You know what I really want rn? Rarepair (or at least not as popular) compilations but for fictional friendships (including rare types of friendships if not specific characters, like introvert/extrovert, crossovers, intergenerational, etc.)

Give me Obi-Wan Kenobi and Jocasta Nu being nerdy library friends together (but still being badasses like in The Mummy).

Give me Darcy Lewis and Stephanie Brown bonding over being the non-genius without years of training who will still go to bat for their found family.

Give me Stiles Stilinski and Five Hargreeves going through things their family wouldn't understand and being way more mature than they look or act.

Give me Remy Lebeau and Kurt Wagner reconciling their shared religious background with their identity as mutants and being each other's support system.

I just really want more fics that focus explicitly on friendships bc not every rarepair has to be romantic, you feel?
