A Dread is a good choice because your Rattler will become his gatekeeper, protector and architect! He’ll want to build splendid traps to keep everyone safe and protected.

More of Dragon!Takaya, except I slightly changed his anatomy a bit to resemble a winged wyrm rather than a typical asian dragon (apparently my original idea was to have him as a wyrm but I kinda forgot at the time :V)

so moreso he's a mix of lung/wyrm/ampithere into one lol

I also wanted to go with a less graceful look and go to a more "miserable" approach in this design, if that makes sense. I'll get around to Jin and Chidori once more to solidify their design more (perhaps I should do an Izumi dragon too when I get the chance)

Besties, they dropped it!

Based on the name of it, it's definitely connected to the BotE story. It looks long and thin, so it could be an ampithere. No idea if it's going to be giant like Undertides, or smaller like Spirals- probably somewhere in between.

I wonder what its name will be? Or the genes?

Part one of a series of dragon illustrations I did for my worldbuilding site. Each shows a body type or "class" dragons can be, which usually denotes the number of limbs and wings they have. In order:

Quad - 4 limbs, wings

Drake - 4 limbs, no wings

Wyvern - 2 hind legs, large wings which are sometimes used as arms

Ampithere - No legs, large wings

Wyrm - No legs, no wings

Lindwyrm - 2 front arms, can have wings or not

Dragons of any body type can possess any one to three elemental abilities, which are often, but not always, inherited genetically!

Another one, What bitty do you think would handle living in a large house or mansion with several different rooms, one room for each different activity and person .Or just a large house where they have large amount of space.

This could be with every bitty type category or just a few that you can handle this type of situation.

Twisters: A large home excites a Twister’s need to patrol and patrolling makes them feel useful. They like to protect their home.

Coin: More space means more space he can claim for himself! A whole room would be a Coin’s dream if he could get away with it!

Slash: Slashes would use all the space to practice his arial acrobatics, and maybe find him hanging upside down from tapestries or curtains!

Dreads: Dreads think that a castle is their due so a large house is right up their alley! He would recommend a room could be a library and if the house already has one, good luck getting him to come out!

Saavy: Saavys would appreciate the extra room so he can keep his experiments out of the way and unable to be disturbed!

fun lil facts:

there's many languages in the fantasy world Zhe, Jeroia, Theo, etc. reside in

there's common, which is essentially fantasy English in that most people know it and it's used in many professional settings

there's also the tongue of the wood, which is spoken by woodland creatures (such as zhe's herd and what theo's race spoke) and elves

centaurs specifically tend to use chuffs, huffs, and body language to communicate amongst themselves more than they tend to use the tongue of the wood

another one is draconic! dragons speak draconic, but there's some variance with accents and such over the different types of reptilian beasts (for example, wyverns and ampitheres are like Brazillian Portugese speakers vs European Portuguese speakers bc they're more closely related than, say, a kirin and a leviathan). draconic is spoken by most reptilian and amphibious creatures. other races (like Minato's) can understand it, but their mouths aren't formed to speak it.

orcs have their own language too, which has a lot of the grunting and huffs like centaurs have; it's very harsh and blunt but they're not necessarily stupid. they just lack more of the flowery language that something like common has.

shadowwalkers (Roan's race) speak their own language too, which common is derivative of. think Latin.

so on and so forth :)
