What is Nakba? I’ve seen it mentioned a bit recently in relation to the conflict.

The eviction of 750,000 Palestinian Arabs (mostly into directly adjacent Arab countries that had been named "Palestine" less than 20 years earlier) should inspire basic sympathy. So should the Allied firebombing of Dresden, all those German women and children drownburning in melted asphalt... horrible. Or General Sherman levelling Georgia and South Carolina, when, as any Southern partisan will be happy to tell you, most of those people never even owned slaves.

War is hell - try not starting one. And that goes double for a war meant to preserve unearned racial-religious supremacism with an explicit goal of exterminating the Jews down to the last baby.

Palestinians have a right to hard feelings. Their "allies" need to stop being pathetic and get over the Confederate Lost Cause of the Left.
