Welcome to the Baldur's Date Challenge!

Please be aware this event will include spoilers to characters, storylines, and endings, as well as NSFW content. Proceed with care!

The idea is to create something themed around a Date or Valentine Event. It doesn't even have to be romantic or positive, there are lots of ways to take this from Valentine's Cards from characters to slow burn romance to fully brutal heartbreak and violence. The choices are yours!

The Rules

By participating, even in the SFW version, you agree and confirm you are 18 years old or over.

All creators retain full rights to their works, subject only to the conditions of the platforms they share them on (ie, AO3)

Submissions must contain at least one named character from Baldur's Gate 3

Submissions must also be based around a date, valentine-type event, or similar

AUs, non-canon, alternate versions of characters are all WELCOME

You may choose your own prompt, or use the quiz to help you decide!

Poly Romance Welcome

Characters only, no actors or real people, other than using "Reader Insert" with 2nd person writing styles.

All works must be tagged appropriately for any CWs (please ask TavyliaSin for a list if required)

All characters must be 18 or over in the game as well as in the work you create

No characters in romantic relationships are to be related to each other.

Trans and gender-swapped characters are welcomed, unless it is only for the explicit purpose of making a canon homosexual couple into a heterosexual couple (eg, making Aylin a man so that the relationship with Isobel is straight)

Deadline is 10th Feb to allow for time to check entries

Collections will go live just before midnight on 13th Feb so they are ready to be viewed on Valentine's Day

How Do I Join?

You can either send your submissions directly to the AO3 Collections, or if you don't have AO3 you can wait until 14th Feb and reblog/retweet the posts I'll make for the collections on the day to add your contributions. It's open to EVERYONE who is 18+! Join in, give it a try! Submissions on AO3 close on 10th Feb 2024 (just before midnight GMT/UTC 0) so please try to get things in on time to be on AO3 so we have a few days to accept and check submissions. The collections will go live on 14th February for Valentine's just around midnight UTC0/GMT

Select "Post to Collection" to add your work! All works will be hidden until the collection releases on 14th.

Are there any Prompts?

Yes! Aside from the general theme there are prompts for art and writing (and anything else) on the following google form. You can roll dice to decide for you as each question has numbered answers and instructions on the dice to use! But you don't have to stick to the result you get - choose what you like. You don't even have to roll dice at all if you don't want to, just take a look at the selection for some ideas and choose what's interesting in it.

PROJECT DAYDREAM WILL BE A RECREATION OF THE ICONIC STORYLINE OF THE DREAM SMP, WITH YOUR OWN CHARACTER HAVING THE PROSPECT OF TAKING THE PLACE OF A CHARACTER FROM THE ORIGINAL STORY.

I WILL BE UPDATING ROLES AS THEY ARE TAKEN BELOW AND THE CONFIRMATIONS WILL BE IN THE WEEK BETWEEN OCTOBER 1ST AND 7TH.

REQUIREMENTS:

You will commit to your role. Once you tell me what role you want there is a very little chance I’ll change it so you better be happy with your choice.

A general knowledge of the role you’re playing. If you’re playing Wilbur or Ranboo’s character, you should know that you’d be playing their ghost version and revived version if they get revived; if you’re playing Fundy you may want to make yourself familiar with his cannon nightmares.

A light attitude! This whole rp thing is supposed to be fun, and if somebody is doing anything that makes you uncomfortable or threatening you, come to me immediately.

GENERAL OVERVIEW:

We will be ideally going through the entire DSMP storyline, from the start to end. You’re welcome to change plot lines to create an alternate timeline, but it is crucial to communicate that with everybody (especially me) to ensure that everybody is on board with it. This is a great time to fuse your character making and playing abilities with your knowledge of your blorbo!

To word it a bit better, you’re creating an original character who will take the role of a specific DSMP character.

Let’s say I create this character called Elle Woods (i’m a basic bitch okay), and she’s in the role of Jack. She’s gonna go through his part of the story and essentially fill in all his role. She’ll be a part of all of Jack’s arcs, and I’d play her out. She doesn’t have to do everything by book, but that’s specified above. Also, your character doesn’t have to be exactly like the original role’s character by any means. Certain things that are species specific such as the enderwalk can be either adapted to your character or even taken out or substituted (I have my limits, but you gotta talk to me before we both know them).

When is the last time to register?

OCTOBER 1st

The rp will be starting on the 7th of October, and I will be letting you guys know your roles in that week, giving you a week to prepare. Use it.

Hi there!

You can call me Scotty. Non-binary (they/them), age 21+. I’m seeking for long-term RP partners (preferably 18+).

Here’s what I’m looking for:

Literate style (length doesn’t matter as long as you give something to work with. Quality over quantity!)

So because I don't often post about these on tumblr; Riley is kind of a joint OC that I ship with Kinzie's hc of well... Kinzie, for RP. I can see her working with canon Kinzie too though! And Alix is my OC that I ship with Kinzie's OC Calista.

Kiley (Kinzie x Riley)

Pre-relationship 2: What was their first impression of each other?

So they actually had a really brief first meeting back in 2016 years before they meet "properly" which is in 2022 and not yet fully decided on. Riley was a fairly young doctor at the time and was brought to the big 4th July party(that's a huge part of Casey's rise to President and very important to the overall Out Of Time storyline) by the slightly slimy hospital owner more or less looking for arm candy.

When Oleg and Kinzie call out for a doctor for Matt(from the future, relevant), who has been shot, Riley responds and comes outside with them. However by the time they do so, Matt has been jumped back to the future to access Zin medical care, so she ends up more or less just checking if Casey is OK and then leaving.

She and Kinzie probably don't think much of each other at that time. I think we talked about Kinzie having some sort of odd feeling about Riley but shrugs it off because she has odd feelings about a lot of things, lol. I think later if they connect the dots it would be so intriguing to them both though to remember that! That they interacted in this small way because Kinzie just needed someone and Riley was there, and now she always will be.

General 2: Did they have an official first date? If so, what was it like?

I'd like if their official first date was at Roasted because we've had them meet up there in a specific setting before, but for the canon/Countdown universe, they could still time jump there. I think it's very chill which suits them both as they're both naturally kind of tense and it would relax them. Just gives them a chance to unwind and it's not too overwhelming for Kinzie in social terms because it doesn't tend to get too busy on a weekday, when they'd likely go.

Love 5: Who’s better at comforting the other?

Going with your hcs, definitely Riley comforting Kinzie, I think that's one of the main reasons Kinzie likes her so much actually is that she takes care of her. But I think the same would be true of canon because canon Kinzie definitely isn't very comforting! Riley can be abrupt when it comes to work but she's sweet when it comes to her personal life.

Domestic 6: Who kills the bugs in the house?

I feel like Kinzie would not do much about any bugs so definitely Riley. She's a doctor so values cleanliness and finds them really off-putting. So while she might release some humanely, she would want them dealt with as quickly as possible and sometimes that might mean killing them.

Calix (Calista and Alix)

Pre-relationship 2: What was their first impression of each other?

I think Alix was immediately taken by Callie's apperance; xe thought they were really beautiful and also liked their legs in the fishnets. From Callie's end they thought Alix looked really cool and liked xir rainbow hair. You'd be best to add if there's anything else they thought 😊

General 7: Who takes the lead in social situations?

I think while they're both fairly confident, I would imagine Calista would be a little more chill and go with the flow whereas Alix might be a little more decisive. Neither is really a wallflower though so it probably alternates!

Love 9: What kind of nicknames do they call each other?

Alix calls Calista "darlin'" most of the time, I think they call xem "babe" in return, and then Callie and Allie 😊 obviously Calista already gets called Callie before meeting Alix but Alix never really went by Allie before but xe finds that really cute that Calista calls them that.

Domestic 2: What's the wedding like? Who attends?

All the Saints would be invited from Callie's side, and from Alix's there would definitely be a lot of other farmers because unlike on earth, Alix probably works with a large team on Ragnarok as they would all be really important to setting up sustainable food sources. I'm not sure if either has any surviving family after the Earth's destruction; Alix has a strained relationship with xir parents but does love them so would invite them if they were alive.

As for the wedding itself I imagine they'd want something a little less traditional than Pierhys and Mass using the (3rd) rebuilt Saints church. In fact I think they'd maybe overdo the quirkiness of it to the point it'd be annoying for everyone else but they don't really give a shit, it's their day. 😆

Calista would probably want something dramatic and gothic venue-wise whereas Alix would probably want to get married in the middle of a field or something so I feel like a great compromise would maybe be a forest? We know there are forests on Ragnarok so it makes sense. I think Kinzie would play a pretty major role given she's Callie's best friend.

A ceremony in the middle of the trees with fairy lights strung all over the canopies and vows they both wrote. Since they're non-binary and agender they wouldn't really want anything with husband/wife connotations so again nothing resembling "traditional" vows. Instead of exchanging rings they have stencils of each others' first initials printed onto their ring fingers ready to have them tattooed before the photos. They sign the marriage document(Emperor Casey has rules people!) on each others backs.

They have a marquee for the reception but it looks more like a giant black bell tent with rainbow drapes all around. I'm not sure what they'd have food wise. Maybe they could have chocolate peanut butter cupcakes as their wedding cake.

Ren's Guide To RP

Terms to Know

Muse- A character you write for in RP/Fanfiction. A character that inspires you to write.

Plot- A storyline you plan to write. In RP, this is typically done with another person.

Thread- An RP between two or more people.

OC- Original Character. A character YOU created. Or maybe an alternate version of a canon character

Ship- Slang for relationship. Typically of the romantic kind.

Fanfiction - Solo writing done usually for self-indulgent headcannons, ships, alternate endings or alternate plotlines Can be collaborative but not in the same way as RP

AU- Alternate Universe. A universe not related to canon

Headcannons- Your own ideas for a character. Things you think a character would like, think, wear, say, do that isn't in Canon.

Canon - Base material. A show, movie, book or piece of writing that AUs, headcannons and plotlines come from.

Canon-Divergent- Anything that isn't quite canon but still complies with Canon material

Verse- Similar to an AU but it can apply to a certain universe you created with someone else or just for your character.

Tips for Plotting {RP}

Communication is key! Tell your RP partner your ideas, show them your muses, make connections! Get to know their character and let them get to know yours!

Don't overwhelm your partner! When plotting, it's best to follow the simple rule of K. I. S. S {Keep it simple, Sally}. Your character has an elaborate backstory? Cool! Make sure you find a way to connect them to your partner's muse! They can't interact with yours very well if you don't leave room for them to make an appearance/ meaningfully interact with your muse.

Don't Godmod! Remember when you were a kid and other kids would still your toys and butt in to what you were doing? Annoying and rude, right? Yeah, that's just what it's like when you Godmod. Don't do it!

Questions to ask yourself before asking someone to plot/RP

What is my Muse's connection to my partner's muse? Can there be a connection made? How can they meet?

When our muses meet, what kind of relationship will they have? Remember, take into account the personality and backstory of BOTH muses. Why do they have this kind of relationship? Have they interacted before? What do they have in common?

How will they react to certain things said or done to them? Are they an asshole? Are they nice and meek? Would they kill you for merely breathing in their direction? Take this into account when you pick a character to play with. 9/10 people aren't going to change how their character acts for you. They are not your personal fanfic writers!

*And remember, if you aren't sure or you need help, ask your partner about their ideas or any advice they might have.

Communication is key!

If your partner can't work with what you're throwing at them, take a step back and ask yourself why. Ask them why. Work with them. This is something you're writing TOGETHER. They need to be able to respond. Think of it as if you were in their shoes. Could you respond to what you're about to send them? If you're having a hard time writing it, they're probably going to have issues with responding to it

Check yourself before you ask someone to RP. Also, don't be afraid to talk to the Mun OOC too. Usually, if you two vibe OOC, your characters probably will too but not always.

Since you have an OC ship with Ruki I want to know have do you feel about Rukiyui ? You know Rukiyui is very very popular in Japan and also other countries. Just like Shuyui and Subayui . These ships are really popular and Rukiyui too .

I always see you using Ruki's words that he always say to Yui, like my angel . But I really curious to know how do you feel about Rukiyui without jealous? 🤣

I hope you are not upset. I don't mean any harm in these sentences, I'm just curious to know your opinion?

Hmm... Well, first of all, I really adore Yui. She is such a sweet girl and I think she and Yuriko would make great friends if they talked to each other more.

When it comes to RukiYui I'm... hmm... indifferent, I guess? I don't have any specific feelings about the ship. It's Ruki's canon ship like every Yui ship is canon. She is the MC after all. We get to experience the story with these boys through her, so she has an important role. She is the one they fall for in the canon. I see RukiYui as similar to any other canon ship in the fandom. I simply don't mind it existing.

It's true that I use Ruki's canon words because those are... his canon words. He is the person he is no matter whom he is with. Other than canon Ruki I'm heavily inspired by @ask-ruki-mukami's Ruki and he uses many canon lines in Rukiko roleplays too. His admin is also helping me a lot with Yuriko's story, so I could say that the choice of words isn't mine alone but something we have created together. There are canon elements but also things that have become "Rukiko things".

Both Rukiko RP and Yuriko's story are a way to explore how Ruki's life could turn out if Yui chose one of the Sakamakis to be her Adam. So, it's kind of an alternative storyline where Yui is with someone else. Though, of course, I'm writing that from Yuriko's point of view.

I'm not sure if this really answers your question, dear Anon. I don't have heavy opinions about the ship. And I don't pay much attention to which ships are popular and which are not. Everyone is allowed to ship Yui or their OC with any of the boys if that makes them happy. I guess I rather read OC ships because those are new stories. Yui's story has already been told in the games.

As an alternative to Direlash I had also considered more of a The Tick type vigilante concept (art by my pal curlytstunamiart over on twitter). The Night-Thing!

I do still think about him sometimes... Maybe he can pop back up as a Nero alter ego (RP Nero's basically a G.I. Joe or a Captain Action doll at this point. He's got different outfits and accessories).

He acts very much like a vampire, think What We Do In The Shadows. He fights a couple of supervillains at museums of enlarged replicas of ordinary objects and other silver age conundrums. Night-Thing is even a founding member of the Super-Junta, along with Sir-Vo (a knight in power armor), Wo-Mutant-Tis (A half-human half-mantis mutant), Scuba Dooper (the aquatic champion), and some others that feel like they were dug out of a toybox and given hasty storylines.

Nero's parents. They're not dead, they're not wonderful or horrible. They're just boring regular people he contacts sometimes but generally doesn't deal with much. They used to just be set pieces but then I decided I wanted to buck the traditional family structure again and introduced Uncle Slick as his childhood guardian.

-> Our oc’s will be older than 20 years old. (My oc will be 24). I am perfectly fine with our oc’s having an age gap, though i’d prefer that yours would be the older one

i’ll do mxf BUT with limits. ——> the limits to my mxf is you must play the female role, and unfortunately I do not want anything “va gina ly” with the female role. In other words, this would be great for a “femdom” or a “giver not receiver” type person. lol 🌈 I really really really prefer mxm.

Hi sol! I’ve been interested in reading some batman comics recently but there’s so many and I was wondering if you had any suggestions? Cause I literally have no idea where to start😭😭 the only batman media I’ve ever seen is The Batman which I absolutely loved RP put his whole batpussy into that performance but that’s a convo for another day

first rule of comics the comics are not real you simply pick and choose which storylines and characteristics you like and that becomes canon to you this is allowed bc in the 100+ years that characters like batman have existed there have been hundreds of different writers and several reboots making it impossible to find any true consistencies among them

if you want to learn about the most generally accepted fanon of the characters i recommend downloading the webtoon app and reading batman: wayne family adventures. it’ll introduce you to the characters, their dynamics, and some backstory for characters like jason todd and dick grayson

after that i would go on to the batman animated movies. i believe most of them are on hbo max but you can use soap2day as well. batman: under the red hood will give you jason’s backstory and his return in detail. son of batman and batman vs robin will introduce you to damian wayne. batman bad blood will finish that storyline. i haven’t watched batman the long halloween parts 1&2 but it’s an iconic batman storyline in the comics so i’ll also recommend it. i also haven’t watched batman and superman: battle of the super sons but i’m planning to ! it’ll be damian centric. dick grayson is also a secondary character in most of these movies. i don’t think tim drake shows up at all. 💔. other honorable mentions: justice league vs teen titans (damian wayne, bruce, dick grayson) and it’s sequel teen titans: judas contract. really fun watches, most of the characterization is consistent from the batfam centric movies. it’ll give u an idea of what they’re like with other dc characters

if you want to commit to the bit: young justice season 1 will show you a lot of what dick grayson is like during his robin days and season 2 introduces tim drake and barbara gordon (batgirl) as well as dick as nightwing. the only thing with young justice is that it’s almost like an alternate timeline and fanon doesn’t really acknowledge it, a lot of the characters don’t exist or are super different in the main comic timeline, but it’s the closest to what the teen titans dynamic is like on screen AND it’s the only more recent animated batfam media that has tim drake ☹️

i also want to mention justice league: doom and justice league: dark, i think they’re great movies that showcase bruce’s abilities as batman, as a leader, and how he’s viewed by outsiders BUT they’ll be hard to digest bc there’s sooo many dc characters it could be confusing for someone new. justice league dark: apokolips war is a sequel to the first jld movie and it includes dick and damian + follows the dynamics established in the other teen titans movies i mentioned though it’s not a direct sequel to them

Ah, here...since you did say you like world building in your main post, I HAVE to ask. What's your favorite world that you've built? What were some of the characters in it? What were things like? Fantasy? Sci-Fi? Etc? If you can't pick a favorite tell me the one that you threw the most effort into. (Bonus Question: If I remember correctly, I saw you made a post a while ago of making a normal guy and then completely ruining him? Are you still working on that because it sounded tight!) That is.. an AMAZING question, I don’t even know how to really answer without something that’s 204840495 miles long complete with annotations and my whole life story, but I’ll do my best! :)

My favorite world I’ve made, hmmm… I suppose I can split that into categories. One being the one I spent the most time on, one I indulge most in, one that brings me the most comfort and one that I simply enjoy the most.

Btw in each section I’ll state the name of the universe/whatever I call the world/storyline, so feel free to ask questions abt them ,,,

‘Spent most time on?’

I usually spend a couple months each on every world I make, but the longest running one I still indulge in today is probably The Misfits Universe, which I spent a total of 8 years working on, and recently ended a 5 year long roleplay in.

It’s a very special universe to me I don’t tell many people about actually, it started completely by accident where I met some friendly people on a roblox game called Misfits High and we started roleplaying normally. What started as us just doing random rp’s with characters we made up on the spot every week or so grew into a daily thing for years, expanding characters and the lore and it just became so beautiful.

It’s very very loose in plot as there are like a million different characters, what we sort of did instead of making a solid storyline we had a bunch of characters and simply roleplayed their storylines within the universe. It’s what I do with a lot of worlds actually, I find it a lot more freeing! But yeah, it’s set in an alternate reality where humans and monsters are separated from one another under the rule of a clan of gods. The characters are centered around a haunted old town that used to be human only until it was infected with a special virus and yadayadayada, it’s too much to explain LOL

It’s gotten to the point where I can tell you the creation of the universe and it’s dimensions as a whole but it has a LOOOOT of plot holes due to us making it when were so young. I’m so sad to see it go but I think it’s time I finally lay it to rest, it’s no longer interesting and has so many terrible memories attached to the past. I intend to keep using some of the characters I got from it :)

‘Most indulgent?’

That one is pretty hard to answer as lately I’ve been much more indulgent in my worlds rather than focusing on strict rules. Sort of just letting myself fuck around and do whatever I want. But my most indulgent probably has to be Kongoiro Universe, it’s essentially a universe where everything is sort of utopia like.

It’s where I sorta just dump everything I daydream about that doesn’t take place in another specific universe. It’s a place I can escape to, and pretend I live in a world where struggles are temporary. But otherwise it’s kinda boring..

‘Most comfort?’

Oooof this is a hard one. I rarely make non-comforting/angsty universes anymore for personal reasons (though soon I really wanna get back at it,) but the most comforting one I have is probablyyyy…. Magic In Threes.

Magic in Threes is a series-type thing I have in my head inspired by Chonny Jash’s songs! (hes absolutely amazing, creates covers of tally hall and changes the lyrics and god it’s amazing.) it is about a character nicknamed Soul, who are followed by incarnations of his suffering. Dark, a massive demon, represents the darkness: Depression, the mind, the past, Soul’s anger, etc. Light, an angelic being, represents the light: Hope, trickery, the heart, impulsiveness, and the future. Just because Light represents hope does not mean he is good. Both attempt to guide Soul through life and the infinite labyrinth that is his mindpalace, and overcome the struggles of living with trauma.

And I’m kinda projecting—

‘Enjoy the most?’

I don’t really know if I have one I enjoy the most, each one has their own things that make me like them and dislike them. Though one that is up there is definitely Lucraca, my take of a cyberpunk post-apocalyptic dystopia where humans have been long dead and the world is now controlled by robots (mostly object-heads.)

I have so much fun coming up with different concepts for it, it’s a wee bit cliche but its my world and I decide the dystopia Goddammit!!!! there are also a lot of AUs but they’re extremely fucked up and I won’t be getting into them rn LOL

But uH yeah,,, thank you for listening to my ramble and asking such a great question, this made me super happy!! If you guys want you can ask questions abt my universes, currently I believe I have around 71 documented and like a million more brewing up in my head. also yes I did hit the Funny Number.

hi there ! first off, welcome to tumblr rp ― a place that might seem quite intimidating at first but actually isn’t once you realize we’re all just anxious beans who’re here to express our love for writing and certain character. anyway, as for your question, verses is basically the short term for ‘universes’. people tend to give their character(s) various verses to make the whole setting thing a lot easier. mainly it can be differentiated into main / canon verses, alternate verses and crossover verses ( although there are probably more and you don’t need to do all or any of these, but i personally think these three distinctions make the most sense and are easiest to explain ).

let’s say you write superman. you could have multiple main / canon verses that would be set in smallville or focus on his time with the legion of superheroes or once he starts working at the daily planet or is part of the justice league. then you could also have like alternate verses that may or may not take place within his canon but have him be different ― so for example a human!au or a redkryptonie!au or whatever. they still keep the core of his character / canon but provide new, interesting input. and lastly there are the crossover verses where you could go all in. have superman attend hogwarts, be a survivor of the hunger games, become a pokémon trainer or suddenly find himself being thrown into the regency era. you can get as creative with it as you want.

again, you don’t need to do all of these and there are a lot of people who only have like their main verse but it’s great for when you wanna go more in depth and wanna make some weird crossovers that can lead to some fun plots and storylines you might not have thought of otherwise.

Hello! I am Layla and my main blog is @arabianflowers! This is a roleplay blog for the character Samantha "Sam" LaRusso from the Cobra Kai franchise! Sam is my favorite Cobra Kai character and I feel like I can capture her character really well, so I decided to create a roleplay blog for her!

3. I mainly play the canon compliant version of Samantha portrayed by Mary Mouser, but I do not mind canon divergent scenarios. For example, her being in a relationship with someone's fan-made character in a specific alternate storyline. Just discuss it with me first and I'll see if I want to do it.

Mh playing dnd

Cleo: sorceress or summoner, uses minions to do the physical fighting but has powerful magic. Maybe dual classes as a bard? Gives inspiration via threats & backhanded compliments. She's doing better irl & needs an outlet for her mean girl tendencies. If she crosses a line tho, she takes it seriously

Clawdeen: artificer? She'd want enough combat skill to defend herself & her friends if neccessary, but I think she'd be more interested in creating things than fighting. Has a mysterious tragic backstory but refuses to talk about it. Lots of "*offhand comment about a traumatic experience* haha but yeah I got over it". The party is dying to know her secrets & she revels in their suffering

Draculaura: not sure what class but she plays a human just for the novelty of it (& maybe to relive her own time as a human ssshhhh). Her hand was still on the piece so it doesn't count. Most likely to derail a plot in favor of some smaller detail she finds interesting &/or flirting w/ an npc

Deuce: not a wizard, but def something magic that isn't necessarily combat focused. Druid maybe?

Clawd: Paladin. He's noble, a defender, he sticks to his morals but is willing to listen to others & change

Heath: rogue. He's trying hard to be badass but the dice don't seem to like him. Thinks he's The Protagonist. Causes problems by accident & it's only funny sometimes. Learning how to work w/ the group to build the story, slowly.

Jackson/holt: warlock. They don't know who their patron is but part of the contract is them changing into each other. Alternatively, they each have their own separate character, completely unrelated to one another, & which 1 is in the party changes depending on which of them is currently playing. The crew have to constantly make up explanations for why "jackson"/"holt" is suddenly gone & the other present. They get creative

Ghoulia: not a wizard. She's the ACTUAL rogue. Heath gets in her way a lot trying to be the Main Character & it's sometimes frustrating but they talk it out & heath is trying to do better. Ghoulia gives him tips on character/story building & session etiquette.

Abbey: something delicate but strong. Or maybe a gnome or dwarf. Very practical. She & cleo are a lil too competitive. Loopholes her way out of traps/curses by interpreting them so literally OR so abstractly that they become ineffective, sometimes even beneficial to her/the party. This is not on purpose...probably

Lagoona: a healer but aggro. Calls out cleo & abbey's competitiveness but gets stubborn when something directly affects her in a way she doesn't like. Her character & deuce's druid are besties. Uses extremely creative insults. Big "old lady sophie from howl's moving castle" vibes, but make it feral

Frankie: dm? I feel like she'd have a lot of fun creating adventures for everyone & getting to be the 1 to know the most, instead of being out of the loop. Ghoulia helps her plan storylines & learn the game mechanics

Gil: wizard. Cliche old school rp style, spells are very mysterious & epic. Lots of ye old english & riddles. Starts out doing it sincerely, then it becomes a running joke & he rolls w/ it. He & lagoona brainstorm insults, riddles & incantations together. Their characters translate each other for the rest of the party when neccesary

Season Five Patch Notes

// Hey, everyone! Hope you all are doing well! I know that it hasn't been long since I finished the storyline, but I've been spending the past month preparing the new chapter in the crew's RP journey! As such, this Season is probably going to be more focused on stability, consistency and accessibility. This way, people can better keep track of what's going on and it's easier to jump in and out whenever you want and from whatever angle you want to.

// Anyway, here are the changes that I want to highlight.

Muses

As a reminder:

Major muses: The main muses in the blog. They're the main drivers that are moving the story forward, and the faces of the blog. They'll also be used by default.

Minor muses: These are secondary characters on the blog. While they're not the main drivers, they'll still be used on the blog for commentary or story-related situations. They are available to RP, but only on request or if the plot demands it.

The following muses will no longer be major muses: Zygarde, Lillie, Kathy. These characters are now minor muses.

New major muses: Melony (RK Giratina), Nergal (RK Eternatus), Serena, Lati (Heidi's and Rayquaza's child)

Returning major muse: Hilda!

Leaf, Zinnia, Rayquaza, Heidi, and Lauren are unaffected.
