gonna have to go with Stick Season (We’ll All Be Here Forever) by Noah Kahan. it came out this year and also it just Hit. i’d listened to the original stick season release before and was like meh and then listened to the extended version when it was released and just couldn’t stop

14. Favorite book you read this year?

i know i have mentioned it like 10 million times but Daughers of the Deer by Danielle Daniel. read the whole thing in a day i just couldn’t put it down and absolutely Sobbed my eyes out at the end even though i knew what was coming. a beautiful, powerful, absolutely heartbreaking novel.

Hi Corn. I don’t remember if I asked you this on anon before, but I have a question about Laito’s Daylight CD art. Is the white thing on the right side of his chest a sword going through him? Or is it just paper or something with blood near it? Idk why it would be a sword though, it was just my first thought when I saw this art. Sorry for the silly question but I’m confused about what it is. Thanks in advance if you answer this. :)

Hello!! And no question on this blog is a silly one!!

I just think it's some artistic ~aesthetic~ to add to the composition of the drawing. There's a lot of other triangles around him, and I haven't listened to daylight yet so I can't say for sure what it might be but maybe its glass? Or again maybe to just add some more texture and shapes to the composition, that just happens a lot in art. You can see a lot of triangles in the background and even how his clothes are shaded, it just adds to the general movement and spaces out the triangle/geometric texture. I don't think it's going through his chest though, theres no type of visual indicator that insists otherwise! (like no lines or color of blood on the triangle and it also misses the blood spot just slightly)

Danny is just a kid ya know? Like he is just a little guy. A baby really. 14? Tiny child! Look at him, he needs to be protected. Someone has to help this poor little dude. I mean he forgets to use his own powers to avoid attacks all the time.

Anyway cut to Batfam not knowing all of Dannys power set cause the lil dingus keeps forgetting he can do that stuff in the heat of battle.

Danny uses his invisibility all the time… to avoid being followed. But in a fight? Oopsies hes too busy thinking of funny one liners to realise he could do that.

Intangibility? Give the guy a break. I mean who calls themselves condiment king. Even he was stunned.

He so rarely actually uses his biggest advantage powers that the League doubt he actually has them. He, like any naive child, trusts them and reported fully on his power set. Instead of just asking him to demonstrate his powers they instead start watching him and try to find evidence of his powers.

At least they know duplication was true since they watched him make a copy of himself to go to the bathroom and not miss any of his fav tv show.

I LOVE chibi feral Machete so much. Like sure he's usually a the long pale noodle of the catholic church BUT right now he's giving chihuahua energy that I miss so bad from my time in kennels specializing in the lol.."non-social" dogs that couldn't handle group play time. i am so sorry to ask for help once again, but i am extremely desperate and strapped for cash

my older sister (who i live with) did not pay our electric bill this month, and i, who is on a much lower wage than she is, had to pay for it all and therefore have no more money for rides. she has also decided to leave town for the weekend, leaving her violent dog that has bitten me multiple times and her two sons at home and for me to take care of which means they’re going to eat my groceries which i have bought just for me and bought on food stamps, and on top of that i need money to even get to my job and i’m working through commissions at the same time as well
