-Yes she trusts easily :/ mayhaps too easily. Her way of thinking is innocent until proven guilty and even then, it takes a looooot to make her start to doubt someone because she wants to believe everyone has good intentions. To earn her trust, being nice to her and other ppl is the easiest way, but she's also prone to trust you if you seem secure somehow or just in charge like a position of authority.

50. Why would they be a good partner for a road trip?

-Snacks. On demand. She packs every snack and drink you could ever hope for and stashes up on blankets and pillows too. The type to wanna play my spy and car games and to sing along really loudly to music. WILL stick her head out the window sometimes. Will want to stop at every roadside attraction. Just for fun the reason she might be a bad roadtrip partner is that she talks a lot. And will be loudly singing and sticking her head out the window. -Someone who looks like they're up for fun! Really into alt fashion and people who seem like they dont give a shit. Confidence, fighters, rebels, anyone she can party hard with. -Probably Zeke tbh. Since she turned him hes like the only other vamp besides prim she knows and hes always pretty level headed. Probably goes to him for advice on how to make friends and hes like “maybe dont break into ppls houses and drain their victims out of nowhere :/” and shes like “that was ONE TIME and it worked!!”

25. What are their dreams like?

-All chaotic! Theres seldom ever a storyline or anything, just bright colors and random things happening and an overlying sense of panic or dread. Like those images you look at to understand what having a stroke is like, everything is off color and melting and shes usually running away from something. Typically nightmares but about nothing in particular, just disconnected sounds shapes and figures.

52. What topic should nobody bring up around them, lest the other person be subject to a massive ramble/rant?

-ANYTHING to do with twilight. She knows everything about it. Has seen and read is 12 times over and can quote it directly at any time, do not attempt to argue twilight with her. Diehard team Edward forever. If your tied up and somehow the topic of it comes up just pray she kills you soon bcs she will go on for hours and bring out her annotated copies and force you to go through them with her.

Follow up (also sorry if this is a resend my tumblr app was being rude): DO U THINK KURAMA WENT TO HUMAN WORLD TO SET UP A BASE OF OPERATIONS.... TO MAKE A “KINGDOM” AND POSSIBLY RULE OVER HUMAN WORLD??? Or maybe. He just spent all his time stealing treasure for fun.... and finally he was able to use that hoard to pay for his mom’s honeymoon 🤣🤣🤣

When Raizen told Yusuke that Yomi also wanted to rule over the Human World, I thought this was Youko’s original idea lol. But, Youko basically shifted his base of operations to the Human World because at that moment he wasn’t strong enough to go against the two great forces that were consolidating in the Makai: Mukuro and Raizen.

Mukuro once told Hiei that his hiruseiki stone was just one of the many spoils she got from the many countries she had conquered. Kurama also told Hiei had no idea how terrible Mukuro was because he hadn’t been born yet. And apparently Raizen was a pretty fierce and savage youkai back then. Let’s not forget that Raizen stopped eating only 700 years ago and Yomi stated Kurama deserted Makai 1,000 years ago. Taking this hostile scenario into consideration, I imagine it became really tough to Youko to go on with his plan to accumulate wealth and build his own country in the Demon World.

I don’t think it was for fun, I really think he wanted to make a kingdom as you said, rule over Ningenkai and become an opposing force there. Kurama mentioned to Yusuke in the end of the manga that there were some types of energy not used by the humans that the Spirit World had great interest in. Kurama knew a lot about the 3 worlds and maybe he was also interested in that energy (probably the same energy that fed the Spirit World’s cannon). I read a cool fanfic once that tells the story about Youko Kurama’s 1,000 years in the Human World. It was really fun, he visited many countries, became ruler of some of them, stole great treasures and so on until he got caught by Shunjun. If I find the link again, I’ll share it.

As you said before I don’t have all the answers 😂😂 but I also like talking about this stuff. I don’t know if you are the same person who asked about the Three Kings Arc and Japanese honorifics like "Kuwabara-kun", but I’ll reply them. It’s just I haven't had much time lately. My apologies.

Thank u for responding to my question about Kurama ruling over a kingdom in human world!!! i really find this stuff fun to think about!!! i have always thought it was strange that with the kekkai up that kurama says he "escaped to human world" after being injured, bc it would be strange that he would have the strength to do something like that if he was fleeing... so the knowledge he has been in human world already makes me think a lot more about what he was doing in his time in human world! -🦇

That part “escape to the Human World” was really confusing. We don’t know exactly where he was injured. I’ve always imagined Youko was snooping in the Spirit World or was lured there, got caught and then fled to the Human World. It’s hard to imagine how he got caught. A youkai like him being so careless? I’m sure Reikai had a real good stratagem to capture him and planned it out for centuries.

But, given the fact this story was told in the beginning of the manga and Togashi hadn’t introduced yet the concepts of the barrier, the author could have forgotten, I don’t know lol. Hiei also said Yukina and he had different mothers and suddenly they are twins XD. The story of the janken is also funny. Hokushin also mentioned that the barrier was not a problem as there were several ways to cross it. I wish Togashi had developed more this other methods as he only showed the device to reduce youki.

Since working as a host there have been a few things that I would like to normalize

Treating customers the same way they treat servers/staff.

STOPPING AT THR HOST STAND! Just because you are going up to the bar or if I’m with another customer dose not exempt you from getting your name and phone number taken down. Because guess what if you walk past the host stand and I am working I will come up to your ass and ask you for your information, and I am not scared to do so. If you are a regular and I actually remember your name fine but if you claim “I was here earlier” or “I’m in here every day” im sorry I see at the least about a hundred faces and names a day just at least give me your first name.

(This is for certain servers) I AM NOT YOUR BUSSBOY! Unless it is specifically stated in the contract(it is not stated in mine) I don’t have to clean your tables, because I have so many servers get bitchey with me over the fact that their tables aren’t clean. Bitch I get paid to seat people and WIPE DOWN YOUR TABLES not clearing them of the dishes. And if I do clear the dishes it’s either to be nice because I see that you’re busy, or because I’m busy and the waiting room/host stand is full/busy.

If it is dead, please PLEASE DO NOT hoard dirty menus. It is not fun to run out of menus halfway throught a dinner rush then have to tell your table “I’ll be back with a menu in just a minute” then spend several minutes more than intended cleaning a ‘generous’ stack of menus just so all the tables you sat then have a menu

Let me know if you want a certain table, as a host I live in the land of tables and chairs. If you want a certain table I can try to get you it so long as it work with my rotation, and it’s not already taken.

Asking your server or host to do certain things. This differes with every establishment but in mine the most you can have at a table is 10, you can’t move chair or stools from other tables. So ask if you need another table please don’t just assume you can steal from this other table as a restaurant we have rules we need to follow to keep everyone safe. Same gose for things like a heightchair we have safety rule we have to follow, we can’t have heightchair in the lanes bc it’s a fire hazard and it can potentially injure serversif they don’t see it when walking, therefore we take away a chair at the table and replace it with the heightchair. Please don’t move it into the lanes if you don’t use it.

Please don’t assume what I as a host can and can’t do. I’ve had so many people ask if I can grab their food or drinks, legally I can not serve food or alcohol till I’m 18. So at the moment the only thing I can grab you is napkins, a takeout box, a bag for the takeout, extra sauce, or a water.(and run to-go/call-in/DoorDash(etc) orders to the host stand) Please don’t argue with me over it because myself and my employers can actually get into very serious trouble for it, yes it can seem stupid but A) Child labor laws and B) it’s not the same at every establishment but in this establishment that is the rule. So if you wanna get mad at me for following the guidelines at my job fine but it’s not gonna get you anywhere.

STOP MAKING THE CREEPY “Oh so because I gave you my number I get yours” COMENTS ANY COMMENT LIKE THAT IS CREEPY AND UNCOMFORTABLE AND UNNECESSARY JUST DONT. I AM A MINOR.

(Another one for the servers) Coming up to the host stand to ask me about stuff like drama. I am a host, I don’t have the convenience of getting to hang out in the back with the servers so unless someone told you for a fact that I was their please don’t ask me “did you hear what happened with so-n-so” because more than likely my answer with be “no I didn’t”

(This is technically a 9.5 but tumble dosen’t do that type of stuff) PLEASE COME UP TO THE HOST STAND TO FILL ME IN ON DRAMA. If it just happened and I’m their please fill me in so I can give people an answer when they ask because again I don’t have the convenience of getting to hang out in the back with the servers. Which also mean that I just wait for people to enter the building and leave the building. Do you know how boring that is/can be?! I need stuff to occupy my thoughts as I wait for people to come in

(This is technically 10((it’s again for the servers) let me know when you get cut(when your shift ends) because chances are the manager hasn’t told me so I’m gonna be seating your section and telling people “_ will be your server” and it’s not true. Plus then I can adjust the sections

so it turns out “the scalled” are... some kind of leper colony banned from the town and left to fester and rot out here alone

most of them are just lying around suffering and dying, i dont know what the fuck happened to them, there’s some mention of like. wildly untreated syphilis/potentially other stds they’re being told is their curse for the sins they’ve committed but does.... syphilis do that to you. it might actually be leprosy i dont know i dont want to research this. all i can think about is when i watched jesus christ superstar in high school and the leper colony song where they’re all crowding around jesus all trying to touch him REALLY freaked me out for a while

i mean its like. probably a combination of disease left horrifically untreated and massively infected given the absolutely appalling conditions these people are living in (everything’s run down and full of blood and shit and who knows what else), starvation, who knows what they’re even finding to eat out here so that’s probably causing even more disease but still jesus christ

at first it just made me really sad, sure these people came from temple gate too so they were. fucked up cultists to begin with but a lot of this is like... result of longterm emotional and mental abuse and manipulation, some of these people might not have started out as depraved evil murderers, and like. nobody deserves to live like this. except knoth lmao throw him down here, but

so i thought maybe it would turn out that you realize they’re human too, they’re just in a fucking LOT of pain and maybe you can’t do anything to help them (i dont think there’s any hope for anyone down here at this point) but maybe they’d turn out to be on my side and do something to help me fight back against the leader who abandoned them, “the most absolutely fucked up looking people are actually the most human” kind of thing but uh. that is not how things went. at all,

ill get into How Fucking Bad this got in a second lmao but like

most of them dont really do anything to you other than bleed on you and beg you for help, some people lash out but thats like, understandable given the horrifying state they’re in, but

as it turns out, being the “scalled messiah” is a VERY bad thing, they went from occasionally lashing out at me to outright tracking me down to murder me to death which, like, honestly kind of disappointing

bc one of the things i liked the most about the first outlast was how many of the prisoners were clearly just victims too, some of them (lookin at you, naked twin guys,) were just evil and murderous but some of them were just very very mentally unwell (exacerbated by horrible living conditions and the fact that the people who were supposed to be protecting them and helping them recover were actively, intentionally working to make their symptoms worse) and couldn’t really be blamed for acting violently toward you, but

then sometimes there’s people who warn you about dangers ahead, people sitting in corners hiding and scared and wont hurt you unless you give them a reason to think you might be a threat, people just trying to stay alive, people who need help

but that’s. not the case here, and there’s definitely a particular kind of horror in “absolutely no one in this hell town can be trusted, nobody will help me, everyone here wants to hurt me and every time i think ive made any kind of progress it gets so much worse” (except that ONe guy who tried to protect me. im still sad about him) but. i dont know i feel like there’s a missed opportunity here. im not sure if im supposed to feel like the scalled deserve to be like this because of the kind of people they were before, but i dont. i feel like the “what the fucking shit HAPPENED to these people” horror is heightened by the realization that they’re people, and just kinda using them as attack zombies is. missing something, somehow. i dont know, i cant figure out how to word what i want to say here

i mean its absolutely fucking horrifying, i was scared out of my mind going through all this, and i still gotta give props to a video game experience that left me legitimately feeling like i needed to go take a shower and crawl under a blanket for a while

this whole time i kept thinking something would happen and they’d get interrupted, I’d escape somehow, they aren’t really going to have the player character get literally fucking crucified from your own perspective,

but then the nails go in

and you’ve got one hand literally nailed to a cross

and then they start the other one

Im not intelligent at all. In the conventional sense. The ramblings of a girl who just has sooo much going in in her head it's constant. But im not a genius. Or that confusing.

It just sounds like I am bc fandoms have this issue where they can JUSTSO point out the issues in soletiing. They can pick and prod and go oh problematic! But then you go to name the problems and the difficulties within society like for ex: the idea of representation in general. Salivating over it. How fucking sad that is. How we are trained to accept it. So in a BL and also RACE in the bl genre they exploit viewers naivete both domestically and internationally. Ive seen tons of people liken being asian to being a person of color. However, in their predominantly homogenous society (or intentionally publically homogenous society), they are not "poc" (also name the of color; i dont use bipoc idc if u do but it's called being asian guys cos yall aint talkin about black ppl lmao)

They as humans seeing other humans who look like them everywhere, engage with the world differently than an american in asia or asians living outside of their home country (like bae doo nanwhen she worksnin the US is not the same as the bae doo nanworking on a korean program) I dont complain about it in everything i see bc ppl say it ALL THE TIME. but it is NOT the same. Being a person of color is very distinctly an american concept. This is all stuff people will get to know on their own if they choose to dig more.

I do my best to underline what my ugly little eyes process. How i figure things out as a black female american artist too! Im hard on shit cos i should be. I take it seriously. And even if i dont take it seriously bc THEY dont then thats their problem.

I know this is a complaint that I am not alone in. I know it's the internet. I just don't get how people can write really heavy analysis but they refuse to actually probe the underlying issues. Not everyone is me, or like my friends, but if there's way fewer people talking about this stuff it seems absolutely glaring when theres few people engaging in the way i do. It seems like im the glitch but I am thinking just as much just differently.

I really loved where your eyes linger but there was little deep class analysis. I remember few convos a bout it. I know a lot about korea (sigh being a black ex kpop fan lol mess) and i love the history but all ofnit matters! Korea's relation to labor!

People bringing up thai actors snd actresses leaving the industry and doing acting as something quick. As an artist~ who went to film school with insanely wealthy ppl and isnin tons of debt you have to understand how shitty that is. People have monetary access and they just fucking do whatever just because they want to. Meanwhile you have young people being coerced into this bullshit mainstream life to LITERALY just make money bc they dont come from a rich background. The wealth gap in thailand is BAD, theres a dictatorship, they had a fucking coup. The governments like here do not respect their people. Their marginalized groups. Trans thai women, black thai ppl, poor thai ppl. And it LITERALLY CANNOT DO ANYTHING EFFECTIVELY IN CAPITALISM. No nothing can be perfect but if it's going into our eyeballs and we can view the worlld critically then why the fuck not!???

I dont say the things i see are wrong always. I reply when i think i need to. I try and engage with others but not to kuch avail. I just want to rb stuff and tdhink lajfhhdjwhjej.

But like yea theres a lot of just wrong or misguided stuff. A lot of the times it is just historical inaccuracy in framing or idk. A refusal to think outside the box. I dont care. Theres more to life than just sort of looking and not thinking especially for othrr artists.

Idk im sorry. I dont see how i can change how i view things. I really wish people would expand their palettes too and go deeper into other means of art from places! Things not in the mainstream! Theres a lot of good thai artists and a lot of them critical as fuck about their country as they should be. Authority, austerity, patriarchy, capital, racism etc like that is central to a power thats interested in growing gains and fiscal and social power. Theres rly radical or left leaning etc ppl out there in the world and these countries in these communities. So they exist. No people in these countries dont have NO clue whats going on. Cultural relativism is alsos something people should understand. I had a good talk with ppl on here a while ago about that. Talking about shit, critiquing, but being respectful to a group. Part of thay is realizing these groups CLEARLY know their own issues and all our cultures share the same goal. Guess what it is. It rhymes with acquiring wealth. Money means you hurt people. In the post, we talked about use of "wife" and "husband" which is a stupid joke that has been "explained" a billion times and yet the explanations still dont seem to answer or justify a minor problem (it's very funny to me that a language that doesnt have gendered pronouns is now very specific about two men. Hmmm wonder why. It is annoying.)

So im not the only person on the planet doing this. Or the few ppl ive seen that do. Im not new my thoughts arent new. Ive gotten to see another side to a culture i knew not much about and that means i can put the context of my beliefs and life and try and understand thheirs. For ex i learned from ITSAY because of a sign that said 'french food' that they were the only country to not be colonized back then. Do you know how integral that history is to their region? That was an interesting detail (i didnt finish itsay bc ihad a lot going on and i was rly upset that i would see hownrich they are and i hate that.)

Anyways thats my complaint. It used to feel like a sting of rejection. I left online for months in 2019, i started organizing more, joined a union, trying to do some panther work shit like that. I learned a lot in those months and it changed my life! But when I came back, I felt so isolated. It wasnt my true friends tho sometimes theyre ANNOYINGGGGG (love u) but it was me being like "if we are going to complain guys then lets put our money where our mouth is" lets be fucking serious about it then. No say it with your chest dude. It isnt difficult. Go with the fucking flow, talk about it, critique it, think. You can still fucking like itnor love it.

I am BLACK ok and i love rap. I am a black woman. I will continue to clown black men that cant seem to not clown themselves and listen. No i wont support monetarily: drake is a creep and i hate him but i bump that niggas song. Thats fucking LIFE. I got so sick of hiding myself and it became clear that it wasnt that i wasntthinking well or hard enough. They just didnt like that i said we need to commit class suicide and inspect out middle class sensibilities and middle class wealth hoarding (google it) if thats what we engaged with. Every part of you, antagonize it. I still have my privileges; class, skin color, even my father being a nigerian immigrant, me being cis, im not str8 but not a lesbian and those are differences.

Insecurities in general but some shallow thoughts (?) on discussion in "fandom" space. FYI, this will most likely stay the same. I tend to stay in my own bubble socially IE me and my friends are similar in our views. During this awful year while running my union's account, im surrounded by like minds. Me and my friends? We changed together. We grew up and saw what we didnt like and what we want. We do our best.And i CHOOSE my life to be that way bc it should be. There is no solution. I dont believe in solutions because the solution is to abolish capital or just divest. Abolishing capital and labor are a huge one and i will die before that happens (but so help me as long as im alive? Black women to FREEDOMMMM is my motto!) so making your own path in life is the best thing an artist can do IN MY OPINION.

However with technology and stuff this puts another layer onto things. Tech, social media, this shit....it THRIIIIIIIVESSSSSSS off of conflict and shallow readings of the world. We are literally primed for it. Engagement in bites. Impossible for me with my brain; i got used to it and i paid for it by limiting my scope. Not being encouraged to THINK AND READ before just speaking

(For ex i am in iww, i helped form a branch here. It is a radical union. Unionism is imprative to me-if ur interested u should read up on some. Look up peter cole! Google inthesetimes Ilwu. Gives you some understanding. Ive always been progressive and now i am....very left idk ic ant label myself. But even in my progrssiveness i had the gall to tell my white friend, whoa has her privileges but i had mine with our class disparity, that we dont need unions, i have WORKED retail. Ive done barista work for sonoing and i do gig work. So i wasnt out of touch. I had been stiffed even with a shoot i was working on by rich kids. So i had a frame of reference . But i didnt know what the FUCKa union was and why it is imperative. Then learning about anarcho syndicalism and all these other things. It changed my fucking life but two years earlier i was this idiot spouting shit like that making one of my best friends fucking upset. We DO AND CAN CHANGE. Think!!!!)

So were i a creator for tv id just constantly try and push the buttons if i need big money. Make them sell into me (thank you sonic youth!) theres Endless possibilities guys which means theres SO MUCH TK EXPLORE!!!! When i wanna have fun with it i just have fun. When i want to think i do. I dont understand why we are so dedicated to upholding things and doing mental gymnastics to end up in a space you dont need mental gymnastics for. What about these critiques makes you uncomfortable? Saying we're all part of the problem as spectators? Im sorry but we will always be. Thats LIFE. God fuck. Fuck me. I feel so fucking worthless and stupid sometimes. I know I am not. I know i am talented and intelligent. I know my friends and family. I know how to approach ppl. I know how to tell people if they are rich but want to be progressive whatsup. I choose how i live part of that is being ok to say what i want.

Ironically consrrvatives say this shit alot. But they arent ever alone bc their ideology is default. But yea it does feel shitty. It even feels shitty when ur in left circles but people STILL dont even wanna do that. These perspectives really arent ss many as they should be. I dont want to feel so alone with it. I know there are more. I just love art and the world so fucking much, endless possibility. Endless pain but endless good.
