Another one, What bitty do you think would handle living in a large house or mansion with several different rooms, one room for each different activity and person .Or just a large house where they have large amount of space.

This could be with every bitty type category or just a few that you can handle this type of situation.

Twisters: A large home excites a Twister’s need to patrol and patrolling makes them feel useful. They like to protect their home.

Coin: More space means more space he can claim for himself! A whole room would be a Coin’s dream if he could get away with it!

Slash: Slashes would use all the space to practice his arial acrobatics, and maybe find him hanging upside down from tapestries or curtains!

Dreads: Dreads think that a castle is their due so a large house is right up their alley! He would recommend a room could be a library and if the house already has one, good luck getting him to come out!

Saavy: Saavys would appreciate the extra room so he can keep his experiments out of the way and unable to be disturbed!

Ampithere Au

In the middle of the Amazon rain forest, twin gods known as the "Apple Twins" live on Twin peaks in caves nestled near the apex of their mountain. The two peaks are connected by vines and over grown vegetation. Each of them care for an entourage of harpys which they protect from human interests. It's said that long ago there were no Apple Twins at all, only the Apple Tree and there weren't two mountains, only one. But that's a story for another time...

First of all: What is an ampithere? - An ampithere is a winged serpent, sometimes with dragon-like features such as horns or sails.

Creator's Notes:

Unfortunately all my ampithere art ended in something I'm not satisfied with: I'll keep trying and may commission art later as my personal budget allows.

Dust and Classics birds are VERY dear to me as a West Coast Canadian, I grew up with these birds and they're sassy corvids! Pure Indulgence.

Stellars Jay is actually named after a scientist! A Whiskey Jack's other alias is the Canada Jay!

@withtheworms Inspired me on Twitter to chose Blue's bird to be the hummingbird instead of the obvious Blue Jay.

Cross is supposed to be swooping like he was in Australia chasing down a cyclist. I come from the city where the crow that steals a knife from a crime scene meme comes from. Another fun tidbit.

Crush: Crushes like to sleep most of the day anyways so they’ll just nap until you come home then they are ready for interaction and fun!

Runner up:

Strike: Strikes are good at amusing themselves, you just need to prepare yourself for when you come home… One day all your spoons are missing, another day your dining room table is filled lost/stolen keys. Never a dull moment with these birds!

Lamia

Coin: Coins do well by themselves as long as they have a private space to call home. They’ll pretend that they don’t care that you’ve come home but will hang out around you nevertheless!

Runner up

Nebulas: Like Crashes, Nebulas don’t mind sleeping the day away, or they are small enough to nap in your purse/backpack while you go about your day!

Ampithere

Gaffe: Gaffes are very independent bittys, they like to stay home and work on projects in their tangled nests. He’s another one of those bittys who won’t celebrate you coming home but will complain for attention anyways!

Runner up

Dreads: With a good book, Dreads are ready for a quiet day of reading. When you come home he’s interested in how your day went and will help you purge any negative feelings you may have built up.

Bitty Questions

Out of each bitty type category  which bitty do you think could handle a very affectionate and lovey Dovey caretaker, just wanting to cuddle their bitty almost all the time, but still knowing how to respect boundaries.

Harpys

Harpys thrive on attention and having an overly affectionate adopter is almost a must! The more theatrical the better! They love to give “kisses” and bring you “gifts” to prove their adoration.

Lamias

All my Lamias would appreciate an affectionate adopter. Even the grumpy Coins eventually will come to appreciate the affection of their adopter, but good luck getting him to admit it!

Ampithere

The ampitheres that really enjoy affection are the Stamps, Marvels and Suaves. Gaffes don’t like a lot of touching and Saavys find too much affection to be overwhelming. Dreads can tolerate affection but it’s hard to get much back from them.

((Hmmm… I think I want to answer this question with someone who travels a lot and wants a bitty to come with, or a bitty to take care of the house while they’re gone. Hope that sounds fun!))

Travel Bittys

Harpys: It pains me to say… My Harpys wouldn’t make good travel buddies. They’re LOUD and MESSY, they’d be okay in a private car, but a real nuisance on public transit.

Lamias: Any of the mini-sized lamias could make excellent travel buddies! Nebulas are my go to because they’re so relaxed, but if you want enthusiasm and laughs a Rattler may be more your speed!

Ampithere: Their size makes them on the edge of being good travellers. Stamps are the most enthusiastic, he’s all about cool adventures and seeing new vistas! Dreads make good travel buddy, just pack him a book that he can read or you can read together! Suaves are also a good choice, they are very curious about the world and would want to explore it with you!

Homebody Bittys

Harpys: Sorry again, Harpys need a certain amount of constant attention and being left behind a lot will hurt their self esteem and lead to depression.

Lamias: Some Lamias can take being apart from their adopters on and off. Puffs and Constellations like to take care of the house while you’d be gone. Coins don’t mind the solitude and quiet. Twisters would miss you, but your house would be safe!

Ampithere: Gaffes are the most likely to prefer to stay home. He’ll get grouchy (grouchier) if you aren’t around for long periods of time. Saavys like to have structure in their days so they feel more comfortable around the house than hitting the open trail and their research keeps him occupied.

What bitties do Dreads get along with? And how would they react to a bitty that desperately "aggressively" wants to be their friend.

It’s a long drag with Dreads…

At first, they believe that they don’t need friends at all! But they tolerate minions and those willing to be their minions.

After your stint at minion-hood a Dread may accidentally come to care for you, but doesn’t believe anyone would want to be his friend… Negativity and all. There must be something wrong with you!

After realizing there isn’t anything wrong with you (and therefore nothing wrong with himself) he becomes a clumsy friend but still fiercely independent.

Now, for an “aggressively” friendly bitty, he’ll still have to wait in the minion category but they graduate to the “something is wrong with you!” stage much quicker. But ironically a Dread will be so convinced that it takes even longer to accept their friendship! Time evening out at the end.

Goes to show there are no shortcuts when it comes to Dreads!

How would Dread, Espresso, Coin, Twister, and Merlot bitties (big or little if it makes a difference) react to this situation?:

Owner overworks themself and is still working. They work from home making crochet and knit stuff for their shop to sell. (It takes a long time to make.. I speak from personal experience.) They've been working for nearly 10 hours on a piece and still going. Hasn't gotten up for anything unless he needed something. Now it's 2 am and they're still going. How does these boiz react?

Dread: Will mention how long it’s been since you took a break and if you ignore him he will be VERY cross with you.

Merlot: Will suggest you take a break even for a few minutes. He’s not above hiding your needles and hooks until he has decided your break was long enough.

Coin: Will stare at you from across the room and will keep doing it until he forces you to talk to him and only then will he tell you that you need a break.

Espresso: Will come over and look at you with his soulful eyes. He’ll slip you a note on your work to please take a break because he’s worried.

Twister: Will come over and lean on you a little at a time until you can’t work anymore and will only stop until you promise to take a break.

Coin: Coins won’t feel abandoned if you’re not constantly giving them attention. They wouldn’t mind watching anime with you or to practice their slight-of-hand while you read.

Dread: Like Coins, Dreads don’t need a lot of attention. They love reading and will enjoy discussing your books with you! It’s like having a two person book club!

Nebula: As long as you let your Nebula nap nearby he’ll be happy. Even better if you let him hang out on your shoulders while you watch anime or let him read over your shoulder!

Glossy: Glossys thrive on attention and since you have free time to give them as much as they need I think it would be a good match! They’re as clean as birds can be (lol) and loves shiny toys and music to dance to.

Runner up:

Lilac: The Sans to the Papyrus he’s just as demanding for attention but laziness means he takes more naps in between. He’s a messy bird so you’ll have to clean out his nests often!

Lamia:

Twister: Twisters are my big boys and, like the Anacondas they are, they specialize in full body hugs! They’re laid back but do require some special treatment: access to water, even a bathtub, is important.

Runner up:

Constellation: Stellars are quite snuggly but you’ll have to tucker them out before hand! Luckily they’re self starters and will find things to do even if you aren’t involved!

Ampithere:

Marvels: Marvels are little rays of sunshine and will brighten any home. Their swap-side is strong and they can’t help but be optimistic! They enjoy cuddles and other forms of physical affection.

Stamps: Despite them being hyper focused on Art, Stamps are surprisingly affectionate! They enjoy cuddles and to be praised, especially on their art!

In most of the Undertale media I consume Nightmare is blind in that eye.

I've been looking for a lamia bitty. Might I get a matchup? I've already got 2 other bitties, a lil bro and a little kitten bitty. The kitten bitty is a bb.☺️

I live in a 2 bedroom apartment but have built spaces for my bitties to have to themselves in the other room. Sweet setup. I work as a zookeeper and vet and do have an office n the zoo I have spaces for my bitties in if they want to come. I crochet, knit, sew, cook, do woodwork, and generally am an artist. My mountain of yarn goes up to the ceiling. My home always smells like essential oils. Peppermint and tea tree are the most common. It's a pretty calm quiet place and lifestyle. I enjoy snuggles and cuddles. I do make sure to get outside calm time by taking 2 walks daily. I read a lot and have an impressive collection of books. And jewelery. Spa days r a must. I do have a Wii and a small TV. I personally don't use it much but any bitty of mine would b welcome to use it any time.

For you I recommend:

Merlot: These Lamias love the finer things in life, spa days everyday! They also enjoy knitting doilies and holders for things like the remote controllers. So they can help you tackle your mountain of yarn! They’ll be impressed by your use of essential oils and would enjoy your library.

Stamp: For most artists I recommend a Stamp, they’re like little muses and cheerleaders! They’ll be very impressed by your many mediums and projects! They enjoy cuddling and will be curious about your essential oils. They’d love to accompany you to work and see all the animals, be prepared for many tiny drawings of your charges!

Dreads: The way to a Dread’s heart is through their love of books and it sounds like you are ahead of the game! He’d also be interested in your work and the medicine you practice. He won’t be cuddly at first, but you’ll get through to him quickly! He’d also be interested in your art, he’ll be impressed by your skill and variety, a truly capable minion for him!

A bitty matchup sounds fun! I would like to see if a bitty would actually manage to live in my conditions.

The bitty would need to deal with me waking up in the morning at 5am to get things like cooking, doing work, and just basically getting ready for the day.

I like to have company so it'd be fun if they could climb or something around me while I do stuff and I ask stuff like 'Do you think people would like this?' Or 'What do you think I should do today?'. Because I'm not the greatest at making choices so I ask people to do it for me.

Need them to remind me about everything like events or a item I forgot about, it happens often. I'm most likely to need someone who can keep up with me and remind me of my limits because I sometimes over do myself and just die on the floor sad.

I'm scared of all insects, arguments, and being alone. I need a little friend for comfort, even if they can't give any, I'm okay with them just being with me.

Either I'm loud or calm and collected, it depends on the person. If they seem timid, introverted, shy, and/or delicate I will be relaxed and leveled down. If they seem Extroverted, hyper, confident, and/or funny then it's the opposite. If they are both then I'm giving them a custom made personality of mine as I get to know them. I don't have a real personality, I have to make one up.

Puffs: Puffs are early risers and love cooking, especially baking! They can also be opinionated little noodles so don’t worry about trying to get them to sound off! They love to be useful so being your reminder buddy would make them feel proud! They like to keep busy but can slow down for cuddles.

Marvels: Marvels are another early rising bitty and are cuddle bugs to boot! They’d be very interested in learning your routine and help on any way you’ll allow! They have good memories and will be happy to help you remember anything you’ve forgotten.

Nebula: Nebulas are based on the Green Tree Python, who live in the canopy of trees, and are, therefore, excellent climbers. They also love curling around their adopters’ neck like a “boa”. It’ll take them awhile to get used to your schedule but once they do they’ll happily join you in the kitchen. They’re cheeky, so make sure they aren’t just saying “uh-huh” to everything you say!

I have a question; Are Dreads capable of handling a household that already has several Nightmare-types present within? I am highly concidering on adopting one but wanted to make sure they would be fine with such a place given time or if its best to not attempt so for the sake of their mental health?

I’m having a hard time answering this one, personally, I can think of a lot of reasons why it would be a bad idea rather than a good one…

Their self-loathing paired with their need to be superior to others, would he be able to accept another version of himself as an equal? Or just competition?

So I’m going to cop-out.

Merlot: Merlots love cats because they remind them of their brothers, independent and selective of who they like. Earning the trust of your Grillby bitty will be a real feather in his cap!

Dread: Dreads like cats because they remind them of themselves, self sufficient and imposing. It’d be interesting to see how they react to each other’s assumptions.
