Tickletober Day 2: Accidental
Tumblr media
A/N: HELLO TUMBLR TK COMMUNITY!! This is my first fic I'm posting on here, with tickletober giving me the motivation I needed to do so!! I've always been lurking in the community ever since I joined it, but I finally thought that it was time to put myself out there! I'm currently OBSESSED with ATSV, so I did a thing with Hobie and Miles bc I love how they interact in the movie! Anyways, I won't bore you with a super long authors note that most people probably won't read, so I hope you enjoy the fic!
Tw: swearing, mention of blood/bleeding out, tickles
——————————————————————————
Hobie slumped onto the couch of his living room, clutching his waist in pain. He had been sent out on a mission, and had got beaten up.. pretty badly to say the least. Despite the insistence that he was fine and 'I've survived worse, I'll be alright', it didn't stop Miles Morales from checking in on him to examine and.. try to heal his wounds.
"Mate.. I'm fine, really." Hobie said, wincing as Miles examined the wound.
"Hobie, you're literally bleeding out." Miles replied, a hint of sass in his voice. Hobie just shrugged, surprising Miles with how nonchalant he was, but he did inhale sharply between his teeth as Miles wrapped up the wound in gauze. Hobie let out a shaky sigh, turning his head away from Miles. Hobie didn't like it when his friends took care of him like this, feeling like he could take care of himself due to being the oldest in the group. He felt it was childish of him to ask his younger friends for help, when he knew that they had to deal with the same, if not worse, pain.
Hobie's body flashed a few colours, the colour around his waist being relatively normal so Miles could see and tend to the wound better. The rest of his body was a muted gray, small bits of a blood red colour appearing on his body like paint splatters whenever Hobie would wince from the pain, the colours eventually fizzling back out into the gray. To anyone who didn't know Hobie, it was an oddly pretty spectacle (despite it being at Hobie's expense), but to those closest to him, it was relatively normal, so it didn't distract Miles from the task at hand; which was making sure Hobie didn't bleed out and die.
After the bulk of the treatment was finished, Hobie melted into his couch, feeling a bit more relaxed after the more painful part of the process was dealt with. Now, Miles was just examining his torso, making sure there were no other major wounds. The feeling was relatively calming, feeling like a sort of massage. Miles' fingers were quick to examine Hobie's torso, now examining his ribs to see if any of the bones had cracked. What Miles didn't expect was the sharp intake of breath that came from the punk, the spot that Miles touched flashing to a more neon shade of yellow for a brief moment before returning back to normal.
"O-oh, sorry- did I hurt you..?" Miles asked, a bit of shame in his tone. Miles looked at Hobie with a worried expression, afraid he might've caused more damage.
The usually cool and collected Hobie stammered for a moment before shaking his head, making up an excuse from the top of his head. "Nah, you're fine mate. Just wasn't really expecting it 's all." Hobie replied, that yellow colour on his ribs returning as if it was disagreeing with what Hobie said.
Miles noticed the flash of yellow, not exactly knowing what it meant. He knew that if Hobie's body was blue, it meant he was sad, pink meant platonic love (his body would be a brighter red if he was around someone he loved romantically), and many, many other different colours and meanings that Miles had memorized due to knowing Hobie for a good while. This yellow was new, something that Miles had never seen before. Miles thought he might've been reading to much into this, so he just gave Hobie a small hum in response and continued his examination.
Hobie's body stiffened slightly as Miles went back to examining his ribs, feeling an unbearably ticklish feeling every single time Miles' fingers would lightly press against the bones, checking for any painful reaction. The yellow colour only being on Hobie's ribs definitely eluded to.. something, Miles wasn't sure, but the colour made Miles somewhat worried. Miles withdrew his hands, a small frown on his face as he looked at his friend with concern.
"Hobie, if it hurts you need to tell me. I don't wanna make it worse." Miles fretted, his tone being concerned and a bit scared for his friend. Hobie felt a little bad that his stifled ticklish reactions made Miles worried, but.. it was still extremely embarrassing to him, so Hobie shook his head, dismissing Miles' worries.
"I'm fine. Don't worry 'bout it. You worry to much bruv." Hobie chuckled, his teeth clicking against his tongue piercing out of slight nervousness. Miles raised an eyebrow, inching his hand closer to Hobie's ribs, but not touching them just yet. Hobie's reaction immediately became apparent, the punk flinching away from Miles' hand, and the yellow colour on his body spreading slightly. Miles was confused. If it didn't hurt, what was the issue? Miles thought of himself in Hobie's situation for a moment, being injured and having a friend of his checking for injuries. He thought of somebody's hand pressing against his ribs, slightly pressing against the bone to see if they were hurt. Miles' eyes immediately widened at the realization, a small smirk appearing on his face.
"Oi, what're you bein' all smug about?" Hobie questioned, his body stiffening slightly as he pointed an accusing finger at Miles. Hobie figured that Miles had found out why he was reacting in the way that he did, and as a result of this, a small bit of red crept up onto his face, and the yellow along his ribs spread and became a bit brighter.
Miles couldn't stop himself from giggling, finding the situation incredibly amusing. "Oh, it's nothing.." Miles quickly darted a hand to Hobie's ribs before pulling it away just as fast, grinning as Hobie's body jumped away from it and an essence of a screech escaped his lips.
"Y-you wouldn't do.. that to me! I'm injured man, you'll kill me!" Hobie argued, narrowing his eyes as he found it a bit harder to keep his cool.
"Relax! I'll be gentle!" Miles said, his giggles getting louder as his hand made contact with Hobie's torso. Miles smirked at the way Hobie's body tensed up, and the slightest hint of a squeak made it's way past Hobie's closed lips. Miles slowly, and I mean slowly dragged his fingers along Hobie's ribs, the punk inhaling sharply as a result.
"Miles! Fuck- stop that!" Hobie yelped, the tiniest giggle slipping through his gritted teeth. Hobie's pleas were only met with a huge grin from Miles, who immediately capitalized off of that small giggle by pressing his fingers against Hobie's ribs and vibrating his fingers rapidly. In Miles' eyes, this was gentle, as he knew Hobie had a hell of a lot of resistance when it came to touch. Wether it be pain, or in this case, tickles.
"MAHAHAHAILES-! STAHAHAHAHAHAP- NAHAHAHAHAHAHA FAHAHAHAHACK-!" Hobie screeched, his attempt to squeal out a plea immediately replaced with more bouts of loud laughter when Miles decided it would be a good idea to use a small amount of his venom power to shock Hobie, the unbearably ticklish feeling traveling across Hobie's entire torso. Miles giggled and let up, allowing Hobie to actually breath. Miles snuck an extra pinch to his ribs, grinning at the small yelp that came out of the punk.
"Alright, I'm done. Don't want you getting hurt.. more than you already are.. you good?" Miles asked, Hobie responding with a shaky thumbs up. "Y-yeah.. 'm fine mate.. holy shihihit." Hobie chuckled, the tingly feeling from the venom still present. Throughout the entire ordeal, Hobie's body changed colour completely, going from gray with those hints of yellow (which Miles was now suspecting ment Hobie was embarrassed about something), to a full blown pink, with occasional flashes of the familiar yellow colour here and there.
Miles chuckled and stood up, going to the kitchen to get Hobie some water. Miles quickly returned, offering the water to Hobie, who drank it so fast you'd be convinced there was nothing in the cup in the first place.
"Thanks Miles.. you know, for tendin' to my injuries and whatever. 'S nice of you." Hobie said, sighing as he let out one final giggle. Miles smiled, loving the fact that he left a positive impact on Hobie's well-being. "Well, I feel like it's kind of.. in my nature to care about the people I love, so you're welcome." Miles replied, his smile growing a bit wider.
"Hey, you wanna watch a movie?" Miles suddenly asked, looking at Hobie.
"Sure, what're you thinkin' of?"
And so Hobie and Miles lazily draped their bodies over Hobie's semi-comfortable couch, watching a movie on some probably illegal website. Hobie couldn't shake the small smile that was on his face, the knowing that Miles, and all of his friends for that matter, would be there for him making him feel all warm inside. Miles caught a quick glimpse of Hobie, seeing that the pink colour on Hobie's body got a bit brighter.
And personally, Miles wouldn't have it any other way.

Headcanons on Pav 💗✨?
EEEEE! THANK YOU EMERYY! I HOPE YOU ENJOY!! 💖💞💖💞 (Pfft can you tell who my new favorite Spider-Man is!-)
ANYWAYS! I figured I'd split these up! I'm going to start with Lee and Ler Headcannons and then go to regular ones, for everyone requested so if you don't want to read about tickles I will make a sepreate one for regular headcannons another time! :]
I hope you all enjoy!
-K :]
____________~☆°♡°☆°♡°☆~______________
Tumblr media
Man's is a solid 50/50 split for Lee and Ler!
Lee:
-His sides are his worst spot, but they have to be squeezed for any reaction
-Light tickles do nothing there
-Light tickles in general don't give you much of a reaction form Pav, you'll get some giggles but nothing too much
-His laugh is super high pitched and childlike
-He squeals too, especially if you catch him off gaurd, which is hard to do with the spidey sense but it's possible!
-He doesn't do much to stop it, he'll just lay there and let himself laugh because he likes being happy and laughing and having fun
-He is unbothered by the word 'Tickle' he can say it and hear it and there's no reaction from him
-COMPLIMENTS HOWEVER! He's gone!
-He's not used to compliments so if you say things like "I love your laugh" or "Your giggles and reactions are so cute Pavi" he's now lost himself to laughter he can't function anymore it's the best!
-He regrets making his costume without shoes, especially after Hobie gets to him, but he just hasn't changed it and doesn't plan on it ever
-He can handle it for a good while but when he calls for mercy you should stop immediately, he can't go too far past his limits especially if there's compliments involved but thankfully all of his friends and family understand and listen to him no matter what
-Doesn't care too much about being tickled in public but will probably get embarrassed regardless and try to stop whoever is doing it (thankfully that doesn't happen much, just a few pokes here and there which he can handle and enjoys)
-Doesn't really get into Lee or Ler moods often because he's always ready for it but the first time he had a major lee mood he could barely get out of bed without giggling and had to call Hobie for help, he was so red in the face, Hobie never let's him forget that day
-if he's ever causing too much trouble at HQ or something, Hobie will silently remind him of that day and his mood and energy changes immediately to wanting tickles again and he's no longer causing anyone playful trouble
-Everyone's so confused of what Hobie said to him that made him change so quickly but he won't reveal anything it's 'their little secret' as Hobie likes to call it!
-Pav switches between just straight up asking for it to provoking it depends on the day and how big the wanting is for tickles
-I feel like he has ticklish knees, like the tops of his knees, his kneecaps, yeah
-He can't handle the 'itsy bitsy spider' nursery rhyme, that's the one thing he can't handle, everything else is light work but that! He's a giggle storm
-He's just the sweetest little man you've ever seeenn!! 🥹☺️
Ler:
-Oh boy 🫣
-Do not let his smile, charm, or sweet personality fool you this man doesn't know the meaning of the word mercy
-He's a hypocrite in that sense /lh, he'll beg for mercy from other's and they will respect it but when he's got a lee in his hands it's like that word doesn't even exist /pos /lh
-You either gotta be really strong and pry him off or get someone else to get him away
-He can't help it, he loves making people laugh and smile and it warms his heart from all of the reactions given from any person he tickles he gets carried away and never wants it to end! (My babyyyyy!)
-He is the tease master (next to Miles)
-He will use anything and everything to get his lee blushing and having fun
-Baby talk, compliments, the word itself, tickly type noises, all of it and more! if there's a tease out there he's going to use it
-He likes to test them all out the first time he tickles someone to see what gets them the most, once he figures that out, that's all he's doing from here on out and he remembers too, he's great at adapting
-He's very good at reading people so if you're in a lee mood he'll know, from a mile away, no matter how good you are at hiding it, he knows, he'll always know
-He has the teasy voice 😤👏 he's so good at it too! The closest example I can give to the people who don't know what the teasy voice is is when he said "New guy must be in love with youuu"
-I can not express enough how good he is at teasing, if his lee wasn't laughing from his tickles I promise you they'd be speechless
-He's just so good at tickling someone until their nothing but giggles, all of their thoughts out the window and stuff, He's just so good at tickles in general
-He's not one for using his yoyo or webs during tickle sessions, mainly because he is stronger anyway, but regardless he will if someone asks, it's just not his favorite thing, he likes them to be free but again he adapts no matter what, he's like liquid, he'll adjust to the container he's in (a science thing, I hope someone understood what I meant lmaoo!)
-If you are dating, it is going to be even worse, you're his favorite person, he is going to want to tickle you and have tickle fights so much because he knows that it makes you happy and it makes him happy too!
-but oh my god Pavi! He will just tell you how beautiful/handsome/stunning you look with such seriousness while tickling you so you know how incredible you are even while you're at his ticklish mercy he loves you so much!
-I love him so much oh my God!
-He's just the best!
-If I missed anything I will come back to these and add it! But AHHH!

I hope you all enjoyedd! More on the way soon!! :]

Panda's Notes: It's done!! The third of what was only three ideas I had for Across the Spider-Verse! ...I have at least three more ideas now. >w< I had so much fun with this one, so I hope you guys like it too. [Ao3] || [Commissions] || [Ko-fi]
“’Sup, losers?” Hobie threw up a peace sign to the small group sitting at a table in the HQ cafeteria. “Aye, Mayday.”
The trio, plus Mayday, kind of just…stared. Mayday laughed, and the others were struggling not to smile.
“Okay, what are you two doing?” Gwen finally spoke up, motioning curiously at this little arrangement. Only at the mention of there being two of them did Miles start snickering. He slightly adjusted his hold on Hobie’s legs, pacing in a small circle and looking particularly proud of himself. Hobie had one arm hooked around his shoulders, his chin occasionally resting on his head.
“Don’t really understand the question, Gwenny.” Hobie shrugged, draping his free arm lazily over Miles’ shoulder. “Ain’t doin’ much.”
“Miles, what are you doing?” She tried again, barely managing to stifle her giggles.
Miles shrugged, chuckling a bit himself. “I dunno; it was his idea.” The others around the table nodded, and Hobie stuck his tongue out at them. “He’s not even heavy; his legs are just really long.”
“Not my fault you’re still a munchkin.” He poked the side of Miles’ head, smirking as he huffed.
“Well, it’s not my fault you look like a palm tree.”
“Oi—”
Miles spun casually, and the others giggled. “Gotta be honest; I feel like I could have picked him up before the spider strength. Like, have you guys even seen this guy eat anything? I have literally never seen him eat food.”
“Alright, you’re takin’ the Mick, I’m out.” Hobie shook his head and leaned back. He pressed his palms to the floor, heaving Miles up off the ground with his legs with hardly any effort.
“H-Hobie!” Miles yelped, flailing for a moment before sticking his hands to Hobie’s boots and pushing himself up. The table laughed and applauded softly at their double handstand, and Hobie chuckled, reaching to adjust his guitar before turning to face them.
“You two are something else.” Peter chuckled, watching Gwen crouch on the floor to get a picture of them.
“Always.” Hobie smirked, pulling a face as the camera flashed and smirking when Gwen socked his arm. “Oi, shorty, you want to switch?”
“What? And have you perched on my legs? Not likely.” Miles called.
Hobie snorted, starting to shift as if he were going to throw him off. “Nah, bruv, I’ll carry you. Go for a walkabout and all.”
Miles’ eyes had lit up, but he quickly acted as if they hadn’t. “Seriously?” He struggled for balance before pushing himself away as Hobie rolled out from under him.
“Never serious, mate.” He said with a sneer, hopping to his feet and starting to walk. “But I’ll still do it.”
“Uh, Miles, maybe you should—”
Miles turned to see Gwen shoving at Pavitr’s face, and she motioned him to follow after Hobie with a bright grin.
Hobie had glanced back with a noticeable smirk, schooling his expression as Miles turned to him again. Pavitr bat Gwen’s hand away once they were definitely out of earshot.
“Why didn’t you let me warn him?” He asked, smiling bemusedly.
She just shrugged, already snickering to herself. “Nobody warned me!”
------------------
Hobie had walked Miles to one of the nearby basic training rooms: not as big as, say, the rooms for swinging practice, or even the hallways just outside. But it was quiet, and Hobie took a deep breath before stretching a bit.
“So, you’re really going to do this, huh?” Miles asked with a skeptical grin. “You’re not too cool to carry me around?”
“I do what I want, mate; that’s what makes me cool.” Hobie joked, shoving lightly at Miles’ face. “’Less you don’t want to all of a sudden. Ain’t one or the other for me.”
He smirked as Miles swatted his arm away, watching him fidget around with his sleeves and hood for a second. He brought his own hands up, finding the buckle on his guitar strap to loosen it. He didn’t move much or comment as Miles approached him, holding his guitar slightly to one side while the teen crawled up onto his back.
“You sure we’re okay like this?” Miles referred mostly to Hobie’s guitar, grabbing ahold of it himself after hooking his legs around Hobie’s waist.
“S’alright, bruv.” He murmured as he tightened the strap and glanced back just in case. “Besides, you won’t catch me dead without my axe on me.” Finally, he lowered his arms, slipping them under Miles’ knees when he relaxed and pacing in a small circle. “Good?”
Miles chuckled and nodded. “I’m fine.”
“Alright, then, let’s see about that little tour, yeah?”
As he turned to walk toward the door, he suddenly pitched to one side; his knee bending dramatically as he took the step.
“Hobie!” Miles yelped and wrapped his arms around Hobie’s shoulders, surprised giggles catching his voice before he could stop them.
“Yeah, mate?” He pushed himself sharply to stand up straight, bouncing his passenger slightly before leaning the opposite way for another sideways step.
“What are you doing?!” Miles tried to ask, his voice jumping up when Hobie stumbled backwards as if he was falling.
He stopped instantly, probably just sticking his feet down, and glanced sideways to hear him better. “Hm? Nothin here. What do you think I’m doing?” Miles could hear the smirk on his face as Hobie casually shuffled back and forth, and he tried not to laugh again as he rolled his eyes.
“You’re not walking straight.” He said as shortly as possible, holding on a bit tighter as Hobie spun on one foot for a few seconds.
“Heh.” Hobie snickered, glancing down before moving backwards again. “Haven’t done anything straight in my life, brother.”
Miles laughed this time, giving Hobie a light smack on his shoulder. “That’s a terrible way to come out to someone.”
“Yeah? What would you know about it?”
Miles almost hesitated, but he leaned and whispered into Hobie’s ear.
“No shit?” He laughed lightly, spinning around again before continuing his backwards slide. “You are aces, my guy. One of a kind.”
Miles grinned softly, his gaze trailing down to the floor. “Wait, you can moonwalk?!”
“Oh, is it hard?” Hobie scoffed teasingly. “What do ya think, eh? We good to walkabout?”
“I am barely trusting you to walk right now.” Miles admitted, and Hobie proved his point by walking sideways again. “You’re being weird!” He laughed.
Hobie stopped abruptly, jostling his passenger. “Wanna be in on a little secret, mate?” He turned his head, not quite enough for Miles to see his face, though.
Miles couldn’t help being wary, and he shifted his legs to keep hold of Hobie’s waist. “If you have one to tell me.”
Hobie chuckled, shaking his head. “See, thing is: I cannot fucking stand backseat drivers.” He sighed, maintaining a tone as if he were serious. “So, if you want to start harpin’ on, I just might do something drastic.”
He didn’t give Miles a chance to ask questions, shifting his hands under both of his knees and hooking his fingers in as best he could. He smirked at the sudden cackles that shot past his ears, and Miles shoved at his shoulder and leaned back against Hobie’s guitar, barely getting any leeway from the guitar strap.
“Hobie!” He cried through his laughter. “Asshole, cut it out!” He tried to kick and flailed against his back.
“You gonna shut your South back there? Let me drive in peace?” Hobie gripped his knees tight when Miles tried to lift his legs out, pressing his thumbs against the sides of his kneecaps.
“Okay, okay, I get it!” Miles squealed, gripping Hobie’s vest as he stopped.
“Good. Let’s roll.” Hobie lurched forward a bit suddenly, chuckling as Miles squeaked. “Want me to run? Make up lost time?”
“Absolutely not.”
“You wanna?”
“No.”
“I’m hearing yes.”
“Don’t you—” Miles yelped as he ran for maybe three steps.
Hobie laughed tauntingly, letting Miles give him light punches on his shoulders. “Alright, alright. For real.” The door opened automatically as they approached, and Hobie strode confidently into the hallway traffic.
------------------
“So, mate, what was all that rubbish about me being easy to carry, eh?” Hobie spoke after a minute of wandering. Only a few of the Peters that they passed by even noticed Miles attached to him, let alone commented. Miles mostly hid his face against the back of his neck, sneaking little waves at anyone who managed to notice him. “Like you aren’t acting a proper rucksack?”
“Can you maybe speak less British?” Miles asked playfully, stifling a squeak when Hobie tickled his legs again.
He snorted, moving a little faster and jostling Miles more aggressively as if he were a backpack. “Oh, you’re fuckin’ hilarious aren’t ya?”
Miles gripped onto Hobie’s vest again, trying to steady himself and muffling giggles against his shoulder. “Kidding! I was kidding; stop…” He whispered through snickers. Hobie flinched a little as Miles’ breath passed his neck, and he turned his head slightly when Miles went quiet.
“You try anything, and I’ll end you.” He said, unable to keep up a stern façade with his voice. He did sneak a warning little scratch under one of his knees again though, just in case. He snickered along with Miles’ giggles, hooking his arms around his legs to slip his hands into his pockets.
“Spider-Punk.” Both of them looked forward to find Miguel approaching, and Hobie kept walking as the man spoke. “Have you seen Morales?”
“Not lately.” Hobie said curtly, speeding up just a little bit.
Miguel sighed, his eyes on some projection from his watch. “Well, when you do see him, tell him I—” He had turned to call after him, heaving a sigh when he realized. “Really?”
“What?” Hobie turned to face him, walking backwards a few steps with Miles snickering nervously. “Ain’t seen him; what of it?” He struggled to keep the grin off his face, shrugging casually and turning back to continue.
“Miles!” Miguel called, already sounding irritated as he started to follow them.
“Hobie, run.” Miles whispered, his nervous giggles turning mischievous.
“Hm? What~? You wanna run now, mate?”
“C’mon, Hobie, please?” He glanced back to see Miguel glaring at them.
“I dunno; seems like he really wants to talk to you.” Hobie actually started to slow his pace.
“Hobie!”
Hobie’s Spider Sense had started tingling as soon as Miguel got all pissy, and the second he reached for Miles’ shoulder, Hobie broke into a sprint. Most of the other Spider People’s senses warned them in time, but he had no problem shouldering past whoever he had to. Miles laughed brightly, hooking his arms across Hobie’s neck and squeezing his legs tight around his waist.
“Hobart Brown!” Miguel shouted after them, and they heard footsteps gaining on them.
“Oh, shit.” Hobie laughed a bit himself. “You need to hold on, mate.” He shifted mid-step, springing up and throwing them both over the guardrail. He hooked one arm tight around Miles’ leg as they started to freefall, taking a necessary second to flip Miguel off with his free hand before firing his web-shooter at the underside of the catwalk they had just abandoned. He pulled them up to stick underneath it, and he quickly crawled to the nearest wall. He pulled them both back up the open tower with another shot of web, sticking himself as best he could into a corner between two of the crisscrossing walkways.
They hunkered down and caught their breath, watching Miguel from essentially three stories away. His gaze whipped back and forth over both sides of the catwalk, seemingly expecting them to just pop out from the middle, and Hobie’s hands might have clenched against the wall. Miles was clinging tightly onto his back, but he was shaking like a leaf and barely keeping it together.
“Stop laughing.” Hobie whispered through half-gritted teeth, lightly punching back at his passenger’s side. “Shut the fuck up, right now.” He had to sound demanding, because he was definitely going to start laughing if Miles didn’t stop.
“I’m sorry!” Miles whispered back, a snort slipping out of him.
Finally, Miguel heaved a tired sigh and kept walking, and Hobie visibly relaxed as he went into one of the enclosed corridors.
And finally, they laughed. They still tried to keep quiet about it, but the tension drained away as Hobie climbed over onto the nearest walkway.
“Oh my God, we’re in so much trouble…” Miles whined as laughter faded out of his voice.
“Heh, hell yeah.” Hobie chuckled. “Might want to ditch the watches before Blue gets on our ass. If it helps at all, I still haven’t seen ya.”
“Pfft. For some reason, I don’t think he’s going to buy tha—”
“What~? Miles, where are you~?” Hobie called to no one in particular, hardly even bothering to raise his voice.
“Wait, what?!” Miles giggled in disbelief. “What are you—?” He squeaked as Hobie turned suddenly.
“Ah, shit, I’ve lost track of him.” He twisted the other way, letting go of Miles’ legs without warning and resting his hands on his hips. “I’ll be damned; what do I tell the others?”
“Hobie?” Miles flinched as he almost slipped.
Hobie sighed a bit dramatically, shrugging. “Nothing for it but to tell them, I guess.”
------------------
Back in the cafeteria, both Peter and Pavitr had been absolutely battering Gwen with teasing little questions almost since Miles and Hobie had left.
“So, you were lying when you said Hobie’s never gone all tickle monster on you, huh?” Pavitr sang playfully, poking quickly up her side and giggling as she bat him away. “Ooh, I knew I should have told him you said that.”
“My threat still stands on what will happen if you do.” She said back, only to flinch nearly into his lap as Peter’s finger zipped up her spine.
“Pavi, you should know Spider-People start out as terrible liars.” He grinned, and Mayday made the sweetest noise as she pat Gwen’s arm.
Gwen whined as a faint blush crept across her cheeks, shaking her head and laughing softly with them.
“Oi! Fellas.” Hobie suddenly appeared, jogging up to the table and resting his hands on an empty chair. “Mayday. Ah, look, wildest thing: I might have lost our boy Miles.”
The trio, plus Mayday, kind of just…stared. Mayday laughed, and the others were struggling not to smile. Again.
“Oh, no, how could you?” Gwen, once again, made herself break the silence.
“I know; I know; kinda shite of me, but, see, I ran into Old Blue in the hall, and he asked about Miles. I turn ‘round and realize—” He turned, just to illustrate.
Miles reached out to them with one hand. “Help me…” He giggled, trying to whisper as he tightened his legs around Hobie’s waist.
“—realize I ain’t seen him since some minutes ago when we left here.” Hobie turned to face them again, except he spun around the long way before crossing his arms. “Started thinking about sending a search party. But he’s probably ‘right, y’know?”
“Oh, yeah, Miles is a big kid; he’ll be okay.” Peter nodded, reaching with his leg to nudge the chair Hobie had been leaning on. “You want to sit down, maybe?”
“Nah, pops, I’m good.” He shrugged, maintaining a completely straight face as he looked over at Pavitr struggling to contain himself.
“Okay, okay wait, so—” Pavitr called with a flail of his hands. “You haven’t seen him at all?”
“Not a peek.”
“Then what are you carrying?”
Hobie glanced over his shoulder as best he could. Miles poked his nose. He didn’t even smile. “’S my guitar, Pav, you know I always have it.”
Pavitr laughed in disbelief, looking over at Gwen. She just shrugged with a grin.
“Well, Hobie,” She decided to try. “Did you get some new, uh, accessories since we saw you last?”
“Don’t really see how that’s relevant, mate.” He rested his chin on one hand, a smile threatening his lips as Miles giggled into his shoulder.
“Is that a no?” She hopped out of her chair and approached them, and Hobie put his hands up innocently. “Then this is…” She reached out and poked Miles’ side, grinning as he pawed at her hand and tried to keep quiet. That only lasted the three seconds it took for her to decide to scribble all five fingers against his shirt.
“Gwen!” He laughed, one hand gripping tighter at Hobie’s vest as he reached to push her shoulder. “Hobie, come on!”
“Strangest thing, innit, but I do keep hearing his dumb little voice.” Hobie noted as he started to smirk. “Somewhere back here, like.” He reached back with one hand, his fingers scribbling under Miles’ chin and pulling out a barely stifled squeal. “I swear I’m going mental or someth—” His voice caught on a snort as Miles suddenly tickled along his exposed side, and he grabbed at the offending wrist with a sharp glare.
“Hobie, I think Miles might be attached to you.” Gwen declared, snickering into her hand. “Not positive though.”
“What, this?” He gestured purposefully with the arm he was holding, ignoring Miles’ halfhearted pulling and his little giggles. “Nah, nah, nah; this can’t be Miles, and I know it can’t be Miles because I specifically told Miles that I would end him if he tried some shit with me.”
“You told him that when you didn’t see him?” Gwen asked with a smirk, only to flinch when Hobie glared at her next.
“Wouldn’t you like to know, Gwendy?” Hobie crowded close to her, shoving Miles’ hand into her face. “Tell you like I told him, though: you start something with me; I will end you.”
Hobie smirked as he stared her down. Miles poked her nose. She laughed.
“I can’t with you two!” She barely managed to say, and Hobie chuckled as he let go of Miles’ wrist and pulled her against his side.
“Aw, there she is.” He teased, sneaking squeezes on her side. “Love to see that smile, yeah?”
She gave him a playful push, sitting down in the chair Hobie had been standing over.
“Now, what was that you said about a little spider crawling on me?” He asked slowly, his smirk turning devious as his hands moved to squeeze and scribble at Miles’ sides as best he could.
Miles laughed brightly, pulling one of his own arms back to try and grab at Hobie’s wrists or cover his sides.
“Hobie, be nice.” Peter chuckled.
“Hm, wait, let me see—” Hobie’s hands hooked under his knees again, tickling along the backs of them and hoisting him back up when he started to slip.
Miles kicked his feet, his hands pressing on Hobie’s back as he leaned against the guitar strap. “Hobie, enough!” He giggled loudly, unable to squirm out of his hold.
Hobie’s hands went still, returning to nothing but holding him up. “Miles?! My guy, folks have been looking for you, y’know?” He teased, grinning when Miles groaned and leaned on his shoulder.
“Can I get down now?”
“I don’t know, mate, can you?” Hobie hooked another empty chair with his foot, dragging it closer to his side as he lifted his hands away.
“If you spin around again, I’m going to strangle you.” Miles landed one foot on the chair, sighing heavily as he finally sank down and flopped his head onto his arms.
“Damn, ya try to have a little fun around here.” Hobie pat Miles’ shoulders and ruffled his hair. “Right, then; rest up. Anyone else after a ride?”
“Oh, I will, definitely!” Pavitr jumped to his feet, eyes bright as anything. Gwen just chuckled and let her hand fall back to her lap.
Hobie snorted, nudging her with his elbow before cracking his knuckles. “Aw, don’t fret. I’ll tucker him out real quick for ya, Gwendy.”

TickleTober Day 29 - Wake Up!
@hexalianrebel-blackfeathers - Definitely 29 (Wake Up!) with Hobie getting tickled awake one too many times by Gwen, Pavitr, and/or Miles. I admit I wouldn't be able to pick just one.
Why choose? I’ve got a feeling it’d probably take all of them to get his ass good, and why not revenge it? Got a little carried away with this one, but I’m pretty happy with how it came out! Used a few of Panda's hcs too! Sorry for the all the lateness recently, it’s been quite the month (O_Ou) Anyhow, I’ve loved writing these spider sillies for you, and I hope you Enjoy!
Lee: Hobie, brief Gwen
Lers: Miles, Gwen, Pavitr
Summary: There’s one golden rule in Hobie’s house boat; don’t wake him up. His friends always break that rule. Deciding to be brats, the spider kids tickle Hobie awake once again. After he recovers, he takes a little revenge.
Warnings: none! This is a tickle fic, so if you don’t like that, scroll away!
Tumblr media
In Hobie's boat, there was a spoken and unspoken rule. One that his friends could never seem to follow, no matter how many times he snipped at them for it.
Don't wake him up.
Every single time he lets one of them crash at his place, he winds up awake way before he wanted to be. Sometimes it's an accident, like a loud sneeze, broken cereal bowl or random floor squeak. Other times, though, it was 100% intentional. Times like that one.
Hobie was peacefully sleeping, draped over his couch. The other three had stayed the night, so he of course offered up his bed. The punk was tall, meaning he needed a bigger bed. The mattress comfortably fit the three of them, and he could live on the couch. He'd rather have his friends be comfy anyway.
He was planning on sleeping in. True, noon is a bit late, but he had goofed around most the night with the other spider kids; couple that with a full day of patrolling, and you'll know that he deserved a nice rest.
Gwen had been the first to wake up, her father's old work schedule sticking with her. It was nearly nine, but still. She quickly got bored, and not wanting to be the only one awake, poked Pav's sides. He slowly woke, grabbing at her hands and giggling.
Giggling... Bingo. It would probably get her killed, but Gwen had a wonderful idea. "Hey Pav, how much do you value your sanity?"
He rubbed his sides, still a bit put off by the light tickling. "Uhum, it depends? What do you have in mind?" The mischievous look on her face, while endearing, sent a small chill down his spine. That look only meant one thing, though it wasn't aimed at him this time.
"I think Hobie deserves a special good morning. For letting us stay over, you know?" Pavitr sighed, knowing exactly what she had in mind. “Are you even a small bit worried about his revenge? He has told us many times over to just let him sleep.” He wanted to add that her idea would only get them “tortured,” but the thought made his cheeks go pink. It wouldn’t be that bad...probably.
The next to get roped into her plan was Miles. He got a much nicer wake-up call; Gwen was a bit too flustered to tickle him awake. She opted for poking his cheek until he groaned. “Mmmph…wah?” The boy slowly sat up, immediately picking up on the playful vibe in the room. Should be fun, whatever it was. “What’re you two planning, and can I get in on it?”
One hushed, giggly conversation later, they had a plan. A very stupid, silly plan that would undoubtedly backfire, but a plan.
-
Pavitr inched towards the sleeping punk, regretting his offer to pin him. If even one floorboard squeaked, or if Hobie’s spider sense went off too early, he would be a dead man. A giggly dead man, but a dead man nonetheless. Slowly, he raised his wrists, firing off a few webs at Hobie’s long arms. The punk shifted, but other than that, he didn’t react. Whew…
Miles and Gwen, the cowards, crept into the room behind him. Now that Hobie was restrained, they had no chance of being punished for their actions. “Nice job, Pav. You wanna do the honors?” The bubbly teen shook his head, backing away. “Oh no. I did the dirty work. You seal your own fates.”
Chuckling, Miles approached Hobie; he was feeling brave. He could feel the anarchist stir as he straddled his waist. It was clear he didn’t want to get up, regardless of what was happening. Miles placed his hand on Hobie’s stomach, slowly curling his fingers on the taunt skin. Hobie’s eyes fluttered open, a small glare on his face. The teen just smirked. “‘Sup, Hobie.”
The punk growled, tugging at his arms. Gwen giggled, Pavitr moving behind her to avoid his gaze. “You little shits… What’d I say ‘bout waking me up?” The hell…? Oh. They pinned his arms with web fluid. They were double dead now. “Al’ight, which one a’ yous planned this?”
Pav, ever loyal, pointed to Gwen behind her back. She swatted his hand away, laughing. “Ihit was a group effort! Morning, Hobs!”
He huffed, looking down at Miles’ fingers for just a second. “You lot are dead as doorknobs.” That would have been a believable threat if a smile wasn’t threatening to come out. Just thinking about the slow fingers on his stomach were getting to him, though he’d never admit it.
“Sure, sure. Who’s the one pinned under who, Hobie?” Oh, that cocky little- “Miles, I would not push our luck!” At least Pav had some sense. He would go easy on the teen when he took his revenge. Maybe. “It’s cool. Hobie isn’t going anywhere.”
“When I get outta this, you’re all gonna-” Miles cut him off with wiggling fingers, finally attacking the hero’s midsection. Hobie suppressed a squeal, snapping his mouth shut to block the silly sounds from escaping. He thrashed and tugged at the webs, almost bucking Miles off him. The smug teen yelped, hanging onto the couch for dear life. “Hey guys! Little help?”
Gwen quickly ran over to assist, knowing what would happen if Hobie got free; she wasn’t ready for their fun to end so quickly. Hopping on the couch, she sat on his thighs, back-to-back with Miles. “I gotcha! Here, lemme just-” She skittered her nails along his calf, knowing softer tickles worked better on his legs. The stoic boy cracked, bass-sounding giggles rumbling in his chest. Even his giggling was cool…
“Y-youhuhu aharse! Gehe’ ohohoff!” He tried kicking his legs out, but with Gwen on his thighs, he could only squirm. Miles was wasting no time, digging into his stomach and scribbling on his navel. Gwen, on the other hand, was being torturously gentle. It was a small mercy that Pavitr hadn’t joined them, still hesitant on whether or not the punk was okay with it all.
Why did he have to be so nice? Hobie wouldn’t say he was enjoying the silly interaction. He would never, ever admit say something like that. The teasing teens were just enjoying a small joke with him. A joke they would be paid back for, with interest, but a fun game all the same. Who was he to deny them that small pleasure? “Y-youhu’re wahastin’ prehecious time thehere, Pavi! Ihihi’m gohonna kill all ohof you whehen I gehet loose, mihihight as wehehell have sohome fuhuhun!”
The concerned teen needed no more encouragement. He practically bounced over to where Hobie’s arms were pinned, ready to wreak havoc on his nervous system. Pav knew that Hobie had to be in the right mood for them all to tickle him; thankfully, he was. Ten eager fingers dug into Hobie’s hollows, pulling a squeak from his full lips.
Okay, he was regretting that decision. Hobie tried to curl up, tug his arms free, anything to gain the upper hand on the teens “attacking” him. Pav’s webs held strong though, Gwen’s hold on his legs surprisingly sturdy. While he was completely occupied, Gwen was growing a bit bored with the sort-of-loud laughter. She felt like being a menace; the big reactions were what she was after.
Hobie’s eyes widened when he felt Gwen messing with his boot’s laces. “GW-GWEHEHEN! DOHON’ YOUHU FUHUHUCKIN’ DAHAHARE!” Two pairs of eyes quickly moved to Hobie’s legs, the boys wanting to see what would happen next. Pavitr knew that was a bad spot, but Miles was the most inexperienced with Hobie. It would be funny to see his reaction.
Gwen, knowing he would do anything to get her off, laid across his legs. Hopefully her weight and strength would be enough to keep him down. The anarchist could handle tickling almost anywhere else. That spot, though? He was screwed.
Miles and Pav each stopped their teasing fingers, figuring he could only handle so much at once. The first boot came off, thunking against the wood floor of his house boat. “Gwehendy! Gw-gwehen, c’mon! Enough’s ehenough, mate!” She didn’t share his opinion. One finger dragged up his socked sole, making him muffle a squeal. “Really, Hobs? Plaid socks? And you say I’m a monster.”
“F-fuhuck ohohoff! Miles, Pahav, get her!” He looked to his friends, silently hoping they’d see how evil that was. Both teens gave him an apologetic smile, just holding him down. “Sorry, big man. We won’t let her kill you, promise.” Those little fucking- “GYAAH! GWEHEHENDYHIHI! NAHAHAO!”
Boisterous, loud, frantic laughter flew from his lips, quickly filling the room. He thrashed like a lanky worm on a hook, kicking and twisting in every direction possible. It tickled so fucking much.
Miles was taken aback by the intense reaction. He had never seen Hobie laugh that hard before; it was just one foot, with the sock on. Mental notes were definitely being taken. “Damn Hobie, you’ve got some pipes on you.”
He wanted to flip the boy off, yell at him, do anything other than laugh his ass off; yet he couldn’t. The spot was that bad. Tears of mirth grouped in the corners of his eyes, his dark cheeks stained a bright red. He could barely form a sentence through his laughter, much less escape. Pride crawling in a hole for the moment, Hobie did the one thing he said he’d try his hardest to never do: beg. “PLEHEHEASE! GWEHEN- STOHOP!”
Just like that, the devilish nails left his socked sole. Miles and Pavitr quickly put some distance between themselves and the punk, valuing their lives. Gwen cut the webs on his arms, freeing him to curl up and giggle his head off. And he did just that; his arms wrapped around his midsection, one hand going to rub his poor foot as his knees went up to his chest. Gwen jogged to the kitchen, getting him a glass of water.
When offered the liquid, Hobie sighed, downing the entire cup in seconds. His cheeks had calmed a bit, breathing slowly returning to normal. Miles whispered to Pav, not knowing that Hobie could hear every word. “Never guessed Hobie would be a ticklish-feet guy. Hell, I never thought he’d be that ticklish, period.” The punk groaned, making Pavitr giggle. “Why do you think he wears those big boots? Tickle deterrent.”
Okay, that’s enough of their shit. Hobie stood, one booted and ready to enact his revenge. “I suggest you lot run now.” Miles needed no more warnings, turning invisible and darting away. Pavitr ran for the bedroom, locking himself inside. Gwen tried to do the same, but one of Hobie’s webbed snagged her and brought her into his arms. “Hey there, Gwendy. I fink some payback is in order, yeah?”
Trapped in the backwards hug, Gwen couldn’t do much besides squirm and plead with him. She was regretting not changing out of her thin sleep top. “H-hobie, come ohon! I was just trying to make you smile! It- it worked, didn’t it?” Okay, check on the obvious lies. “Y’know I don’ like liars, Gwenny. Time ta pay your penance.”
He dug into her stomach, paying special attention to the small amount of pudge below her navel. She squealed, her knees quickly buckling as loud laughter poured out of her. She really couldn’t handle the taste of her own medicine. “H-HOHOBIE NOHOHO! IHIT- NOHO FAHAHIR!”
Hobie snorted, loving her immediately crazed reaction. “Not fair? You kiddin’ me? This is 100% fair, ya shit.” He decided to be a bit mean, using both hands to claw at her ticklish tum. Snorts started to break up her laughter, her cheeks growing red as cherries. It was worth waking him, but damn, why did his hands have to be so big?!
A creak came from the floorboards behind him, making the lanky boy pause. He webbed Gwen’s arms to her sides, scanning the room. “You. I’m gonna be back for you.” Hobie turned his full attention to the rest of the room, watching as his old floorboards shifted near the bathroom door. Bingo.
Hobie spent the rest of the afternoon hunting the perpetrators and making sure they learned their lessons. By the end of it, all three superpowered teens had rosy cheeks, dopey smiles and tired eyes. They were currently in a cuddle pile on the couch, the punk being used as a communal pillow. And you know what? He wouldn’t change a damn thing.

Miles blinks, hiding his blushing face with his hood and glancing away.
"Pfft, I--" He stammered, fidgeting with his jacket. "No idea what you're talking about, man; come on!"

My headcanon is that Gabi knows that her Dad is Spiderman and she wants so bad to be a Spider as well like him, so Miguel makes her a suit similar of his own, and Gabi bought fake vampire fangs to recreate the Spider Bite attack on her Dad's neck 🤣
Spoiler: Miguel has a very sensitive neck!

Hi! Could you write a fic where Miles and Gwen trap Hobie in webs, sit on top of him, and tickle him with raspberries?
——————————————————————————
Tumblr media
AN: Aaaaa my first request!! Thank you for requesting this anon, it was really silly and fun to write!! Honestly this took me WAY longer than it should've, but I did get it finished and I'm pretty proud of it! I really hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed writing it! <3
——————————————————————————
"You remember the rules, right?"
Miles grinned as he sat on Hobie's waist, the look on his face being a mix of confidence and a bit of curiosity as to wether Hobie could actually follow through with... this. Hobie chuckled, tilting his head to the side as he also grinned. "Pretty sure. Don't laugh, I get some cash right?" He said, his eyebrows raising as he looked at the younger spider.
Hobie had made a deal with Gwen and Miles, a deal that told him he couldn't laugh while the other two teens tickled the life out of him. The reward for this was about ten dollars, and although Hobie didn't have to much use for the cash, he just thought the idea was... maybe kinda fun, so he agreed. This is what led him to laying down on the couch in Miles' living room, his arms held above his head by webs. His legs were also webbed down, because Gwen and Miles knew from experience, that they would get kicked in the face otherwise.
"Yep!" Gwen responded, turning her head to look at Hobie, as she was currently facing his legs with her back against Miles' own back. "Probably a bad day to wear shorts, but.." Gwen trailed off, tracing two fingers across both of Hobie's inner thighs, making the punk jolt slightly. "Makes it easier for us I guess.."
"H-hey-! You know- a countdown or somethin' would've been great.." Hobie said, stumbling over his words as Gwen's nails expertly traced along the sensitive skin on the inside of his thighs. Gwen simply laughed, pulling her hands away and looking over to Miles. "Hey, you wanna know what really gets Hobie?" She asked, a small smirk beginning to appear on her face. Hobie's eyes widened, swallowing the lump that was in his throat as he began to shift around in the webbing nervously.
"W-wait, Gwendy-"
It was way to late to tell Gwen to stop, as she leaned closer to Miles, whispering in his ear. Miles giggled as Gwen's breath tickled his ear, and he raised his shoulders slightly, which made Gwen roll her eyes fondly. Miles heard what Gwen said regardless of the giggling, and after the slight red on his face was gone, he looked back at Hobie, and began raising the punks shirt slowly. Hobie couldn't help the small bit of red that appeared on his face, very subtly trying to pull his shirt back down by just wiggling his body around, as that was really all he could do while he was restrained.
"You trying to pull your shirt back down or something?" Miles said, chuckling as he finished pulling Hobie's shirt up, with it being raised up to just below the punks chest. Hobie responded with a huff and an eye roll, making Gwen giggle as she turned her body around, facing the same way as Miles now.
"S-shut up you- MILES I FUCKIN' SWEAR IF YOU-!" Hobie suddenly screamed when Miles lowered his head, his lips just inches away from making contact with Hobie's bare skin. Miles grinned and chuckled, and Gwen's eyes widened from the sudden outburst, a surprised smile on her face. Gwen turned her body around to look over at Hobie's stomach, noticing something pretty special about it.
"Hey! Miles! Look.." Gwen pointed a bit lower on Hobie's stomach, urging Miles to move his head over. When he did, he was surprised by the piercing that Hobie had on his bellybutton, making him grin at the sight. "Hey.. you never told us you had a bellybutton piercing.."
"Never really found a reason to- pfft-! Miles!" Hobie bit back a squeak as Miles suddenly tapped the piercing, a wobbly smile on his face as he turned his head away. Miles' mouth opened in slight surprise, with that expression slowly turning into a slightly evil grin.
"Are you sure you can survive this Hobie?" Miles said, placing his mouth directly above Hobie's navel. Hobie's breath hitched as Miles did this, his breathing getting a bit more fast-paced. "Miles, I swear if you do what I bloody think you're gonna do.." Hobie said, trying to have a sense of authority with his words.
Miles looked up at Hobie before directing his head back down, and after taking a very deep breath, he pressed his lips against Hobie's skin and blew the meanest raspberry he could directly over Hobie's navel.
It was safe to say that Hobie immediately lost it, his eyes going wide as he bursted into loud cackles. Gwen watched Hobie's reaction, her eyes widening from the sounds that came out of Hobie's mouth. "Well.. guess you lost the bet." She said, laughing at Hobie's expense.
"NAHAHAHAHA MIHIHIHILES-! STAHAHAHAP- SHIHIHIHIHIT!!" Hobie basically screamed from the unbearable feeling, his face scrunched up as he thrashed around, the webbing around his wrists and ankles keeping him basically stuck to the couch.
"Woah! You weren't kidding Gwen!" Miles said, practically beaming at the fact he got Hobie to laugh so quickly. Gwen laughed, looking at Hobie who looked like he was about to tap out from his own laughing. "Here, let me help Miles."
Gwen leaned over, her head right next to Hobie's side, which made the punk try and squirm to the other side. The webbing held strong however, only letting Hobie move the slightest bit.
"W-wait! I thought we were done!" Hobie said, biting his lip from the anticipation. Gwen tilted her head upwards and chuckled, giving Hobie a sly grin. "C'mon Hobie. I mean, you lost. You should be punished for that."
Hobie was about to protest, but his words were quickly interrupted by another fit of cackles as Gwen blew a raspberry on a very sensitive spot in-between his ribs. Hobie arched his back, his eyes wide as he laughed uncontrollably.
"FAHAHAHAHAHACK- GWEHEHEN I'LL FUHUHUCKIN' KIHIHIHIHIL YOU!" Hobie threatened through his laughter. Gwen simply laughed, blowing another equally mean raspberry against the same spot, getting a continued string of cackles coming from the punk.
As Miles observed the string of cackles that escaped Hobie's mouth, a very evil idea filling his mind. About a month ago, Miles learned how to transfer his venom power to other parts of his body; how to transfer the shock to a different part. It was useful in fights, an example being when Miles would usually transfer his venom powers to his legs to give a villain a swift, electric kick to the face. Now, obviously Miles didn't want to hurt Hobie, which is why he only transferred the slightest bit of his venom power to his lips.
As Miles grinned at the revelation he had, Hobie was still dying as Gwen raspberried each of his ribs and the spaces in-between, with Hobie's face being a dark red colour from how hard he was laughing.
"GWHEHEHEHEHEN- DAHAHAHMMIT STOHOHOHOHOHOP!" Loud, unfiltered cackles filled the living room, the person responsible for said cackles having his head tilted back as he desperately squirmed. Miles chuckled, and nudged Gwen. Well, it was more of a poke, but it still got her attention.
"Hmm?" Gwen pulled her head away from Hobie's side, giving the punk a well deserved break. Miles looked at Gwen, before looking at Hobie, the expression on the younger spider's face making the punk shiver.
"I want you to watch this."
Before Hobie could even think of what Miles was about to do (although he had a pretty clear idea in his mind already), Miles leaned his head down and blew a raspberry against Hobie's stomach, the small bit of venom in his lips making the sensation a whole lot worse.
Hobie's eyes went wide, and his laughter shot up an octave as his body thrashed around, small tears pricking the corners of his eyes.
"GYAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! MIHIHIHIHIHIHILES NAHAHAHA- SHIHIHIHIHIT!! STAHAHAHAHA-" Hobie could barely even speak over his own laughter, that of which was beginning to cut out. One second Hobie would be cackling his head off, and then the next all the laughter would stop, with Hobie's mouth hung open in ticklish agony. This gave Miles and Gwen an indicator that Hobie had enough, so Miles pulled his head away, and got off of Hobie, with Gwen following along and getting off of Hobie herself.
After a bit, Hobie's laughter subsided, now just being a few giggles that would occasionally slip past his lips. Miles found the pocket knife that Hobie always kept in his vest, and used it to cut the webbing that kept Hobie's arms and legs glued to the couch.
Hobie sat up, his body quivering and his stomach still tingling as tiny traces of Miles' venom power were still zipping around his torso. Hobie put a hand to his stomach to ease the sensations, his head against the back of the couch as he breathed deeply.
"You good?" Miles asked, looking down at Hobie from where he was standing. Hobie gave Miles a shaky nod, turning his head to Gwen, who was standing beside Miles.
"Yeah.. 'm fine.." Hobie said, clearing his throat as he stood up. "Oh, hey Gwen? Miles?"
"Yeah?"
"What's up?"
Hobie cracked his knuckles, smirking as if he wasn't just tickled to death about a minute prior. "I suggest you both run.. I'll have no trouble gettin' my revenge on botha you at the same time.."

Squid Surge
Panda’s Notes:  We all know Olivia Octavius is prime ler material, but in 6 whole years, I haven't seen a thing. So here's a thing. >w< Blame @carrie-tate for this one. I love this picture.
[Ao3] || [Cookies Found: 0] || [Commissions] || [Ko-fi]
There’s something about staring into the pulsating epicenter of an interdimensional rift that changes you.
There’s something about losing your lab’s main source of funding that changes you too, but that’s neither here nor there.
The last few months were spent on research. Peter Parker had reportedly been 26 years old when he died…Spiderman had only appeared in the city about a decade ago, give or take. It had been barely a year after that first appearance when she and Spiderman became recurring enemies.
Sixteen years old. Maybe seventeen. She’d been fighting over and over—reworking and redesigning machine after machine—to fight a child. It was a bit funny, to say the least; in fact, it explained a lot. His terrible humor; his exaggerated voices for those first few years; his…unorthodox plans.
…She would miss him. In a sense, of course.
The universe is a funny thing though. Hardly a day after Peter was gone, three entirely different Spider-characters had given her a hell of a fight in the woods just outside of Alchemax. One of them being a nearly-identical—not counting the obvious difference in age—Peter Parker, and another with the ability to turn completely invisible. Now, that was something.
The one with the invisibility power; he’d first appeared in the Alchemax building alongside that second Peter, in a terrible store-bought spider suit and barely able to use his ability consistently. It was kind of adorable, like watching a kitten’s first attempts to climb. In the heat of the chase, it touched something human deep inside of her—She’d have to make a note to fix that—and she couldn’t help teasing him a bit in the moment.
The next day had been the collider’s final one. Six Spiders in total, five of which disappeared through the fluctuating rifts. She’d made the mistake of believing the smallest one—who showed up in a black-and-red suit after showing off his invisibility—was a seventh variant, but it’d only lasted a moment. The others had recognized him; they were so happy to see him. It might have felt nice to kill him, in that moment.
But she hadn’t; she honestly didn’t fully remember what happened. She awoke on a hard surface, her pneumatic arms clutching for purchase on something. Blood was running down her face and some bone somewhere was definitely broken. The whole chamber was filled with light in colors she had never imagined. The air was being pulled toward one of the portal generators; the temperature shifted wildly as everything swirled, and for just a fleeting moment, she had a glimpse into a web of something infinite and indescribable.
So, yeah. Minor Existential Quandary. No big deal. Not an issue at all.
Recovery was an interesting time spent between different casts and braces, readjusting actuators and programs. No one took much notice; lying low between the chaotic moments was something she took a sort of pride in. The news droned on in the background every time; the word on the street was a particular, brand-new black-suit Spiderman. She was curious about him; she admired his sacrifice. But days turned to weeks, turned to months. He didn’t disappear; he didn’t falter; if anything, he was improving quickly for such a small thing. He was supposed to be here, in this dimension.
That brings us back to this. She’d wracked her brain trying to remember that night. The whole week had become a bit fuzzy with the head injury, but something stuck about. Miles. Spoken like a name. She’d heard it a few times during the encounters they’d had. They were all just so talkative, weren’t they?
Hacking into databases wasn’t necessarily a strong suit of hers. Not to say that it’s hard, but it’s nowhere as easy as robotics. Miles is an interesting name to search for too, all things considered. Not common enough for her to scrap the search entirely—Like Peter, funny enough—but not so rare that the hunt was a simple handful of clicks. And she adored a good puzzle.
Now, how to narrow this down… If the precedent held true, the kid would be under 20 years old. Great. That removes…40% of the results. That’s still a few dozen in the area though, less puzzling now and more downright luck.
…Olivia doesn’t really believe much in luck. What she does believe in is probability. Such as, if someone were to, say, spread an itty-bitty little rumor through the proverbial criminal grapevine about a new secret project Doc Ock was working on; well, then the probability that such information would get to Spiderman was nearly 100%. And then, the probability that Spiderman would simply have to infiltrate Alchemax to confirm such a rumor was…
Actually, that brings us to the present. The brace on her leg kept the occasional aches from distracting her; the one on her wrist had just become a habit from weeks of routine. She stood in her personal lab, making a few final calibrations. Frankly, the timing was impeccable. The tablet beside her, showing schematics and diagnostics for the mechanism on the table, had a small grid of dots in one corner that shifted from green to red in a sort of line before only one dot stayed red. She tapped the grid, making it the focal program on the screen, and she smirked to herself as she lifted the apparatus enough for it to attach itself onto her back. It felt lighter; less metal hidden in the tubes definitely helped. The arms lifted her weight off the floor easily; that part hadn’t needed any changing.
“One last thing.” She finally spoke, pulling her glasses off while one of the arms passed her goggles into her hand. “I’ll need to test the new program; it’d be so nice to have some assistance~” She pressed the red dot on the tablet, and a loud hiss suddenly came from the ceiling behind her, quickly followed by a startled yelp. She turned with a grin, finding a flailing partial-silhouette made of fire suppressant powder. “How nice of you to drop in, Spider-Man.” She taunted playfully, lashing an arm across the room toward him.
He dodged to one side, perching himself on a table as he let himself become visible again. “I-I—How…?” He stammered out, ducking away from another arm trying to grab him.
“It’s a temperature detector, sweetie, not a person detector. In fact, I had to increase its sensitivity just for you!”
He glared at her—Don’t ask how she can tell—before lunging to one side and attempting to rush at her. She had lifted herself up and backwards to stand on the workbench, and Spider-man flinched as all four arms lashed toward him. He fired off a web, attempting to pull himself out of the way, but she managed to catch him by one ankle and drag him close enough for another arm to coil around his wrist. The claw shoved into his hand, blocking the trigger on that web shooter as he flailed nervously.
“Huh, the speed adjustments paid off too.” She grinned, tapping her chin as she watched Spiderman grab at the plastic tubing.
“This is the secret project I heard so much about?” He let out a huff, and she could feel the air tingle as sparks started to jump off of him. “Can’t say I’m impressed.”
Her smirk didn’t falter at all. “Sorry, Miles; I made a point to keep this design completely      insulated from electricity.”
He froze up completely. Oh. She actually hadn’t meant to let that slip so early. But given his reaction…
“I don’t—” He tried to speak, but the new anxiety was dripping from his voice.
“So that is your name!” Olivia laughed. “Honestly, you Spiders really should work on keeping your mouths shut during these little fights.”
“I don’t know what you’re talking about, Octavius.” He growled, looking away and prying harder at the claw on his wrist.
She eyed him skeptically, shaking her head. “You can play tough if you want, but I do have to tell you: You were wrong earlier; my secret project is actually this little program.” She emphasized the statement by running the command, leaning casually on the workbench as she was set back on the floor. Two of the remaining arms moved suddenly, the claws squeezing gently at his sides. The reaction was instant and, frankly, hilarious.
Spiderman let out a panicked sort of noise, his free hand grabbing at one of the offending claws. “A-Aye, watch it; tell your vacuum tubes to keep their hands to themselves!”
Olivia let herself chuckle, twirling her finger casually in the air as the claw on his other side mimicked the motion. “Oh, come on now, Spiderman; you think I’ve never heard that one before?” She taunted, smirking as she watched him squirm. “Besides, it’s not like they’re doing anything; you’re fine.”
She waved her hand dismissively, pretending to turn her attention elsewhere while both claws suddenly moved faster. The gentle squeezes became very purposeful kneading from his hips to his ribcage, and Spiderman—Miles—kicked wildly as a startled laugh managed to escape. Olivia glanced back at him, crossing her arms and hoping her sarcasm didn’t show too much. “You still alright up there?”
Miles was definitely glaring at her if his tone was any hint. “You’re doing this on purpose…” He tried to growl, but it sounded a lot more like stifled giggling.
“Doing what~? I’m not doing a thing. The program is just a maintenance tool. Keeps all the joints working, like cracking your knuckles.” She tapped her chin. “Unless, of course…”
“Shut up.” He snarled, trying to scrunch himself up as both claws crawled tauntingly slow up his sides.
“…You’re ticklish.”
There was a beat of silence as they stared at each other, and electricity jumped off of Miles’ hands again.
Olivia sneered as she let the claws strike; one of them resumed the pattern of squeezing up his side while the other tickled mercilessly under the arm he was dangling by. And wow, it really shouldn’t be this easy; this was just unfair. Miles actually burst out laughing, his escape efforts redoubling in the form of much more aggressive kicks. Olivia simply kept her distance, chuckling as she pulled the tablet on her desk closer to make a few notes.
Reaction times were good; pressure calibration seemed accurate; minute motions were apparently quite realistic, if that squealing was anything to go by.
“Are you having fun?” She taunted, reaching to sneak a poke on his stomach and snickering when he nearly connected a kick through his laughter. “I think this is fun. Now…” She tapped her chin as she examined her notes…
Logic and Opportunity… In a situation where a problem is presented, these two will balance in some way. Most people, when an opportunity presents itself, will try to logic out the surrounding circumstances to decide if the opportunity is truly worth taking at the time. A computer, however, gathers all the logical information it has, determines an optimal solution, and when an opportunity to perform that solution appears—
…This is all to say that Olivia finally lashed out with her remaining actuator, the claw snatching Spiderman’s mask off of his face.
Oh…This feeling again.
Spiderman—Miles—looked shocked for a second, the momentary joy in his eyes giving way to a panic that was…primal, to say the least. Fear that everything was going to fall away. The sight of impending death, and the knowledge that you aren’t ready.
Olivia hesitated. There’s something about staring into the eyes of the kid you had made deliberate plans and attempts to kill that changes you.
Both of them were frozen; his face was hard—determined—but it didn’t disguise the tears that threatened to fall from his eyes. His mind was completely blank.
What was she thinking? She realized quite suddenly that she hadn’t fixed that pesky humanity. His face softened as she thought; her expression must have changed.
What had actually changed was that her arms had lowered him closer to the floor, the grips of the claws loosening enough for—Right, they were fighting. He wrenched his hand, opening the claw on his wrist enough to pull free, and he broke into a sprint the second he hit the floor. She reflexively pulled herself out of the way, stumbling slightly as her legs hit the workbench. Olivia looked quickly around the room, only to find herself alone. His mask had fallen to the floor; he wouldn’t leave without it. She was about to adjust her goggles to shift filters, but a familiar crackling over her shoulder caught her attention. She felt a hard shove, most of the electricity absorbed by the apparatus as the arms moved to keep her from falling. Static tingled through her shoulders as she turned to face the boy standing poised on her desk. She could handle this; she just needed to focus.
[ERROR!]
The message flashed in the corner of her vision, and Miles squinted at her, apparently spotting the backwards text through her goggles. She fell suddenly to her own feet, the actuators shifting as the device on her back sparked. A dull ache shot through her spine; they weren’t responding to the neural link. Not really a great time for that, but nothing she hasn’t dealt with before.
Unfortunately, she wasn’t prepared for two of the claws to start tickling her sides, and Miles stifled a laugh at the giggling snort that escaped her. Yeah, actually, forget that poignant revelation she just had; she’s still going to kill him.
“You little brat!” She barely managed to get out, her tone nowhere near as accusatory as she’d wanted through her own growing laughter.
He stepped back slightly when she staggered forward, and he crouched on the desk, resting his chin on one hand as he watched her crumble with a slight smirk. “Y’know, you’re right; this is kind of fun.”
Now, he was the one to hesitate, not that she was able to focus fully on him or anything. She heard his web shooter fire, and the mask was snatched off of the floor. There was a faint tapping before he gave an exasperated sigh. “¿Cómo encuentras algo?” He huffed before, suddenly, the actuators went mostly still. They still spasmed occasionally, and when they attempted to retract back into the apparatus just left three of them deflating on the floor.
[EMERGENCY OVERRIDE ACTIVATED, SHUTTING DOWN]
She’d barely caught sight of the message through the slight haze in her eyes just before her goggles darkened and deactivated. She took the time to catch her breath before she pushed herself up, one of her hands moving to rub her side as the giggles faded away. Spiderman was gone, as far as she could tell—Smart kid—but her glasses had been webbed to the ceiling. Smug little brat.
Olivia fished one of her many spare pairs out of a drawer on her workbench, sighing as she pulled the tablet closer and flicked through the different programs. A thirty-character access code later, she was scrolling back through the security footage for this room. One of the angles had a crystal-clear shot of Miles’ face. The ideas that must have been running through his head to put that much fear in his eyes…
No one else had access to these records until the security backup at the end of the night. Olivia valued her privacy more often than not.
Logic and Opportunity. When a situation presents itself, a computer will logic out a solution and perform immediately when the opportunity arises.
Olivia took a deep breath, held it, and let it out. She deleted the footage.
A dot on the grid program shifted subtly from red to green, and she smiled.
There’s something about humanity that changes you.

TickleTober Day 22 - Ticklish Kiss
I really wanted to do something for these two, they’re so wholesome and cute together! (>w<) I had something planned for them at the beginning of the month-ish, just never got around to writing it. I love writing for this fandom, the spiderkids make my brain happy. I hope everyone has had a great month, and that you Enjoy!
Lee: Pavitr
Ler: Gayatri
Summary: Pavitr was waiting for his girlfriend on the rooftop. It was a chillier day than normal in Mumbai, and Pavitr could do with some warming up. Gayatri helped out, but her warming affections have a tickly twist.
Warnings: none! This is a tickle fic, so if you don’t like that, scroll away!!
Tumblr media
The cool wind blew through Pavitr’s hair, sending goosebumps running down his neck and arms. It was 68 degrees outside, sure, but the temperature typically didn’t drop below 80. He wasn’t cold, but the young hero wished he had a jacket to go over his suit. The barefoot design was definitely coming back to haunt him…
A squeaking door interrupted his thoughts, his girlfriend joining him on the rooftop. Gayatri was beautiful as ever, wearing a thicker flannel jacket, dark top, purple jeans and a beanie. It took all the chilly teen had to not stare. He tried to sound smooth in his greeting, but his teeth chattered as he spoke. “H-hey girl. You l-look lovely.”
She laughed, the sound a wonderful symphony to Pav’s ears. He loved her smile, her laugh, her lips, her hair, her- “Pav, घाम, you’re staring.” She had to tease him, it was required of her as his girlfriend. She did, however, notice the shake of his voice. “Are you alright?”
A red hue lit up on his masked cheeks as she caught him. She was just so amazing; how could he not stare? “Sorry. And yes, I’m fine. Just…wishing the suit was a bit thicker.”
Gayatri couldn’t help but roll her eyes at his cute predicament. She loved his intricate suit, even though it wasn’t the most practical. There was no way she was giving up her warm flannel, but she had another way to help. “It’s okay, I was teasing. Want me to warm you up?”
He nodded rapidly, knowing what she meant. “Yes please!” He had just breaked from patrol, and being suited up, the rooftops were really the only places they could hang out without getting caught. It was chilly, but it worked.
Okay, that was cute. Honestly, everything he did was cute. Gayatri moved to the edge of the rooftop, sitting right beside him. She pulled off his mask, watching the small hairs on his neck prickle in the cool air. Adorable. She pressed a few gentle kisses to his neck, her heart melting as he squeaked.
He bit his lip, trying to sit still and enjoy the kisses. He did scoot farther away from the edge of the roof, not wanting his girl to potentially fall. He would obviously catch her before anything happened, but why tempt fate? Her tickly lips made it awfully hard not to squirm, though…
“G-Gaya!” He didn’t protest, didn’t tell her to stop; just whined. She found that to be tooth-rottingly sweet. “What? I am just trying to warm my wonderful partner up.” The blush on his cheeks only deepened; she knew exactly what she was doing. She also knew how much he liked it.
Pushing her luck, she moved the kisses under his chin, trailing them back down to his neck. Pav squealed, his hands flying up to do something. He really didn’t want to push her away, though… The boy opted for grabbing her shoulders, drumming his feet on the ledge beneath him. Bright, bubbly giggles spilled from his lips, adding some warmth to the cooler fall air. “Gahayatrihihi! Nohot fahahair!”
Could the guy get any more adorable? She thought it so often, but it was true; Pavitr was the sweetest, cutest, most lovable person Gayatri had ever met. And his laughter? Freaking gorgeous. They were the same, in that way; they loved to see and hear each other be happy. Only Gayatri was a bit better at getting what she wanted. Wiggling fingers joined the kisses, gently scribbling at the base of his ribs.
Now that was just mean. He flopped around, trying his best not to push her. Pav wrapped his arms around his torso, scrunching up his shoulders as he tried to block out the tickles. The childish giggles turned to happy, bright laughter as he wiggled around. “Cohohome ohon! खिलना!”
“What? You have yet to stop me, Pavi. I think you might be enjoying yourself~” He whined through his laughter, grabbing onto her wrists. The young hero didn’t shove her hands away; he just refused to admit that she was right. As much as he hated to think it, she was helping. The heat from his blush and laughter had warmed him up, blocking out the slight chill.
His restraint died when he felt her hands travel to his stomach, her nails on his belly button. Pav squealed much louder than before, his laugh skyrocketing up several octaves. “GAHAYATRIHIHI! NOHOT THE TUHUMY!”
Gayatri laughed with him, finding the boisterous sound rather infectious. “But your tummy is my favorite! How can you ask me to move, घाम? So mean.”
He practically squawked, the indignant sound sending his girlfriend into a giggle fit. “Y-YOUHUHU AHARE THE OHONE BEHEHEING MEHEHEAN!”
“Is it really mean if you enjoy it?” Her tone was as teasing as it was affectionate. Gayatri had long since discovered that Pav enjoyed that certain brand of affection. She had no problems with it; it was cute, if anything. The girl was more than happy to indulge him, and she had to admit, it was fun to see his reactions.
It was about time to stop at that point; his cheeks were burning, and he had to go back on patrols when they were done. Still, it just didn’t feel right to end their meet-up without a big finish. Taking a deep breath, she leaned in, blowing a raspberry on the exposed skin of his neck.
When I say he squealed, I mean that every street dog in a fifty-mile radius covered their ears. His neck wasn’t his worst spot, but combined with the belly tickles and general flustering atmosphere, it might as well have been. “NAHAHAHAHO! GAYATRIHIHI, PLEHEHASE! EHENOHOUGH!”
She stopped immediately, pulling him close and peppering his cheeks with little kisses. He giggled softly, still recovering as ghost tickles buzzed along his stomach and neck. Pav couldn't help but melt into the touch, practically going limp on her as he tried to catch his breath. It was, again, adorable.
“You really can’t get any cuter, can you?” Gayatri chuckled, running a hand through his hair. The spider boy loved it when she did that. “Y-youhu’re ehevil…"
"It warmed you up, did it not?" He groaned, but didn't deny it. She was right; he was definitely worth warm, though that could be attributed to the blush on his face or fuzzy feeling in his chest. Either way, it worked.
Suddenly, Pavitr felt his spider sense go off. From a few hundred yards away, a loud crash sounded, followed by sirens and screaming. He collected himself almost immediately, adrenaline and concern replacing the giddy buzz. Another villain to deal with.
"लानत… Gayatri, I'm sorry-" Before he could guilt himself, the other teen cut him off with a kiss. Pav's eyes widened before he kissed her back, savoring the quick yet loving moment. "Go. Those people need your help. Meet you at your Maya Aunty's?"
What did he ever do to deserve a girl like her? The understanding was instant, and she never took it personally. "Absolutely. Be back in a moment, जानू."
With that, he pulled his mask back on, giving her one last hug before leaping off the building. Gayatri watched as he slid off his bangles, flipping around as he raced to the scene.
She loved him so much, but she knew that he needed to do it. If he didn't, who would? When he returned that evening, she would be waiting for him, a cup of chai and a loving pair of arms at the ready. Maybe another ticklish kiss or two as well…
