Lyra is what Astarion would call 'naive'.

Their relationship has their ups and downs, especially regarding her advising caution in his quest for power. But she's accepting of his condition, understanding of his trauma and generally good spirited in the face of his whining. She particularly enjoys his banter and has become very attached to this naughty cat in elven form! (and very determined to rip his master's head off with her bare teeth!)

Anwen does not have a very close relationship with Rytlock, but she enjoys working with him.

2. Any sleep habits either had to get used to?

Hmm. Not too much, as neither of them do anything too weird in their sleep, and both of them are up at odd hours (which is only an issue when said hours conflict with each other). The biggest thing was just getting used to sharing a bed with someone else on a regular basis in general, as that was a new thing for them. :)

6. When did they realize they loved each other?

Rel - in one of the brief quiet moments between LWS1 and LWS2, though he was very aware of his crush before that point. It was in a quiet moment and a quiet realization, too--nothing big, just watching Trahearne read during a break from paperwork and managing things and Rel then going hmm, I see, my crush has become a bigger problem somewhere along the line.

Trahearne - during the Shadow of the Dragon attack. It had been a while since they'd both been directly on the front lines of a battle like that, and Trahearne had a moment of realizing that his priorities had shifted at some point. Nothing like making split second decisions as someone who needs to be in charge and realizing that you're far more focused on one person's safety than you intended to be.

11. Which member is more physically affectionate?

Rel! He grew up learning to be pretty casual with physical affection (and surrounded by a decent group of friends/people), so it comes a bit easier to him. (Neither of them are particularly shy or reticent with physical affection, Rel just has the top spot.)

12. Which member is more verbally affectionate?

They're on a similar level here as well, I think, but Trahearne by a bit. He's certainly the partner more well-versed in poetry :)

Post-Combat Rotation

Airell leaned over their knees, taking heavy breaths, while Trahearne desummoned his minions. The once beautiful plain was now devastated with awakened corpses laying in their own tar puddles. The fight was over. Airell and Trahearne got to live another day. "Well done, commander." Airell straightened up as if electrocuted and looked at him with their eyes wide open. "What?" Trahearne raised an eyebrow, a shadow of a smile gracing his lips. "Nothing. You've just... it's been a while since you've said that, that's all." They answered, not hiding their shock. They saw him smile a bit wider at the sight in a quite comforting manner. It was so soft and similar to how he used to smile all those years ago. It seemed the realisation of that hit both of them. Airell and Trahearne looked at each other. They stood so close to one another. Perhaps too close. A hand brushed against a cheek. It stayed there for a second. For two. For three. Trahearne's lips were so soft, as soft as they remembered.

Our main one when everyone is there is Umbrella Academy, I'm watching Mandalorian with my sister, Lower Decks with my dad, Far Scape with my sister and dad, Leverage with my sister and mom (though I am also watching that one for the 17th time indeoendently...) and when my sister's boyfriend is over we're watching Warehouse 13.

My own lore for Shiro Tagachi (PART 2):

Here to continue my personal lore for Shiro, as requested by @archesa​ and my lore intertwined with @rag-gw2​.

So, Shiro made a promise to Dante’s soul in the Underworld that he’d make Sarah his wife, so he developed a plan. (To quote Tony Stark in Avengers...”Not a great plan.”)

He disguised himself as Dante, and went to her house, making up a story about how he arrived home from his trip early. He later showered her with affection, got her jewels and anything she wanted (if you’re curious where he got the money for that, the man probably ended up working two jobs).

Of course, this wouldn’t last. Sarah eventually found out the truth about what happened to her real husband, and demanded to know the impostor’s identity. Dropping the disguise, Shiro Tagachi had revealed himself. Due to being Weh No Su, or Closer to the Stars, she was able to see Shiro and begged him for answers.

He explained that Dante had died at sea, to which Sarah felt no grief. She never truly loved her husband, considering he never shared any love towards her. Despite the deception, Sarah felt something for the Betrayer of Cantha.

This is where it gets weird AF and honestly devoid of any logic whatsoever. Please don’t judge me too harshly.

Instead of turning him away like any sane person would, she allowed Shiro to stay. She had fallen in love with him as he had with her. But, pursuing a relationship with him would be dangerous, especially with the info bomb she dropped on him next.

She was pregnant. With his child.

Now gather around the fire, take a seat and a cuppa tea because I'm about to tell you about Anwen and Trahearne's wedding.

They had been together for four years, and prevailed together against four supposed end of the world, so a marriage seemed a little superfluous perhaps. But they both wanted it – an intimate ceremony, a simple gathering of friends and close family, a joyful evening filled with music, wine and illuminations, a delightful night of games, talks and watching Faren ridicule himself as only he knew how, an occasion to profess their undying love, and celebrate the friendships forged in adversity, to remember those they had lost and honour them by living well and fully.

But of course, things could not be that simple — freed of their ranks and titles as they were, Anwen and Trahearne remained public figures, heroes, and some people (*cough* DR's highest circles of society *cough* Anise *cough cough*) were most determined that their love story could not be wasted on a secret wedding in some backwater strait bordering a long dead kingdom on a still moribond continent – and only after many a peripeteia were they to finally stand before one another and pronounce their vows.

The ceremony itself was just as they dreamed. A hand fastening, pronounced by one of their closest most dearest friends, in the seclusion of Lightfoot Passage, under the light of fireflies and the canopy of wild orrian flowers. And a party where they could all drop their masks and pretenses and enjoy the moment, safe from judgemental prying eyes.

💍 Does your OC have a specific item that is priceless to them but may (or may not) be completely worthless to someone else? Is there a story behind this item or is it just because they like it so much?

Kerra has a couple of these! She still has the little satchel she was given when she first awoke just outside the Grove--it has bits of her pod in it, along with a few different herbs, including lavender. And she holds onto the doll that she helped make for Aurene when she was a hatchling.

🎁 What would be the perfect gift to buy your OC? What would be the worst gift? Are they themselves any good at gifting things or are they really indecisive? How do they wrap their presents?

Good gifts for Kerra: something useful (can be used for its intended purpose and Kerra would indeed have occasion to use whatever it is), thoughtful (the person put sentiment behind the gift and truly meant it positively as something that either they thought Kerra would like or something they would have liked to receive themselves), or handmade (never necessary but always loved). Bad gifts for Kerra: not much, honestly, unless you decided to be an ass and buy her an urn full of heroic ashes or something xD In all seriousness, she'd be happy with most gifts unless a) it's just not something she'd really ever use, though she'd never be rude/confrontational about that, or b) it's specifically poking at trauma in some way.

Kerra's pretty good at gift-giving! She's not an expert, but she's usually able to find something that the person will like pretty quickly. And she doesn't usually wrap presents in the standard sense; she's more likely (unless this would be impractical for some reason) to do the put-object-in-a-nice-bag-with-nice-tissue-paper kinda wrapping.

💧 What makes your OC lose hope, what makes them give up and feel helpless? Have they ever given up on something really important or let go of a dream? What are some of their biggest regrets? Would they ever try again (if they’re able to)?

Ah boy. All right. Well.

Kerra is not someone who gives up on important things easily, and she has historically been terrible at letting things go. She wouldn't let her brother go and very easily could have died trying to save him; she, despite having a not-so-great relationship with her Wyld Hunt, always intended to finish it; and, she felt so strongly about both her job and the people she loved that when she died she refused to stay dead. The one thing that really made her lose hope was losing Aurene. Luckily in my canon, the period before Aurene's resurrection was under a week, but Kerra did not sleep at all that entire time and was only avoiding breaking down by doing literally everything she could to distract herself. She was in Sun's Refuge doing anything that needed to be done, for the most part. But if it had been any longer than that, she would have fully shattered, probably. It was (very! understandably!!) hard on her.

As for regrets? People she couldn't save. Never being able to be young without the weight of expectations hanging over her head. Not being able to fully protect her own children from expectations either. Not being able to prevent any number of things, including the Pact fleet crash...I could go on. She has a lot.

(And I think the "trying again" is more on things she's given up on in the past, which isn't super applicable here. So I'll just go with no.)

“What sort of wizard is he?” she asked, perplexed. “He must have need of your assistance in some other way! Does he not mix potions or practice experiments? Collect scrolls or require the purchase of unusual ingredients?”

“How do you know so much about magic?” I asked, frowning.

“I wasn’t always a poor mother struggling to make ends meet in the Field Ward, darling. Well?”

I pondered the question but wasn’t quite sure how to answer. The truth was, I didn’t really know what sort of wizard my master was. He was clearly independently wealthy and had no need to ply his trade. Certainly he spent long hours in his laboratory and often talked to me about whatever spell he was attempting to perfect over dinner.

“Evocation,” I said, thinking of the nearly indestructible wall in his laboratory, and of the occasional boom! that resounded from below. “Though he is skilled in abjuration and conjuration, as well.”

“Oh, dear. I hope he hasn’t conjured anything unpleasant.”

“Only the occasional elemental. But he’s very clever about it. I’ve seen them try to trick him, and he just smiles and laughs.”

“He sounds more foolhardy than clever, though I suppose the two are often intertwined. And does he not share this with you? Assist you in advancing your own abilities in conjuration?”

“I don’t have any desire to conjure mephits and imps,” I admitted. “But he invites me to watch. And he loans me books he thinks I might enjoy, though not always about magic.”

I do think there’s life out there, but I very much doubt they ever visited us.

My boyfriend is the most cuddly and patient giant teddybear I know.

Sure, tortoises are affectionate, snakes are cuddly and lizards are playful.

Depends on the piece, I guess. Visual art can greatly influence my mood whereas music can give me energy in the morning (heavy metal mostly) or help me get to sleep (I can’t last a hole album of Nick Drake).

Mountains, definitely.

Both!

My dad playing on his computer at Doom while I watched.

A tamed magpie once appeared out of nowhere and ate biscuits in my hand. Too bad I was only two at the time and can’t remember it (my dad took photos).

In class. The clock is broken.
