It's funny how my subconscious denied Eren's death and the eventual repetition of the Titan curse for 2 whole years until I saw it animated, and then it clicked. I had it coming since 2021, but I never felt like Eren, the boy who once inspired me so much when we were teenagers, had truly passed to a cruel fate.

In a way, being a manga reader is like inhereting the memories of Attack Titan and watching the future unfold but, no matter how much you try or wish for something different while you go through the exact events you read in the manga, you cannot change anything.

i actually swing between liking eremika as a romantic couple and as a platonic brother/sister relationship all the time and idk if that says something about me 😳

romantically, i see them as soulmates. like no matter what, they’ll always find their way to each other and i think that’s so romantic.

but also, their relationship is very tragic. like romeo and juliette but also like in a toxic way? like they’re not good for each other but they can’t help but want to be together.

like in canon, all mikasa wants so do is be with eren and because of her ackerman powers she wants to protect him. but this bothers eren because HE wants to protect HER but he’s weak compared to her so he takes his anger out on her 🥺 and this makes her want to protect him MORE because he does riskier and riskier things idk

like if you’ve ever seen The Boys, i compare eremika to Hugie/Starlight lol
