, and maybe get it animated by a studio in the Czech Republic. Idk how expensive it is to involve another country to also work in a film but Czech stop motion films are absolutely beautiful and would hope the film is a joint USA-Czech production.
