Applying this concept to the world of PMD yields some hilarious implications. Especially when you apply it in a post-credits PMD2 AU where the Future Trio have set up shop in the present, and we get to see Dusknoir have a crisis when he realizes he’s been hunting down a tween and a college student for the past who-knows-how-long.

Threw together a design for Eos (Solar/Helios' Sun) and spoilers he does get fixed in my AU. Helios' dimension having characters with unique eyes has been a trend, so we got pink/warmer colors to match the dawn theme with their name. May need to change up Selene some more to match

Wait I just thought of it.

Imagine au where after merlin confesses to his magic, at the end he was somehow able to save Arthur. They make it back to Camelot but there is some awkwardness between the two, like they've forgotten how to act around eo.

After years of hiding, Merlin is hesitant to show Arthur his magic, to make himself vulnerable to his King in that way. And Arthur takes longer to believe merlin's stories, there are more questions and double takes than there used to be.

Merlin tries to return the sigil one day, thinking that he doesn't deserve to have it since he doesn't have Arthur's full and unwavering trust any more (his words not the king's).

Arthur presses it back into his palms, "It's a gift, Merlin. You keep those."

So it’s been a while since I’ve posted about EO but I’m finally back on track

So part 3 of EO I guess, mostly a Tina and Gaige redesign

Before going any further, I’d like to say that I haven’t played GLAT and that I will make it important in the au once I’ve played it so Gaige isn’t fully developped yet. Please do not spoil the DLC

So anyways

Details on Gaige: She’s a member of B team. She’s basically Tina’s big sister because famblies go brrr. In one of her adventures, she found some kind of eridian tech, which she combined to her robotic arm. So now she can basically use eridium to make her robotic arm have some crazy abilities. (Her b team logo is inspired by @scrap-brainzone and so is Angel’s neck scar)

Oh and two things:

1- Yeah this is a shock scar on Gaige’s right arm, sorry if it’s unclear

2- Yeah Tina has a mullet. “But why Mars?” Because I saw it in a dream.

more lil tidbits about this part:

- Hamon is one of the few forms of magic that can be learned by any creature

- Dio is supposed to be more gold than yellow but it’s kinda hard to portray that with horse fur :p

- this and part 2 take place quite a bit before Luna’s return, so most of these characters know about only Celestia when it comes to alicorns (Starry is more knowledgeable about Luna’s existence, being an archeology buff and all)

- Dio is racist and considers himself, a unicorn, superior to pegasi and earth ponies. he’s especially spiteful towards his father for keeping them in poverty, since he believes he naturally belongs at the top of society. it’s also a huge blow to his pride to be taken in by pegasus aristocrats and often takes his frustrations out on Starry

- Dio (correctly) recognizes that Hamon users’ abilities evoke that of Celestia’s (both are related to sunlight), which he takes as a personal challenge to his own “royal” status

- his ultimate goal is to take the throne for himself and be ruler (and maybe keep Equestria in eternal night) but barely makes it to the throne room before being defeated (Celly is aware about the situation as it’s happening but i feel weird having canon mlp characters play an active role in here lmao)
