I am actually tired that people keep comparing Artem and Zayne.

Look man I'm an Artem loyalist ok I went into the game thinking Zayne was going to be the one because from an outsider perspective, yeah.

Having spent countless hours in the game now...

Artem being work partners with MC, despite Artem's massive crush it's a slow burn colleagues to romance based on mutual trust and affection. By the time they're dating it's more a confirmation than a confession. With Zayne just from experience he's so reserved that it really almost feels like MC is the one pursuing him and always questioning herself about it. Business Trip makes me a little sad tbh cause yeah it ended well but it's so clear she wants a little bit more of that public casual affection.

They do both have reserved personalities but will surprise you

Artem can surprisingly be very fun and spontaneous and Zayne is extremely calculating and yes he'll go to arcade with MC but it's more just to watch her have fun and be in the same air as her, I think Artem and Rosa (MC) actually go to enjoy themselves and be a little competitive and have fun. From what I've seen Zayne prefers the planned dinner dates and itineraries or just cooking at home. One of his dates is literally... one of those work fairs with like tables and booths. Artem and Rosa's dates spawn the entirety of "grocery shopping and a movie at home" to "we randomly decided to enter a shooting tournament on a whim cause we were in the area"

Not afraid to be bold with affection (Artem freaking proposed at someone else's WEDDING omg Zayne could never I think he would die)

Artem never doubts or coddle MC's ability, complete faith and trust in her ability to protect herself (fortunately all the LaDS boys have this but of the ToT boys I know there's been moments the others kinda coddle her and are overprotective, and of the 4 ToT Artem is hands down the first to say 'Go on without me you can handle this.' You can fight me on this. If you have doubts the last Mystery Little Boss event was wild proof for me.) I just feel like Zayne gets a little overprotective the difference is... he can't really stop her.

In contrast to Zayne, Artem's personality is very warm with MC; he smiles brightly and laughs loudly with her, he'll swing her hand in public, people literally already think they're dating even in the main story. With Zayne I feel like he's so reserved in public to the point I think outside his hospital colleagues who might see her often, people might be surprised to find out if he's even married (I have a coworker like this. So reserved that they handed me their wedding invite one day and I was like???? EXCUSE ME since when did you even have a relationship???). He likes to save his affection for private moments and that's fine and dandy but it's not like Artem to not be affectionate with her constantly and I'm not just talking his confession when he kissed MC in front of the whole theme park or in the middle of the street in front of his mom, no I'm talking just the casual always throwing his arm around her shoulder and holding her casually close to him, even during the recent billiards tournament. I just think it would take a while for Zayne to get to that level of comfortable and for Artem its like, a need.

There's a few more but I'm done. I love Zayne, I do, I'm just tired of people saying he's Artem copy/paste cause he's NOT they could not be more different and if you go into the game thinking you'll get Artem 2.0 then I'm sorry man.

I just imagine him waking up in the morning for work and he's about go about his routine but then he suddenly turns to the side to see you sleeping and just stops.

And he loves it. He loves every second of it. He loves that his day starts and ends with you. And he's miserable when he has to leave to do consultations in other countries without you. I'm like 90% sure he often brings you with him because 'she's my partner wink wink'

And don't even get me started on his malewife ways. Food is literally this man's love language. He loves cooking for you and with you(idk if you saw his recent event where he basically shifted everything in his kitchen so it would be at reachable height for her, bought lighter pans so they'd be easier to lift for her, put protective cases on knives for her I AM SO IN LOVE WITH THIS MAN). He often makes you breakfast in bed because its very rare that you wake up before him. Cleaning destresses him and when he gets to do it with you, it feels all the more domestic and cute.

Whenever you both close a case, difficult or easy, y'all have a ritual of filling up a tub with bath bombs and salts and sitting cuddled up in it while drinking champagne and eating chocolate. And of course bathtub sex🤭🤭

He loves planning and going on dates with you. Picnic dates, lunch dates , shooting range dates, study dates, museum dates, maybe arcade dates too. You name it, he does it.

“aww, look at that little cutie there!” vyn watched you coo as you kneeled, hand softly brushing the fur on the cats head.

it was a pleasant afternoon and you and vyn were just headed to a market to buy ingredients for dinner. vyn has, as he always does, invited you to his place for an afternoon, as a celebration of knowing each other for a few months now.

at this point, both of you were aware of your feelings for each other. neither of you has decided to do anything about it though, relishing in the slight feeling of pining either of you felt when your hands brushed against each other.

vyn has always known that being with you was something he wanted to achieve. surprised by his own feelings, he decided to take his time tho, trying to determine just how much he wanted to hold you in his arms.

and now, as he watched you fondly, he smiled. finally, his feelings were clear as day and he was tempted to brush the hair that fell in your field of vision out your face just as carefully as your fingers threaded through the black kitten's fur.

he had something new to cherish now.

ARTEM

it has been a few minutes from when artem decided to pay your office a visit, a cup of coffee made just how you like it in his hand.

you and artem have created a routine. both of you have been working for the company for a long time and over time, you were assigned to certain cases that required cooperation. as you spent your days together, you realized that you two worked like clockwork when partnered up.

the cordial work relationship has slowly evolved into something deeper as you two realized how similar you both were. determined and ambitious, working together was something you both looked forward to.

artem has never been one to seek out partnership, but with you, it felt natural. he was unsure about naming the feeling that persisted when you two smiled at each other across the office.

it seemed he has found his answer. as he stood in the doorway, leaning at it lightly with a smiled curled on his face, he observed you as you typed resolutely, brushing a hand through your hair, fully focused.

it was at that moment that a new goal has conjured in his mind. it will take time and a lot of hard work, but artem has never feared waiting. partners in the work is your current status. he will change it, of that he is sure.

he will make you his partner in life.

MARIUS

butterflies. that is what marius felt as he stared at you, tears of laughter stinging at the back of his eyes.

you two have spent your afternoon on yet another one of his spontaneous outings. these have become a routine, marius somehow always around whenever you had some time to spare. the outings ranged from art exhibitions to a game of lasertag right before the arcade closed.

today he has surprised you with a impromptu pottery class that you managed to hurry to right before it started. the act itself was really calming and, interested in arts as you both are, you were getting into it.

a splash of something cold brought you from your reverie and you lifted your hand, fingers coming in conact with something gooey on your cheek. exasparated, you abruptly faced marius, only to see him smiling cheekily, pointedly working on his own creation. it looked great, of course.

now, you were sitting outside the classroom, deciding to leave because of the pointed looks you got from the other participants. you didn't enjoy being disruptive, but damn you if you didn't try to get back at the cheeky man now sitting on the ground beside you.

you were both giddy, residue of laughter still tearing through your body. you paused, before extending your hands and smudging the clay on his cheek to make a shape. a heart.

that was exactly what was beating aggresively in his chest as he watched you chuckle lightly, continuing to draw little stars on his other cheek. damn, he needs to make you his.

LUKE

oh, how he wanted to kiss you. that was the only thought running through lukes mind as he watched you, smile on his face.

you and luke have planned to spend the entire day together. so far, it has been fun, at least for you two. you visited a bookstore together, then spend some time chatting about your purchases over a cup of coffee with a bit of pastries on the side and now you decided to walk around in a park nearby, soaking up the suns shine.

before you could decide where to go next, a ball rolled on the path before you before a little boy sheepishly ran up to where you two stood.

“um, sorry, i didn't mean to kick it here.” he stuttered, a sheepish smile on his face. luke was ready to throw himself into conversation with the kid, before you stepped up, kicking the ball lightly back in the boys direction.

the kid looked at you curiously, before you waved your hand in invitation.

“pass it back, come on!” you said cheerily, smiling ear to ear. the kid immeadiately brightened up, passing the ball back in your direction.

and that brings us here to this moment, as luke watched you ruffle the boys here, out of breath from the game that was ongoing for... was it  hours already?

and as he watched you two interact, he paused, feeling lightheaded.

he fell for you, all over again.

i'm pretty okay with that ship, i guess? i'm pretty okay with almost all ships regarding the main cast! im much more partial to the NXX polycule tho (bc they have so much love for each other aAAAAAAA), but my main main fave is artem/rosa. i absolutely love those fuckers.

it's like artem/rosa -> nxx polycule -> everything else in terms of romance.

romantically, i got nothing for u nonnie, i'm more of a found family type of person. do i think it would be a fun dynamic to explore? yes absolutely bc you got someone like marius who is so suave but also has his dorky moments and artem 'i would like to read a book about it first' wing who in the end wings it (ha!) and just wholly gives himself to the person he's interested in. like, that's a really cute ship right there lmao

tho if we talk about marius & artem in a platonic sense? fUCK THATS MY SHIT! (can you tell my favorite tropes are found family and slow burns)

maybe it's because of artem's role as mom friend and marius' as baby of the group, but i think a brotherly bond between them would be so good both for their development and also angst. for marius, he gets an older brother but it gets angst in the sense that artem would be 'replacing' giann. for artem it would be not being able to step out of giann's shadow.

or think about the trust they could have with each other, the bonding they would do bc they both had lonely childhoods. marius' childhood was lonely out of protection, artem's was because of people ditching him for their jobs.

like just imagine both of them at an arcade? they didn't go often and know how things work in theory, but they're just fumbling about and having fun and AGGHHH LOVE IS HELD IN THE MARIUS & ARTEM FRIENDSHIP

but, uh, yeah! that's what i think about marius x artem. it's a good ship and i like it!! i just find myself liking the found family version more (as with most things tbh lol)

he really doesn't mind that much, as long as you're still keeping getting your work done while keeping yourself healthy and getting a good amount of sleep in between!

well, he isn't really one to talk for the 'sleep' part, but...

yeah.

artem makes you food every day, and it is absolute heaven

his cooking is literally the best. it's so perfectly-made, to the last little detail, and it has the taste of home in it.

he makes sure that he makes different dishes every time, so that you won't get tired of having the same kind of thing over and over again. though he wouldn't mind if you wanted him to cook the same thing a few times because you like it!

he also keeps watch on how healthy each dish he makes is, he can't have the both of you eating primarily unhealthy things! the things he cooks will have a nice healthy balance.

helps you organise a daily schedule, so that you have enough time to do normal daily activities, get your work done, as well as have time to check in on all of your games. you can definitely trust artem with this one, he'll get you a good schedule so everything you need to do fits.

doesn't really understand whatever's happening in your games and doesn't know the controls at all, so he'll prefer to watch you play instead, even though he has little to no idea about what's happening.

he doesn't seem like the type, but you should introduce him to games like animal jam. he'll feel really childish and embarrassed because he actually somewhat enjoys it. it's absolutely hilarious, though. he's also like, the champion of playing checkers on animal jam. poor twelvies getting absolutely destroyed by a senior attorney on a kids game.

KING ;

will buy you the latest gaming consoles and any new games you want

oh? a new game came out and your eyes lingered on the advertisement for a few seconds longer than usual? consider the game yours!

he will absolutely spoil you

it would be really nice if the two of you could go out someplace like an arcade or an amusement park together, but if you want to stay inside, that's fine! he can keep you to himself then >:)

plays some games with you, too. he usually likes the battle ones. the ones that take longer time or lots of effort like strategy games don't interest him that much, but if you want to play it with him, he isn't complaining.

the nostalgia

the two of you will rage when you don't get the achievement for completing the level within the time minute. this game is so unfair! do they expect you to finish the level in 30 seconds or less?! that's impossible >:(

like artem, vyn also helps you properly sort your time so that you're also getting exercise and staying healthy

isn't the type of person to be interested in video games, but likes it when he's listening to you ramble about your favourite games, the features, the characters, everything.

the thing that interests him the most out of your games is the lore behind some of them. some can actually get really interesting. do explain the complicated lore to him, he won't care if the two of you will have to sit there for hours listening to your long-winded explanation about the history of the game's world.

he's pretty much the opposite of marius; he likes strategy games a lot (obviously, it's vyn richter we're talking about here—) and he doesn't like the ones which are battle-focused or things like racing games. if you want to play mario kart or super smash bros a few times, though, he'll indulge you.

RAVEN ;

WOO HE HAS A BUDDY TO GAME WITH!

get ready to play through his wide collection of games he's collected over the years, trying everything out on each different console he has!

he'll sometimes manage to convince you to go outside from time to time, like treating you to lunch or dinner or visiting an arcade or something

he'll sometimes arrange escape rooms inside your or his house, to get your brains thinking and also to get you to have some sort of physical activity

really loves puzzle games. there's one which he particularly likes, it's called "the room", and he's bought all the different versions of it.

if you don't know what this game is, it's basically where you have to try and unlock these complicated puzzle boxes. sometimes you can explore the rooms because there are some things in there which you have to solve first in order to unlock the mystery

it's taken me absolutely forever to do just two puzzles in the first one, but i feel like with luke's big brain he'll absolutely speed through the whole thing faster than sonic the hedgehog

he likes to play it with you, because two brains are better than one! so together, you'll try to solve the puzzle boxes in record time.

yeah, you two have a speedrun record on this game.

Fun date ideas with tot boys?

a few dates with the tot boys <3

➶   artem wing

drives to nowhere : one hand on the steering wheel, the other hand is holding yours. artem would bring your hand to his lips, pressing a soft kiss to your knuckles. every now and then, he takes his eyes off the road just to look at you. it would never last longer than a few seconds, only to remind himself just how lucky he is to have you.

people-watching at a park : the two of you don’t actively go out to do this, it’s something that just happens. artem’s observant by nature, and he’ll turn to you with an intrigued expression. the two of you make an entire game out of it, coming up with possible life stories. at first they start off normal but unfold to become more and more chaotic.

“ artem, what do you think people would say if they were watching us? ”      “ hmmm…that guy looks at his partner like they’re his whole world. ”

➶   luke pearce 

building a pillow / blanket fort : he’ll bring over several blankets and pillows from his own apartment, trying his hardest to suppress the pink flush that spread across the entirety of his face. luke teases you when your side of the fort threatened to collapse, but he’ll help you fix it with a kiss on your cheek and a smile on his lips.

arcade : it takes him back to the your days in high school, trying to win you several little trinkets and plushies. even several years later, it’s still what he does. luke’s heart skips several beats when he hears you cheering for him to get the basketball in the hoop, when you wrap an arm around him in comfort when the claw drops the plushie just as he’s about to win it.

“ awe, that’s okay, baby! maybe we should go to another game? ”      “ nope, ‘m not leaving until i win you that plush bird! it looks like peanut! ”      

➶   marius von hagen

beach trip : he loves the scent of salt in the air, hearing the waves crashing along the shore, but neither of those things could compare to being in your company. marius turns his phone off, not wanting to receive any calls or texts from anyone, wanting to completely indulge himself in your presence. he’s also not above pushing you in the water.  

wandering around furniture stores : neither of you even have to be there to buy anything, you and marius just loved going through the displays and playing house. he walks through the “front door” or your “living room” with a smile on his face like he had just gotten off work. he pretends to be cooking in the “kitchen” with pans and display toys. it gives marius a glimpse of his future with you.

“ never thought that this would actually be fun… ”      “ yeah…uh, yn? all this has been fun, but what about we do it for real? move in with me? ”

➶   vyn richter

camping : he will always carve out spaces in his weekends to be with you, sometimes it’s the entirety of his weekend. vyn adores the long drive to the campsite, takes every opportunity to show off the tiniest bit with his knowledge on nature, and seeing the moonlight shining down on your features. more than anything, he loves it when you cuddle up to his side despite the bonfire warming the two of you up. 

breakfast dates : very few things get him up and running so early in the morning. there’s a furrow in his brows and a frown on his face as he waits outside the cafe, wishing he was back in the comfort of his bed. but all that melts away when vyn catches sight of you walking towards him, a light in his eyes and the corners of his lips twitching upwards.

“ vyn, sorry for getting you up this early… ”      “ oh, it’s alright. you’re worth it. ”
