tokyo tohoku trip - day 2.
woke up after a nice sleep to head to the hotel restaurant for breakfast, i really really like japanese hotel breakfast because it’s buffet and there are so many choices to pick from, most of them are locally sourced ingredients too, you get to try so many things in small amount at once.
since aomori is famous for their apples, the hotel serves apple pie, apple sorbet, apple curry, and of course fresh apples. both the japanese and western selection taste so good, i was completely stuffed, just to eat all the food that i like. the variety and taste is simple awesome.
after breakfast, i head out to the nebuta museum warasse ねぶたの家 ワ・ラッセ, which is a popular spot for tourists to visit to view the giant nebuta floats. the floats are used during the featival in summer and, after that, stored in the museum for viewing, until next year. each float has a story behind it, and the people or company who sponsored or made it, it was a very interesting visit. all the floats are also beautiful, all handcrafted by talented people, it’s definitely worth the visit to enjoy the beautiful culture.
after that, my friend has arrived from tokyo, so we head to aomori gyosai center 青森魚菜センター for the popular nokkedon のっけ丼. this fish market is quite small but they have an iconic food item which is basically a seafood rice bowl, however, you get to pick and choose what goes into your bowl by visiting the stalls inside the fish market. it’s quite an enjoyable experience to just shop for what you want to eat and get served this way, definitely try it as the seafood is also very fresh, mostly caught nearby and probably on same day as well.
we did have a very enjoyable and satisfying meal, the seafood is just so yummy, and eating them raw and by it owns, you get to enjoy the freshest and most original taste. scallops are very famous in this area, so it’s a must try. also do try the local fishes recommended by the stalls as well, as some of them are really not well known outside of this place.
after filling up our stomach, we head over to another nearby market, auga fresh market アウガ 新鮮市場, to browse and check what is available, as we will be purchasing some ingredients to be cooked for dinner tonight. many stalls are closed on sundays though, so the place is rather quiet as well.
as we still have time before taking the shuttle bus to our accommodation tonight, we decided to take a short break at a factory, which is a popular souvenir store just next to the nebuta museum and very close to the station. this place also sells all sorts of food that is popular around aomori. we bought an apple pie to share with coffee. the pie was so good, as the apple is yummy and not overly sweeten or seasoned, original taste is always the best. watching snow while sipping coffee is surely a nice way to pass time.
just before catching our shuttle bus, we went back to the fish market to get some fresh ingredients, and then collected luggage and went to the meet up point. the bus would take us to sukayu onsen, a very popular national onsen resort with many many years of history. this onsen resort in located up the mountains, and we get to see so much snow during the bus ride, the entire place is just white, covered with fluffy snow.
i was really excited with the snow as it’s just so beautiful, and it was also fun to catch it and just play around. after checking in at the hotel, we did played in a snow for a short while, took some photos and just admiring the beautiful snowy scenery.
we then take quick rest, before starting to prepare for dinner tonight. as this onsen is famous for its medical benefits, they are people who stay here long term for healing treatments, hence the resort provides kitchen and utensils for the guests to cook. we had a fun time preparing our meal, my friend did all the cooking and i just helped out from the side, she’s amazing.
she made a whole bunch of food which filled up our table completely - fish miso soup, sashimi, grilled shellfish, pickles, grilled fish, and white rice. it was such a yummy and heartwarming meal, never expect to get this experience in an onsen resort as a tourist, it’s truly unique.
after the meal, we rested for a while before heading to the main attraction - onsen! the unique point of this resort is that there’s a huge onsen which is shared by both male and female, and it’s so spacious that it fitted 1000 people at the same time in the past. shared onsen is super rare in japan, as you would probably imagined as everyone has to be naked in the bath. so there’s 2 hours a day when the onsen is reserved for females only, 8 to 9am and 8 to 9pm. during this time, women can enjoy this huge onsen by themselves without worries, so of course we went, it was really huge. the water is very nice and relaxing, it just feels amazing being in onsen, your whole body gets to be pampered both physically and mentally as it is just very soothing and healing.
even after 9pm, it is still possible to stay in the bath as we found an area where there’s a separator that blocks the view from the men’s side, what a great strategy, and we did enjoyed the bath as much as we wanted, and it’s also great that it’s almost empty as well. there’s so much to learn about onsen culture, it’s definitely one of my favorite thing to do in japan, as enjoying onsen is a one of its kind experience that i am addicted to, since my first experience many years ago.
the night just unwinds slowly with lots of chit chat and some light local beer, it was an amazing day with many new experiences for me and i’m grateful to my friend who brought me to the famous onsen, which is her favorite onsen of all times, as this is a very local experience, there’s almost no foreigners in this place, definitely no english at all, so it’s a truly authentic and unique charm that i get to enjoy. =)

Dragon AU Part 3 of 4
This is just Wild and Wind! I also wrote this while barely awake :D

Wild: (Beast from Begon)
- Wild is unnatural in this dragon form. If Time was unnatural looking because he was so clean, white and pure. Wild is the complete opposite of that. Wild *was* a serpent like the dragons of his time. But due to his adventure he slowly surely became an amalgamation of creatures. His original serpent’s body, Feathery bird wings strong enough to manipulate winds, gills and fins to survive in water, strong legs to stomp out lighting, and a powerful tail that can shatter the earth. His powers and appearance didn’t just change by melding with the champion's magic. Wild’s scales changed to be more blocky and man-made. His scales turned opalescent like fairies wings, underneath you can see an astrological map in the colors. But under his scales the eerie sheikah blue glow that is similar to a divine beast shines through. Wild was foraged to be a divine beast.
- Wild’s magic is also a mess at this point. He can do a lot but its so chaotic that he learned to control it by letting it run free and for lack of better words wild. He can still use all the champion's abilities. Wild has been able to slowly regenerate thanks to the shrine of resurrection. But originally Wild was able to grow and move plants.
- The weird part is, Wild by all accounts is dead. His scent registers in many people's brains as a magic spirit instead of a dragon. But he smells like the morning dew, pine and just dirt.
Like Twilight, Wild would need to be sat down and have the talk about Dragon things. But unlike Twilight, Wild has many people to tell him about dragon culture. Turns out the people at the stables are willing to reteach Wild about what he needs to know.
But he didn’t realize how easy it was to put a claim on someone. You at the time of meeting Wild already had one on you. The boy’s of the chain were quick to tell him what happened, and honestly because of how quick Dragon courting is Wild didn’t really mind nor panic over having a claim on you. If anything he started to be more casual about everything hoping to just take things slowly since not even he knows what he is doing.
- Is probably the first one to tell you what he did by acciedent. Mostly because you deserve to know and while it’s not his fault he didn’t know how to put on a claim he feelsl like he should have asked someone.
- Wild is very insecure about his dragon form sometimes. In his eyes he wasn’t good enough to be a hero with how he was born originally. That he needed to change to the point of being a chimera of different beginnings.
- Wild’s half form is slightly less eldritch than his dragon form. He keeps his top half of his body but loses his legs as they form into a snake tail. Not many land dragons are like this but there's enough to know that they exist.
That is to say catch Wild coiling around you while you both cuddle. He wants to protect his most precious treasure after all! 
Wind:
- Wind is a water dragon that also has the Air element through his connection with the wind waker, and because of his connection to the wind waker and the amount of times he uses it. Wind can actually control the winds without his batton. His scales are aquamarine, people actually get his scales confused with actual gems. He is the size of a boa constrictor.
- He smells like an ocean candle in the best way possible, and almost all the chain is soaked in this scent.No one is escaping his family claim so it’s not surprising that you have one on you as well.
- He is a kid that is having a time traveling with the other heroes. This is his family and he wants to protect all of you.
- Let this boy sleep on your lap and give him head pat’s!!!

And yes, cookies that were in a situation like that may act very distant towards their rescuers and others at first, but there will come a time when they realize you don't mean any harm. Looks like your Snow Sugar has come to realize that sooner than expected ^v^

i literally gave out this recipe on here before bc someone asked dhfgdhg but tldr you need a standard amaretti recipe and then you make cherry compote by simmering black cherries in apple juice and a little sugar + a dash of amaretto liqueur until they are reduced into like a jam. and then the fiddly part is u make balls of dough and then use the other end of a teaspoon to like hollow them out with a small hole for u to get the compote in through and then u have to like seal that up but everything else is sooo easy n its literally the best thing u have ever eaten in ur life i promise

RECIPES UNDER 100 CALS
bc you skinny bitches deserves to eat <3
apple & meringue (98 cals)
half an apple (70g)
nuts (5g)
1 egg white (35g)
some stevia
cut the apple and the nuts, put them in a dish that can go in the oven. (personally I like to add cinnamon on it), whip the egg white with some stevia into peaks, then put it on the apple. bake for 15min a 180°C and enjoy !!!
Cookies (recipe is for 20 parts, they're 58 cals per cookies)
low fat yogurt (100g)
honey (10g)
nuts (35g)
oatmeal (30g)
apple (140g)
flour (75g)
salt and cinnamon (as much as you want)
1 egg (70g)
2 bananas (300g)
start by cutting the apple and the bananas and mix them with flour, salt and cinnamon, oatmeal and egg. bake for 20min at 190°C. Cut the nuts, and mix them with yogurt and honey, you can add it on top of the cookie !!
blueberry muffins (my fav!!!) (recipe is for 4 muffins, 57 cals per muffin)
banana (150g)
half an egg (35g)
oatmeal (37g)
baking powder (2.5g)
blueberries (25g)
crush the banana with a fork, add the egg and whip them together, then add the oatmeal and and the baking soda and mix. add the blueberries. bake for 5min at 220°C, then 10min at 190°C
Strawberries/raspberries smoothie (90 cal)
strawberries (100g)
raspberries (100g)
coconutwater (100ml)
lemon juice (5ml)
ice (50g)
put everything inna blender and voila !
chocolat cake (recipe is for 4 parts, 90 cals per parts)
red beans (127g)
oatmeal (17g)
half an egg (35g)
low fat milk (35ml)
low fat cottage cheese (50g)
cocoa powder (8g)
baking powder (2,5g)
add stevia as you like
rinse the red beans 2-3 times so they won't taste in the cake. blend the oatmeal to make it look like flour. mix everything with a blender. put it in a plate and bake for 25min at 180°C
peanut butter cookies (recipe is for like 20 cookies, but one is 56 cals)
dark chocolate (15g)
protein powder (60g)
oatmeal (85g)
peanut butter (40g)
2 bananas (300g)
crush the bananas and cut the chocolate in tiny pieces then mix all the ingredients together in a blender. make little balls and bake them for 12-15min at 180°C
peanut butter energy balls (recipe is for 15-16 balls, 1 is 57 cals)

cocoa powder (45g)
coconut flakes (30g)
almond powder (20g)
stevia as much as you want
mix everything but the coconut flakes in a blender. then make little balls and roll them in the coconuts flakes. store them in the refrigerator until you eat them
Granola bar (recipe is for 7 bar, 1 is 94cals)
oatmeal (100g)
almond milk sugar free (50ml)
peanut butter (20g)
honey (5g)
banana (150g)
mix everything in a blender, then spread it on a plate and bake for 15min at 160°C. Cut it in bar once it has cooled down
Strawberry sorbet (recipe is for 2 parts, 1 is 52 cals)
strawberries (175g)
water (75ml)
honey (10g)
lemon juice (25ml)
mix everything in a blender until it looks like a puree. put it in the freezer for at leats 3-4 hours then you can eat it !
spinach and feta muffins (recipe is for 3 muffins, 1 is 79 cals)
spinaches (125g)
1 egg (70g)
feta cheese (40g)
salt and pepper as you like
cook the spinach on the stove. then put them in a bowl and add the egg, the feta and salt and pepper if you want and mix together. put the mix in moulds and bake for 25-30min at 160°C
hot chocolate (really my fav drink!!) 95 cals only !!
vanilla bean (0.5g)
water (200ml)
honey (5g)
cocoa powder (20g)
cinnamon powder as you want
in a pot mix the vanilla with the water, the cocoa powder and honey for like 5mins on low heat, then add the cinnamon and enjoy !!
