sure!!! werewolves are rad for gender stuff because its like.. "thing inside of you that wants desperately to get out and be itself and be visible and that will always be part of u whether u want to accept that or not" <- am i talking about werewolves or being trans? the world may never know. a lot of my more general gender feelings about werewolves are shaped by/borrowed from the werewolf pride movement also ^_^

ive not actually sat down and tried to put MY particular flavour of werewolf gender stuff into words so forgive me if this is kind of rambly or doesnt make sense. i truly dont know how to describe my gender in traditional terms, but its like.. if a wolf was a guy. (?). on top of that, for me being trans isn't just about my gender presentation/feelings, it's also deeply connected to the act of transitioning. werewolves totally feel like they match those feelings (they exist in a perpetual transitional-state) AND my ideal gender presentation IS basically a werewolf (hairy, traditionally masculine but not in a cis way, wolfy). i'm also a wolf therian, so it feels extra right to describe myself as something that shifts between wolf and human. adding that all together on top of my fascination with trans werewolves and u get my weird werewolf gender. like i am a werewolf. u get it

#dont love therian as a term to describe myself (feels off and ill fitting) but its. the closest thing i guess #werewolves also resonate with my experiences being autistic so that intertwines it even more with my brain stuff #hard to put into words but very fun to think about -w- #askbox of inquiry #werewolfisms

Working on making communication cards. I’m very talkative and pretty good at advocating for myself, but I wonder if I would feel less overwhelmed if I tried using communicating cards.

Of course I’m going to have the standard “yes,” “no,” “please give me space,” etc… but I’m also going to have things like a “FUCK YOU” card, a “can I talk about my special interests?” card, and a “SHUT UP” card because I swear like a sailor irl and I WILL infodump about werewolves or late 2010’s-early 2020’s musicals or cat genetics. (Hmu if you wanna learn about werewolves or musicals or cat genetics)

Anyone else remember how the sisters canonically just. become fucking werewolves under the Blue Moon? And how they never even attempt to explain it? Because seriously, they don’t even try to explain it! It just. happens?! There is no explanation! The sisters are super flippant about it, too, being like yeah, next time will be in the retirement home lol. Meanwhile, they outright attacked multiple Whitelighters? 

I mean, is it hereditary? Presumably, right? Because if it is, the sisters might be a lot older, but it would also be the Twice-Blessed, their other seven or eight kids, and any potential grandkids becoming werewolves. They couldn’t even restrain the sisters, even more wolves is bad! And despite the sisters’ flippancy, even if it just the sisters for some reason, they’d still be older and presumably more powerful as well. It’s not as if we really see witches’ powers decline with age, if anything, it’s the opposite.

Plus, the only reason that they were attacking Whitelighters was because of their frustration with the Elders. It was only luck that they were attacking some of the only beings it wouldn’t kill. In fifty years? There’s no telling who it could be, and most other people would die. There’s no Whitelighter-immortality keeping them alive until they can be healed, they would just die, end of story.

But seriously. Why did they become werewolves. Why were they so calm about this. What the fuck was up with that
