By popular demand, here are some RP/Fanfic ideas I've written down over the last few months! (All of them being about the Deadly Six, because what else did you expect?)

If you like any of these and want to use them for stories/AUs or just take general inspo from them that's totally fine by me! Some of these ideas are ones I like and would like to see developed ; but don't feel like developing myself. So feel free to nick anything you like!

TITLE: Terror Temple

Starting with my two favorite premises which I might/probably will still do something with, but also really want to share because I think they're cool-

CHARACTER(S): Zavok, Zazz, Zeena, Master Zik, Zomom, Zor, Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Eggman, Metal Sonic, Orbot, Cubot

GENRE(S): Adventure, Supernatural

SUMMARY: As Eggman attacks Lost Hex once again and is chased away by the Deadly Six, he runs into an old temple where he is subsequently followed by both the Zetis and Sonic's group. As it turns out however, the abandonned temple may not be as harmless as it first appeared…

TITLE: Aftershock

(The Temple's Curse makes people's fears materialize ; such a filling a room with water due to Sonic not being able to swim and being afraid of drowning)

CHARACTER(S): Zavok, Zazz, Zeena, Master Zik, Zomom, Zor, "Mysterious Foes" (Optionnal), Sonic (Optionnal), Tails (Optionnal)

GENRE(S): Drama, Hurt/Comfort, Family

SUMMARY: When Zavok returns from a brief scouting mission around Lost Hex, he is horrified to find that someone attacked Zeti Castle in his absence. His home is ravaged, the mechs are in pieces- But worst of all, his pack has been gravely injured in the assault. It's now up to Zavok to pick up the pieces and care for his family, at least as best he can…

TITLE: Building the Pack

TITLE: Junior

SUMMARY: Master Zik, renowned warrior and sage, has decided to form a group of young warriors to protect the Lost Hex. He takes his young student Zavok with him on a quest to find more members for their pack.

GENRE(S): Family, Humor

TITLE: At Your Own Pace

SUMMARY: The Deadly Six's training grounds are a secret location, hard and perilous to reach… So when the group stumbles upon a small, lonely zetling, it's pretty obvious the poor child was left there… And needs to be cared for.

CHARACTER(S): Zavok, Zazz, Zeena, Zomom, Master Zik, Zor

GENRE(S): Family, Comedy

SUMMARY: Lost Hex, over a century ago. The Deadly Six won't exist for several decades, and Master Zik has only just taken five young students under his wing. He watches tenderly over Zavy, Zazz, Zeena, Zomom and Zor as his students train, grow and slowly find themselves, day after day.

TITLE: The BIG Swap

And the last two, which I don't really know how to classify-

GENRE(S): Comedy, Adventure

TITLE: On the 6th Floor // Mobius City

SUMMARY: Another day, another fight between the Deadly Six and the Mobians invading their territory. What happens, however, when one of Eggman's experimental weapons malfunctions, causing everyone to… Swap bodies with each other?! Wait, isn't this a really cliché and overdone trope-?

CHARACTERS: The Deadly Six, Literally anyone/everyone else

GENRE(S): Family, Friendship, Fluff, Comedy

SUMMARY: (Alternate Universe) A modern version of Sonic's world, set in the bustling town of Mobius City. Everyone has their own life to lead ; going to school, to work, falling in love, paying taxes, chasing their dreams, going grocery shopping… Hopefully with a little bit of fun and chaos sprinkled in.

(AKA the daily lives of a group of Zetis living on the 6th floor of their appartment building. Zavok is a succesful but tired salaryman, Zor is a uni student, Zik is a retired yoga teacher ; the others all have some kind of part-time job to support the family)

WELL HELLO, SWEETHEART

Pairing: Eddie Munson x Shy!Henderson!reader

Summary: what if Eddie took a liking in a different Henderson even before Dustin came?

Warnings: none

Eddie watched as the elder Henderson walked past their table, Books tightly in her grasp as she hurried to her own table and friends. He had being eyeing her for years now, but she payed no attention, not once had she ever talked or wasted her time with the freak of Hawkins High.

But Dustin adored Eddie, he would come out of his way to help the older boy and give him ideas for campaigns and songs even if he knew Eddie made them great anyway.

Eddie locked his eyes on her back as she sat down, making everyone on her table look up and smile at her, she didn’t have much friends. Only 3, one of them being Robin Buckley but that didn’t matter, it's not like he was Mr popular at school, but it still put a smile on his face to see her have close friends that she could trust, even if he wasn't one of them.

"Hey, Henderson?" Eddie asked his younger friend. Making the boy look up immediately.

"Yes, Eddie"

"Do you tell your sister about me? Or us ever?" Eddie asked him

"Well um. Not much but I've told her you're the DM of the club and some other stuff I guess" the curly headed boy shrugged

"So nothing about me?" Eddie glared. Not in a mean way but to look more serious than usual.

"Well yeah, I figured she would already know you since you're in the same year and all" Dustin said.

"You would think. But, no" Eddie laughed sarcastically while standing up and walking slowly over to the boy.

"After everything I've done for you guys, the endless campaigns, the taking you under my wing, would you find it in your hearts to...repay my somehow?" Eddie somewhat suggested.

"I mean yeah, sure. What is it?" The Wheeler boy smiled politely

"Put a good word in from me to her, would you?" Eddie replied, picking the boys up by the shoulders

"To who? Y/n?" Dustin stuttered at Eddie's sudden movements.

"Yeah. And while you're at it, go find Lucas, we cant let him be taken to the dark side. Yeah? Ok, go" Eddie demanded, pushing the boys away from him.

"Hey Y/n" your younger brother, Dustin greets as you dig through your locker, trying to find your sketch book. You look back and see him and Mike looking a bit distressed as they smile at you awkwardly

"Hi? What do you want?" you smile tightly, exaggerating the 'hi'

"Did you know Eddie gets great grades. He's super smart" Mike moves his hands as he speaks.

"Then how come he's repeated senior year twice" you say, puzzled and confused

"He repeated?" The raven head laughs, acting clueless to his friends failure in education

"Ok seriously, what do you guys what, I don’t have time for this" you shut your locker as you found your sketch book and turn to face them fully.

"Nothing. We just wanted to tell you how great he is. He's amazing, i- we think you'd love him" Dustin nods vigorously

"Sure, Dusty. I'm happy that you found a great friend but he cant be that amazing" you roll your eyes.

Truth is, you found yourself looking at The Munson Boy a lot, whether it was in the hall, Across the cafeteria or in class. You couldn't help it. You found yourself thinking about him before going to bed and it weirded you out to say the least. The first and last time you talked to him is when he bumped into you in the hallway while you we're a sophomore and he was a junior. You wouldn't actually classify it as talking cause all you said to each other was muffled 'sorry's' but you still counted it, yet you don't get why you care if it was talking or not. You knew a lot more than your brother and friends thought you knew about Eddie.

it wasn't your fault you asked the teacher to make you switch seats to sit next to him, was it? It wasn’t your fault you look at his doodles he draws on his desks. It wasn’t you fault for looking for him at pep rallies, you knew he wouldn't be there, but it was worth trying. It wasn’t your fault you couldn't keep your eyes off him when near him. It wasn’t your fault.

"Come on. I bet you have a lot in common!" Dustin pleads for God knows what.

"No. We really don't" you lied

As much as you would like to admit. You liked all the metal bands he did: Metallica, Dio, Wasp, Mötley Crüe.

You liked playing DnD. You played a lot in middle school. Got to level 29 but suddenly stopped playing as the satanic panic flew over. You didn’t want to be known as a freak. You were actually the boys Dungeon master for some time, so you had a lot of experience with the game.

“you don’t even know him yet, you don’t know that” Dustin complains like a child

“why do you care so much if I like him or not, Dusty. I don’t like him so just leave it alone” you say defensively and walk away from the boys.

from a distance you could hear Dustin scowl at Mike for making the mistake of telling you Eddie had good grades and acting like an idiot when you said he had repeated twice. 

You enter your class for the last period and sit down at your desk at the very back where the seat next to you, where Eddie was supposed to be, stayed unoccupied. You sigh and lay your head down on the desk, already bored out of your mind and just tired.

Everyone piles in the classroom and takes their seats with their friends and you stare at the door, not exactly sure what your waiting for, because he barely comes to class anyway but you still wait, just in case.

But he doesn't. Twelve minutes into the lesson and his seat still stays empty.

You start to fall asleep in your chair as a sudden open of the door interrupts the lesson.

"Well, nice of you to join us, Mister Munson" Miss O'donnell says annoyed.

"Yeah, yeah" Eddie mutters under his breath as he passes you to get to his seat.

You look down and your desk with your sketch book open on the only empty page left. The pen in your hand connects with your page and starts doodling random things here and there and soon enough you have a full page of hearts, stars, flowers and bees. A weird combination of drawings on one page but that didn't bother the person watching you.

Eddie found it cute how your tongue peaked out when you were so concentrated on your doodles and when he realised you sighed in a wasted last page of what used to be real sketches of people, animals and things, to now be your subconscious hearts and stars.

He watched you as you shut your book and look up at the boring lecture and finally pay attention.

He didnt want to stop looking at you and after the freshmen told him they had not only failed but made themselves look like idiots, he gave that idea up and wanted to give a good impression himself, if they couldn't do, he should do it.

Eddie stretches his arm out to lay in front of you. Making his sleeve go up more to leave you with a perfect size canvas of his arm to draw on. You look down at his gesture and then back at him, to be met with the side of his face as he looks at the front of the room. Trying to hide how nervous he would be.

"Go ahead, draw" he whispers, still looking ahead but moving his hand toward you more.

You smile sheepishly at him and pick your pen up again and draw on him, trying to be as gentle as possible, not wanting to hurt him in the slightest.

You have no idea what it was supposed to be while drawing it but when you look up to see if he's ok you see him already looking down at you, giving you a slight smile, you look back down at his arm in embarrassment and continue drawing lines and curves, shading some in and leaving some blank, to give some depth just to make it look half way decent.

The end of the day bell rings and you get up, packing your things and rushed out of there, not waiting for him to say it's bad or he doesn't like it.

You open your locker and put your stuff in for tomorrow, you drop your pen on the floor and bend down to get it and when you get back up your met with him in front of you.

"Well hello, Sweetheart" he beams at you

"Oh- Hi" you look away and place your pen away, Shutting the door of your locker.

"The drawing looks really cool. You're really good" he compliments

"Oh uh, thanks" you begin to walk away, not slow but enough so he can walk with you. You look down at his on show arm to see the dragon on his arm.

"So um. Dustin told me you play. You should join us sometime, it would be fun" he suggested

"I haven't actually played in a while" you laugh awkwardly

"That's fine. No one would mind, he just told me you were really good so I wanted to put you to the test" he shrugs

"I'll think about it" you say quietly

"You don't have to if you don't want to, I mean I get it, you wouldn't want to get called a freak like me and all, I just thought it would be fun to have you there" he shook his head in embarrassment and looks down his feet

"No it's not that, I just- I dont think you're a freak" you mess up your train of thought and stutter

"You don't?" He looks up, a bit shocked

"No, I don't really get why they even call you that to be honest" you murmur but he still manages to hear you. Making him smile in content

"Well thank you, that um, that means a lot coming from you" he smirks, opening the door to his van.

"You have a way to get home?" He asks hopefully

"Yep" I nod

"Ok. I'll see you later then" he starts the engine and winds the window down.

"I'll play" I tell him making him look at me while slowly back out of his spot

"Yeah?"

"Yeah" I smile

"Well our new campaign starts tomorrow so, you could come then if you want" he suggests

"Yeah sure" I agree

"Great. I'll see you then" he says and heads off

As I walk back over to my car I see Dustin already waiting for me on the passenger side

"I knew you liked him" he smirks

"Who said I liked him?" I unlocked the car and waited for him to get in before starting it.

"Come on. The way you were looking at him! You totally like him" he crosses his arms

"Do not!" I yell loudly before driving out of the car park

"Yes you do" he smiles

"Fine! I do, ok, there" I sigh in frustration

"He likes you too" he giggles like a kid

I’m an artist and animator who focusses on character concept art/design, and I have a particular fondness for g/t characters (wassup I'm new!!). One of my focuses is more casual/sublime g/t, like e.g. a character walking in the forest and then suddenly just stumbles upon something or someone impossibly huge just chilling around. However my personal favorite is the found family trope mixed with g/t, and I have many character and stories within this trope that I'll be showing off very soon!

WTF Friday: Mercato Edition

Quick end-of-mercato post...

Ok, quick rundown of mercato moves (no primavera stuff) and short commentary (in some cases VERY short) if any...which will mostly be for new guys from the final days of the mercato.

IN:

Charles De Ketelaere (AM) - €35M

Malick Thiaw (CB) - €8M

Junior Messias (RW) - €5M

Alessandro Florenzi (RB) - €3M

Aster Vranckx (CM) - €2M loan fee with option

Divock Origi (CF) - Free

Sergiño Dest (RB) - Loan with option

Let's get the known stuff out of the way: Messias and Florenzi good depth options for the price. Origi is young and athletic but who knows what he's going to do and is already hurt.

Ok, onto the new guys...

CDK AM/CF He looks to be legit and we're all waiting for him to explode. Has been mostly featured at CAM but last game due do injuries was pushed up front into the CF position, a role he played a lot at Club Brugge, and didn't really do much albeit with not all that much time. I personally want to see what he can do out at RW because Milan needs to get as many good players on the pitch together as possible.

Malick Thiaw CB A young 6'4" 21yr old German who came over from Schalke 04. I won't pretend to know much about him but here are his characteristics from Whoscored.com:

Strengths: Tackling (very strong), passing and ball interception (strong)

Weaknesses: Concentration (very weak)

Has started all 3 games for Schalke, played all 90 minutes for each game, has 2 yellows, 1 shot, and a 6.64 rating. Most important thing for me is that he's already getting quality minutes in a top 5 league.

Aster Vranckx CM Again, another young guy (only 19) and based on my not-at-all-extensive research, WS says:

Strengths: Blocking the ball (very strong), direct free-kicks and tackling (strong)

Weaknesses: Passing (weak)

Had only made one appearance (sub) from Wolfsburg from the Bundesliga this season but did play/start in 12 league games last season for them and had 2 goals in those 12 games. He also made 4 CL appearances for them last season as well. So a young kid already getting quality minutes in a top 5 league like Thiaw. I like...

Last but not least, the yankee doodle...

Sergiño Dest RB So ANOTHER young guy (only 21) and is the first American to be purchased (potentially) by the soon-to-be new American owners. Strictly from a marketing standpoint, this is a fantastic move. One of America's best young players, good enough to get signed by Barcelona (yes I know Barca is struggling but still) and get valuable minutes.

In his 3yrs with Barca, he had 72 appearances across all competitions, 3 goals, and 5 assists. As to the type of player he is, WS says:

Strengths: Holding on to the ball, passing, dribbling, and concentration (strong)

Weaknesses: Crossing, aerial duels, finishing, defensive contribution (weak)

Not sure what to make of these characteristics from WS. Whereas the other young guys had just a few things listed, Dest on the other hand, who obviously has more games/minutes to work with, some of these things listed seem contradictory. I can tell you that what I've seen when he has played for the US National Team is that he has really good pace, quickness, and likes to get forward. Obviously young and not without faults, I can honestly see Milan keeping him long-term, not just for the marketability here in the states, but because the kid can become really effing good. Plus, and this is a BIG plus for me, it can help keep Kalulu at CB since Calabria's days are dwindling in a Milan shirt.

I really like these end-of-the-mercato-moves, and while I, like everyone else really want to see Milan improve and lockdown the RW position, that position is expensive and might just have to wait until next summer.

I don't know what to do for college or the rest of my life, I barely have motivation for high school I feel like I'm just gonna flunk anything I do in college. For awhile everyone would ask me what I wanna do and when I replied with an IDK I'd get "oh you have plenty of time" even through my junior year, and now in senior year when they start asking I give them the same answer they're surprised. I don't feel like I'm good enough to do anything, I like to draw and sculpt but when on my own I don't. Single doodles are months apart even tho I have a million supplies I've never touched or rarely use. Just in my life in general I don't have the motivation to start most things, let alone finish. I'm sorry that was a lot.

Sounds like you’re experiencing some burnout, and possible depressive symptoms too. This is unfortunately not unheard of at this time in a person’s life.

Just remember it’s actually super normal to not really know yet what you want to do. The world is huge and right now you’ve just been focusing on trying to get through normal school. It’s not like you’ve been allowed a lot of room to expand yourself.

In college, things are different - you get a lot more choice in which direction to go, which things to explore.

You can take your required stuff at a slow pace and grab electives that make you curious to see what really catches fire for you. There’s also generally lots of clubs for various subjects and interests, and brief “classes” you can take to explore certain things (usually craft-related), which can help you find what you really want.

It’s hard to find your passion let alone act on it when you’re overwhelmed and tired. When you’ve been run into the ground and are being demanded to keep going, it gets impossible to engage in the things you enjoy. All you want to do is rest, which is a natural response because your body and brain want to recover.

A lot of people your age are put in this situation and it’s pretty unfair and crappy. It’s especially hard on neurodivergent people, who have a hard enough time trying to find something they excel at and enjoy without people ruining it for them, let alone thinking about our futures.

On that note, you may consider some counseling and mental health self care strategies. This won’t solve your problem of what to do in the future, but it WILL help you feel better and recuperate in the now.

oh my gosh that'd be so cool!! I love it when my old graduates come in and see their old teachers and juniors again. There was this one guy who graduated a while ago, but comes back every year to coach our school debate team, because he was a national debater himself. Anyways, I hope you'll be able to visit his school as a graduate someday!!

man my breakdown of art by year is wild, and this is only traditional, specifically sketchbook/doodles no digital art.

2001: 17 | This was literally one book of crayon drawings so not surprising

2010: 58 | Sophomore year of high school, didn't do a lot.

2011: 600 | Junior year of high school, I got involved in a bunch of DeviantArt groups and had like three art classes and just did a lot of drawing.

2012: 139 | Senior year of High school, not a lot of art, some of the stuff from 2011 probably belongs here, but I was bad at putting dates on things and reused sketchbooks that I had dated.

2013: 210 | Freshman year of college, I went to school for art so surprisingly little in my sketchbook, but I couldn't find my big portfolio full of charcoal stuff from figure drawing.

2014: 291 | Sophomore year of college, more of the same.

2015: 37 | Junior year, I started focusing mainly on digital art and coding since that was major, but I still did some sketching.

2016: 103 | Senior year I had a creative writing class and started working on my sci-fi novella so I did some art for that, but mainly it was just doodles and logo stuff.

2017: 75 | I was out of school and me and my friends started out podcast so besides random doodles a lot of this years stuff for our YouTube channel.

2018: 26 | I really lost the passion for art around this time and most of the sketches are of spaceships for worldbuilding my story.

2019-21: 194 | Almost 200 pictures over three years. I started working as a security guard at the end of 2018 and my desire to actually do art slowly came back and was coupled with me actually having time to do the art. Also from this point on everything I drew was on the colored cardstock parking passes that I give out at work.

2022: 71 | As of March I've already done more sketches than I did in entire years previously, so I'd say on on a track to make this one of my better years, I don't hate drawing anymore, but I also don't want to make it a job, I take the occasional commission, and I'm one guy's pocket T-shirt designer, and I'm starting to finally work on a comic in addition everything else.

All in all I'm relatively happy with where I am artistically, I've gotten so much worse in some regards than I was in like the early 2010's but I've refined my style to something I'm happy with and at the end of the day that's all that matters. Strive to get better and all that but know when you're reached your peak.
