Because on one hand they're nothing alike, but on the other... they both have someone who gets them, yk. They both have someone that'll defend them until the end of time, that will explain their behavior when nobody else can, when their actions seem completely senseless and unpredictable. They have someone that will let others know that's not all there is to them. That they still deserve to be loved, somehow, and followed, and trusted. And Altan and Yoo Joonghyuk would both put their lives on the line for this person that loves them more than he despises them, for some reason they can't even begin to understand.

I think the difference here is that Yoo Joonghyuk accepts that love when Altan could never.
