Ive just been watching Avatar The Last Airbender clips lately and like-- lol what if in SAGAU you teach them to control their Vision powers similarly to how characters in the show bend their respective elements??

So like-- i imagine that Anemo, Pyro, and Electro Vision holders would have similar moves and spend a lot of time with each other since i do remember Uncle Iroh calling the Air and Fire elements very similar to each other. It reflects in their bending as well, it just differs in their approach to it. While both have similar bending styles, the Air benders are much more passive and defensive in their bending while Fire benders are much more aggressive and offensive-- you can really see it whenever Aang and Zuko fight. I put Electro in there as well since electricity in the Avatar world is a highly specialized and advanced fire bending skill. I imagine a lot of Vision holders in Inazuma would DEFINITELY try to figure out the lightning redirection skill out of fear of the Raiden Shogun LOLLLL

The water element is STILL OP AS FUCK with Hydro, Cryo and Dendro learning a whole lot from each other. Cryo is there because of obvious reasons aka ICE IS JUST HARD WATER GUYS WHY THE FUCK DID YOU MAKE IT A SEPARATE ELEMENT-- and Dendro is there because plant bending in ATLA (yes plant bending is a thing) is just finding the water in the plants to bend them. The theory is similar to metal bending and blood bending-- you find the bendable parts amidst the unbendable parts and you move those.

Geo is just Geo because... its GEO. ITS JUST ROCKS. DO I NEED TO SAY MORE.

I imagine that the Anemo guys, Venti especially, would very much enjoy their new found speed and agility with Venti just yoinking the concept of an Airbender Staff for himself or even inventing new ways to Windglide using the gliders already there and just innovating the already existing skill. Heizou would also really appreciate it, considering how he doesnt really like fighting and prefers incapacitating criminals as swiftly as possible in or out of a fight. The fuckery you could do as an Airbender man--

Like i said earlier, the Pyro and Electro Vision holders would really take a special interest in each other. I can imagine Thoma trying to find someone with an Electro Vision so he can try to learn how to deflect lightning. (Haha ARCHON QUEST GUILT--) and ohhhhh my gOD i can already see cOUNTLESS cocky Pyro and Electro Vision holders in Inazuma AND EVEN OUT OF INAZUMA just going "STRIKE ME DOWN RAIDEN, YOU DONT THE BALLS--" just because they learned how to redirect lightning AHAHAHA

Cryo and Hydro would hangout a lot and like-- honestly, Cryo might hangout a lot with Geo as well considering how cryo is just Ice but Solid. Its kinda similar to bending earth in that way. I still do think that Cryo and Hydro users would learn a lot from each other but Hydro learns more from Cryo and Cryo learns more from Geo. In the bending sense at least. So i imagine that the closest Cryo can get to Hydro is turning the ice into snow or slush and the closest that Hydro can get to Cryo is slush as well but much MUCH more watery. Like a half melted Big Gulp from 7 11. Honestly, i can kind of see Eula using this as an opportunity to both better her reputation AND to better care for the knights under her since waterbenders are the healers of the bending world. So, i can see her visiting Barbara a lot and getting healing lessons from her or her like-- groveling at Dionas feet trying to learn how to heal her troops AHAHAHA

DUUUUUUUDE the Geo dudes are gonna have sO MUCH FUN SINCE LIKE-- even tho earth bending is SUUUUPER underrated, in the right hands its SO fucking op. I can already see Ningguang trying to master metal bending so she can literally just-- detect what metals are around her and the quality of them. Like "oh this ugly unrefined lump of metal is much MUCH more valuable than the necklace youre trying to sell me there. Tell me, youre not foolish enough to try and swindle the Tianyuan Qixing? Oh? How was I able to tell? With the knowledge and gifts brought by our Grace of course!" And Zhongli trying to master every aspect of earth bending, from seismic sense to metal bending to lava bending and so on, because even though he stepped down as Archon, he is STILL the Prime of the Adepti and Lord of Geo. And if this brings him a closer connection to the Overseer? Lol thats just an added benefit AHAHAHAH

The Dendro users thoooo, they would DEFFO take advantage of their inherent and direct connection to water to better connect with the plantlife around them. ACTUALLY i can see Collei kind of learning how to heal herself of Eleazar BECAUSE of her connection to Dendro and Dendro's connection to water-- the "healing" element. And i can also see Tighnari like-- using it as a different sort of "seismic sense" in a way. Thanks to the lessons learned from the Hydro users that can now fucking bend plants, he can turn that lesson-- the "finding the bendable parts amdist the unbendable parts" and turn it into his own! So he could, using his Dendro Vision, detect and identify any and all plantlife nearby by the way the Dendro element surrounds the Hydro element that flows within the plants themselves! If hes familiar enough with the plants, and honestly he probably is, he could determine its age, species, health, and any other aspects of it he'd want to learn

And ohhhhh my gOD-- dont even get me STARTED on them mixing in their own martial arts into their bending styles. Because like-- each bending style is based off and inspired tby many real life martial arts. Tai Chi for waterbending, Hung Gar for earth, Northern Shaolin for Fire, Ba Gua Zhang for air and so on. So, imagine them just mixing in the fighting styles of each nation or even their own personal fighting style into their bending style! So like-- i can see Thoma mixing into his Firebending some Inazuman Judo or Karate (both are Japanese martial arts and Inazuma is based off Japan) and some Mondstadtian Ringen (Mond is based off Germany and Ringen is German style martial arts/grappling) to really like-- personalize and make Firebending his very own. And, taking that further, even taking the lessons from the show-- the lesson that every element is connected and that you can learn from each and every element. You can actually see that in, as how ATLA goes on, you can see the Gaang and the other benders using bending moves from other elements-- not just Aang learning the other elements to become a Master Avatar but literally everyone-- Zuko using a move he learned from Iroh who learned from waterbenders, Katara using earthbending moves to bend ice, and so on. I could think of more but im currently sick off my ass and my brain is mush. So characters who already have a fluid connection with their Vision/Element or just have that fluidity thanks to their job or their natural personality, have a much more unique way of controlling the elements! The only ones i can think of rn is Yunjin and Childe-- Yunjin because of the slight and fluid movements she makes as an opera singer and actor, i mean-- have you even watched her attack animations? Theyre SOOOO smooth and pretty!! And Childe because of his Delusion, meaning hed already be trying to learn the other bending arts and, thanks to his fight brain, would definitely look for a way to incorporate each elements bending styles and moves into his own

All of these prompts sound fascinating! Being super into Ice, I'd be really interested in 4, 15, 22 and 31, but any writing of yours is a gift.

It wans't in any of my plans to actually write on of that prompts AHAHAH but anyway i can't say no, but it's gonna be an extension of the prompt more than a ff? I'm probably going to go back on them at some point when the fucking inventary will stop killing me. -#04: Can't pass out

"We had a pact, Admiral" a voice says, from the door.

"No. You, my husband, and my kid decided on something. I, for my part, didn't agree with anything. So no, no pact of any kind, Admiral Kerner."

"Cancer won't win because work will kill you first."

"I'm going to die anyway. At least you should let me choose how, what do you think?"

Ron knows that snapping back won't help, that Tom is just as concerned and scared as they all are. And he's tired. He was more tired than he let people see, but Ron had been around since Tom was nineteen, and he saw it all, so he knew.

"Come on, old man, let me take you home; we can eat takeout and watch stupid soap operas, and I won't tell anybody you fell asleep ten minutes into the night's most interesting movie," Ron says, and he knows he's won when Tom snorts back at him.

"Okay, okay. But only if you can get the chicken from that southern place on the Sixth." 

Ron doesn't say it but he would go to Georgia to take a single piece of chicken tender if that would help in taking Ice home.

Tom goes from standing up to almost face down on the maquette in half a second, the time Ron has to imagine himself flying to Georgia and back in time for dinner and thinking about how many laws he could break or not. Tom's body hits the ground but not with his face because Ron still has some reflex and grabs him before the worst can happen.

"I'm too young for this shit, Ronnie" Tom whispers, against his chest, a lifetime of silence after.

"I know Tommy, I know. But you have to stay awake and not pass out. Then we will go home and eat all the fried chicken you want" he answers, whispering too because he's sure that if he tries to talk out loud he will start crying and he can't, not right now.

-#15: New scars. This one it's gonna be a little more consistent but that's bc it's a fic I'm trying to write since forver and i'm constantly changing parameters on what i should or shouldn't do. But it's not the interesting part of it, sorry lol.

5 old scars someone put on his body and he tells the story to Maverick + the 5 Maverick was around to see heal.

I.

He got the first one when he's five and running around with a plastic plane his dad took home after his n. mission he can't talk about but makes him angry and snappy with his mom but soft with his son, expecially when he passes his big, big, hands in his hair. He's running around the garden and then he's falling on his little plane, his mom is running towards him, his dad is screaming he's an idiot and toy is broke in two pieces and Tom doesn't know what he makes him cry the most: the blood he's loosing from his knee or he precious new toy that now lies between the grass without a wing.

His dad put the plane in the bin and doesn't listen reason when his mom tries to tell him that it can be easily fix and Tom gets a scar, a small and insignificant one that he will soon forget.

(Mav kisses it, during one of nights they have free and have no hurry be anywhere if not in bed. He makes funny faces evertime Tom tells the story on how he got it and Iceman laugh along because you're cute when you make that face Pete.)

II.

The second one Pete notices, this time they're making out on 'Wood terrible couch because everybody else is outside for a barbecue and it's too hot to stay inside but kissing Pete is worth even that, is just a little as the first one, mostly covered by his hairs and when Pete's finger trace it he almost jump because he forgot he was there and it still so sensitive. Pete notices but doesn't have the time to say anything because Tom is kissing him again and Ron is calling because dinner is read and if they don't move their going to have to eat grass!

(He tells Pete, a couple of hours and beers later, that high school hasn't been as kind as he likes to remember. And he talked too many, two, languages people didn't understand and Easter Europe heritage made him a commie every day of the week. He got in a fight more against a desk than the boy but they both got suspended but nobody ever tried to mess with him, after that day.)

III.

-#22: Caughing out blood.

The next one has a funny story that makes Slider a little wild when he gets around talking about it because he has the same one in the same place! Young, dumb and a day away from deployment they drunk too much shitty alcohol they find in the mess kitchen and tried to jump over the wall on the Academy. They both failed so bad they end up with both of their forearms bleeding a little and the instructor was soooo pissed, do you remember Tommy? He talked for hours and we had the mother of all headaches but Ice cold no mistake found the way out of that situation just looking at the guy. I could have kissed you right there for that.

He washed it three times, and there's still blood on it. The blood is on his shirt, on his hands, on his skin, and uncl-his dad is lying on a hospital bed, with too many machines connected to his body and an oxygen mask covering his nose and mouth. Deployment sucked this time around; the squadron was full of navy brats who wanted to know more about everybody. At least Phoenix was there.

They were eating outside, at some place on the ocean Mav found while riding his bike at three in the morning when Ice wasn't there, and that he promised made the best risotto seafood he ever tasted. They were laughing, drinking white wine, and his arm was around Ice's shoulders in support of Mav's last disaster when the older man started to cough. Once, twice, and then a third time, until Bradley felt his own blood running cold because there was blood. Blood on the tissue and then on his shirt because Ice wasn't fast enough to cover his mouth again.

And then Mav's hands were touching Ice and looking at him like he was trying to find an answer to a question Bradley didn't even know existed.

"Breath love breath. Bradley is going to drive us to the hospital, but I need you to continue to breath like the doctor showed you." He said, "Yeah, yeah, like that. C'mon Ice, I know you can do it." 

"Baby Goose, eyes here. I need you to start the car. We will be right behind you. Then you will drive to the hospital, and I'm going to explain everything, but I need to make sure Ice is okay before that. Do you understand Brad?"

"Ye-yes, pops. Car, hospital, and then you're going to explain it to me. Okay. "

Ice's eyes were glossy and concentrated on Maverick and Maverick alone.

"It's going to be okay, Baby Goose." Ice murmured, his voice low and cracked. 

-#31: You can rest now.

The idea comes to Rooster while on a little too much of a drug after they had to set his shoulder twice because the first time it didn't set right.

Once I'm out of here, we should all go and spend the night in the den. Nothing is as warm and comfy as the den. I miss the den. Can we go to the den, pops?" he asked, almost on the point of tears.

"Yeah, Baby Goose, we can go to the den." He answers, laughing a little.

"Okay pops, thank you" he answers before snuggling a little more into his pillow, with Natasha and Jake's fingers patting his hair.

The den is warm and, oh, how Bradley missed this place.

"So this is the den?" a voice behind him asks, and someone whistles.

"Yeah, yeah this is the den." Bradley answers before slumping in his favourite spot, the cat already stretching her belly to let him pat her.

"It's nice." Jake says, sitting beside him.

"Yeah, every house should have one!" Fritz adds "and a cat! Who's this beautiful creature? Bradley, why are you trying to hide all the beautiful people in your life from me?"

Everybody's laughing and it's like Bradley's eight again when Carole used the den to organise him birthday parties he wasn't supposed to know anything about.

But now he's thirty-eight and his mom is dead more years than she was alive and the people around him are his family in the way his uncles are and-and Bradley wants to lie in the sun and let himself feel something that's not anger for once.

And apparently everybody has the same idea because he can finish the thought that eleven other bodies cuddle around him and he loses the count of hands that are touching, patting, and massaging him, but it feels so good that he doesn't want to be anywhere else. Lady Carole curls on his stomach, the door opens, and soft steps are followed by the smell of warm cider and biscuits. Before falling asleep, he hears Mav and Ice on the sofa, softly conversing with Halo.

If you guessed Kate, Anthony, Francesca, John and Michael then you're right!! Okay so this can become a whole essay and I actually wrote one for Kathony somewhere I can post it another time, so Imma just do TLDR versions!

Kate & Anthony - Eldest Sibling Complex with complicated familial relationships and the pressures, stress and burn out that come with that.

Kate - Her book insecurities and then her relationship with her show version of her family which was very hurtful to watch since my family treats me the same way and the Book!Sharmas were like a healing balm and show just ripped that from me. Anthony - His relationship with death and making peace with dying young. In the show we're basically the same except I would have proposed to Kate only but in the vein of running from our problems and then that fucking up things so much more for us? HARD relate but it is something I am working on!

Francesca, John & Michael - For me these three are more aspirational and I want to be more like Frannie - at least terms of her quiet humour and confidence. That being said their wit and their dynamic is very relatable to me I like to think I have their sense of humor especially Michael's from what we've seen. All my friend groups are close like their and have similar love shared between us (not romantically lol but like the affections there)

Francesca - I relate to how lonely and isolated she feels from her family at times and I too might just elope and show up at my family house someday lmao. I do love the support system she has with John and Michael and I'm the same. I created my own family. John - We never really got to know him but he's just so lovely and kind and I hope I'm the same so I related to how lovely he is with his loved ones and I pride myself on being a good friend and always being there for people I care abt and vice versa. Michael - We're both little shits and while I'm not Michael HOT, I like to think I'm attractive-ish shkjdkj is that too over-confident sounding?? Eh after years of being insecure over my looks, I own it now just like Mikey does. We also have very similar sense of humour and also of course he loved running away as do I oop. Battle of the Mall(?)

There was a debate on the social regarding what is the best mall, which is very Klang Valley centric, because you know, we have so many malls. Me on the other hand, I dont really have a strong feeling towards mall haha. I guess probably because I dont do window shopping as much. Most of my stuff and outfit before was bought at Jusco or Giant. And that is not really a mall. Haha but foreal even buku kertas lukisan I bought at Giant. So to me, a mall is just huh, a mall. But of course lah there's a preferability so here my not so rate on it.

Wangsa Walk LOL new KL people will say mende wangsa walk, what got but haha it was a pretty famous hangout place back when I was in high school. It got wayang, arcade, takoyaki, rotiboy, boiling. And it a pretty smol mall too, so no need that many of walking. Haha sure takde hnm but kamon, your taste is HnM?!

Mid Valley Honestly, this is like an upper mall to me. Because it kinda big and have so many shops even one I rarely see. As a kid, me veryyy jarang go here. But during my study, hmmm wait even then I only go if nak tengok wayang je. And it accessible by KTM, so yeah thats that.

IOI Putrajaya Honestly....haha I dont like this mall. It so cracy big kinda make me headache if I need to go here everyday. Even go there every month pun, I feel overwhelmed. Hiii! I followed your personal account, had no idea that you had a tarot & astro blog ahahah

Anyways, I saw you're using the tarot of the divine deck and I had a weird question about it… I got that deck about two or three months ago because I saw it on a youtube pac and I fell in love with it but I have a bit of an issue with it because I feel like it gives me answers that are complete gibberish lol.

I may not be the best reader but when I use different decks, I often see that there is something to the cards I draw (like the theme or similarities between the cards etc), even if I'm having hard time interpreting it. But with this deck it's different, it feels super random. And it doesn't help that some of the imaginery is very extreme (like 10 of swords in this deck, I just cannot read it in a positive or neutral way… and I had it come up as a positive thing)

So my question kind of is, how do you find this deck? And did ever had issues like that with other decks?

Hi!!! Really quickly I really enjoy your astrology posts but I'm pretty sure you've figured that out by now but also my bad,,,,,sometimes I treat notifs here like my phone notifs and I forget to check back in fjkdl;sajifeja

So the Tarot of the Divine is actually one of my strongest decks, but I don't use it a lot because it likes romance, and I don't do a lot of romance readings unless it's for my friends or it happens to want to be picked up. I actually didn't believe in the whole deck personality thing until I got three decks and they answered my daily pulls very differently and I started to pick up on it so glad I figured it out before I got this one. (I'm gonna give like two examples)

The thing with this deck is that, for it, it kind of relies on the stories associated with it, to the point that it can slightly change the strength or interpretation of the cards (realizing my horror deck does this too, sorting these under dramatic decks). The 10 of Swords is one of my favorite actually. There's a lot to her but this went with the one involving her father. There's a range of different reasons leading up to why her father took her out to sea to push her off the boat, cutting off her fingers to ensure she drowns, but it always ends the same: in one way or another she is able to grow into something that gives back in a way (she becomes the goddess of the sea, her limbs become animals that the Inuit can then hunt, etc). So it's a betrayal that can give way to a mindset of revenge, but subconsciously along the way the person will have paths open up along the way that can help others along the way or they'll grow significantly from it, yet their mindset is currently clouded until they can heal, but it's not as blunt as most 10 of Swords are.

3 of Swords is another one of my favorite cards because it doesn't directly mean heartbreak but more trust broken between lovers or people. It's a really sad beautiful Japanese tale (The Crane Wife) that relies on someone trusting their spouse who disappears for long bouts of time in order to make something that they can sell for stability, but his curiosity / paranoia gets the best of him, he breaks his promise, and then she has to leave.

9 of Swords is the funniest to me bc it's associated with when Oedipus finds out about his son (so overthinking leading directly to your downfall), 8 of Cups is associated with Moses so it has a more spiritual undertone, 10 of Wands is bittersweet because its about a father who searched for his missing daughter alone until he died and a tree grew from his bones (so I associate that more with family or people who rely on you), 7 of Wands associated with John Henry so pretty almost on point, 9 of Cups I no longer can find romantic when using this deck because it's about a guy basically becoming what the woman wants (because she does not like men) in order to connect with her (so....wish fulfillment? but I used it for a first date reading and it was very insightful), and 3 of Wands is actually one of the cutest cards in this deck because it's about a girl who gets her husband taken so she sets out on a journey to get him back no matter the obstacles in front of her because of the deadline (I think three days or smth)

I actually have way more problems with the original Rider-Waite deck. I haven't wanted to get it until recently so I can go general spreads for wider audiences so they can pick up messages they might need themselves, but it feels like A House in astrology, whereas other tarot decks feel like The Signs. I can get my messages from Rider-Waite but it like...ends there LMAO meanwhile I can get a whole painted story in different ways from my other decks, so I usually try and use my rider deck alongside something else

- (this is after the VW gets saved, and the one that saved him is meeting to give the girl a pep talk) -

The villain shuffles into the hospital, meeting with the eyes of the VW as he glances up from his clipboard.

VW: “hey! Thanks for saving me the other day :) appreciate it! You ready to meet the girl?”

B: “yeah…as ready as I’ll ever be, I guess? What am i suppose to say? I don’t do fancy motivational speeches like that captain, I don’t know how i’m supposed to encourage and help her…she’s going to be insecure, she’s going to be wallowing in a pit of uncertainty over whether she’s ever going to be…accepted. How am i supposed to help a girl with that?!”

The VW looks over at him with a gentle smile, steering B into a nearby seat, setting his clipboard on the nurse’s tray next to them.

“Hey. Hey. The fact that you know how she will feel, the fact that you worry about whether you can help her, is all that matters. You don’t need fancy words designed to psychologically rouse the masses - i personally have always found them pretentious - you just need to tell her what you’ve always wished to hear. Speak from the heart. Words really don’t come easy, but the rawest, most truthful and touching ones are those that come from the place of absolute vulnerability. Words from the mind, touch the mind. But words from your heart? They touch the heart.” He laughs, taking a pause. “Honestly, I could go on a whole spiel about why is it the speeches of villain appeal to the masses, and how they always gain so much support. You’ve got this.”

B simply nods, giving the VW a small smile, before resuming chewing on his bottom lip. Standing outside the girl’s door, he lifts his hand to knock on the door, before dropping it again. He pauses, leaning backwards against the adjacent wall. “What am I doing? Me? A fuckin pyromaniac helping a little girl? Heck, I can do fighting that obnoxious righteous moral spewing jackass in tightey-whiteys. I can do getting dropped from 10 stories. I could even do pickin up ladies with just my words. But this? No. No way in hell am i walking in there, just to disappoint that kid.”

He walks away, ready to tell the VW that sorry to disappoint, but he couldn’t do this.

The door to the room swings open, a nurse bustling out with her cart. He presses himself against the corner, hiding from the view of the nurse. He glances over, catching sight of a tiny, fragile girl in that all-too-big white sterile room, sitting up on her bed with a sad smile on her face. The door closes all too soon, but that sparks something inside him. He walks towards her door and knocks, as if guided by some impulse, a duty towards this little child.

“Come in! Did you forget something, R? I promise you that if it’s your stethoscope it’s gone!”

He takes a step in, still shrouded in the darkness that the entryway is covered in.

“OH! Hello! Are you lost? Do you need help getting somewhere?”

She beams at him, turning her body slightly to see him, and he sees it. He’s struck by the image of a child scarred across half her body, snaking past her uncovered arms and legs…and across her face, where a pure, warm and joyful smile sits.

He brushes his long fringe back and finds himself rolling up his long sleeves, almost unconsciously. For the first time, in possibly his whole life, he was willing to let someone see him. See him, with his scars on display, not hidden behind a mask, or his hair, or the long sleeves he always wore. He wanted someone to see him. He…wanted to let this girl know she was not alone, that she was not broken.

He stepped forward into the light, quirking his lips into an awkward, unsure smile.

“Hi, Emilia, I’m B, and a little birdie told me you wanted to meet me, so here I am.”

The child shoots upright, nearly clambering out of bed to rush to him.

(Ok she becomes quieter because the dialogue is meant to be poignant. The atmosphere is quiet. It’s two people reflecting, basking in the presence of the only person who understands their pain. There’s no need for pretences, to push the traits that make you likeable.)

Alarmed, he takes large strides to her bedside, catching her before she topples over, having gotten tangled in her blankets. He lifts her back up, before scratching his head, taking a seat next to her bed.

“Sorry. Didn’t mean to touch you without your permission.”

The child says nothing, simply nodding her head excitedly, grinning at him. She reaches for his arm, and he places it in her open hand. It’s so tiny. She’s so small. She’s adorable.

She traces his scars, and he waits for the wave of insecurity to hit him. For the voice that urges him to pull back his sleeve and not let anyone see his wounds. But today, it stays quiet. She points to her own healing wounds from the grafting surgery, saying, “Same.”

Now that he’s near her, he’s hit by the full brightness of her smile, the enthusiasm at seeing him, the anticipation of what he would do or say, and something pulls at his heartstrings, and loosens the string of tension and worry that has been restricting his tongue.

“Sorry. I’m not very good at this, haha.”

He pauses. The child offers another encouraging smile, holding his calloused hands with both of her hands.

“I guess…I wanted to let you know that these scars don’t matter. They don’t. They don’t take away the warmth of your smile, the fact that you brighten up the day of everyone around you. They don’t…they don’t…take away your worth. Or any of your beauty. Fu- AHahah don’t listen to anyone who tells you this. It’s a long road, but you’re not alone.”

“Not alone”, the kid repeats. “Not alone”. He notices tears in her eyes, tears that he doesn’t realise are reflected in his own eyes, and he is struck by the comfort that he finds in them. He isn’t alone.

He wills his tears back, giving her a brighter grin. “Did you know that in some cultures, scars are actually seen as signs of bravery? The more you had, the more brave you were among the tribes. They were warriors, feared, esteemed, respected for their wounds. You must be a mighty fine warrior. I bow in your presence, my lady.”

Their peals of laughter reverberates through the ward, ringing in the ears of concerned nurses, hiding watery smiles, in the ears of the kid’s anxious parents, sobbing into each other. She’s laughing. She’s happy. Not those calculated smiles and calculated giggles that hide a lot of pain and insecurity, full of the desire to be…desirable, but one of pure joy. One, of a child rediscovering their youth.

i am actually so upset i’m only listening to these songs now because wow! they are so good. at first i thought “distant past” would be a nice chill song and then suddenly the rap part came hahaha. and damn, he was spitting those lines, what a nice rhythm! also the pre-chorus? the way the baby can you leave it in the and the girl i’m from the very very were just distant in the background and then the distant past more audible- i see what they did there hehe. overall the song was very disco elysium of them lol.

i have to say that “fresh laundry” is a very valid topic to make a song about, there is nothing better. but also this song was so hauntingly beautiful and i could identify with the lyrics very much. didn’t know loneliness can sound so good. also the way she belts the no??? chills man. you said you were always on my side, but what if my side has changed too much? yes. genius. thanks for showing me this! <3 (i only knew her from “susie save your love” with mitski til now)

so happy you’re asking about bring me the horizon, because they are actually one of my favorite (i’d even say currently favorite) bands! it’s truly amazing how they changed their sound so much in the course of every album. i can see why not everyone likes every single one, but from what i saw and heard most of their fans are interested to see what they did when they release something new, because it’s always original and fresh, even when they end up not liking it. i’d be interested to hear which ones you don’t like! i have to admit i never listened to the first two, but maybe one day i will. not really sure where i’m going with this and if i start gushing over every detail i like now then i’ll likely never stop. so here’s a more general evaluation: sempiternal, that’s the spirit and post human are albums with no-skip songs for me! (and the doesn’t happen too often) only reason i do sometimes skip one is because some are so embedded in my memory that i get annoyed by myself with the amount of times i listened to them ahahah. i do think some are also a bit repetitive, but the choruses are mostly so nice that i don’t mind that. i’d say amo is overall their weakest lyric-wise, because there are some lines where i cringed a bit, but it still has some absolute bangers. for the follow up music to listen to… etc etc i have to be in the mood to enjoy it. but once i start it, i’m not getting out before i listened to the last song. also can we please appreciate their videos for a second? they are always so creative and dark. even from the lyric videos i can’t tear my eyes away. and i just wanted to mention that the reason they are my current favorite band is that they perfectly encapsulate the feeling of living in this crazy world in this crazy time. they are having an existential crisis in almost every song and i. love. to. see. it.

how do you think the chocobros and luna smell like? i bet gladio smells like sweat, hahahaha. iggy looks like he's always 100%...

Gladio: Works out a ton but also a big people-person. Uses soaps that smell like campfire, mellowed out a bit by faint orange-y citrus. This blends well when he gets sweaty, within reason ofc. It took him and Iris some time to find something that he liked and she said didn’t make him smell awful immediately after a workout lol

Ignis: Uses cleansing soaps with parsley and sharper, lemon-y citrus tones. The scent isn’t powerful, so you won’t notice his soap scent much unless your sticking your face against him probably. The scent of fresh, strong-brewed coffee clings to him. A slightly too avid handwasher, he also carries with him alongside the aroma of coffee, is a powder fresh scent from a simple lotion he keeps cause he dries out his hands on soap so much. (Instead of getting his shit together, teen!Noct gifts him some rubber gloves to help him stop messing up his skin so damn much cleaning after him lmao)

Prompto: Cannot settle on a scent he likes. Always trying out new things based on popularity and marketing and overheard gossip. He has a personal preference for things that focus on citrus, and develops an amusing fondness for tropical scents. Smells like Bath & Body Works lime and coconut type scents for most of high school, until Noct is like “dear god here” and gifts him a nice and more subtle cologne for his bday so the boy can stop experimenting and giving him headaches sometimes lol

Noct: Loves to look good and present well, so he is very, very particular about how he smells, but no one is allowed to know just how picky he is. Gentle florals with complementary citrus that you have to think about to notice is there. Jasmine with gentle orange is something he settles on, largely influenced by his time in Tenebrae. The scent of ink and pencil lead clings to his wrist on his writing hand.

Luna: Sylleblossom (which I hc as smelling something in between lavender and jasmine? idk if there’s actually something official on this ahahah). Her soaps have mild grassy-parsley notes under a sylleblossom perfume. Uses a lotion that mellows out the sharp floral with a gentler one, something in between vanilla and sugar, but quite mild. On healing days, she smells sharply sterile, very mindful that all kinds of sensitivities may cross her path, and since she has to stick her face in other people’s faces to heal, she doesn’t want them overpowered by fragrance.

I absolutely love how conflicted and complicated Ana is and how angry Pharah is. And she is absolutely right to be furious. But seeing it from Ana’s side also makes it ache in the BEST WAY, because she made a very human decision and is having difficulty owning up to the fact that it was a bad decision.  It’s painful no matter which way you look at it and it’s DELICIOUS.

Yes!! I am, and will always be, “Ana Amari did a LOT of things wrong” but I also understand how hard it can be, and that’s why that whole line of “You make a decision for long enough, you decide the only thing to do is keep making it” like I GET IT, I just object to fandom generally letting her off the hook for it ahaha. 

AND THEN YOU FINISH OFF WITH PHARAH / MERCY FEELS AND I AM DYING.  God I love them SO MUCH and you write them SO WELL and now I have FEELINGS and aaaaahhhhh .  Mercy the healer who can't heal this hurt I love it SO MUCH. Healing is what she DOES, but her strong beautiful wife is CRYING and she can't fix it and NNNNGGGHHHH

Pharah being raising by five well-meaning people but basically SAM WAS THE BEST CHOICE HERE LBR is my fav headcanon in life, and Pharah having to deal with the fact that these people she loved so so much are EXTREMELY FLAWED, and the pain of that, A+. AND YES, Mercy is not a fighter by nature but for Pharah she can do ANYTHING. 

I feel like I have more to say that's actually comments and not screaming but the words won't come.  Not at all related to the double punch of FEELINGS because Amari drama and Pharah / Mercy. NOPE NOT AT ALL.

This doesn’t hit me in the same way that your Pharah / Mercy-focused fics do (nor did I expect it to) but it’s so INTERESTING and SO GOOD and there are still a massive boatload of FEELINGS and just YES

His personal skill is Collector, which is super neat because hey! free stuff! :D He also has Seal Magic which could be good with his terrible less than stellar Resistance, and Good Fortune, which restores up to 20% HP EACH TURN, well.... based on his luck stat, which is..... pretty bad lmao- maybe he has a really good Luck stat growth idk (I peeked at the output file after having played the chapter and his stat growths are HP = 15, Str = 30, Mag = 35, Skill = 50, Spd = 25, Lck = 50, Def = 20, Res = 40, so yeah, pretty decent barring HP and Def haha;;;) But LOOK AT THAT STRENGTH HE’S A BEAST AND A C RANK IN SPEARS THAT’S FANTASTIC UGH- Kaze........ my man, I can’t wait to see what you can Heart Seal into it could probably be really cool, or..... pretty bad, idk anything could happen with this randomiser

Enemies to lovers: Of course I’d write this. Of course I love this. You know I like the rivals to dating trope when it’s done right. I mean, actually it’s 50/50 sometimes i absolutely hate it, and sometimes i really love it. Depends on the dynamic. But the way I see it: there’s either a ton of potential there, or they just don’t work together. Maybe I’m not going full-hog enemies to lovers and I’m thinking more rivals to lovers, but I’d write Strongarm/Sideswipe. Specifically, I wanna write a highschool au where they both get stuck together for a group project, and Sides is obviously that kid who like never fucking comes to class, and when he does he’s in the back of the room with his feet up on the desk getting snarky, and they get stuck together for this project and Sides is basically like ‘lol have fun doing the project for me’ except Strongarm is not taking any of that shit and she will literally handcuff Sides to her and make him do his half of the work if she has to. And basically they’re just fighting over this project for the entire semester, and they hate each other, but obviously that starts to change. 

A/B/O: Oh man, hahaha, talk about tropey. Tbh, abo has like, some potential for worldbuilding if you went about the biology of it the right way. But overall it’s like. God, it’s just a way to force roles on people. And imo there’s nothing really that abo gives you that a good sex pollen fic couldn’t give to you in better more creative means. I’d probably never write an ABO. If i’m gonna write about a dominant species vs a submissive species, I’d just cut out the middle man and leave the heats at the door and talk about tfa bots and cons because i mean like hello, look at those differences in power. It takes like 6 bots to take out a con. Conversely, if I wanted to write about heats, I’d just use sex pollen or any other kind of weird-alien-fauna type deal. Or maybe a virus if we wanted to get particularly kinky. That could be interesting actually. As to who I’d write… well… I’m open to suggestions. 

Soulmate au with the words: G A Y. Gaaaaayyyyyyyyyy. I’m gay, and I know this, but that would be particularly cute for saisonic. and I could probably be convinced to do something like that in the right au for choukei too but it would have to be that one royalty au that i’m already disgustingly soft for, or something similar. I disgust myself. Also, this was awhile ago, but i once saw a post where it was like a soulmate au, but they hate each other and upon figuring out they’re soulmates they’re like ‘ew no fuck that’ and i have always and still to this day think that that is the only way i would ever write waspbee. But that specific scenario would be SO GOOD for waspbee. And no eventually getting used to each other and deciding they actually are soulmates. They just don’t like each other and wasp picks on bee even more for it. Soulmates are fucking stupid. I actually found the original post to this idea!! Read it cause it explains it better.

Love/Hate at first sight: Okay I ain’t a big believer in love at first sight. But hate at first sight is REAL. That being said, as far as fic is concerned… I think i’d have a lot more fun writing hate at first sight. Hate at first sight would be fucking hilarious to write. Just like, illogical, irrational hatred. An All Encompassing Hatred. A hatred so intense that just thinking about them is enough to get you punching consoles and ranting to whoever will listen. A Hatred so spark-deep that your own minicons are starting to question your intentions, because, let’s face it, at this point you might be more interested in the hating then you are in the actual money involved with the original bounty. I’m just talking about Fracture’s hatecrush on Drift. I’d write the fuck out of that. It’s real. 

Stockholm Syndrome: Oh buddy u just said the magic words. I love love love the concept of stockholm syndrome. You know i do. You know i love the psychological shit. Of course I’d write this. There’s so many WAYS to write this. I mean, ShockBlurr, obviously. And I’d love to write more of them in the future. Blurr I feel would be pretty resistant to this kind of manipulation normally, being a trained soldier, but honestly that just means you get to go harder on him ahahah. And i mean, the whole Longarm thing lends a lot of weight. Waspinator, given everything he’s been through, and how often he’s been victimized, would be especially susceptible to this trope I feel. I mean, he wanted Blackarachnia to be his friend just because she listened to him for five seconds (well that was before he was Waspinator, but you know). You could get that dynamic with him and BA if you wanted, or with any other con. But like, tbh, to be honest, honestly? Whenever I see content with Shockwave and Wasp i fucking drink that shit up so quick. Touoso stockholm stuff i would fucking devour. I’d love to write it. I’d love to. 

3AM at Denny’s: I love shenanigan fic. Like. If you know me, which you do, then you also know that I love shenanigan fic. And do you know what my go to pair almost always is when i think of shenanigans? RodBlurr. The pure otp. the good ones. Go to Denny’s and have a silly adventure you two. Throw fries at each other and argue and talk about the not so chill stuff that just went down. Meet at 3 in the morning because you’re both always on and off planet and you’re schedules never line up and this is about the only time it actually worked out for once. Or maybe because someone snuck out of the medbay because cosmic rust apparently takes way longer to heal from than a full spark transplant. Just, go have fun boys. Live. Be free. My good ones. Au or not, it really doesn’t matter to me, meeting at 3AM at Denny’s is a fucking universal concept.
