Eveline, the Connections, and the buried D-series lore
A surprising number of unused text files can be found by datamining the RE7 game file (I found next to nothing in RE8, for comparison). Many look to come from an earlier version of Mia's sequence on the tanker, which I may get to posting about those later ‒ but by far the most fascinating are a series of three files about the the E-series project, adding names and a whole tragic backstory to a couple of humble key items that are still in the game: the D-series arm and head.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
These three documents were presumably earlier drafts of those you can still find in the final lab, though they contain a number of details missing from the final game. I'll share all three below, but we'll start with the second, because it's by far the most interesting.
Biological Weapons Development 2 We've decided that the biological weapon should look like a young girl. That way it will be easy to slip it into groups of, for example, refugees. In early ■■■■, 1999, Dr. Olivia ■■■'s team infected a human embryo with ■■ from ■■■■, creating four prototypes. These were named, Dana, Dahlia, Darlene, and Dorothy. The D-Series was able to control the thoughts of others by making them ingest a mold-like secretion. The initial symptoms caused by this secretion are visual and auditory hallucinations, and ■■■■. The secretion also erodes the target's cerebral ■■■. As the infection progresses, the target develops strong feelings of friendship towards the girls, and actively seeks to serve them. It is also possible for the secretion to fuse with the target's somatic cells, causing mutations in the body's physical structure. D-001 Dana Deceased (■■■■) D-002 Dahlia Deceased (Decrepit at 319 days) D-003 Darlene Deceased (Infection) D-004 Dorothy Disposed of due to poor performance D-005 Dolores Suicide D-006 Diana Killed by D-005 D-007 Daniella Killed by D-005 D-008 Doris Deceased (■■■■■■) E-001 Eveline Stable [Progress under observation]
(Excuse the slightly-wonky table at the bottom ‒ it's the best I could easily do for tumblr.)
There's a real SCP vibe to all those clinical details and tantalising redactions ‒ far more is redacted in these early versions than in any file that made it into the game. What really killed Dana and Doris? We don't know, but the idea of causes worse than what's reported for other subjects is nasty stuff.
The most striking implication in this list is the story of poor Dolores, who killed two of her sisters (Dolores and Diana, D-006 and 7) before killing herself. We don't know why or how it happened, but Dolores was D-005, which is a number you might have seen before:
Tumblr media
Well, shit. That poor damn thing.
The D-series arm belonged D-002 ‒ Dahlia, who was apparently 'decrepit after 319 days', so very likely affected by the same rapid aging as Eveline.
Tumblr media
You find the arm attached to a horrifying corpse-doll-thing, the arm itself allegedly gifted to Marguerite by Eveline soon after her arrival. And speaking of this particular asset, the fact this arm seems to have tried to grow a whole new head even after being severed is a wonderfully creepy bit of detail.
I didn't find it strange that both components would have been on the ship with Eveline ‒ they're required components for making anti-infection serum, which might well be needed in transit or at their destination, and perhaps those components have a longer shelf-life than the serum itself. But the third document in the series tells us there was rather more to the fact that Eveline herself had that arm in her possession.
Biological Weapons Development 3 Eveline (E-001) has displayed remarkable results in performance tests against mice, ■■■■, monkeys, and humans. Finally, we have a biological weapon we can use. Unfortunately, her metabolic functions are lacking, meaning she still requires doses of ■■■■■. If ■■■■■ is not administered, the somatic cells age rapidly, and in a worst-case scenario ■■■■ may also occur. An attendant will be required to administer regular doses of ■■■■■ to Eveline. Having observed Eveline (E-001), we have noticed several interesting points: ・ Eveline has a tendency to regard the targets she gains control of as "family." It seems that gaining control of humans has a special meaning for her. ・ She treats part of ■■■■■■'s (D-0■■) corpse as a treasured possession. Perhaps she regards it as a memento mori from one of her sisters? ・ ■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■. Perhaps ■■■■■■■■■■. Those infected with D-Series secretions can be treated with a special serum. The serum can be synthesized by ■■■■■■■■ing D-Series somatic cell tissue. In case of accidental infection, administer the serum as quickly as possible. Be aware, however, that the serum is only effective against mild infections. Administering the serum to those with severe infections can result in the infected cells coagulating and ■■■■, and may even result in death. Be sure to administer the serum at the appropriate time.
So apparently Eveline was in the habit of carting poor Dahlia's severed arm around with her, as some kind of twisted memento. Dahlia most likely died long before Eveline's creation, which does not make that detail less creepy.
Tumblr media
Though it's much less interesting than the latter two, here's the first file in the series too:
Biological Weapons Development 1 This program started in 1997 with financial backing from ■ ■ ■ ■. The aim was to create a biological weapon that could take control of enemy groups without having to engage them in combat. This gives the program an advantage that differentiates it from previous biological weapon developments: it lets us turn our enemies into allies. Soon, those who once opposed us will voluntarily become our friends, serving us as required. With this program we can increase our allies while avoiding the costs associated with military engagements and having to deal with prisoners of war… The governments of ■ ■ ■ ■ and ■ ■ ■ may also be interested in this new program too.
Still no detail in any of these to explain why the two arms so very clearly attached to the D-series ""head"" were apparently not fit for purpose, but eventually you've got to just shrug and go with this stuff.
Tumblr media
All these files are not so much "cut" content as older drafts that were accidentally left in the game, and they contradict the versions that did make it in in a few places ‒ for example, the draft version puts the project's beginnings in 1997, whereas the final version moves that date forward to 2000. But it's a real shame all that detail on the D-series was cut, because it adds so much context to elements that did make it into the finished game. The game still works without them, but I'd venture the whole picture is that little bit richer for knowing about them.

I did go to Sephora yesterday and the Internet wasn't lying or over exaggerating! I saw, in fact, MULTIPLE 8-12 year olds shopping there. although a lot/most of the actually youngest ones had parents trailing them.
specifically please pour one out for one dad trailing his preteen girls lmao. That man had the ultimate dad (or parent) expression that combined resigned exhaustion with supportiveness and searching bewilderment hoping for solidarity among adults. Or possibly rescue
.
Anyways one of them darted in front of me to reach/snatch at something she wanted because she was too nervous to say "excuse me," although I had already noticed her telling her mom what product she was looking for and was actively already stepping aside when she zoomed in to do this! I was making space and she literally was too excited to just wait three more seconds.
I mostly found the darting funny because she was clearly just afraid to talk to another person who wasn't her mom (nervous hand clasping, whispering to her mom's ear, hesitant hover back), but also like sweetie, your mom SHOULD encourage you to not snatch things or reach over people and say out loud "excuse me," even if it IS scary. I pre-emptively moved over when I saw what she was saying, she was just faster lol.
I will think on how to gently help them with this next time. I probably could've said something like "hey, it's okay to say excuse me so I can move over more for you! We can both look!"
This little girl DID open the box of what she was looking at which?? Why did her mom not tell her not to do that?? But she didn't unseal product.
Also this is what she wanted:
Tumblr media
For anyone fascinated/horrified by the phenomenon of pre-teen girls being sold absurd skincare standards by TikTok, but who doesn't know much about the products involved:
This is a watermelon glow face serum. Serum is basically liquidy topical skincare products. They're often used for a more concentrated delivery of an active ingredient in your skincare. A little can go a long way.
In this case, the serum is boosting in order: (1) niacinamide, which is a type of vitamin B3 that helps your skin build keratin (for firmness), and the natural lipid barrier which helps you retain moisture. It can also help with inflammation/redness/coloration (acne, eczema, hyperpigmentation). (2) literal watermelon extract which idk says it delivers amino acids and hydration in the marketing. It's probably harmless. It's a good add for marketing, Glow recipe does fruit themed products. And (3) hyaluronic acid which could sound scary but is just a humectant that helps prepare skin to receive moisture, like in your moisturizer. (Fair warning: a straight hyaluronic acid serum is not enough on its own if your skin is super dehydrated. It will make your skin go all shriveled if you don't add moisturizer and you were super dry to start with. Ask me how I know)
Basically this angel faced & clear skinned child absolutely did not need anything to help acne or redness, but in this case it's a harmless product that will also help her skin stay moisturized in winter. It's pricey for what it is, but it's not meant for mature skin only thankfully. Basically if I had to choose something from Glow Recipe (which has cute, colorful bottles and fun fruit themes) for a little kiddo, this lands in the harmless to their skin pile.
She got the mini size which is $20
Her skin absolutely doesn't need this product. This is about marketing performative femininity and anti-aging towards girls and women. From an "everyone has skin to care for," perspective, "watermelon pink juice moisturizer" by the same brand is more relevant. Or the blueberry cleanser.
(most of the actual teenagers said things like "excuse me" if they needed to pass by and weren't rude to me at all. Like actual teenagers sans guardians and I had lots of normal sorry, excuse me, go ahead interactions between us. They're NOT all aggressive and rude.)
Idk idk I have such mixed feelings. I know I cared about the onset of acne at 11, 12... I hated the feeling of breaking out, not even just from a social perspective but like, the sensory feeling it produces in your skin. I pick at it even when I shouldn't. I still hate it! But to have that anxiety compounded a bajillion times by social media would've sucked.

y'know I really do feel sorry for the younger 20 somethings (and anyone in general tbh) that are suffering from tiktok brain rot around "anti-aging" advice. like the other day, I had a review/reaction video from I think james walsh the beauty influencer in my fb watch feed, where he was reviewing/debunking the bs anti-aging advice that people give on tiktok.
one of the videos he reacted to was from some 21yo beauty influencer or some rando idk, I'm not on there. her piece of advice was to "always sleep on your back like a vampire to reduce fine lines, wrinkles and crows feet. that's how I stay looking so fresh... even though yes I'm 21 which contributes quite a bit but still. be disciplined about sleeping on your back ALL NIGHT, EVERY NIGHT to get the PERFECT SKIN!!!" like im sorry, what???? you're 20 fucking one (21). why the FUCK do you feel compelled to give "anti-aging" advice??? why the fuck do you even care about anti-aging stuff when you're like at least 10 YEARS away from any considerable signs of aging beginning to slowly show??? get the fuck out of the house and enjoy nature or some shit. instead of lamenting that you're "getting so old by the minute so I MUST ELIMINATE laugh lines and crows feet even though im still only 21."
"but but. it's in the name of self care." I can hear some people say. "but but. it shows that as a woman you take high self-care maintenance of yourself if you begin EARLY with seeking out remedies for and eliminating the signs of aging" other people are saying. and finally: "but but. look at zendaya (or some other young 20 something movie star or TT influencer like idek mikayla nougeira). she's promoting revlon anti-aging serums! it can't be that bad!!!"
I raise to people with the first response that: no. having some 21yo condescend to you that you MUST fight to stay younger and sleep uncomfortably on your back stiffly like a vampire is NOT self care. starting to "fight" the signs of aging is NOT being a high maintenance woman in your early 20s. it's just being fucking insanely obsessed with youth..... when like... you're still young as fuck. like yes I made jokes about feeling ancient and old and w/e when i was 21.... but that doesnt mean that i became weirdly focused on trying to eliminate any crows feet and laugh lines....... that weren't even fucking on my face yet!!!!!! or cellulite that's on my legs.
moreover, for zendaya or other beauty influencers that may promote anti-aging products. they get paid either 10s of thousands of dollars or hundreds of thousands or maybe even up to possibly millions of dollars for promoting some bs estee lauder/revlon etc etc anti-age defying gravity super plumping and hydrating hyaluronic acid and idek retonoid vitamins C and E serum fuck shit.... against you, a random 21yo from god knows where in the US (usually).... like idek calabasis or houston or whatever the fuck with fuck knows how many low count followers (im assuming but probs not idek and idc)....
the people who I'll listen to about aging are people who have actually lived a life. like jamie lee curtis. like sandra oh. like leslie jones. like viola davis. idek just people who have ACTUALLY lived a life and are happy with aging, i guess (even if yes, they're famous and kinda unrelateable anyway). not some fucking stuck up rude asf early 20 something whose watched 3 fucking antiaging brain rot videos on tiktok and NOW thinks that they're the utmost expert on anti-aging hacks. and this is coming from someone whose nearly 30. fucking embrace getting older in your 20s. cherish it and use it wisely.
I say this as someone who, in 2020 at 25, nearly fucking died twice after a massive surgery. why the fuck should I give a fuck about crows feet???? laugh lines (ie lines of fucking J O Y)???? my cellulite??? when I'm 28 this year??? (*cue these TT brain rot girlies* EEEEWWWWW OLD HAG WHO DOESNT DO GOOD HIGH MAINTENANCE SELF CARE TO FIGHT THE SIGNS OF AGING EEEEWWWW!!!!!) I'm finally healthy again.... but realisitcally, YOU ARE the one that needs to look in the mirror and realise that being young and looking young ain't that crash hot, really. wise the fuck up and delete tiktok and escape anti-aging brain rot.... when you're still a kid (in a sense) stumbling about in your early 20s... stop giving a fuck about useless shit you can't avoid.

Presenting my revised redesign for Griffin the invisible man from Hotel Transylvania!
As I'm starting to get into the Halloween spirit, even though it's the end of August, I felt like revising my version of Grif. There's not too many differences from the version I posted in January. but I just wanted to share the ideas I developed in the months since and flex my improving digital art skills (I now have a Huion tablet so it's a lot easier!) As I did before, I tried to retain the art style from the movies. I also clearly am not the best at drawing slightly crusty middle aged dudes but I tried. I thought it would make sense and also be funny if his hair got really long over the course of the movies and came down to the middle of his back or longer by the time the fourth movie rolled around. I feel like he'd be the kind of guy who grows his hair out just because he likes it that way, and also, being invisible, he'd most likely forget to cut it or not worry about getting regular haircuts. I did consider putting a few gray streaks in there, but I'm leaving it as is for now. My version also has invisible clothes that he was able to make using his invisible serum - here's my reply on someone else's post where I go more into detail about this.
For all those coming at me and saying I'm fat shaming, being superficial, etc. because I drew him as a slimmer and more attractive man, hear me out:
I was honestly expecting a dude who physically looks like he's middle aged and past his prime - he's voiced by David Spade FFS, who is nearly 60 now - and I wouldn't have minded if he were balding or graying or a little out of shape. But what we got was not only absolutely painful to look at and anti-Semitic, at least according to some people, it completely disregarded all the hints that were dropped about Griffin's physical appearance and outline in the first three movies - TRUST ME, THEY'RE THERE. It's like the writers and character design didn't even watch the previous movies, and it was obvious enough due to the fact that they Drac and Johnny learn to appreciate each other all over again instead of further developing their relationship. Regarding Griffin, there were several instances in the first three movies where the outline of his body was hinted at, whether he was wearing visible clothes or wrapped in glowsticks, and ALL of them portray him as a slender man of average build and average height. There's also some promotional material for the first movie where he's wearing clothes and we can clearly see that he has a slimmer figure. We also saw that he has a jaw and neck, and even saw a partial outline of his head and face in HT3. NONE OF THIS lines up with what we got in HT4.
I have absolutely nothing against body representation in the media. In fact, I am ALL FOR IT. But if the HT crew wanted Griffin to be fat, they should have established that from the beginning. They just went ahead and completely changed his entire body, both his size and his height, just for cheap laughs and shock value. I should also say that Griffin's larger body in HT4 was NEGATIVE representation. They had him dressed in these horribly undersized clothes, including a shirt that looks like it was made for a little girl, for the bulk of the movie, and didn't even have him in proper clothing ONCE. Also, it all seemed to connotate that fat was equal to ugly. It all just felt extremely mean-spirited. Oh and did I not mention that he was much taller here too! He towered over Wayne, Murray, Drac, practically the whole gang, and he was just a head shorter than Frank if I remember correctly. AND it made NO SENSE that he didn't know he was balding!! He has hands, it's not like he couldn't have touched his head every once in a while! OH, and his torso was way longer and he had these little stick arms and legs! You know what, I'm just going to have to make a drawing comparing what he was supposed to look like and what he looked like in HT4 just to make it clearer.
But yeah, they messed him up badly, just for the sake of unfunny jokes, and he. deserved. so. much. better.
I'm hoping to tackle the other three guys (Murray, Wayne, and Frank) soon! ESPECIALLY Murray, because they did him just as dirty as Griffin.

What Are the Best Anti-Aging Approaches for Younger People?
Can you be too young to have BOTOX®, fillers, or even a facelift? Philadelphia area’s Cross Medical Group explains that although cosmetic treatments and surgeries have long been the go-to for people wanting to address signs of aging, younger people are increasingly turning to preventive measures to maintain their youthful appearance and stave off the signs of aging in the first place.
In the past, people would often wait until they started seeing more severe signs of aging before taking steps to address changes to their skin. “Prejuvenation” refers to the process of combining a good skincare routine with non-surgical aesthetic treatments to keep skin looking youthful. Some younger patients could also benefit from more dramatic treatments. From targeted skincare routines to non-invasive cosmetic procedures and surgical options, there's a multitude of strategies available for younger individuals looking to defy the effects of time and preserve their skin's vitality.
Why Is Early Prevention Important in Skincare?
Prevention is key when it comes to anti-aging skincare. It’s typically easier to prevent signs of aging than to correct them after they have become established. It can also be less expensive to prevent wrinkles, shifting contours, and other changes than to correct them.
While aging is a natural process, certain lifestyle factors and environmental stressors can accelerate the skin's aging process, leading to premature wrinkles, fine lines, and sagging. With this in mind, there are several benefits to adopting a proactive approach to skincare.
What Are the Essential Components of Anti-Aging Skincare for Younger People?
Sun Protection
Sun exposure is one of the primary contributors to premature aging. Incorporating a broad-spectrum sunscreen into your daily skincare regimen is essential, regardless of your age. Use a sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher and reapply every couple of hours.
Hydration
Proper hydration is crucial for maintaining skin elasticity and suppleness. Younger individuals should use a lightweight, non-comedogenic moisturizer to keep their skin hydrated without clogging pores.
Antioxidants
Antioxidants such as vitamin C, vitamin E, and green tea extract help protect the skin from free radical damage caused by environmental pollutants and UV radiation. Look for serums or creams containing these ingredients to neutralize oxidative stress and promote skin health.
Gentle Cleansing
Harsh cleansers can strip the skin of its natural oils and disrupt its moisture barrier, leading to dryness and irritation. Choose a gentle, pH-balanced cleanser that effectively removes impurities without causing damage to the skin barrier.
Exfoliation
Regular exfoliation helps slough off dead skin cells and promote cell turnover, revealing smoother, more radiant skin underneath. Incorporate a gentle chemical exfoliant into your skincare routine once per week to maintain a healthy glow.
What Are the Best Cosmetic Treatment Options for Younger People?
Even when you’re younger, it’s still important to consider how your skin will evolve with time. As mentioned above, applying sunscreen and avoiding too much exposure to UV rays can go a long way toward delaying signs of aging when you’re in your 20s and 30s. Additionally, you can explore non-surgical treatments that offer subtle enhancements with minimal downtime, making them ideal for busy lifestyles. Treatments such as BOTOX® injections and dermal fillers can reduce early signs of aging once they appear.
For patients who have noticed more significant signs of aging developing, a facelift improves contour changes on the lower two-thirds of the face. The procedure can involve removing or repositioning skin to reduce sagging skin in a way that isn’t possible with non-surgical approaches.
Traditional thinking was that facelifts were only meant for patients aged 60 and older, but an increasing number of younger people are trying facelifts rather than waiting to allow aging to take its course. Having a facelift as a younger patient has some benefits, such as the fact that your recovery process will be quicker, you can enjoy a more youthful-looking aging process overall, and the results will look more natural.
Contact the Philadelphia area’s Cross Medical Group for more advice about how cosmetic treatments can help you to maintain a youthful look and address or delay signs of aging. Call (215) 561-9100 or submit a contact form to request a consultation if you would like to discuss aesthetic treatments.

Skin Care Essentials
A good skincare routine can be the key to healthy skin. It’s a good idea to use a cleanser, exfoliator and moisturizer daily. You can also add in a serum to target specific concerns and a mask once a week for extra pampering. But, with so many products out there, it can be hard to know what’s essential for your skin care essentials wardrobe.
We’ve put together a list of the essentials that every beauty lover should have in their arsenal:
Cleanser
It’s important to use a gentle cleanser to remove makeup, sweat and oil from your face and neck. This can help prevent clogged pores and acne breakouts. We recommend cleansing your face in the morning and evening.
Exfoliator
This can help unclog pores and improve your complexion by removing dead skin cells and revealing fresh, new cells underneath. Avoid over-exfoliating as this can cause irritation. We recommend exfoliating 2-3 times a week.
Serum
Adding an antioxidant serum to your morning and night routine is one of the best ways to minimize signs of aging and environmental damage. These can include wrinkles, dark spots, fine lines and sagging skin. For the best results, look for serums with ingredients like hyaluronic acid, vitamin C and ferulic acid.
Moisturizer
Your skin needs to be well-hydrated at all times, but especially during the day when it’s exposed to UV rays. A lightweight, non-greasy moisturizer that’s formulated with ingredients like hyaluronic or glycerin can help plump your skin and make it look smooth and radiant.
Eye Cream
We’ve all suffered from those pesky dark circles under our eyes, and there are some great products that can help to reduce their appearance. Look for a product that contains ingredients that can be soothing, such as caffeine, peptides and hyaluronic acid. You can also use a cooling mask once a week to soothe your under-eye area.
Retinol
Anti-aging and collagen-boosting retinol is an amazing ingredient that can slow down the signs of aging and give your skin a youthful glow. We recommend starting with a mild retinol and gradually increasing the frequency of application if needed.
We’ve got you covered with our Breakout Clearing Foaming Wash, which has a hero ingredient of salicylic acid, which is ace at clearing up those pesky blackheads and whiteheads. It’s paired with anti-inflammatory botanicals and natural oils, so it’ll leave your skin feeling refreshed and not irritated.
Best HealthCare Products, where we prioritise your comfort and convenience. At our store, we focus on providing top-tier NDIS continence products to alleviate the challenges of incontinence. Our dedication lies in curating a selection of premium brands at the most competitive prices, ensuring that you not only save money but also receive unparalleled quality.

When 30 Is The New 20-Top Anti-Aging Products to Use if You Are Above 30
Tumblr media
Ageing is a natural process that happens to all living beings. While we may or may not become wiser with our advancing age, we definitely start looking old. And that is something that does not sit well with us. We all want to look young and have fresh, glowing, youthful skin at all times. This makes it important that you put in your time and effort into your skin right from your late 20s and early 30s. Introducing the right anti-ageing products into your daily skincare routine will help you ward off wrinkles, fine lines and other ageing signs right at the onset. Read along to learn more about what your skincare routine in the 30s should look like and what products you should be using to make your routine a balanced and rounded one.
Choosing the right products is the first step to achieving a balanced skincare routine. It is important that you understand your skin type well before choosing a product. Identifying the signs of ageing correctly and using products that target them specifically also plays a major role. Here are some of the products that would be ideal while building a skincare regimen.
A Gentle Cleanser: Cleansing is always the first step in your skin care regimen. Caked makeup, along with natural skin oils and dirt make your skin look very unhealthy and lead to acne breakouts. Use a gentle cleanser without fail at night and in the morning after waking up. Cleansing ensures that the dirt and grime and the makeup are well removed from your skin. Clean skin also means that the anti-ageing serums and lotions that you apply get well absorbed. While choosing a cleanser, make sure that it is gentle and does not cause too much of exfoliation. Also, choose one that suits your skin type. Harch, chemical-loaded ones can irritate your skin and dry out all the natural oils, causing more damage than good.
Sun-screen: The importance of good sunscreen in skin care cannot be emphasised enough. The harmful UV rays of the sun are the primary cause for your skin to age prematurely. The harsh rays damage the skin and dry it out. They also lead to the development of wrinkles and age spots. Understanding the potential of sun rays to cause damage and investing in a broad-spectrum sunscreen is the foundation for building an effective skin care regimen. Choose a good sunscreen with an SPF of 30 and above. Apply sunscreen every day, even on the days when the sun is hiding behind dark clouds.
Antioxidants: When the skin is exposed to environmental stressors, there are free radicals that are formed. The free radicals cause a lot of damage to your skin. They make your skin look aged and dark by giving rise to fine lines, wrinkles and hyperpigmentation. Antioxidants help to reverse the action and thus neutralise these free radicals. Look for products that contain antioxidants like vitamin E, vitamin C and ferulic acid. These products not only combat the effects of free radicals but also even out and brighten your complexion.
Peptides: Our skin contains collagen fibres that provide elasticity and firmness. As we age, the natural reserves of collagen decrease gradually and our skin sags and becomes wrinkled. Peptide-rich products help boost the synthesis of new collagen thus reversing the effects of ageing. These peptides also improve the barrier function of the outer layer of the skin, thus neutralising the detrimental effects of external pollutants on the skin.
Exfoliators: Exfoliation is a process where the skin’s upper layer consisting of dead cells and dirt is scrubbed off. Exfoliators help to improve the appearance by revealing the fresh skin layer and improving the production of new, healthy cells. Scrubbing off the upper damaged layer of the skin also helps get rid of wrinkles and pigmentation. Include a good exfoliator like glycolic acid in your skincare routine. You can also opt for natural exfoliators like homemade scrubs. Be careful not to exfoliate too much, as it can harm your skin and leave it red and raw.
Niacinamide: Also known as Vitamin B3, niacinamide has been known for its numerous benefits on the skin. It improves the skin’s barrier function, reduces hyperpigmentation, and enhances the production of collagen. When used regularly, niacinamide-containing products can help to reduce dark circles, even out the skin tone, and make you look fresh and bright. Additionally, niacinamide is extremely gentle on the skin, making it suitable for all types of skin.
Under-eye Creams: The skin under your eyes is extremely delicate. This is often the first area where the noticeable signs of ageing appear. You may get dark circles, puffiness or crow’s feet under your eyes that will make people comment on how old you look. A specialised under-eye cream can help you address these concerns. Ingredients like peptides, collagen and antioxidants help to repair the damage and provide hydration to the skin, giving you a youthful radiance.
Night Creams : Night time is when your entire body is in rest and rejuvenation mode. For your skin, nighttime is for repair and restoration. Look for dedicated night creams that contain collagen, antioxidants, hyaluronic acid and peptides. Applying night creams before you go to bed will help your skin to repair the damages endured during the day effectively. These creams also help in providing the right nutrients to your skin. Make sure your skin is cleansed well before you apply the night cream. Clean skin ensures that the cream is absorbed well, thus optimising the effects of the night cream.
Hyaluronic Acid: Hyaluronic acid is a natural compound that occurs in the body. It is responsible for keeping the skin hydrating by keeping water trapped in the cells. Hyaluronic helps keep the skin soft, supple and youthful. As we age, the amount of hyaluronic acid in the skin decreases, and our skin starts showing signs of ageing like fine lines, wrinkles, age spots, etc. Including hyaluronic acid externally helps combat these problems.
Sheet Masks: Sheet masks are a delightful way of treating your skin to some extra care and love. Sheet masks come loaded with several anti-ageing ingredients like vitamin C, collagen and hyaluronic acid. They provide an intense boost of hydration and nourishment that leaves your skin feeling super fresh and rejuvenated. Use a sheet mask regularly to see noticeable differences in your skin.
Investing time, energy and money in building a good skincare routine is something that will yield only positive returns. Using appropriate anti-ageing products from the beginning will ensure that the signs of ageing like wrinkles, fine lines and dark spots, are kept at bay. Using products rich in hyaluronic acid, antioxidants, peptides, and collagen will help you maintain a youthful and radiant complexion as you age. Remember that consistency and patience are the keys to good skin. It is never too late to start, and if you have not started working on your skin, the time is now!

I feel like if skincare companies r not gonna start putting labels on their chemicals saying "do not use if you are like 6 years old" maybe they should make stores put warning signs on adult skincare products if they are gonna be selling them to kids, just little signs saying "hey this is for old ppl skin so maybe chill if you r still unable to tie your shoelaces correctly?" Like i dont expect parents to know what their kids are buying or they r giving them bcuz i doubt most ppl know what the fuck they r buying when it comes to skincare, most ppl arent gonna be 5 articles deep on what its the perfect serum for their undereyes and doing comparisons on korean face masks, most ppl r just buying these stuff bcuz either somebody told them its good, it was the first recommended by google after typing their skin issue or it looks like it will do the job or something...
There was something really dystopic about seeing a kid using a AHA and retinol serum... like i dont think there should be 7 yr old with missing babyteeth making GRWM videos were they put more shit on their skin than i do in a year-- but every morning...
Like obviously this is just a ploy to get kids permanently hooked on costly anti-aging products for these serums, acids and creams are damaging their skin and will probably age them faster, if not cause some other myriad of skin issues... so they keep buying and buying to combat the damage they are doing to their skin.
I feel like raising a daughter in this day and age most be utterly mortifying.

Tumblr media
Anti-Acne Tips for a Clear Complexion
Let’s read more how to remove pimples naturally and permanently,
1. Gentle Cleansing
Use a gentle cleanser or anti acne face wash without any fragrance to begin your skincare routine.
Wash your face twice a day in a gentle manner to get rid of extra oil, dirt, as well as bacteria without dehydrating your skin.
2. Moisturize Regularly
To keep your skin hydrated, use a moisturizer that is not comedogenic. Despite what the general public believes, moisturizing is recommended for all skin types because it keeps the skin's natural barrier unchanged and reduces the production of excess oil.
3. Avoid Touching Your Face
Throughout the day, refuse your desire to touch your face. Bacteria on your hands can cause irritation and breakouts. Be sure your hands are clean before touching your face.
4. Choose Non-Comedogenic Products
Choose skincare and makeup, anti-acne products that are designated as non-comedogenic, which means they are not going to block your pores. It helps in stopping the growth of fresh acne lesions.
5. Regular Exfoliation

Excessive exfoliation, yet, can worsen acne by removing your skin from its natural oils.

Accurate cleansing is the cornerstone of healthy skin.
The key to effective skincare is a fresh start. You should begin your routine with a mild cleanser. It removes surface debris like dirt, oil, and makeup to prepare the skin for further treatment. Choose a cleaner without sulphates if you want to keep your skin from being irritated.
Exfoliation, the Secret to a Younger Appearance
Use an effective exfoliant to say goodbye to dry, flaky skin. This action stimulates cell renewal, resulting in glowing new skin. Try to find solutions using beta hydroxy acids like salicylic acid or alpha hydroxy acids like glycolic acid. You should definitely go with the Exfoliating Solution.
Elixir of Hydration: Preserve Moisture
If you want clear skin, you must drink plenty of water. Hydrating Cream is a high-quality moisturiser that helps prevent dry skin and keeps skin supple. Your skin will keep its elasticity and youthful glow thanks to its high hyaluronic acid and antioxidant content.
Sun Protection Factor Shield: Block UV Rays and Preserve Skin
Put on sunscreen before leaving the house. The risks of UV radiation, including premature ageing and skin damage, are very serious. Select a broad-spectrum sunscreen with at least 30 SPF. Sunscreen is a necessity, and Daily Defence SPF is a non-greasy, effective option.
Serums: Precise Care for Specific Skin Issues
You can only have effective skincare with serums. They can be tailored to address issues like acne, dark spots, or wrinkles. To delay the ageing process, try Retinol Serum. Vitamins C and E have been added for extra glow.
Eye Cream: Banish Dark Circles and Puffiness
The eyes are the portals to the soul and must be treated with care. Consider purchasing a hydrating eye lotion, such as Brightening Eye lotion. It lessens the appearance of under-eye bags and puffiness so that your eyes shine.
Nourish with Antioxidants: Feed Your Skin
Skin damage from the environment can be prevented by consuming antioxidants. Use an anti-ageing serum or moisturiser loaded with vitamin C and other antioxidants. This is a perfect application for Antioxidant Elixir.
Nighttime Repair: Beauty Sleep in a Bottle
Use a good night cream to aid your skin's natural repair process while you sleep. Peptides and hyaluronic acid are used in Overnight Renewal Cream to speed up the recovery time.

The Power of Peptides in Skincare: A Guide to Peptides Serum
Tumblr media
In the ever-evolving world of skincare, one term that has been gaining immense popularity is "peptides." You've probably heard about peptides serum and peptides skincare. But what exactly are peptides, and why are they making waves in the beauty industry? In this blog, we'll delve into the fascinating world of peptides and their remarkable role in your skincare routine.
What Are Peptides?
Peptides are small chains of amino acids that are the building blocks of proteins in our skin. Think of them as tiny messengers that communicate with our skin cells, instructing them to perform various functions. These functions can range from boosting collagen production to reducing the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.
The Role of Peptides in Skincare
Collagen Production: One of the key benefits of peptides in skincare is their ability to stimulate collagen production. Collagen is a protein that provides structural support to our skin. As we age, collagen production decreases, leading to sagging and wrinkles. Peptides serum can help counteract this by signaling to your skin that it needs to produce more collagen. This results in firmer, plumper skin with improved elasticity.
Reducing Wrinkles and Fine Lines: Peptides are also known for their anti-aging properties. They can help diminish the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines by encouraging skin regeneration. This leads to a smoother and more youthful complexion.
Enhanced Hydration: Some peptides, like hyaluronic acid peptides, can aid in retaining moisture. They work as humectants, helping the skin to hold on to water, thus providing a well-hydrated, dewy look.
Skin Repair: Peptides can assist in repairing damaged skin. They help in the healing process by enhancing cell turnover and reducing inflammation.
Brightening Skin: Certain peptides can also help in reducing pigmentation and dark spots, giving your skin a more even and radiant tone.
How to Incorporate Peptides into Your Skincare Routine
Now that you're convinced of the benefits of peptides, let's talk about how to incorporate them into your skincare regimen:
Peptides Serum: Start by using a high-quality peptides serum. This should be applied after cleansing and toning, but before moisturizing. The serum will penetrate deeply into your skin, delivering the peptides where they are needed most.
Consistency is Key: For peptides to work effectively, consistency is crucial. Use your peptides serum daily, preferably in the morning and evening, for visible results.
Pair with Sunscreen: Since peptides can make your skin more susceptible to the sun's harmful UV rays, always pair them with a broad-spectrum sunscreen during the day to protect your skin.
Patience: While some may notice results within a few weeks, the full benefits of peptides may take a few months to become apparent. Be patient and stick to your skincare routine.
Consult a Dermatologist: If you have specific skincare concerns or are unsure about which peptides products to use, it's a good idea to consult a dermatologist. They can provide personalized recommendations based on your skin type and concerns.
Conclusion
Peptides serum and peptides skincare are the latest buzz in the beauty industry for good reason. These tiny but powerful ingredients can transform your skin, helping you achieve a radiant and youthful complexion. Whether you're battling fine lines, wrinkles, or simply want to maintain healthy, glowing skin, peptides are a valuable addition to your skincare routine. Embrace the power of peptides and unveil a new chapter in your skincare journey. Your skin will thank you for it!
