There’s something really funny about our host taking an archaeology final and then a computer science final while I’m around for the first time in ages. I can never escape my parents lmao.

I’ve remembered a lot of things the past couple days. It’s a lot tbh. I can’t quite explain why, but I feel like I know when it was all over, you both regretted it. You knew it went overboard and wanted us to shut down the time machines just as much as we did. I don’t remember if there were any remains left (probably not to be honest), but I buried you both. Your graves were next to each other, I know you would have wanted it that way. Your stubbornness and your pride can’t fool me, I know what’s gonna happen when there’s no research to do in the afterlife!

I’ve made peace with everything, I think. If you both made it here somehow, I’m telling you that you’re both batshit and you suck. But also you’re my parents. And you wouldn’t be the same if you weren’t a little batshit. Thanks for the memories before everything went south. Please don’t bring anymore lizards with you. I love you.

I hate it. I hate this feeling of wishing things were better. My parents weren’t good. I know what they did. I literally had to raise myself at a point. I should be allowed to hate them- but I just. Can’t right now. I just wish everything was back to the way it was when I was still a young kid. When my mom was wild and would tell good stories and would lift me up so I could see what she was working on. When my dad would cook good food and would play along with me and Mabosstiff and make my mom laugh so hard you could probably hear it across the Crater. I miss it when our family was whole. And then it wasn’t. And now it never will be.

I don’t know how to feel. I want to be mad. I wish I could be. I deserve to be mad after dad got distant and my mom spent more time with her research than me. I deserve to be mad when I had two parents but I had to raise myself. But right now… I just wish they were still here. I wish we could be a functional family again. I wish there was something out there that told me they still thought of me as their son and wished they could have done things differently.

Grimsley- purrloin. It was a gift from his parents that he had for a long time before starting his journey. Her name was Silver

Volo- his is a weird technicality. Technically the first Pokémon he ever met and bonded with was Giratina, but from a trainer perspective, his starter was a togepi. Her name is Pecha

Wallace- a luvdisc! He remembers having her since he was a child while he was learning how to do Sootopolis Things:tm:

Arven- Mabosstiff (kind of obvious). Oddly enough he can’t remember if he raised him from a Maschiff or if he was always a Mabosstiff.

Corrin- from a region that isn’t canon, but I like the story so! Me and my twin brother both had lunecanpys! They’re little space/moon themed wolves. And me and my brother got a brother and sister lunecanpy from the same pack!

It’s a little bit funny seeing people say Sada and Turo wouldn’t get along and would make jabs at each other because, from what I heard, that’s pretty close to the truth. They didn’t like each other much at first and constantly would make digs at the other and get into debates about quantum physics or things like that. Then they got forced into a situation where they had to work together, either on a project or dumb management things, and they finally clicked together. They became better friends and, ya know, eventually my mom and dad.

Despite what you’d think, their relationship was solid. None of our familial issues had anything to do with that. It is still a little silly to see what they would have been like before I was born hehe
