Sabé loved her wife dearly, but her eternal optimism about people could be annoying at times.

Especially when that optimism was placed with people who did not deserve it, like Sabé's parents.

Cris and Sel, Sabé's older brothers she could handle. They loved their sister and only wanted her to be happy. But when it came to Asha and Mavol Thass, it was another story.

So when the speeder pulled up to the house in Theed where Tsabin Thass had been born, Sabé's stomach was in knots.

"This is a bad idea," Sabé whispered to her wife as Luke and Leia spilled out of the speeder. As the front door to the house opened. Sabé was a little relieved to see Sel had been selected to greet the Chancellor and her wife.

Climbing out of the speeder herself, Sabé tried not too look like she was going to throw up.

Pleasantries were exchanged between the adults, and then finally the Amidala family headed inside.

To Sabé it felt like a funeral march.

Stepping back into the house where her family had lived all her life, the woman who had served her planet and her queen as decoy felt small and worthless.

Cris was the next person to greet them next, and Sabé hugged him fiercely, she did miss her older brothers and regretted that they didn't speak much.

And then her mother swept into the room with her usual flair for the dramatics.

"Ah, Chancellor Amidala, it is an honor to have you here." Asha Thass said as her husband trailed behind her, echoing her sentiments as usual.

Out of reflex, Sabé stood up straight and squared her shoulders.

"Hello, Mother."

Ahsoka smiles at her sister, scooping her up to sit on her lap too while she examines Sandy. "That's a clever name," she says, nodding with approval. "We should get her another friend to name Sunny, since they've got two suns there."

Apparently today was the day that he decided to tell her something about his mom that he had not told anyone else. @arandomnerdsrp358

Cess froze, she'd known General Syndulla a long time, long enough to know her character.

Besides Cess' own mother she'd never seen someone love their child as much as Hera Syndulla loved her son.

But Cess had been young herself, she knew that insecurities weren't always rational. So she didn't scold Jacen, instead she set her tools aside, wiped the grease off her hands, and gave Jacen her full focus.

She knew better than to think that was the entirety of the story, but she wasn't going to press him too much. Things were... strained, she knew, and she wished she could do more for him, she really did. But all this fighting, these missions, this was for his sake, too. She just wished she could convey that better.

Funny, she understood her father better than ever right now.

"Okay." She moved over and gave him a quick squeeze. "I love you, alright? If you need anything, let me know." Even letting him go, her arms lingered for a moment longer in the same position. If only she could keep him wrapped up in her arms forever.

He was a formidable figure, before the suit he'd been intimidating but now he towered over people and the entire suit dehumanized him, made him more machine than man.

Imperials scrambled out of his way as he marched towards the interrogation rooms.

Sweeping into the room where the young princess of Alderaan was being held, he expected to find a child cowering at the sight of him, but when he turned he found a girl, ten years old practically boring holes into him with the familiar brown eyes that haunted his dreams.

Padmé's eyes.

Everything about the princess mirrored his late wife, but if her looks weren't enough her Force signature was eerily familiar. It was almost identical to the Force signature he'd once felt coming from the child in Padmé's belly.

He could hardly think straight, did he dare hope, could this be his and Padmé's child?

Bowing, he tried to collect his thoughts and find his voice once again.

"Your Highness."

Since coming to live with Aunt Leia and Uncle Han, Allea had never felt more alone in her life.

The Force felt empty, she kept finding herself reaching out to feel the familiar signature of her parents or classmates, hell even Ben's familiar signature would be a comfort right now. Only for her to find nothingness.

But today was different, today some sixth sense told her someone was coming.

As soon as he set foot on base, Allea knew who she'd been sensing. Abandoning her work, the red head went running for the hanger, which was buzzing with activity.

Allea had never been happier to see a new ship in the hanger, she didn't even care if this was technically unsafe, Allea ran towards the ramp to the familiar ship.

Jinn loved her big sister very much. She was a good sparring partner and was always ready to play with her. Right now she had a grip on her leg and was holding on for dear life. “‘Soka! Play with me!”

Ahsoka laughs, looking down at her adoptive sister holding onto her leg. She manages to lift her leg a few inches off the ground, leaning back to use her weight to help lift Jinn from the floor.

"Is that what this is?" she says, grinning. "Feels more like weight lifting."
