Mae is a merchant and has romantic feelings for Phare who feels guilty for not being so nice to him at times.

Rubie is a newbie in exploration so she follows Puffin, Ru and Allie's footsteps.

Those three aren't the brightest ones out here..

Also Mae is very kind and optimistic. Always encouraging Rubie to explore with the others.

While Phare cannot bear their presence at all. He does try to teach Ru some manners when she occasionally visits him.

Anyhoo, meet my The Present is a Gift: Paradox Edition AU where Twig finds her human self displaced and wandering the present all alone and decides to take her in, because housing sources of angst in her own home is all she knows how to do.

The gang calls human Twig Bud, for anyone curious. She doesn’t know Twig is her from later down an irreparably messed-up timeline. All she knows is Grovyle is cool and Dusknoir is scary and Twig is weird and awkward.

People liked the first SV PMD AU post and I got inspired

Arven’s parents are powerful explorers, but they’ve been gone for quite a while, leaving Arven to figure things out himself. Luckily, a Mabosstiff picked him up while he was wandering around in an dungeon and took him under his wing— little does Arven know his new chill uncle is a retired outlaw. The two eventually go to Area Zero to find Arven’s parents, but Mabosstiff is injured by a strange feral Pokémon (a paradox). The main story follows Arven’s attempt to collect the strange Herba Mystica guarded by titan Pokémon on the bottom floor of powerful dungeons in the hopes of healing his adoptive uncle. Arven can’t tell the guild or risk his uncle getting arrested, so he recruits the protagonist instead
