Chapter two of the Chreon AU Strings of Destiny is up on BMC now. This is a very slow-going AU at the moment, although I hope to set aside time this weekend to really review and plot out both RE and LoZ WIPs and that’ll speed things up. Stll, please enjoy on BMC, as it probably won’t be up on AO3 for a little bit. :D

consider sanuso bodyswap where Sanji is of course "admiring" Usopp's body and Usopp is trying desperately to keep himself from getting worked up so that he doesn't light himself on fire.
Luffy and Chopper are not helping. They are in fact doing the opposite of helping. They've ramped up their pranks and are doing anything possible to get Usopp angry so that he combusts, freaks out, and then dives into the ocean to put himself out. They think it's hilarious.
Nami and Brook are Also not helping, since they're conspiring with Sanji to put on a fashion show with Usopp's body. Sanji called it "not wasting a precious opportunity to get him in something other than overalls". Usopp called it mutiny and he was gonna- dive into the ocean, holy fuck Sanji why is it so easy to catch fire?!
Best part about this is that Sanji assured him, several times, that his body doesn't get hurt by catching fire. Usopp still jumps into the ocean every time.
Robin pipes up at one point, asking if Sanji was immune to just his own flames or all flames. Sanji just kind of shrugs and said it depends. Franky, having just been leisurely watching all of this gets an idea. Would his Franky Fireball hurt Sanji's body or just give him more fire to work with?
He tries to coax Usopp into agreeing to test it out and, somehow, he manages it. Albeit, Usopp is all knocking knees and chattering teeth, a very odd sight from 'Sanji'. As part of the deal though, he can only shoot a fireball the size of his hand.
Usopp meant his small hand. The one Franky used for tinkering and fine detail work. He did not, however, clarify this.
So, when a fireball the size of Franky's big hand comes out, well. Usopp runs for his goddamn life.
It takes him a few moments- and the voices of his friends sounding distant and below him- to realize he hadn't, in fact, run to the men's quarters, but rather into the fucking sky.
And oooooh, boy he is gonna kill Sanji one of these days. Why was his body's first fucking instinct when running to go up, what the actual HELL-
Usopp lit himself on fire again.
He curses out Sanji as his Sky Walk fails in the same moment and he plummets towards the deck.

How do you think the Nimbasa trio would react to a positive pregnancy test? (Even if it turns out to be a false alarm)
False Alarm💀
Sorry this took so long, this ask came out of nowhere that when I first saw it I had to do a double take—
Maybe not the exact answer but lEMME GO AHEAD AND INFODUMP MY THOUGHTS ABOUT THIS—
They already discussed about their arrangements;
Marriage was a: "Not now but maybe until when the time is right (the three of them having only been dating for three years still)"
And: "Alright with having kids, but after they've actually settled down (and their schedules aren't as tight but the twins would definitely be the type of dads to wear a baby carrier and bring the kids to work if there's no babysitters available www)".
Elesa wants to too but she's the kind of mom who doesn't want her kids to be under the spotlight cuz y'know. But you bet your sweet ass that she'd spoil them rotten like the good mom she is!
The rules has been set, very original I know (xD) but the twins are the type to take it to heart so their reactions are pretty reasonable especially for Ingo www (Come on they care about her quite a lot and thought they had messed up by breaking two of them)
(Actually, there was supposed to be more pages to this that would explain their true feelings to it after the initial shock and Elesa explaining why in the world she decided to do a pregnancy test in the first place.
And she'd y'know, ask them a what-if possibility if it were a positive?
They'd be more concerned about her feelings and all, and it's up to her to decide what to do about, and whatever her choice would be, they would wholeheartedly do their best to y'know, support her, be there for her like the awesome boyfriends they are.)
Which if you want, you can ask for it again, I won't mind drawing the continuation to this, but it might be more fluffy than funny tho and of course, would take longer to post—

Daily excerpt from Underline the Gold 07:
The first real cramp hit within an hour, and it stabbed like a knife up through Flitmouse's insides. In seconds his back arched up off the bed and he screamed, shoving his fist against his mouth and sobbing as the twisting continued for long, brutal seconds, and Anton was there and saying something, and Flitmouse was baffled because this wasn't like his heats - even his bad heats - at all.
'It's going to be okay,' Anton said, his voice cutting through the pain. 'I'm getting Temsen.'
'Please-'
'He only wants to help you.'
'Just use persuasion.'
'I can't,' Anton said, managing to sound calm and frantic at the same time. 'We need to know what's going on, not mask it.'
Flitmouse nodded as the cramp untwisted, like something rapidly unwinding, and still his ass was making no slick, he felt no arousal, his lare glands weren't doing anything, his Kaeper glands weren't swollen.
Maybe he was dying instead. It was possible it wasn't a heat at all.
'I don't want to go to the hospital,' Flitmouse said, and then his face screwed up. 'Please, please, don't take me to the hospital. Please. I'm all right. We can just wait this out, it'll be fine.'

had myself an ugly time rereading some good ol' 80s comics, which feature imho some of the most devastating pages in dc comics history. tl;dr, its after '85 crisis, meaning kara has died (dick giorlando you live up to your name) and has also been pretty much wiped from existence in very comics fashion. she doesn't appear in continuity from '85 crisis until 2001, i dont think--with one exception. christmas with the super-heros #2 (1989). my babygirl.
its not super complicated--each hero gets their own little story on how they spend their holiday, helping others (superman), feeling sad about robin (batman), let some rich guy pretend to be santa (hal and barry), and deadman possess a repo man to make him give money to the people he's hurt. he also sends some wine and presents to his old friends.
and he's lonely. no one can see him. what's the point? is misery the reward for his acts of good?
and if they were going to do crisis.......
why the FUCK didnt they at least give us something like this.
