Just some images I made based off of some recent memes based around comfort characters (or in the latter's case, comfort animals).

THE BIRB MAN IS HERE!!
Okay so, a couple months back, I decided to commission a plush of Ansel Beauregard from “Arlo the Alligator Boy” (specifically in a Chibi sort of style since I thought it’d look cute - and it does! ^v^) from the amazing plush artist known as Michael K. AKA mdkarydas.
I had already commissioned him a couple years back to make me a White Pantera plush (as seen in the second photo) so I knew he was gonna do a great job and I was absolutely right! ^v^
The Ansel plush he made me is not only super detailed and design-accurate but also extremely soft and super huggable (seriously I cannot get over how huggable he is omg) and just exactly what I wanted!
Michael has a real talent for making super high quality plushies (specifically OC and animated movie/cartoon-based plushies) so if you’ve got a character you want plushie-fied, he’s your guy. His commissions are seriously worth every penny! ^v^ you can find him on Twitter (mdkarydas) or on Reddit/instagram (MichaelKToymaker) if you wanna see more of his work/ask about commissions.

Re-watched 'Arlo the Alligator Boy' for the first time in a while. I forgot how good of a movie it is. Please enjoy these sketches of my favorite boys!

Autistic Headcannons
Just thought I'd put this together for Autism Awareness Month (really, it should be autism acceptance, but awareness is fine too).
Speaking as someone on the spectrum, it feels nice to see stuff like this.
Hilda (Hilda)
Donatello (Almost every incarnation, but especially Rise and Mutant Mayhem)
Jake Peralta (Brooklyn 99)
Alia (Arlo the Alligator Boy/I Heart Arlo)
The Tick (The Tick)
And I treasure them all.
I should also note that there's an upcoming indie animation with explicitly autistic characters. Specifically, Lumi and the Great Big Galaxy.
Art credit to @starteas
Something tells me me and this show are going to get along swimmingly...
...which is why I plan on funding it. And so should you!
Here's the link: https://t.co/6qRm23fgv1
PS: I'm definitely doing fan-art of it very soon.

only after rewatching the arlo movie did i realize how much FORESHADOWING there was about ansel. i've got a bad memory so i cant list it all off the top of my head but come on. "my 'perch'"? the way he drops feathers when he runs (which are probably implied to be from his coat, but since we only see the shadow they could very well be from his wings)? the whole phoenix metaphor thing? the way his image in the wave has wings for a split second??? howww did i not notice that the first timeee

So like, you know how Arlo really doesn’t like the taste of snails? What if Ansel’s the same way? (You just know he forced himself to eat at at least one fancy French restaurant during his ‘trying to fit in with high society’ phase)
When the others learn this, Arlo gets excited that he has another thing in common with his dad, but Tony - the chef that he is - sees it as a challenge and thinks he can try to get them to like snails through his cooking (think snail-topped pizza or snail-filled calzones)
Arlo’s willing to give it a try and drags Ansel along with him, but by the third dish/attempt these two are just NOT having a good time. It’s basically like that one Bob’s Burgers ep where Linda tries to help Teddy learn to like sushi
