Big brother Barret got a bear, so Thei got a tiger! I had a roaring time knitting up the newest member of the zoo for my baby cousin!

The design and original pattern can be found in "Knitted Wild Animals," by Sarah Keen. I modified the pattern somewhat--I added the white belly and paws, and decided to knit the head, limbs, and tail in the round instead of flat and seamed, as the pattern indicates. I'm very pleased that I was able to make those modifications to the pattern while still staying true to the design! (If you can't tell, we here at KnittingAZoo are big fans of Sarah Keen's animal designs).

Sorry for not updating in forever, but life, day job, and what is likely ADHD, ya know?

I finally finished that baby blanket!

Remaining dinos to join the fold.

My dinosaur army amassed.

I did finish the blanket itself, but it ended up too small. So I grabbed the largest hook I own, size P I think, and made a half-double crochet border.

I did still get to try out a crab stitch edging, just in camo instead of Aran as I had planned.

This sucker used all 3 skeins of camo yarn I had bought for it, plus a little of a small ball that I had found in my yarn stash. AND between the border and the dinos, most of a skein of the Aran color! I don't typically do big projects like this. 4 skeins!!!!

So, that's that! I just need to ship it to the recipients! Onto what's next on the list.

This is a baby gift for a friend. I can't wait to send it off.

Pattern by Stitchrovia on etsy. 14count aida that I got off amazon. I replaced the charted blues with DMC 704 and 445 for the gender neutrals preferred by the mommy to be.

Only complaint I had was that everything went one stitch past the G on the right but everything lined up on the left. So I adjusted by a stitch here or there to fix it.
