I just think König who absolutely melts anytime you call him something sweet, sometimes gets so flustered he literally forgets how to english, and i don’t mean he’s stuttering so much he can’t form a proper sentence, all his knowledge of the english language just goes out the window for a good 10-15 minutes until he reboots.

This one time when you were delirious (prolly just woken up from a damn good nap) you hugged him from behind, and in your sleepy voice you whispered into his ear, “g’morning, sweetheart… missed you…” And he just completely short circuited, he was trying to respond in english so you could understand him better, but it all came back german. “g-gut-… guten morgen- liebling!! wie gehts?“ (good morning, darling. how are you?) and seeing the confusion on your face trying to do an internal translation whilst still being out of it, only made him even more flustered, and even a bit giggly.

He made you coffee right after, of course.
