At least I made it til 4am this time before waking up and tossing & turning for a few hours??? I guess.
🙃🥴
My oldest brother used to always say, “Don’t mix restlessness with your resting place,” so I might as well get up, get my PT in, & go watch the sunrise.
Now that I think about it, I’ve been at this house for several years now and I genuinely have no clue what Early Morning Hollywood is like outside 😂🤣🤣 I just know that inside it’s peaceful cos it’s the only time all the neighbors actually shut tf up.
I can’t waitttt to move closer to the beach. Even just viewing that apartment last weekend and exploring a new neighborhood over there it was WAY more calm & peaceful than this Hollywood sh!t.
Gotsta GOOOO.

|| Ambrosine is the kind of parent who will tuck her kid and the kid's teddy bear into bed.
Well, because she does. One of Arthur's best friends is his scrungly teddy 'Bo'. (Or his full name 'Sir Beauregard Humphrey McStuffypants') Wherever Arthur goes, you are certain he's clutching his plushie best friend tightly in his arms.
And due of these frequent adventures, Ambrosine had to learn how to sew, becoming in Arthur's words 'the best teddy doctor ever in the whole widest world'. Any ripped seam, torn fuzzy limb or ear, Ambrosine is quick to perform 'teddy surgery.' Once she's done, she'll tuck the bear her son's bed and give the plush a kiss on the head before telling Arthur that the surgery was a great success and that Bo needed to rest.
In addition to any teddy bear repairs, Ambrosine learned how to make little clothes for Bo, as Arthur liked for them to match, and it often gave her something to do.
In the One Piece Verse, Shuck Apothecary doubles as a 'Teddy Hospital' as Ambrosine will repair any stuffed toy free of charge. If there is a 'surgery' in progress, Nina will man the store front while Ambrosine is in the back tending to the plushie patient. (No, she won't take your money. You'll just end up finding it in your pocket on your way home.)

What would u do if u knew u could not fail?
good question!!! i weirdly enough have like a plethora of things i could do!
like first of all, i think i'd do all of my exams. all tests, every one of my grades would be good because i couldnt possibly fail! that makes me sound like a nerd but genuinely, if i was guaranteed not failing, why not?
i'd create world peace, i'd rob a billion dollars from the bank and i'd eradicate guns and explosives from the world. like you wanna bomb a country? nuh uh!

See the thing is I think a fundemental thing about Gale Dekarios is that if he didn’t have a love interest to talk him down he would claim the crown every time. Because I don’t think he would even stop to think about whether it’s a good idea or not, just like he didn’t stop to think about the orb the forst time. Did he learn his lesson that time? Sort of. He’s going to be super careful about rebuilding the crown. No mistakes! No research undone! He learned his lesson in the sense that now he thinks he was being too hasty and not thinking it through with all the facts… but he has all the facts now. And Karsus’ own book! I think that’s such a fundemental part of his character. Also, he’s impulsive! He does and says things without thinking all the time! Like yes he does it in a charming way and the way Tim plays him leads you to believe he’s jokingly doing it but I’m not so sure. His impulsivity, despite what Larian try and make you believe in scenes like the Blood of Lathander, has only marginally improved from when he discovered the orb. In fact, he’s been locked in a tower for a year, if anything that made it worse now that there’s so much to see and do again.
“But his friends!” I hear you say. Well, disembodied voice that represents my imaginary audience, to that I say- he had friends before. Supposedly. And I have this feeling that he’d think no matter how good of a friendship he has with someone, they’ll leave at the drop of a hat if he does anything wrong ever. Maybe- MAYBE- one of the others could convince him not to do it (I’m thinking Wyll probably) but idk how much sway that would hold with him given his past with people like Elminster and I assume his other colleagues. And another very prominent characteristic of his is that he is very romantically motivated. Even one of his wishes if you talk to that mirror is some shit about a tower being a refuge for him and his sweetheart or whatever (I love this sap of a man). I think more than a lot of the others, he is really looking for a deep connection, a deep companionship, and in the absence of something like that I think he’ll settle for the best revenge against Mystra he can conceive of which is wresting her magic from her or becoming better than her. (Granted it doesnt exactly work out that way but that is the groundwork of his plan)
So I think, in conclusion, if there are a hundred alternate universes Gale would pursue the crown of karsus in 98 of them. The two other possibilities being he has a romantic partner that does not share his ambitions or think they will harm him and thus talks him out of it, or he does for some reason listen to a voice of reason which he has come to trust as much as his own (the only companion I can concieve of this as being is Wyll or an unromanced Tav/Durge)

i still haven’t stopped thinking about dan is not okay, as in, dan’s tv show.
from dan we can get a pretty good sense of the comedy and general vibes, i think, but that’s different from knowing. do i think the man can act? strangely, i think the theatre kid instincts and a good director could guide him through. speaking of, who was involved? who could’ve been involved? so many possibilities

Do I think this is true? Maybe for Sunny it is. I don't really know him as well as I do Cassie, so it's completely possible that what he really gets out of all of this is the unsullied joy of being right, and being told he's right. I'm not getting on anything higher than a Shetland pony, I love being right.
But I think for Cassie, it's about more than being told that, it's about making these crimes make sense, which of course is ridiculous and a fool's fucking errand, but why should that stop anyone? And with Eric, it somehow doesn't still make sense to her. She wants the pieces to fall into place, she wants to feel like she's in a fucking Agatha Christie novel, but that's just not how things happen here in the real world.

Y'all, we need like
A gender neutral or gender feminine word that encapsulates the feeling of the word "dude"
Like, dude's a great word! We're all dudes going about our lives, and like The Dude we should all find ways to abide through trying times and to roll with the punches and keep on going with a smile
But some people dislike the word dude being applied to them, and that's alright
So like
Gender neutral or gender feminine word that encapsulates the idea of dude but like, neutral and/or feminine
I think I'm making sense
But yeah
If anyone's got any suggestions, fuckin tell me!
And none of that "oh but dude is gender neutral for me" if you do that you're a weirdo who can't read the room, m'dude
So, yeah, spitballing this into the aether of the website and plz tell me your ideas
