You, the eldest daughter of Tonowari and Ronal, are currently sitting alongside Neytiri, mother to Neteyam te Suli Tsyeyk'itan, her eldest son. She was suppost to talk with you about yours and Neteyam's marrige, as your future mother-in-law while Tonowari mirrors the familiar connection as he spends time with Neteyam.

"what do you want to talk about?" You asked her calmly while you were looking at her with neutral face.

Neytiri's gaze flicked over to you. Her eyes went from your wet feet, because you were swimming earlier with Kiri, to your hand-made skirt and top which was beautifully decorated with some small shells and corals. She took your whole beauty and after that she locked eyes with you.

''About you and Neteyam. After speaking with your parents about it, we agreed on the proposal. You two will be married.'' Neytiri answered while looking at you.

That took you off guard. You and Neteyam were good friends, he's a great guy and it's fun with him, but that's all. You don't love him nor want to marry him.

''But I don't want to marry him, I don't love him.'' You said still little shocked from this announcement.

Neytiri shifted in her seat, it was clear she hated this conversation but why? It made her feel weird when she just thought about the idea of you marrying her son. It made her feel mix of anger, envy, sadness and fear and it was just too much chaos on her, with Quaritch looking for them.

''But you are both of age now.. Why would you not want to marry him?" She said as she leaned forward you slightly.

You just sighed. You knew that Neteyam is a good guy and a great warrior. He was your good friend but nothing more. It was fun spending time with him but nothing more, no hard feelings.

"I just don't love him, he's a good guy and my good friend but... I cannot feel love towards him so I won't marry him." You answered her question calmly with stoic face.

You knew that your parents wanted to best for both of you but your heart already belong to someone else without them even knowing it. You noticed how her ear flicked when you were answering which made you shift in your seat.

You felt the sunlight getting warmer and warmer on your skin which signalized sunset.

Neytiri studied you for a moment before looking away. She hated this even more then before but she kept a calm demeanor.

"I see.. What is it about Neteyam that is making you not want to marry him? Is it his looks or something else? She asked as he gaze shifted back at you.

It was a real mess inside of her. She wanted you to marry Neteyam and have a beautiful future with him but at the same time she hated the though of you marrying him.

You looked down at your feet before speaking. "No! He's a pretty guy and a good guy like I said but.."

You choked on your own words. You felt a cold chill ran down through your spine. You couldn't say it out loud. It was forbidden. It could ruin everything so you got scared and didn't finish your sentence.

Neytiri's gaze stayed fixed on you as you were looking down at your feet. "But... what?" She asked calmly but you could see right through her calm demeanor.

You swallowed the anxiety that was building inside of you and looked into her eyes. "I-... I love someone else..." You said as you looked up at her, feeling her intense gaze on you which again made you shift in your seat.

This took her off guard. She was prepared for everything like that you want to be free or something like that but this?! This was something she hadn't expected in the slightest.

"Who? Who is that you love?" Neytiri asked while trying to sound calm and soft yet you could hear the hint of anger or sadness in her voice, it was just weird; you couldn't put your finger on it.

Once again you looked at your feet and stayed quiet for extra few minutes. You knew that if you say it out loud; you can never take it back, never. You wanted to keep your mouth shut, yet your body didn't listen. "It's you..." You whispered.

Her eyes widened and her tail flicked as you revealed your love for her. There were so many thoughts forming inside her head, so needed a minute to process what you just said.

Finally, she spoke. "...you love me?" She asked quietly, making sure she heard you correctly while her tail flicked once again.

You knew this was forbidden but you couldn't control your emotions and who you fell in love with. She caught your eyes the first moment her and the other Sully's arrived.

You just nodded as an answer due to the large lump forming in your throat. You knew it was forbidden but you just couldn't help it!

You felt the lump in your throat getting bigger and bigger, same as your anxiety and without even realizing your body moved without thinking.

You stood up then almost ran outside of her marui and jumped in the sea while you quickly called your ilu. And you swam away as far as possible. You swam far, far to your safe place which you found few years ago. No one knew about this place, only you and your ilu, you were safe there and you could sort out your thoughts nicely in peace.

Neytiri on the other hand froze at place while her head was filled with thoughts. When she came out of her trance you were long gone. You didn't even let her answer you but to be honest she didn't know what to say.

All she knew was that this, this marriage was wrong. And that maybe her heart was calling for you just as much as yours were calling for hers...

Time flies

Sully family x child reader part 2

Part one- Eywas mystery

The years following when the sully’s took you in up until the time when you had to leave to go to the Metkayina clan

~ age- 8 ~

Neytiri was teaching you how weave along with Kiri. It had been two years since Jake and Neytiri had found you. You had started calling the two your mom and dad with ease

“Mama can you help me please” you called out to Neytiri, your hands were stuck in the rope you were trying to weave into a net. Neytiri took one look at you and chuckled slightly

“come here little one” you kinda waddled her way trying not to trip on the longer pieces that were hitting your legs. Neytiri carefully unwrapped your hands and showed you the weave process again. This time she helped you more so you didn’t get your hands stuck again. Soon you had a simple, but effective net which you proudly showed Kiri

“Look I finished mine” your voice said happily showing your sister the next

“I finished mine too, I made a basket” Kiri said as she smiled

“We should use it to collect flowers Kiri!” She nodded so the two of you kissed your mom on the cheek and ran off into the flower field near by

~ age-12~

Neteyam , Lo’ak, Kiri and you were standing at the edge of the Hallelujah mountain

“It’s time to for you four to tame an Ikran” Jake said smiling

“Dad what if we fall” you say looking down and gulping. Jake pats your back softly “then I’ll swoop down and catch you, now go on you four”

Kiri is the first one to bond with an Ikran. She didn’t do it in the normal way though, she kind of befriended it?

Next was Neteyam, he tamed one quickly and efficiently. Within a few minutes he was flying around on his Ikran with ease

Lo’ak got thrown around a lot by the Ikran, he almost fell off when the Ikran flew down the mountain but he was able to connect his queue at the last minute

Finally it was your turn, the Ikran you had decided to try to tame was blue with streaks of purple. When you tried to get close she snapped at you ready to bite if you got too close, you had to admit that you were intimidated by the flying creature.

“Well here goes nothing” you said jumping on the ikrans back as she turned around.

The Ikran screeched and tried to throw you off as it flew into the air. Your hands struggled trying to grab your queue while still holding on to the creature. From the ground Jake was on his Ikran ready to grab you incase anyone happened and you fell off.

Finally you grabbed your queue and connected it with the ikrans. After a few minutes the blue and purple Ikran stopped thrashing and began to fly normally. You fly down to where your dad and your siblings were.

“You did great Y/N, but don’t scare me like that again” Neteyam said concerned about the fact that you could’ve plummeted to your death

“Don’t worry brother dad would never have let that happen plus Y/N way too good for that” Lo’ak said high fiving you

“Yeah she did much better then you two idiots” Kiri said as she wrapped her arm around your shoulder

Jake congratulated the four of you for doing so well. The five of you flew back to Neytiri and Tuk to share the accomplishments

~age-14~

The RDA was back on pandora and Quatrich, your dads old enemy, was back as an avatar. Right now because of your brother Lo’aks stupid need to see an old battle field him, Kiri, Tuk, Spider, and you were all being held hostage by Quatrich and his goons.

“Show me your hands girl” Quatrich said in very broken Na’vi, his goons had a gun to almost everyone’s head except Tuk who had a knife to her throat

You flipped Quatrich off as a way to show your five finger which made him roll his eyes. He had taken Lo’ak communication device a hours ago and had given your father instructions for giving himself up in exchange for you and your sibling. Suddenly you could hear your mothers signal, to anybody else it would just be interpreted as another sound of the pandorean jungle but to the sully kids it meant that their mother was near and ready to rescue them. Finally an opportunity to strike arises and Neytiri shots the guy holding Kiri with an arrow. Neytiri, Jake and Neteyam all spring into action. You, Tuk and Lo’ak bite the hands of your captors managing to distract them enough so that you could get away. Shots rang in the air and one of the avatars had Kiri but not for long as neytiri fired another arrow that landed straight into his chest. Neteyam almost gets shot while trying to rescue you guys but in the end all of the sully’s come out with minor injuries

“Where’s Spider?” Kiri’s voice trembled. At that moment everyone realizes that the human boy had been taken

“I’m so sorry kids, but I don’t think we can rescue him” Jake says, it hurt to see his children’s reaction more than losing Spider

That night you could hear your parents argue about what happened and how your dad just wanted to keep your family safe and the safety of the clan… which meant having to move, the RDA only cared about him and his family so if your family disappeared then both the family and the clan would be safe. You ran out of the hut, much to your parent’s surprise because they thought you and your siblings were asleep.

You sat outside of your home upset by your fathers words. You could feel someone sit down next to you

“I’m so sorry baby girl” Jake said wrapping his arm around you, you sob leaning in to your fathers embrace

“I don’t wanna leave dad, this is our home it’s not fair” your voice trembles

“I know baby, buts it’s for safety” Jake says looking black to see the rest of your family outside.

“You know what your father says, right kids” your mom says with a solemn expression

“Sully’s stick together” the sully kids say unenthusiastically

“Come on with attitude, I know you guys don’t want to leave but it needs to happen” Jake says hugging Tuk who was about to cry

The next day your father gave up his title of Olo’eyktan to Tarsem who sadly accepted. The entire clan was sad to see your family leave but they understood why you all had to leave

Everyone got on their Ikran, Tuk going with your mom, it took a few days to get to the Metkayina clan. When the sully’s landed they were surrounded by Metkayina, your father telling all of you to behave as some of the younger boys giving the family wary glares

“Look what is that? Is it supposed to be a tail” one of the metkayina boys says talking about Neteyam making some other metkayina laugh

You see Lo’ak entranced by a a girl walking out of the water and you just roll your eyes

“It’s too small how are they supposed to swim” the same boys say referring to your tail

“Do not Ao’nung Rotxo” the girl says, Lo’ak says hi to her and she smiles and looks away shyly

soon their Olo’eyktan (tonowari) came out of the water walking through the crowd to your family

“I see you Tonowari” your father says bowing slightly the rest of the family following his example

“Jake sully” Toniwari says as he acknowledges your family

Soon the tsahik came through the crowd her expression cold

“I see you, Ronal Tsahik of the metkayina” your father voice rang

“I see you Ronal” says Neytiri

“Why do you come to us Jake Sully” says Tonowari curious as to why forest people would come to their home near the ocean

“We seek uturu…” Jake says making the Metkayina gasp

“Uturu?” Ronal says surprised by your father statement

“…a sanctuary for my family” your father continues. Ronal walks forward after exchanging looks with her mate

“We are reef people. You are forest people. Your skills mean nothing here” the Olo’eyktan said as Ronal continues to circle your family

“So we will learn your ways, right” Jake said the last part directed towards his family

Ronal grabs your mothers tail and then Tuks arms

“Their arms are thin…” Ronal says walking and grabbing Kiris tail “…their tails are weak. You will be slow in the water”. Then she grabs hands hands raising them in the air

“These children are not even true Na’vi” she states as the Metkayina gasp

“Yes we are” you say upset. But she doesn’t care and just goes to grab Lo’aks hand and raises it to show his five fingers

“They have demon blood!” The tsahik claim immediately making the rest of the Metkayina more hostile towards your family. God how your blood was boiling at this point. You hadn’t done anything to this woman and she already didn’t like you and your family

“Look! Look” your father shows his hands “I was born to the sky people and now I’m Na’vi. You can adapt” he says turning back to Tonowari

“We can adapt” Jake says almost desperately

“My husband was Toruk Makto. He lead the clans to victory against the sky people” says Neytiri in an harsh tone as she looks at Tonowari.

“This you call victory? Hiding among strangers…” your mother looks down “…it seems Eywa has turned her back on you chosen” your mom hisses and Ronal retribution with a hiss of her own, you could see that the two were ready to fight at any second.

Jake cuts in between the two women apologizing for your mothers behavior claiming that the journey has made her tired and easily irritable and Tonowari changes the subject

“Toruk Makto is a a Great War leader. All Na’vi people know his story. But we Metkayina are not at war…” he turns to your father “… we cannot let you bring your war here” Toniwari says

“Look I’m done with war, okay? I just wanna keep my family safe” your father says holding Tuk

“Uturu has been asked” your mother says harshly

The Olo’eyktan and the Tsahik exchange looks before Ronal nods slightly

“Toruk Makto and his family will stay with us. Treat them as our brothers and sisters. But they do not know the sea. So, they will be like babies taking their first breath. Teach them our ways so they do not know the shame of being useless” you could see your fathers relief as Tonowari said these words. The family thanked him and he explained that his children Ao’nung and Tsireya will you and your sibling their ways. The boy Ao’nung had obvious protest but was shut down by his father and the Tsireya just smiled and showed your family around. The next few weeks we’re going to be hard.

He Who Envies Others Does Not Obtain Peace Of Mind

Summary: Lo’ak gains a crush on reader then gets jealous of Neteyam for no reason

Masterlist

Future warrior of the Metkayina clan and Tsireya’s best friend, [Name], has had her eye on Lo’ak since the Sully family arrived to the Metkayina clan. It wasn’t something [Name] could explain. From the moment she walked out of the water with her best friend, she felt what she could only describe as a pull to him. As if an invisible vine tied them together.

This sudden infatuation was short lived as she learned that [Name] and Tsireya would have to teach the new comers the ways of the Metkayina clan. Although the pull never went away.

Teaching the Sully kids started off simple, teach them to swim. All that sounded simple, and it was as they watched them jump in, enjoying the water around them. It only seem to become a problem when they tried to follow the Metkayina kids, and they quickly found that these forest Na’vi could not hold their breath as long as they could. While Tsireya was swimming to the surface to ask what is wrong, [Name] signed to her friends asking why they had to teach them and not just Tsireya. To which they all but laughed and shrugged their shoulders, making their way back to the surface.

At the surface, she found Lo’ak make eye contact with her immediately. Stuck in a state of irrational panic, [Name] angrily told the Sully family that they must learn to hold their breath for longer if they want to survive in the Metkayina clan, before diving back down in the water.

Confused and slightly shocked, like the rest of the Sully kids, Lo’ak started:

“What was that all about?” His question was directed towards Tsireya but he would welcome anybody’s answer.

“I’m not really sure, I have never seen her act like this. Yes she has been cold, but never this cold, and never when she is not hunting.” Tsireya tried to explain, confused and concerned herself.

All sitting in a circle, the Metkayina kids as well as the Sully kids were practicing breathing. Tsireya, having convinced [Name] to join them, was quite happy to lead the breathing.

“You have to breathe from the stomach.” Tsireya explained, closing her eyes and breathing in slowly.

“And stay calm while you hold it. Your body will use more air if you don’t stay calm.” [Name] continued, trying to stay calm herself while she slowly exhaled with the rest of the group, her heart beating rapidly.

Tsireya smiled at [Name]’s participation, to which [Name] smiles back softly, before closing her eyes once again to breathe in deeply.

[Name] could hear struggled breathing from beside her, as she opened her eyes she found Lo’ak breathing at a different pace the rest.

“No, breathe in from here.” [Name] held her hand over his stomach, watching as he attempted to breathe like her instruction.

As he continued to struggle, [Name] turned to face him, holding his shoulder as well. Watching him closely, she felt his heart beat pace only rise.

“You have to slow your heart down, it is beating too fast.” [Name] instructed, hoping to take her own advice and slow her racing heart.

Hearing chuckles from the group, and watching the look Neteyam gave Aonung, he let out a soft huff.

“Sorry.” Lo’ak spoke quickly, trying hard to avoid [Name]’s eyes.

“Breathe from you stomach, here.” [Name] watching him, as Lo’ak looks away again, she rolls her eyes.

As Lo’ak tries again, he breathes in deeply holding it for a moment before letting it out slowly. As he opens his eyes, he finds [Name] smiling at him with pride in her eyes.

“See? You’re getting it! Now just keep doing that.” [Name] beamed brightly, and all Lo’ak could do was look in to her eyes and smile back.

As [Name] sat on rocks, watching Neteyam, Tuk, Kiri, and Tsireya play in the water, Lo’ak approaches her carefully.

“[Name]?” Lo’ak called hesitantly.

[Name] looked behind her, seeing Lo’ak, and sighing softly before smiling again. She could still feel that pull from when they first met but she no longer feels the weird panic and anger that she felt before. These feelings were so new to her, too new to understand. Her nervous energy and random anger was much unlike her. Although she was not all sunshine and smiles like her best friend was, she also wasn’t a sea of ice.

“Hey, Lo’ak. Do you need something?” She asked much kinder than Lo’ak was expecting.

Her voice kind and soft, much like Tsireya. She must have quite the influence, and [Name] would agree.

“Actually, I do. I was wondering if you could continue helping me with my breathing?” Lo’ak asking timidly, hoping for that same kindness.

[Name] smiled, “Of course, I can help you. Sit here.” [Name] pointed next to her, watching as Lo’ak sat down.

And as the afternoon went by, that is exactly what [Name] did. Sit on the rocks and teach Lo’ak to breathe so he may survive in the Metkayina clan. It started out the same as the last time she tried to teach him, but Lo’ak quickly picked up slow breathing technique by slow breathing technique. [Name] was happy how much he was learning from her and Lo’ak was just happy to feel her hands on him. [Name]’s hand on his stomach felt electrifying, as if with her hands on him, he could do anything.

As Lo’ak was walking towards where he knew he would find Tuk, he heard splashes from the water not far from him. When he looked over to find the origin of the splashing, he found his brother running up to [Name]. As he got to her, Lo’ak could see their mouths moving signalling their conversing. As much as Lo’ak wish he could hear what they were saying, he couldn’t hear from where he stood. He could feeling his heart start to speed up and all of his muscles started to tighten, resulting in the curling of his fist.

It’s probably nothing.

He tried to tell himself, but his mind would not let go of what he sees before him.

Neteyam? Nah, nothing will happen.

He told himself again, starting to walk in the direction he was before, coincidentally the same direction that would lead him past where [Name] and Neteyam were talking. He was just about to mentally brush off his angry when he heard [Name] laugh loudly at something Neteyam said. That’s when he decide he had had enough. Curling his fists once again, he ran all the way to where he was going. Mentally cursing Neteyam for doing this to him.

Lo’ak was in his head for the next few days. Even when hanging out with his family he was thinking how he had already lost [Name] to Neteyam. How he takes everything from Lo’ak. Neteyam was the golden child while he was just the runt. Never really enough.

The only thing that could really get him out of his head was [Name].

Spending time with her felt like a dream to Lo’ak. She helped him practice his breathing, showed him the waters and helped him as he learned to ride his own Ilu. Which he had a few issues with.

Lo’ak tried to spend 100% of his time with [Name], which at times proved to be difficult. Every moment with [Name] was like a breath of fresh air, which he knows much of after the many attempts at diving in the water to catch a shell.

So when they were sitting on the beach together, watching the waves, Lo’ak was more than upset when Neteyam asked to join them. He rolled his eyes at his ask and huffed as [Name] politely agreed. After a beat, Lo’ak groaned and stood up, stomping off in a huff.

“What was that about?” [Name] asked, confused and a bit upset.

“I’m not sure, I was just about to tell him that our parents are upset with him. But he has been kind of moody lately. Have you noticed?”

“Not really, but I guess looking back he has been a little?” [Name] replied thoughtfully, thinking back at all of the time Neteyam was there and Lo’ak was upset.

“Now that I think about it, he has been a little upset, but it is only when you are around.” [Name] continued.

“I wondered if that might be it. Well, thank you for clearing that up. I am going to save his ass from my parents and then ask him what is up. Later.” Neteyam waved at [Name] before walking off.

[Name] was left there to think of what was upsetting Lo’ak and why he stomped off so fast.

“You have been acting weird. What is going on?” Neteyam asked incredulously as Lo’ak scuffed at his question.

“No weirder than usual.” Lo’ak muttered, reflecting on how he has felt as an outcast and apart from his brother.

“What?” Neteyam asked, hoping he would repeat what he thought Lo’ak had said.

“What do you want from me Neteyam? Being the golden boy not enough for you anymore? Here to pick on me some more?”

“What are you talking about? I am trying to ask what is going on with you. Why are so-”

“How does it feel getting everything? Why do you take everything from me?” Lo’ak questions angrily, cutting Neteyam off.

“What is wrong with you!?” Neteyam quickly follows.

“No! What is wrong with you! You take all of the attention and have alway been the golden boy but now you have taken [Name] too?! You take everything important to me?” Lo’ak practically screams, having to take a breath after.

Lo’ak catches his breath only to find his brother laughing hysterically, the shock from Lo’ak’s outburst having apparently worn off. Lo’ak’s eyebrow’s furrowed, if they could even furrow any more, his face beating red.

“What!?” Lo’ak yelled. Only to be met with more of Neteyam’s hysterical laughter as he fell to the ground rolling around.

“What!? What!? What are you laughing at!? Just tell me what you are laughing at!!!” Lo’ak demanded, fuming.

“It’s just- It’s just-” Neteyam tried, struggling to speak between his laughter. “It’s just that you think I am trying to get with- with-” Neteyam continued before roaring in laughter once again.

“Would you just spit it out already!” Lo’ak demanded once again.

“You think I am trying to get with [Name] because you’re jealous!” Neteyam laughed again, finding this whole situation beyond humorous.

“You mean you’re not trying to get with her?” Lo’ak asked utterly confused but his face burning for a new reason.

“Of course not! Never mind the fact I’m not interested, she has been eyeing you since we got here!” Neteyam grinned so wide his cheeks hurt.

“She has not!” Lo’ak was quick to ‘correct’.

“She totally has! Are you kidding me? And why do you think she takes so much time to teach you everything?”

“Because I am a slow learner?” Lo’ak asked, becoming more and more confused by the second.

“Because she like you and likes spending time with your dumbass!”

“Oh.” Lo’ak spoke looking down, thinking of all of the time they had spent together.

“Yeah ‘Oh’. Now get your ass over to her and tell her how you feel!” Neteyam pushed him in the direction of [Name]’s family’s marui.

After a short walk, Lo’ak found himself on the beach [Name] and him were last sitting at, where [Name] was still sitting. Lo’ak would have thought she would have left by now but there she was, hands supporting her as she gazed at the sky. Lo’ak took a deep breath, remembering all of the things that she had taught him, before making his way over to her.

“Mind if I join you?” Lo’ak asked, trying not to alarm [Name]. This reminded him of the first time they spent time together, alone, and the many times that came after that. He smiled to himself.

“Lo’ak, you’re back! Of course you can join me.” [Name] beamed, standing up to met him.

Lo’ak loved that smile. And he especially loved causing that smile.

“I’m sorry I stomped off, that was childish of me.” Lo’ak looked at the ground.

“Neteyam mentioned that you have been upset, why is that?” [Name] asked gently, as if he would stomp off again.

“I was mad at him for taking everything from me,” Lo’ak started. “He is the golden boy of our family that can do no wrong.” Lo’ak mocked and [Name] giggled softly.

“I just wish that my parents understood that…” Lo’ak looked down again.

[Name] took a step towards him, bringing her hand to his shoulder. To which, Lo’ak looked up and into [Name]’s eyes. Jake leans back in the grass and from a lying position, reaches out and strokes my hand. "How does Tsutey deal with that?" Rolling my eyes, I also fall backwards. "Of course he's sad but I'm the next contender for the mate's pact so he's not completely lost." He sits up confused. "what do you mean by mate pact?"

I stare at him in disbelief. "That with Neytiri and Tsutey wasn't out of love, for Eywa's sake. But father is getting weaker and weaker, it's important to take care of successors." Jake looks at me like I've gone completely insane. "You don't want that, I mean... do you like Tsutey?"Amusingly I pushed him away. "Absolutely not, but how seldom does that happen?" Still disbelief in his eyes. "what is wrong?" he looks like he saw something die before his eyes. and with that „something“ the shimmer in them died too.

"I'm just saying you don't want him so why don't you just drop it and refuse." Now the question had become a personal attack. "Jake...a whole clan, a family, a people cling to it. How selfish I would be if I renounced the goodwill of my people." And when I said those words, I knew what he meant. My face sagged no matter how hard I try to turn my face to stone.

Jake sighs heavily. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to attack you."

I say nothing and just turn back to Polyphemus."Let's just enjoy this okay?" Jake nods and we sit cross-legged next to each other. But no matter how hard he tries I can see the disappointment on his face.

We stay like this for a while . Both sit on this field and are silent while the Poyphemus passes us. After much deliberation, I just grab Jake's hand and without a word he locks our fingers together.

"If I could, I would have chosen differently." I whisper. Jake's gaze is still in the sky. "Who would you have chosen." he asks. I turn my head towards him, looking into his eyes while he still holds my hand.

The moment feels honest, sincere, real. I think so far nothing has cost me more willpower than the second Jake kissed me. heyyy, could you maybe write a fic with the entire sully family x reader, where she is part of the metkayina clan, and after they get to stay she has to introduce the family to everything (instead of tsireya and aonung). They get closer and she’s a good friend to them.

she hadn’t meant for it to go the way that it did. everytime she replayed the scene in her head, tears pricked [y/n]’s eyes. what could’ve happened—what should’ve happened. she continued to thank eywa that both her and tuk made it out alive and safe.

it’d been that morning when the youngest sully bounded up to [y/n] in the middle of her chores. “[y/n]!” she cried, joy evident in her voice.

[y/n] could not help but grin, looking up from the net that she was busy detangling. “good morning, darling tuk!”

the sully family had been in awa’atlu for several months at that point, but [y/n] had been friends with them since they first arrived. [y/n] was a former warrior of the clan, despite how young she was. she was only twenty years old, but after a former event resulting in a very severe injury, [y/n] was quickly deferred to a safer alternative that still allowed her to help her clan.

after the incident, [y/n] found herself working with the children. it was her job to begin teaching them the ways of the water, which included breathing, swimming, and free-diving. when they got to the age of learning to hunt, they were passed along to another teacher.

that was how [y/n] first met the sullys.

after tsireya and ao’nung toured the village with them, the future tsahik introduced them to [y/n]. “she will be helping us teach you our ways.”

and so she did. although her schedule was far too busy to always attend the lessons, [y/n] was there as much as she possibly could, rewarding each and every child on their progress.

[y/n] was also introduced to neytiri and jake sully by tonowari. the ole’eyktan was quick to tell them of her honorable history, especially regarding the injury. “[y/n]!” she yelled once again, stopping in front of the metkayina girl. “oh my eywa, [y/n],” tuk panted, hands clasping her knees as she caught her breath.

“it is so nice out today!”

“we should go out,” tuk decided, crossing her arms in front of her chest as she gave [y/n] a look.

tuk nodded vigorously. “yes, i do! kiri is busy with mother, lo’ak wants nothing to do with me, and neteyam refuses to take me out ever.” once she finished her short rant, she stuck out her bottom lip and widened her eyes. “please, [y/n]?”

“tuk,” [y/n] groaned, covering her eyes with her hands. “that’s unfair. you’re too adorable to refuse!”

tuk grinned pridefully. “i know, isn’t it awesome?”

just like that, the two soon found themselves sharing a ride on an ilu through the reef. [y/n] smiled at the way tuk’s arms flew outwards, allowing her to reach out and feel the tingling sensation as they passed through the thick waters.

the coral was gorgeous that morning thanks to the rays of sunlight that beamed through the surface, lighting up the seafloor. “look,” [y/n] signed to tuk, pointing out a crab that waddled across the ground.

a chuckle left the sully’s lips as indicated by the small trail of bubbles that floated above them. [y/n] grinned at the way tuk raised her hand, waving at the small creature that strolled across the ocean floor.

of course, it could only stay perfect for so long, and unfortunately, the perfection did not last long enough.

[y/n] immediately felt something was wrong when the water turned the slightest bit colder. although the sully girl did not notice, the chills rising on [y/n]’s arms sent her panicking. when her ilu rumbled in dismay beneath them, she knew they needed to turn around.

“it is time to go back,” [y/n] signed quickly, the annoyance being difficult to ignore from behind her. before tuk could sign anything back, the older girl rose her hand and gestured for her to stay quiet.

just as she directed the ilu to turn around, [y/n] noticed how quiet it was. for once in her life, [y/n] could hear nothing. it was just them and the ocean.

the fish were gone, fleeing into their homes. the crab on the ground was quickly sheltered by his hole in the sand. not even the water swayed all that much. a chill settled deep in [y/n]’s bones.

she panicked at the feeling of tuk’s arms wrapping around her waist, the sully’s small face pressed into her back. it was when she felt tuk’s hand hit her that she was prompted to look up from where she observed the quiet reef.

[y/n] nearly choked on the salty water when the sight of large animal. it loomed overtop of them, a shadow cast on top of them from his mere size. it’s flippers were large, but not nearly as large as his teeth were.

although it was only split seconds, it felt like a billion years until either of them made their first move.

when the creature attempted to close the distance between them, [y/n] sent the ilu flying beneath the beast. she swallowed a yelp at the feeling of the water by her ear, his mouth nearly having chomped it off had they not moved so fast.

unfortunately, the monster was as smart as it was quick, and it was soon adjusting. with one last look over her shoulder, [y/n] sent the ilu shooting forward.

tuk’s arms clasped [y/n] desperately, her eyes hidden from reality due to the fear it brought. at that, [y/n] urged the creature they rode on to swim even faster.

as much as the ilu tried, it was nothing compared to the fins that carried the monster behind them. once [y/n] felt it catching up, the only thing she could think to do was unattached her queue from the ilu and grab tuk. as they rolled off the side, [y/n] choked back a scream at the sight of her ilu being swallowed by the beast in one quick gulp.

blood blossomed in the water. tuk stared aimlessly, her cries not going unheard. [y/n] grabbed her face, pressing a hand overtop her mouth. not only could the beast hear, but tuk was losing breath.

“hush, darling,” she signed, eyes attentive to their surroundings. “you must be quiet. it will all be okay, do you understand?” tuk only nodded.

they hid behind a large rock-like structure, and [y/n] carefully peeked out to catch an understanding of where they stood versus the beast. she instantly rolled back around, back pressed against the textured piece of nature. he was close. dangerously so.

and so, [y/n] began to hatch a plan. as she would swim out, tuk would start swimming towards the surface. [y/n] was a trained warrior and swimmer, she could outswim the monster if she used the coral to her advantage. tuk just had to get back to civilization.

just as she turned to tell tuk of her plan, it appeared that it was far too late. she only whimpered once she felt the cold temperatures of the shade once again.

[y/n] grabbed tuk’s hand, praying to eywa that tuk would stay strong and stay smart. at least one of them needed to make it out alive, and it had to be tuk.

with one last squeeze of her hand, [y/n] stood up and locked eyes with the creature. behind her back, her fingers moved gracefully to communicate to tuk.

once she was done, she brought her hands above her head, making herself seem bigger as a small attempt, although it was more of a signal to tuk. with her arms up, tuk launched herself out and up, and the beast launched itself directly at [y/n].

she dodged almost perfectly if it weren’t for the spikes that took over his skin. she hissed as her skin caught one of the thorns, flesh tearing quickly.

[y/n]’s plan was, unfortunately, not at all fool-proof. dread settled in her gut as the beast’s eyes broke away from her and instead watched the distance thanks to the sight of a swimming na’vi.

“no!” she tried to scream, although the words came out extremely muffled because of the quick water.

and so, she let every primal instinct she ever had take over.

[y/n]’d never swam so fast in her life. she let the water take over, let eywa bless her and her senses. for the first time in a couple years, she could not feel the injury of her leg. it was just her and the sea.

her eyes did not leave tuk once, not even when the swam side-by-side with the monster. not even when he nearly ate her. she was far too quick for him.

they were throat-to-throat, and yet, at the last second, [y/n] sped ahead of the beast and launched herself on top of tuk. she cradled the girl as the water seemed to burst in every direction.

and then she blacked out.

when [y/n] awoke, she found herself in the comforts of her own home. the sun blinked through the marui, a feeling that caused [y/n] to smile.

that smile was quickly gone once she remembered exactly what happened before she’d passed out.

when [y/n] shot up, tsireya was quick to attend her side. “[y/n]!” she calmed, voice quiet and gentle. “[y/n], it is okay. you are okay! you are safe.”

“tuk is alive and well. she’s been awake for an hour or so, waiting for you.” tsireya’s smile faded. “but.. the sullys are keeping her from visiting.

the olo’eyktan’s family tried to visit her often, but she was cut off. even when they did somehow make it inside, she was dry, often not even answering them. it was as if she pretended they didn’t exist.

[y/n] didn’t look so good either. she was leaving her own health as the last of her priorities, as if they didn’t matter compared to the fact that they didn’t trust her.

it was only thanks to the trustful word of tsireya that the sullys finally had clear enough minds to come and visit.

it was a quiet night, the only sound heard being the crash of the waves against the shore. [y/n] was busy poking at the food ao’nung delivered just moments before. she couldn’t find an appetite to even attempt eating the food, despite what she promised him.

at the sound of two bodies walking into her pod, she jumped onto her feet. ever since the incident, she was on extremely high alert. even when she slept at night, all she saw were the jaws of that monster… and then the way that the sea exploded around her.

time froze when she saw the guilty faces of jake and neytiri.

“[y/n],” jake’s voice was quiet, broken. almost as bad as she felt. “[y/n], we are so sorry.”

[y/n] only blinked. “why?” she swallowed, putting her food down behind her before taking a step towards the couple. “why in the world should you be sorry? it was only like i risked my life for your daughter and you didn’t even have the kindness to come and talk to me.” she shook her head. “i had to hear it from tsireya that you hated me. you didn’t give me a chance.”

neytiri sniffled, eyes full of guilty tears. “we understand. and that is why we are here.” she attempts to step towards [y/n], but retracts when she feels the younger girl tense. with a quick sigh, she continues. “we were worried. worried about our baby. all we knew is that you washed up together, and tuk was hurt because of something out on the reef. you were the only one with her. and we just… we thought, since you knew the reef so well, there was no way you could have run into such trouble.”

[y/n] paused before shaking her head. “i don’t know what that monster was,” she whispered. “i have never seen such a ghastly thing in my life.”

jake nods. “we know. we know that now, and we should have never doubted you. for that, we are so extremely sorry, and we are so extremely thankful that you kept tuk alive.”

[y/n] paused. after the years she spent grappling for approval from everybody on the island, after gaining it through risking her life, this was the first time that she truly felt fulfillment.

when tears welled up in her eyes, she allowed the parents to hug her. at the warmth of their arms around her trembling body, she whispered, “i would do it again.”

The sons of Pandora, the Tulkun returned from their long cycle of migration.

-THEY RETURNED, OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS RETURNED-someone ran outside the store, you heard that someone blew the alarm horn and a great noise began to be noticed outside. When you came out you met your brother Aonung quite happy, something unusual.

-T'ayla, the tulkun returned, dad wants you to look for the boys of the forest

-He really said that I should do it?

-That doesn't matter, go to look for them-most likely that task wasn't yours, but you couldn't say that you didn't feel like doing it

You were excited, you shared several tattoos on your body with the marks that your spiritual sister had on the skin, it had been a long time since you had seen Seren. You had a lot to tell him. Maybe about a special person you wanted me to meet.

It didn't take you long to find the pair of older brothers from the visiting family. Neteyam and Lo'ak did not go unnoticed among your people, they were quite confused by the repentant actions of the locals, standing on the edge of the beach where the small waves reached the soles of their feet before retreating.

-T'ayla, it's good that you're here, an explanation would help us- the younger brother spoke, but your eyes had lost themselves in Neteyam's smile when he saw you

You took Neteyam's hand to start walking into the sea making sure his brother went after you. Once completely submerged, you let go of the older hand and invited them to swim and follow you. It didn't take long for you to hear the sounds of large animals underwater, also, the tide began to feel more agitated in front.

From one moment to the next, only Neteyam was behind you, it was when you could see your sister in the distance, Seren, what surprised you was to see a small calf taking refuge under her fin, you hurried your step.

-It's been a long time- you told him with some hand signals

-I am happy to see you, you have grown, I bring good news with me- Neteyam did not understand the sounds that came from the great animal, but he had an idea of what you were saying to the tulkun with your hands.

It wasn't until you entered the water and swam next to Seren, while you ran your hands over her rough skin and saw her gloomy and lifeless eyes, you began to cry inconsolably, your eyes seemed like the same marine currents of the ocean, you couldn't stop crying and screaming whint nothing else to do, you felt for a moment that you could no longer breathe and that you were going to drown in the water. Your vision had become cloudy and you felt that you could not continue swimming, you were sinking and running out of air and strength to reach the surface. At that moment you thought you were ready to follow your sister wherever her to go, your vision began to get smaller until you saw nothing.

You woke up with the feeling of the sand on her back and behind your head, you could hear a voice calling you from far, far away.

Then you opened your eyes and felt like vomiting, an unavoidable and painful cough invaded your throat and your eyes began to hurt once more, a great jet of water came out of your throat allowing you to breathe again.

When your yanto was calmer, you separated enough from Neteyam to look into his eyes, your swollen eyes looked at him strongly and determinedly

-There is only one way to solve it, they murdered my family, I will kill each one of them

A chill ran through Neteyam's spine, from the top of his neck to the tip of his tail and the soles of his feet. It took less than a second for him to decide that he would help you with your purpose and that he would give his life to protect your angry eyes and determined in search of revenge.

Part2 pt3

Your clan lives in the deepest depths of the ocean. -an ocean based clan

I had seen a drawing of Na’vi ocean based form a while ago and got some major inspiration:) I lost the page though so if you see this and know what I’m talking about then you kind of get the idea

When your fellow brother, Tonowari had sent a signal to talk, you had not expected for him to be accompanied by Jake Sully and Neytiri. It seems they did not expect for you to be, you in all your oceanic glory. Your people were different, living in the depths of the ocean had altered your genetics greatly to where your skin were a a few shades lighter than the Omatikayan. Your bottom halves while in the ocean were ‘fish’ like, often being referred to as mermaids. You had similar tribal tattoos to the Metikaya along the lengths of your legs and face. They called your people the Tìkakrel Turku, the Blind Spear for your eyes were near white and your people of great huntsman, in and out of the water.

Wading in the shallows of the shore, you and a few of your people had arrived just after eclipse to play it safe. Slowly you broke through the surface and as you all ascended from the water your bottom halves changing to legs, a few metikayin offering wraps to cover up. Jake and Neytiri had not been expecting for you to do all…that, more so Jake than Neytiri as she had grown up with hearing stories of your people.

“Olo’eykte Y/n.” Tonowari and his mate, Ronal greeted as you reciprocating the gesture keeping an expressionless exterior. Doing the same with Jake and Neytiri before being lead to a marui to discuss. For a moment nobody said anything, they were having a silent conversation between one another as you observed them all, you didn’t mean for your gaze to be so intimidating as it rested. Eventually, you broke the ice having given them enough time to speak up first but they didn’t so you did it.

“Well…” For some reason this startled them and you couldn’t help it but it caused the slightest twitch of your ear.

“You are familiar of the war with sky people , yes?” You nod as you could practically feel the scars littering your back and chest sear. You turn to Jake as he takes the lead in what has been happening and why they were in the Metikaya Clan, they had not been there long only a few weeks so far.

“Hm and what does this have to do with me and my people?” They were once again glancing at one another before Neytiri and Ronal had enough and took the floor.

“They seek alliances-”

“-we ask for your alliance and security of our family.” Your ears twitched at the women, especially Neytiri finding it hard to believe that she, a mighty warrior, you had also heard of would come to you for this. It just goes to show that nobody is invisible or far from the great mother after all you guessed.

“We will work for it as well, just like we do with the Metikaya. We just…our family and these people, all of our peoples in this time need to have one another’s backs. The sky people are evolving along with us and the only way we can survive this is by uniting.” You admired the speech from Jake Sully finding it comical to believe he is the great Toruk Mokto as he could have fooled you for a poet.

But still the message is there and it made you think, turning to your accompanying members for further input. This put Jake and Neytiri on edge as they saw a few head shaking, they held each other’s hands tightly in anticipation. Eventually you return to the group and stalled setting your gaze amongst each and everyone of them as you spoke.

“You ask for unity, we can do that, yes. Security of your family, we can provide it. But listen and hear me when I say this…” Emphasizing the ‘hear’ leaning towards them, gesturing between one another.

“If it comes down to you or my people, I must put us first do we understand? Because at the end of the day it is what we all must and will do, yes?” Tilting your head as they all took a second to take in what you said and in their minds knowing you speak truth.

“Good. We will have lessons after your day lessons with the Metikaya.” They agreed even though you weren’t really asking it was more of a statement but with that you ended the meeting and retreated back into the ocean.

“Wow. They are-”

“Intense, intimidating, stern…”Tonowari lists off to Jake as they all rise to leave the marui.

“Yes.” Patting his shoulder he smiles nodding.

“It is the very reason she is Ao’nungs second guardian.” They leave with that and break off from the two leaving Jake and Neytiri taken aback.

Can I request for a Sully family x moth reader, that takes place in the water clan (I forgot the name of it) and the moth gets pushed around by ao’nung and his friends, but it goes to far and reader gets knocked into deep water? (You can decide how the rest plays out.)

Sully family x moth reader

Genre: fluff/angst

Warnings: Bullying,Drowning,Swearing

A/n here, this takes place when the sully family stays in the metkayina clan. Alright to clear any confusion on why moth reader won't swim, let's pretend that without the abyss mask the skykid is unable to swim or breathe underwater. If they are underwater their flame/warmth will begin to disappear or furnished. Also note that my Grammer is very bad, Alright let's begin the story

" Lo'ak have you seen (___)? " Neteyam questioned lo'ak who was talking to Tsiyera.

" No, I thought (___) was with you. "

Neteyam was starting to worry, the little moth wasn't used to being alone and the fact no one has seen them after their lessons makes it even worse. All three of them started to head to their marui hoping to find the lost moth there, unfortunately the moth wasn't there but Lo'ak and Neteyam's parents were there.

" Dad have you seen (___)? We haven't seen them after our breathing lessons " neteyam asked hoping they saw (___) somewhere.

" no-did you lose them? You're supposed to look after them. " Jake said staring at his older son, Neteyam only scratched his head from how frustrated he is for not paying attention to the moth.

" You search around, we'll try to search around the village " Jake said standing up and went outside to search for (___), Neteyam searched around with no luck so did the other two. Lo'ak noticed how Neteyam looked more and more frustrated.

" Hey, it's not your fault we'll find them eventually. They shouldn't have gone far so we'll find them sooner or later don't worry too much. " Lo'ak said trying to calm down Neteyam.

" I know I know but what if they come across aonung. " Neteyam exclaimed, lo'ak nodded agreeing with his statement. They heard a faint laughter not so far from them and decided to check it out.

" awhh, is the little freak scared of the water. Y'know if you're afraid of it why don't you just go back to where you came from, oh right...You're not even from here, you barely even looked like us! " Aonung said pushing the moth around and his friends following suit.

" what? Are you gonna cry, go on cry for no one. " The Rotxo wannabe said laughing, when (___) tries to stand up aonung and his friends keeps pushing that is until they accidentally pushed them in the water. All of them laughed thinking it wasn't serious "about time they went in the water" aonung said his friends continued to laugh.

Neteyam and the others approaching them a bit confused "aonung have you seen (___)? We haven't seen them after our breathing lessons" Tsiyera asked aonung who made a questioning look "yeah I saw them just now." He said, the answer made neteyam quickly ask "really, where are they now?!" He quickly asked considering something might have happened to them since (___) ran into aonung and his friends. "Calm down, just gave them a push of luck and pushed them into the water so they'll finally swim." That statement alone made neteyam furious, he quickly pushed aonung away and dove in the water aonung looking at him irritatingly and said "jeez what's his problem."

Lo'ak punched him in the face and yelled "They can't swim you dumbass!" Now that, that sentence made Tsiyera extremely worried for them. Tsiyera has grown fond of the little moth and saw them as their little sibling, the sound of water splashing and rapid breathing quickly took their attention away. Neteyam quickly took their masked off not without lo'ak covering them so they can't see their face and performed CPR. Soon after (___) started to cough up water, neteyam put their mask on and carried them to their marui (the hut thingy) while (___) was unconscious.

Tonowari apologized for aonung's action and aonung had a quick scolding, Tsiyera stayed in the Sully's pod to also apologize for her brother's actions. "I am deeply sorry for what my brother did, is there anything I can do for them?" Tsiyera apologize but kiri denied the request "it's okay, you shouldn't be apologizing for what your brother did. It's supposed to be him apologizing." Kiri said, Tuk was holding (___)'s hand quitely sulking while she waits for her friend to wake up.

"I'll go now, I do hope (___) gets better" Tsiyera said waving goodbye, Jake was scolding neteyam and lo'ak for not looking after (___) and neytiri was caressing (___) face. "Ma Jake, stop scolding your sons it is not their fault for what happened. Let us be thankful that (___) is alive" neytiri scolded him, (___) was stirring awake because of the noise and Tuk was the first one to notice "(___) you're awake!" Tuk said hugging (___) side.

"kiddo, are you doing alright?" Jake asked being responded with a light nod, kiri hugged them and said "don't scare us like that, we thought you were dead" she said the little moth giggling at the choice of words. "Alright, save the scolding aside for later. Let us eat." Neytiri said helping (___) fully sit up.

"(___) you are grounded until you learn how to swim" Jake said making (___) honk loudly which made the family laugh.

Neytiri could feel the warm sand beneath her feet as she walked along the beach. She watched the sun rise over the sea and since it was early in the morning, not many na'vi were awake.

Her ear twitched when she heard some movements in the sea. She quickly turned her head to check if there isn't any "danger" in the water, like some sea animal that the metkayina people had.

But instead of some sea animal she saw you. Eldest daughter of Tonowari and Ronal, young, metkayina girl that was swimming in the water on her ilu. You had few small shells braided in your hair with few thin dreadlocks, the rest of your hair flew freely. But your hair wasn't the first thing that caught her attention, it was your eyes.

Your ocean blue eyes. All the ocean na'vi had blue eyes but yours were different. There was something about them.

"Neytiri." You said while you did the 'i see you' gesture as a greeting. You knew who she was, because you were there when she and others arrived. She caught your eye since she was the only one who didn't want to learn yours clan ways.

She didn't want to be in the sea nor try to learn how to ride an ilu nor diving, nothing. That was the reason why she captured your interest.

"y/n." She said as she did the 'i see you' gesture back. You thought you should be the one teaching her your ways, I mean Tonowari is teaching Jake, Tsireya and Ao'nung are teaching the kids and Ronal is pregnant so she has a lot other responsibilities...

So she's kinda left to you, you thought. You smiled and started talking again. "What are you doing here?" You asked calmly with a small smile on your face as you swam around on the water surface.

Neytiri looked around before answering you. "No practical reason." She answered to you. To be honest she wasn't really sure why she went here. Something told her to come here and just walk around. Some feeling told her.

"Why do I never see you in the water?" You asked another question as you got off of your ilu and stood in the water that reached your waist.

"I have no need to go in the water." Neytiri answered to your question with stoic face. She looked at your ilu for a moment before returning her gaze back at you.

"But you will spend some time here? It's easier to learn our ways then use yours..." You said calmly as you tilted your head at her. Your ilu snuggled into your leg under the water so you stroke it's head while looking at her.

Neytiri narrowed her eyes but after few second went back to her stoic face. "That's right but like I said I have no need to be in the water." She said and her eyes never left yours.

You smirked, rolled your eyes and went out of water to her. After few second you gently took her hand and went back to the sea with her right behind you. Neytiri's legs betrayed her and started walking after you without her even noticing.

There was something fascinating about you, something that made it impossible to look away from you. And there was also the same feeling from the early morning. The one that told her to go here at the first place.

Your ilu swam around the two of you as you walked more deep in the water, that now was touching your cleavage and Neytiri's chest, because of the height difference between you and Neytiri.

"I have something to show you." You said calmly as you sat on your ilu offering her your hand once again. Neytiri hesitated from the start but gave in and sat behind you on your ilu.

She placed her hands on your waist and hold tight. It was like she was claiming you, the grip was somehow intimate but you wasn't paying attention to it. Instead you was focused on the whole ride.

As you two ride around your mother, Ronal, saw you. She saw Neytiri who was sitting right behind you, she smirked for herself a bit. Even tho many would say that she is crazy, she was your mother and a tsahik... she knew something that you and Neytiri, anyone except her, would even think of.

You took Neytiri to one of the farthest caves. To a special one, that no one new of, only you.

Neytiri gasped for air as you went on the surface one more time. As she was catching her breath, she looked around on the most beautiful cave she ever saw.

Back in the forest there were many beautiful caves but this one was another type of beauty. "Come on." You said as you got off your ilu and went to the surface.

Neytiri was right behind you as you said that. As you reached the sand, you sat down and let out a heavy sigh. You loved it here, it was so peaceful in here. Neytiri sat down next to you while she was looking at you... well almost staring at you.

She didn't mean to but her curiosity remained the same that she had when she was younger. She looked at your skin that was much lighter then her own, like turquoise. Your eyes ocean blue while hers were yellow. Your hair were different from hers, your top, accessories, everything.

"Why did you take me here?" She spoke after a while. She was still looking at you with her hands resting on the sand. You turned your head at her and smiled.

"Well this place always brings me into a good mood um- otherwise I don't know why." You said as you shrugged your shoulders.

To be honest you just wanted to spend some time with her, you couldn't place your finger on it.

You looked into her eye before smiling at her, and she returned the favour. She wasn't sure why she feels so safe around you, it was like she already trusts you with her life, but that was impossible, both of you thought.

"It is very peaceful in here, thank you." She said with a small smile. Neytiri didn't know what came into her but she wrapped her arms around your waist and brought you closer to her.

You quickly turned your head to look at her and she, without care in the world just look in front of her on the sea without moving a muscle or her hand from your waist.

Neytiri wasn't sure why was she feeling so safe and calm. Why did she even put her arm on your waist on the first place, but it felt so natural, so right for her, she couldn't help herself. Also you were like 10 years younger then her.

As you saw Neytiri's calm face, you relaxed and let your head fall on her shoulder. This was kind of intimate position, so it was forbidden for you two to even do... but there was still no kissing, that was good, right?

But no one was around, no one could see you, no one could hear you, it was only you and her at this moment. You could do whatever you wanted and Neytiri wanted to enjoy every second of this.

She was confused and her head was filled with running thoughts but they were somehow quiet. She was calm, she felt safe and like a cherry on top this felt natural to her.

It felt like she spend her whole life with you, like you two were meant to be. It never felt like this with Jake.. only with you.

Good day to you our fantastic writer! I have a request for thee!

May I request a soon to be parents Spider x reader? Perhaps spider and his wife visit the Sully's at their new home within the Metkayina clan. The reader is still heavily pregnant with only two more month's to go, the Sully's beside jake who's not so surprised along with Tonowari's fam are pretty surprised how different human pregnancy is too Na'vi pregnancy. Like no wonder spider is so anxious and protective!

I basically had read you one shot headcanon about the human and Na'vi mothers and had a craving for husband spider fluffy and just protective sully/tonowari family interactions!

The island was bursting with busy life. Everyone doing their tasks with great glee, and many making sure everything was set. Why? Word spread of spider, the human na’vi is coming with his mate. Who is heavy with child. The metkayina went out of their way to prepare a pod for them and materials needed for the mate. The sully family were quite stunned and surprised how the clan was willing to do so much for a human. Mostly neytiri. But they appreciate it nonetheless.

So when the day spider arrived on his ikran with his mate, how she looked was a surprise indeed, but curiosity bloomed on the na’vi. Ronal was quick to welcome them to their home. And even quick to lead the couple to their pod and settle in. Tonowari knew that Ronal just wanted to be near the human woman as she wants to observe her pregnancy and take note of things.

“Come on! Come on!” Tuk leads the way as she spots spider’s ikran. Unable to hold it in, she jumps excitedly. Her family is close behind her, also excited to see spider. The ikran lands and off comes spider, waving at the family. The metkayina close, all huddling close to see the new arrivals.

Carefully coming down was a human woman. While she took her time, everyone couldnt help but stare at her stomach. She is very well pregnant. Neytiri quickly approaches them followed by lo’ak and kiri.

“Careful,” Neytiri says softly, grabbing the woman's hands onto hers, balancing her stance. “Oh stop. I'm not made of glass, I'm fine” the woman gently scolds. Light hearted laughter was heard as they made it to the massive group. Jake welcomed spider with a big hug and a rough pat on the back, but being gentle in welcoming the woman.

Tonowari and Ronal walked up to the human couple. Greeting each other in the na’vi customary, spider grins widely “it is good to see you again tonowari, ronal. This is my mate, samyam”. Samyam smiled shyly but was excited to meet the reef na’vi.

“Welcome, I hope the travel went well” Tonowari says first. Spider nods, “it took us longer but it was needed. I don't want anything to stress samyam”.

“Come, you must be tired from your journey” Ronal speaks, guiding the couple to the pod that was waiting for them.

Every step, every glance, move, speak, ronal and tonowari observed samyam carefully. And the human woman clearly noticed that.

“Is something wrong…?” she nervously asks. The leaders shook their heads. “Sorry, it is just…this is our first time seeing a pregnant human” ronal says.

Samyam gently rubs her belly, “it is alright. I was told from spider that you were pregnant when you met him. I too tend to be curious about na'vi pregnancies. I wonder if we are different in that matter or similar”.

“Exactly, how far along are you if you don't mind me asking” Tonowari asks. Quietly counting, samyam replies “7 months. A full term pregnancy is 9 months”. Ronal slightly widens her eyes at the information.

“Then there is much to prepare for your child's arrival” she says. This slightly confused samyam.

“What? But we are only staying here for a week at most-”

“No, you are staying here until your child arrives. You are in a fragil state where anything can happen. I will speak with spider, you are not leaving here for the next two months and that is final”

When Samyam told spider she is with child, like a banshee, spider couldn't help but share the news with literally the whole Omatikaya clan. And since day 1, spider has been nothing but an overprotective partner. Of course Samyam loves it, it shows how much spider is looking forward to being a dad and how serious he is taking it.

But it is also a bit annoying.

Not only spider being super protective, but mo’at, norm, and almost everyone was very protective. Mo’at prepared special teas to help with the pregnancy symptoms, na’vi mothers offered tips and gave her meals that would boost her health. And she was never alone, not for a second. There is someone always with her.

When her belly began to show, as if things weren't annoying already, it tripled. Spider didn't like samyam going deep into the forest, or areas that can be dangerous. Always in the clan village and always in places where there is a lot of people.

Of course samyam did ask to lower down the protectiveness but spider won't budge. As the days go by, slowly samyam is losing her tolerance of how much she is being babied. She understands but god damn! A little room to breathe?

Well more like a big space to breathe.

Spider suggested he and samyam go visit the sully family who live with the metkayina clan. Spider told her what the people there were like and how during his time there, the tsahik, Ronal, was pregnant and gave birth to her lovely child. It made Samyam curious and really eager to see the island. So they planned it out, and were extra careful.

It took a little over a week since they took many breaks for the sake of samyam, but she wanted to get there sooner.

And no sooner as now as when arriving to the island, was she in awe. Everything was beautiful and breathtaking. Now if only the na’vi can stop being just as protective as the omatikaya.

“Spider my love?”

“Yes sevin?”

“Don't you think this is too much?”

“No, too little in fact”

At their new pod, spider wasted no time to make it as comfortable as he possibly can. With the help of Ronal and tonowari, they added soft material in the area where spider and samyam sleep. Adding more nutritional foods in her diet, comfortable clothing, no sharp items near her, and most of all, once again never alone for a single second.

The sully children and the reef children were always with samyam if the adults or spider couldn't be around. Tsireya and kiri being the most curious of the bunch, always having a hand on the belly which samyam didn't mind. Tuk constantly asks questions of what it is like to be pregnant and never misses a beat when the baby kicks.

“I hope its a girl” Tuk says as she lays her ear against samyam’s belly to hear the baby. The human woman strokes the child’s hair, her motherly instincts already in full swing. “Why a girl tuk?” Samyam asks. In a cute puff of the cheeks, tuk explains herself in a serious [adorable] way.

“We have too many boys! We need more girls!”

Everyone around tuk chuckled lightly at her words.

“But tuk, the tsahik already has a girl who likes to follow you around, surely that is enough for girls?” neteyam asks. But tuk stubbornly shakes her head, letting her beads hit her forehead.

“No, more girls”

Samyam couldn't help but laugh out loud. Wrapping her arms around tuk and giving the child a little pinch on the cheek. “Girl or boy, I would love my baby no matter what. And I hope you will tuk, you and everyone”

“Finally I can have you all to myself” spider says with a silly grin on his face as cuddles with the love of his life. Warmth and calmness was in their little home. Samyam leaned back on his broad chest to hear his heartbeat. Calm and steady. “The kids are far better company than your” she teases. Spider lets out a not so surprised scoff.

“They are not even kids, they are literally around the same age as us” spider states. But samyam only humms. “In my eyes, they are kids. I don't care if they are older than me or younger, let my mother filter do its thing”.

“Alright alright if you say so” spider replies.

Gently he places his hand on her belly to feel their child. And as if by instinct, the child kicks at the feel of his hand. Spider couldn't help but smile bigger. “Our child misses you” Samyam whispers, her eyes drooping a bit.

“And I miss them”

Their baby has become a bit more active. As each day they reach closer to due date, it is as though the baby knows. And wants to make itself known.

“Hey spider?”

“Yeah?”

“I want meat”

As days pass into weeks, Ronal takes close observation to samyam, every day Giving the human woman regular checkups and would often ask questions out of mere curiosity. And what she was able to conclude so far is like a na’vi pregnancy, samyam would have odd cravings. Foods that are not so good for humans as spider would confirm, yet samyam would ask demand to eat foods that are not consumable. Yet spider and at times, ao’nung would hunt and give her the foods she craves.

And by Eywa’s miracle, samyam eats the food with no problem.

Another thing is the other pregnant na’vi would say they have an odd need to be around samyam and vice versa. The mothers needing to be together as company is a nice and delightful sight to see. Ronal noticed that samyam would get annoyed if too many would be over protective of her. Yet she is more at ease with the other pregnant females.

And tonowari is no different. When spider is busy or the sully family are occupied, he would watch over samyam at a distance. Making sure there is no threat in her path, a little pebble? Out of the way! A broken seashell? Begone! But of course in a low profile or the human would catch on.

Tonowari is also happy that spider would seek him out for advice on what to do or what to prepare. And tonowari being a proud father, would happily help.

“Damn it….!!” Samyam curses under her tongue as she struggles to get up.

Neytiri sees it and helps her stand up. Giving the human woman comforting words, she observes the belly. The due date is reaching very soon, and clearly the 9 months is almost complete.

“Samyam, I think it is best if you stay in a resting spot until the baby arrives” Neytiri suggest. This earns her a groan of misery from the human woman.

“But neytiri, I'm tired of just staying put. Spider has me under house arrest! I need to move, and staying here won't-uuughh!!” samyam stops herself as she releases another painful groan. The weight of her stomach was starting to become more unbearable.

“See? You are in no condition to leave. And spider is right to have you ‘under house arrest’ as you phrase it. This is a serious matter, samyam. If there is something you need you can tell me or the others. We will gladly get it for you, "Neytiri says.

Helping samyam back to her comfortable spot, she couldn't help but sigh.

“How did you do neytiri? Baring three children?” Samyam asks.

Thinking back to those neytiri hums for a moment before replying. “My pregnancy with neteyam was not an easy one. He was my first. I did hunt during my pregnancy but as neteyam grew, it was getting more difficult to do my tasks. Until Jake told me to stop. Stubborn he was but I listened. Lo’ak and tuk were more easy”.

Samyam listens and looks down at her belly. First time pregnancies are never easy as she heard from neytiri and other na’vi mothers.

“I worry though. I dont wish to tell spider since he is already protective as he is but I worry something will go wrong…that the birth won't go right” samyam confesses. Neytiri gets closer to her and gently kisses her forehead. “

“Yes, it may be scary, but it is natural. It means your motherly instincts are there. But I and Ronal will make sure you are well when the time comes” she promises.

“Is that a tulkun?” Samyam asks to spider as he carves a wooden figure. He nods as he has his full concentration on his work. “Yeah, lo’ak helped me with some important details to make it good. Want to make enough when the baby arrives”.

Samyam smiles warmly, he really is excited.

And so was someone else.

The sound of water leaking was heard, spider quickly turned around to see Samyam smile, but in a painful way.

“Go get Ronal before I awaken the village”

In the midst of the night, the village awoke by the loud screams of samyam. Her lungs reaching full capacity.

Spider was quick to get ronal and tsireya and have them into his pod, screaming that the baby was coming.

With the help of neytiri, kiri and tuk, ronal and tsireya got to work.

Spider had to be outside of the pod for the women to do their duties. So he stayed in the sully’s pod. There, jake, tonowari and the boys were there to comfort him. It did help, but only a bit. Hearing samyam scream in utter pain made him anxious and deeply scared. So many things could happen and he wasn't there to support her.

“Bro, its going to be ok. They know what they are doing” Lo’ak says, patting spider in the back. Tonowari nods and adds in, “Ronal has assisted in many births. She and my daughter know what they are doing”.

“Yes but I just can't help it!” Spider screeches.

Jake walked over to him and gave a tight squeeze on his shoulder. “Hey, I get it spider. This is the first time for literally anything and everything. But the best thing you can do is just hope to Eywa that she and the baby will pull through”.

With easing words to spider, he calmed down more.

But for long hours, until the sun appeared in the horizon did the screaming stopped.

The baby arrived.

“Come spider, meet your child” Tsireya calls for him with a wide happy smile. Grabbing his hand she leads him back to his pod. And inside was a lovely sight.

On the comfortable bed layed samyam, sweaty yes but smiling with happy tears. And she was holding something small in her arms.

“Congrats spider, you are a dad to a healthy baby” kiri complements as she and the ladies leave to let the family have some alone time.

Getting closer, spider lays beside his beloved to see their new found family member. Swaddled in a blanket was the most beautiful baby spider has ever seen. Small but pretty pink skin tone, round cheeks and a button nose.

“H-hi baby….Im…Im your dad” spider stutters out, emotional tears running down his face. Samyam gently hands her child to him. “So perfect…” she praises in a tired voice. They share a deep kiss in gratitude. Looking down at their child with pure love.

“What should we name our child…?” Samyam asks. They thought of many names in the past months but none stuck out. Until now. One suddenly emerged in spider’s mind.

“Pon….our child’s name will be pon” he says with determination. Samyam repeats the name, liking how it sounds. So, gently stroking her baby’s head, and with a warm smile, brighter than the rising sun, she welcomes her baby.

“Welcome Pon, to your new world”
