Definitely take away his mental health issues. He's at battle with his own mind every minute of every day, and there's mornings where he's only getting out of bed because her and the kids need him too. He's on so much medication for his PTSD and his bipolar2. Including anti-psychotics.
Not really. He's pretty much willing to try anything. Esme won't do anything that involves heights. Over a certain height that is. Like don't ever ask her to go bungee jumping or skydiving or anything like that lol
Their song is "Crazy Love" by Van Morrison. After they got married the first time in that tiny ceremony with six people there, they went out to dinner and then like a bar/pub crawl and when a live musician found out they'd just gotten married, performed that song for them. So it became their song. And it's the song that was playing while TJ spied on them when they dancing barefoot on the back deck
He has. A separated shoulder. But he could only hide that for so long when there's so many kids to take care of and he'd need to use both arms.
If it's a throwing up kind of sick, they always go to Mom. Dad does not handle vomit very well at all and will likely throw up himself. If it doesn't involve puke, some will go to dad for cuddles. Like Addie. She'll go to him first. And when she was admitted to the hospital for a horrible flu, he was the one that stayed there for the week with her.
Probably a surf and turf. Some steak, some shrimp and scallops, some kind of fish caught by him. All cooked over an open fire down on the beach
She has quite a few! She has a peacock that wraps around her body on the left side, so the head is between the breasts and the tail is across her back. She has a seahorse on the back of her right calf, a dragon fly on her left ankle at the side, her name is Elvish on the inside of her left bicep, her and Tyler's initials and dates of birth on the inside of her right forearm, and a combination of their zodiac signs on her right thigh, at the side, near her hip. And she has a little fox behind her left ear
He does. He feels it's definitely inherited from him as he had a lot of the same issues growing up. Especially with the rage disorder.
Her dad was the only one who ever showed up with her sports events or the plays and other extra curriculars she was involved in. And they'd always go out for dinner afterwards.
Spending time on the beach with her. Her teaching him to swim, looking for seashells and rocks together, her getting a friend to teach him to surf
Just the way she was treated in general. And being told that she was a mistake and her mother never wanted her
Definitely the time his father beat the hell out of him when he was eleven and then locked in him in the backyard shed for two days without food or water
He was pleasantly surprised that he enjoyed it :)

Watching Breaking Dawn: Part 1, easily the most boring and slow-paced of all the Twilight movies until the pregnancy drama—and that’s saying something. I’ll just get right to it:
Bella voiceover-ing the St. Millay quote is not it. For one thing, that is not Bella’s line, that is just the epigraph of the whole book. It’s as if they decided to have Bella V.O. the Genesis quote from the first book. Nah, son
Yeah, let’s start a movie all about Bella and Edward with…Jacob finding out about the invitation. Because the script is so patently in love with Jacob
Not Bella touching the dreamcatcher just before her wedding…Script Being in Love With Jacob Part 383872928
“You aren’t a virgin?” If the movies had been smart about their humor they could have included Emmett laughing at this O.S. I would have
And of course they had Edward tell Bella about his Batman vigilante years just before the day of!!!!! Meanwhile Book!Edward told her in the very first book of the series. No wonder people call this relationship abusive. It’s not…it’s just the movies sucked hard at adaptation. Also the scriptwriter just could not write Edward for shit
They finally show some Emmett/Edward/Jasper bromaderie…last movie of this series but better some than never
Dream Bella’s wedding looks so nice in all white with the rose petals…also Stewart is styled better than her wont, she actually looks more in line with Book Bella. Also her dream wedding dress looks better than her official one. Not by much, though.
But! I have to question why the movie included this as the dream instead of the immortal child dream in canon. Bella is definitely not having second thoughts about being with Edward—she just hates being center of attention, so the whole experience of the wedding is onerous to her. So she wouldn’t dream about this particular cold feet. I suppose the dream is actually about her worries about losing herself to her vampire bloodlust once she turns. I’ll be generous for once and opt for that interpretation
“Are those graduation caps?” Billy Burke!Charlie being the best as ever, I see. But also I’m reminded of that movie-only detail, so bleurgh. So stupid
The human characters gawking hilariously at the Denalis and being realistically shallow and catty…This Script Loves the Human Characters Too Much Part 848472728
Yeah, Bella’s actual wedding dress is a bit of a disappointment. It’s not old-fashioned enough to be charming and not modern enough to be sleek and sophisticated. It’s kind of in that bland middle.
Stephanie Meyer cameo!!! She honestly looks more Esme than the actress playing Esme. Hate how the antis say Bella’s her self-insert…they’re both brunette and that’s basically it. Meyer is actually too curvy and her hair is curly, not wavy like Bella’s. Also, Bella’s top lip is supposed to be bigger than her bottom half—not the case with Meyer.
The music is still the worst, I see. Generic orchestral scoring + mediocre pop songs that will be instantly dated in some years. As always, Hollywood only get actually good composers for dumb dick flick shit.
Carmen just straight up smooching Bella on the cheeks…movie, I beg you to please remember that they are all vampires here.
Irina’s face when she sees the wolves 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 The acting, I swear. But I guess the movie introducing that conflict early is good set up. But the execution…Irina just implying Bella is a liar is not it, fam. That Laurent wanted to kill Bella is verifiable.
“Bella, I hope you’ve gotten enough sleep these last years, ‘cause you won’t be getting any more in a while.” 💯 Script Writes Good Emmett Lines Part 939383828. Also, Charlie just *chugging champagne* just clinches it
“Edward will be a good husband. I know this because I’m a cop. I know things.” 💯 Script Writes Charlie the Best For No Good Reason Part 393982727.
Bella and Edward actually laughing together and having a good time during the cringe toasts is probably the closest I’ll ever get to canon Book Bedward and that makes me so, so irritated
Edward’s speech is actually…well-written? Let me see…holy shit. That was actually an adaptation and not dutiful verbatim. Script had (1) braincell about Edward after all
Aaaand once again Movie Bella is more happy to see Jacob than she is at her whole wedding. 🤮Script Is In Love With Jacob Part 48837727272. But this is even more egregious, since in the book Bella was happy at her wedding!!! In fact, it’s the first time that she actually described herself as beautiful!!!!! She couldn’t stop kissing Edward!!!! Please, movie, I beg you to let Stewart emote!!!!!
Trying hard for that Bella/Renée feels…actually it’s tragic that Bella never realized how dirty she had been done by having Renée as a mother
So many beautiful Brazilian compositions out there and many fun rhythms (the baión in my favorite) and they chose the most generic samba imaginable. Ahimè
Isle Esme looks nice. That’s it, but…yeah, it does
Do we really need a whole montage over Bella’s human minutes post sex scene? Nah, son. Some book-accurate details could have definitely been shortened. Also, that song is horrible
…Why do they look like there’s a green screen when they’re in the water? It’s so weird. Oh God…
🎶I’ve waited a hundred years 🎶 Oh God the horrible music is so on-point it’s cringe
THEY ACTUALLY SHOWED EDWARD DESTROYING THE BED BOARD, I CAN’T
Listen, I understand that some people were disappointed by the fade-to-black sex scene (I know I was in my tender years) but in hindsight it made the comedy of Edward’s angst and Bella riding on the vampire dick high so much better. You just don’t get that vibe in the movie.
Edward: “Bella, I can’t tell you how sorry I am.” 😐 Pattinson really dngaf
Bella: “Why can’t you see how perfectly happy I am???” Idk, Bella…maybe because you looked shocked and appalled when he revealed your bruises? Instead of being cutely bemused and nonchalant as you were in the books? Stewart’s acting choices really are questionable
They actually showed the reactions of the Ticuna housemaids to Bedward’s bedroom 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 If movie movie’d properly they could have had a scene with Kaure warning her husband or something
I will say this for Pattinson’s Portuguese, it’s at least intelligible. So kudos, I guess
Book Edward: *burning man look, literally half-mad, will do anything so that Bella would survive* Movie Edward: 😔 So unserious
…Why the hell did they overlap the actors’ voices with the wolves’ growls???? It’s so damn corny. And these actors aren’t clearly voice actors…
So Movie Bella accepts that she will die and the baby will live (Book Bella meanwhile stuck to her plan and was adamant she and the fetus would both live), thereby fucking over Movie Edward and just being OOC in general. Meanwhile Movie Edward yells at Bella for her choice and slams the door. Kind reminder that no matter his hatred of the fetus Book Edward does help Bella and is always at her side, to the point where he rejects hunting with the rest of the family
They do portray Bella’s malnourished state well…I hope those bones on poor Stewart were not real
I’m so happy that they just got rid of Bella’s sense of humor through her pregnancy (“Hey, it’s good practice”) and her dark sense of humor in general. By happy, of course, I mean “fucking irked”
I like how awkwardly/casually they spring the “Edward can hear the fetus’s thoughts” thing and of course Patt!Edward just accepts this. Meanwhile Book Bella almost shrieked in surprise and Edward was having a second revelation.
So Movie Jacob wants Sam to take back Leah and Seth. He also decides now that he would kill Renesmee and tells Sam this. And this is somehow Jacob playing them for fools…? I don’t even know, this makes no sense. Why can’t Jacob and Leah and Seth guard the Cullens as in the book?
Edward: *stabs Bella’s stomach huge ass needle* “It’s my venom.” Why, movie? He looks like he’s impaled her! At least RPatt’s acting is good here
JACOB’S IMPRINTING VISION HAS ADULT RENESMEE FROLICKING, OH GOD. Movie truly took the worst possible route re: the imprinting. Nothing in the books justify this. And with corny editing too
The wolves attacking the Cullens was so stupid…movies always got to movie, I guess
The transformation sequence was okay…dislike the use of Bella’s Lullaby, though. Totally inappropriate for the pain and drama of the transformation.

BLOG POST: 5 REASONS YOU SHOULD WATCH HANNA ON AMAZON PRIME
Blog post by OT
Amazon Prime Video’s action-drama series HANNA has kept loyal fans on the edge of their seats from the first season’s release in 2019 to the conclusion in 2021. Featuring a wide range of actors from newly-emerging legend Esme Creed-Miles to renowned icon Ray Liotta, the show is the perfect mix of captivating drama and thrilling action. But what, you may ask, makes this show any different from other action-dramas found on today’s vast selection of streaming services? A great many elements indeed. Here are five:
1. Setting Changes One of the most apparent and undoubtedly remarkable details about this show that should be noted is the amount of traveling done by each of the characters throughout the three seasons. During season one alone, Hanna (Esme Creed-Miles) finds herself in the forests of Poland, then in a Moroccan military base, then in the city of Berlin, eventually making it all the way to a top-secret government lab in Romania. One can only imagine where the next two seasons will take her, for the majority of her job as a teenage supersoldier involves changing her location frequently for safety reasons and missions. But each country’s visuals are captured so beautifully and clearly in the show that it almost inspires viewers to want to travel around Europe themselves. The visuals were one of the elements that had captivated me from the beginning, and the changes in setting (and therefore scenery) are guaranteed to keep one interested throughout the show.
2. Soundtrack The soundtrack of HANNA was another element that had intrigued me. It struck me as entirely its own, different from any other show soundtrack I had come across in the past. This was because all of the songs were either indie, in European languages, avant-garde in style, or all three. Hanna’s character theme song, “Anti Lullaby” by Karen O, is a quintessential example of this. The song brings to mind a fresh idea, and is made oddly calming by Karen’s whispering vocals while still managing to convey through the lyrics the feeling of intensity that Hanna has to deal with as a fighter throughout the story. The rest of the show’s soundtrack, featuring songs by AURORA, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and The Magnetic North, as well as others, is similar to this. I think the songs were chosen perfectly to go with the visuals, story, and overall feel of the show, and allowed it to stand out clearly among other series that can be found on Amazon. 3. Acting A third element that went into the making of this fascinating show that cannot be overlooked was the fact that not a single “bad actor” could be found in the entire cast. Each actor fit their role so perfectly that it almost caused viewers to want to get involved with the story themselves! The acting allowed the audience to feel empathetic for the positive characters and grow truly and honestly irritated with the villains, allowing for an immersive level of emotional expression that may not be found in other shows. But the truly remarkable factor was that the cast needed to consist of actors who excel both in dramatic, emotional acting and action scenes. HANNA achieved this perfectly, bringing back legendary, recognizable acting icons while also shining the light on lesser-known emerging actors (who, because of this show, went on to become significantly more successful!). 4. Plot Style A fourth element that sets HANNA apart from other shows of its genre is the plot style. Some familiar ideas were used in the plot, such as romance, friendship, and death, but the way these occurrences were arranged in the story was what made the show so particularly special. Each time there was a friendship or a romantic encounter, we would find out something new about Hanna’s background, and whenever there was a death, the events unfolded gradually for a while, allowing us to feel very accurately what the other characters were feeling as the shock of it passed through them while life still went on. The show’s rhythm and unfolding of events in this way allowed the audience some time to think about what had just taken place instead of the rapid emotional shifts seen in other contemporary action films and shows. 5. Characters Lastly, the characters should be recognized as main contributors to the factors that made this show so great. The name of the show is HANNA, after all! Each personality contrasting just the right amount with the next, the entire cast of characters fit together in the story like puzzle pieces, and with the help of the brilliant actors, they effortlessly evoke empathy and interest from the viewers.

so when rick has violent outbursts and pushes terri and puts her in the hospital, he’s a violent criminal that shouldn’t be allowed back at the school
but when esme has violent outbursts and pushes zig and puts him in the hospital, people will bend over backwards to defend her bc it’s just the mental illness innit luv
like it doesn’t matter if something traumatic happened to either of them or if they’re struggling with mental illness or not like it doesn’t make terri or zig any less hospitalized

Not gonna say that I like the actors or dislike them but the male characters other than brainy and jonn are completely irrelevant, so many great characters that could have come back, cat grant, Sam arias, even Maggie and they chose the shit shows, the guys, we all basically know that william is gonna be the one dying, so why put him in the show anyways? Kara could have easily not quit and pursued the super friends story without having to juggle.
Even in the farewell panel, I thought that dc understood women empowerment, there was absolutely no need for mehcad and Chris to be there, staz is fine he didn't talk much and he hasn't said anything in interviews that makes us not like him. I'm a little biased towards Jeremy as I absolutely adore Winn but seeing as he was the one who started that anti supercorp song in that interview "it's never gonna happen they're just friends" I don't think I like him that much. They should have made the panel longer given eveyone a small chance to speak, without anyone guest stars unless they were women.
Why the fuck did kara quit, I get that she needed time to balance everything but that could have been done by adding more episodes before the whole nyxly drama or during. Why does william have to be the one helping her, it's clear that they want to make it some william saved kara and then died a hero shit but that's only for viewers who ship karamel or basically kara with any man.
If you wanna give kara a partner, even if it's male than choose someone who just supports her not who she supports, but looking at it clearly a male love interest doesn't make sense, they would need to make a character who was willing to not be egoistic, and seeing as they can't and the only two they have made so are dad and brother figures, I don't see male companionship as an option.
It's too late to introduce a new character and too early to say that kara is happy without a partner to be honest, supercorp makes sense, a slow built up relationship with ups and downs nothing too quick nothing too slow. Them getting together is the best endgame the runners could give kara,
Karamel shippers think that "ohh they were so in loove" or "ohh kara isn't over him yet" like no, kara showed him that she doesn't want him, maybe you're forgetting that he's married, sure they fought but not as much as m-hell and kara, he acted like kara was weak like she couldn't handle herself, he constantly lied to her without reason and he wasn't a viable endgame seeing as he's an fucking shitfull asshole,
__________________________________________
So anyways all I cared about in the new episode was Nia's first ever victorious solo (sort of) fight and her standing up to her sister, and ofcourse Lena's outfits, and Esme's drawings.

Even if Esme didn’t abuse and manipulate Miles and Zig, she’s still a really bad person. She consistently makes fun of the idea of “triggers” and safe spaces. She period-shamed and bullied Shay. She purposefully got Miles, Zig, and Maya detention. She stripped in front of a guy without even asking for his consent, AND she presented that in class. She minimizes Miles’s addiction and his child abuse. She makes fun of his anxiety. She makes fun of Maya’s suicide attempt. She left Frankie in the woods alone at night. She faked a lethal allergic reaction. She’s clearly a horrible person, and her mental illness doesn’t count that out at all!!!! I’d love to see a redemption arc, but right now there’s nothing going for her.

hi from one of the folks who has u on their oc creator bingo card!!! i don't want to overload ur ask box or anything so here are 5 questions in one ask! :) — valiantgentle
1. what fandom do you have the most ocs for?
2. is there an oc that you ship with a character that isn't their main love interest?
3. what is your favorite part of the oc creation process?
4. what is esme's favorite quality about herself?
5. is there a song that you associate with more than one of your ocs?
(p.s. — i love ur edits!! it's always a pleasure when a new one crosses my dash)
1. Not counting my MCUverse and Arrowverse, I have the most ocs for The Vampire Diaries universe which is funny because for years I was vehemently just anti-tvdu for some unknown reason.
2. Oof there are SO many. Nevaeh and Stefan, Aphrodite and Lizzie, Esme and basically everyone in TW (I have an au for pretty much all of them), Othello and Rosalie, Rachel and Derek, Ariella and Draco, Kathryn and Blair, Logan and Connor, Clara and Merlin, Astrid and Noora, so many.
3. My favorite part of the OC creation process is coming up with backstories and how that may affect their relationship with canon characters. Like I may really love a canon character but my oc may not like them because of their own personalities and past, so it’s interesting to try to not let my own feelings leak through… I got off topic.
4. Oof Esme is very self-confident, she likes most things about herself. I suppose she likes how smart she is, in so many ways. It’s not just about book smarts or street smarts, she has a good mix of both.
5. This is DIFFICULT, but because there are actually so many. Scream My Name by Tove Lo fits Nevaeh and Esme so well. A lot of love songs fit more than one ship. Music is so universal and applicable to so much.
Ps. I feel the exact same way about your edits! I’m always so jealous when I see your edits, they are incredible and I admire your skill.
