Not ACTUALLY a bad person, despite being a N*zi.

Was more or less forced into joining the N*zi Party due to a number of factors: societal pressure, peer pressure... oh, and the need to hide the fact that his beloved Anna is Jewish.

Anna is Jewish in this AU. Sebastian joined the N*zi Party solely to protect her- after all, who would suspect the wife of a N*zi officer to be a Jew? The perfect cover up. Sebastian did not agree with the massacre of the Jews, of course, especially since his wife is one, but it was either join the N*zis or flee the country. And they couldn't flee the country because...

Anna was pregnant. Yep. And the stress of having to flee her homeland would have been VERY, VERY bad for her. Not to mention that she had several relatives who she simply COULDN'T leave behind. Between the pressure to join from all of Sebastian's friends and the pressure of the Third Reich being in total control of Germany, it was only a matter of time before either Anna had a nervous breakdown or the N*zis discovered she was a Jew.

Just in case someone happened to read his journal, Sebastian wrote down all that stuff about enjoying being a N*zi. That way, no one would suspect him of secretly despising the party and what they stood for.

The fact that Anna died anyway (her neck was ripped open by the Administrator) shook Sebastian entirely to his core. He was already regretting not fleeing the country with her when he had the chance, and this just made everything he had done seem useless.

Sebastian succumbed to the Administrator, becoming the proxy known as Swain.

Swain is known as the Lover, because he loved Anna more than anything. Lars Mueller (Henka Visae)

He is the Nationalist, because he loves Germany. Not the N*zi Party, Germany.

Lars grew up hearing about how Germany was in the old days, before all of the atrocious leaders they had. He wanted to change the country. To fix it.

He joined the Nazi Party, not because he agreed with their ideals, but because he disagreed with their ideals. He became a spy for the Allied forces, using the code name Henka Visae and reporting information back to the Allies.

He accidentally developed a friendship with Sebastian.

He was inHABITed for part of the war, while HABIT was trying to stop the N*zis from summoning Gorr'Rylaehotep and basically ending life as we know it. Lars was simply the most convenient host.

This led to Lars having a breakdown and believing he was Henka Visae. Which led to him getting shot by Sebastian and proxified by the Administrator.

Ended up joining Novus Ordo Europa to spy on their doings. Karl Maxwell

Jewish.

Frequently punches N*zis.

Sat in a tree with a sniper rifle and witnessed Sebastian's camp being destroyed by the Administrator with an expression of "What the actual fuck" on his face.

Initially hated Sebastian and Lars but then felt really bad for them after finding out neither of them actually wanted to be in the Third Reich and hated the N*zi party.

The reason Sonya and Tommy drowned was because Karl went for Sebastian's journal in order to keep it out of the hands of the Collective. Lars tried to rescue Sonya and Tommy, but failed. Karl was upset with him for a long time, but eventually forgave him after realizing he couldn't possibly hold Lars more accountable than he held himself.

Karl was the very first person to know that Milo was a trans woman. Even before she told Kevin or Noah. He supported her immediately.

He isolated Mary for two reasons: to keep the journal out of her hands, and because he believed keeping his identity as Persolus a secret from her would make the Administrator less likely to hurt her. He resents her for the horrible person she became, but also resents himself for never being there for her. He did better with Sharon, at least.

Has killed multiple members of Novus Ordo Europa (The Order). Resents Mary for joining them, and is disgusted with her for dragging Milo into this whole mess.

For a long period of time, no one knew where Sebastian's journal had gone. Karl hid it in a location that was nearly impossible to find, and used Severance to literally sever his memories of it. This is what eventually led to his senility. By sheer accident, Patrick Andersen found it. HABIT warned him not to read it and convinced him to send it to him. HABIT read the journal himself, realized "hmm, Noah's probably going to need this someday." and mailed it back to Karl so it would eventually end up in the right hands.

Karl gave the journal to Milo because he knew she was destined to be Scars, and would kill Cursor. He wanted her to set things right.

Alternate universe where after Supernatural's season seven finale, Sam picks a direction at random, starts driving, hits a dog, adopts that dog, all normal so far, right? Wrong.

The dog is actually thematically significant in my universe. It's not Sam's dog. He arguably has no moral responsibility towards Riot. At this point in the narrative, in canon, Sam abandons every previous responsibility and then takes on the entirety new responsibility of an injured dog.

Here I should mention my headcanon: when Dr. Amelia Richardson yelled at Sam that he had to take care of the dog? That was because she also worked at the only shelter in town, which was full. That was because she had already put down three dogs in a month, and her emotional support husband was missing. That was because she looked at Sam and decided that whether he actually kept the dog or not wasn't her problem. That was because she was tired of having the responsibility of life and death.

So Sam has a dog, and Amelia's words stay with him, and a few days later he picks up his phone.

“Sam Winchester, it's Kevin Tran. Crowley had me in this warehouse, and I just escaped. I don't know where I am. And I don't know if he or- or any other demons are still after me. I need your help. Call me back. It's Kevin Tran.”

Is it Sam's job to take care of Kevin? Legally, no. Morally, it's debatable.

But as far as the "you don't have to be responsible for him" argument goes, well, there's a dog in the passenger seat with a broken leg and a wagging tail to act as a very cute metaphor for Sam's savior complex.

Samelia still happens- don't leave, hear me out! They still wind up at Amelia's motel because Sam's fucking burnt out. She asks who Kevin is. Sam blurts out that Kevin's his son. Kevin rolls his eyes and goes back to the Leviathan tablet, which turns out not to have anything helpful about getting people out of Purgatory. Sitcom hijinks, people. Fake story they now have to stick with, because they don't want Amelia to call the cops.

And boom, now season eight starts out better.

Headmate Introductions: Lex

Hello! I'm Lex, the host of the Lovecat System and the main user of this blog. I use he/him pronouns, and I'm 19 (which is our body's age).

I am the one headmate who does not have a fronting tag. If there is not a fronting tag on any of our posts, you can assume it's either me, or we don't know who is fronting.

This got a bit long so, more under the cut.

Defining things you need to know about me? I'm a trans Bear, a writer, very autistic, and I LOVE X-Men comics (my special interest).

Akihiro is my favorite fictional character of all time. He's everything to me. My other favorite X-Men characters are Scott Summers, Quentin Quire, Laura Kinney, and Hope Summers. I also REALLY love Academy X, my favorites from there being Sofia Mantega, Julian Keller, Laurie Collins, Kevin Ford, and Brian Cruz. I am currently making my way through a Madelyne Pryor reading list and really getting into her as well.

I also love Moon Knight, and I want to make an effort to get to know every single Plural character in Marvel! (whether their plurality is realistic, or supernatural in nature.) But that might take me a bit, I still have a lot of comics on my to read list.

Though X-Men has taken over my life at this point, I still will occasionally reblog stuff or post about my old interests. A few of those are:

Glam rock, David Bowie, Velvet Goldmine, Phantom of the Paradise, Rocky Horror, and various Glam artists.

Placebo, IAMX, Nova Twins, and a few other bands/artists. I really love alternative stuff, and I'm getting into the more electronic and industrial side of music now.

I mentioned before that I was a writer. I'm currently working on a very personal novel that I plan to someday publish. Before I started this novel I was promoting and working on a superhero comic about disability and friendships, but I'm taking a break from that for now and trying to reimagine the whole plot. I plan to eventually hire an artist and self publish this comic online.

Thinking thoughts about how Dreamswap, in the early years in his life on the run thanks to Dream, Nightmare had to do a lot of things to stay under the radar, which brings me to these ideas and headcanons

Blethers about DS Nightmare:

Nightmare probably has had to avoid conflict and while his first instinct is to run, sometimes he can't, and with this has probably been forced to do some unsavory acts (the alternative would be killing, and Nightmare is not stupid enough to do that when his brother and his organization is hunting him down. Gotta have a little hope for the future y'know?)

This next one needs a little explaining: in the early iterations of Dreamswap (not canon anymore iirc) Nightmare ate a positive apple and I'm just running with it. basically: the magic part of the apple (this will be explained later) bumped his negative aura to actually be noticeable, but only when he's feeling a strong negative feeling for a short amount of time. Otherwise, if he's feeling neutral, his aura is neutralized, and when he's feeling a strong positive emotion, it changes to a positive aura. During the first few months of being on the run, this was how he was able to be tracked because Dream could sense his negative aura bc Nightmare was feeling pretty down most of the time. Which brings me to this: Nightmare can force his aura "off" via squishing his emotions.

It is extremely difficult if not impossible for Dream to track Nightmare when he does that, so it was a necessary skill for Nightmare's safety. But it comes with the caveat that he eventually needs to vent out those suppressed emotions.

Kevin does not have a negative aura because he does not have a negative spirit so the trans chimken is safe from Dream.

A thing Nightmare has thanks to his semi-guardian status (not being born a guardian, being human originally and all) and the apple is regeneration. it's not as strong as it would be for a normal guardian but scrapes and bruises take an hour to completely heal, and worse injuries take much less time to heal, and broken bones even are a walk in the park. Fatal injuries are still fatal tho. Mixed with the headcanon that Nightmare probably did a lot of bad stuff to himself (gestures to suppressed emotions and another hc that he used to hurt himself pre-incident and then a LOT more post-incident) he probably had a pretty battered body for a while.

Nightmare actually ended up needing to quit said bad stuff cold turkey because it was actually getting pretty bad and though he couldn't scar and theoretically survive those bad injuries and heal them within a few hours, being a blood bag in bunch of pain makes him more vulnerable bc he can't suppress pain as well as other emotions and he CAN'T get put into JR custody whatsoever because during those years he did not have anyone to rely on, not even his string of boyfriends he'd have thru the years.

talking about past boyfriends: Nightmare, being demigay of course, probably also has trust issues because he's had boyfriends that has tried to sell him out to Justice Reigns or joined their side and betrayed him. This is also the reason he's so stars damn afraid of Cross and Error doing the same even when they're just friends, which makes it even more painful because he isn't even dating them. he trusts them more than he did any other previous boyfriend and even trusts them more than he trusted Dream pre-incident. though Kevin is still the real MVP through all the years.

Cross, Error,,, never betray him otherwise Nightmare is going to suffer a lot more.

was a human and hunter as well as a member of the Men of Letters with his younger brother Sam. He and his brother are members of the Winchester and Campbell families. Through his father, Dean is the older half-brother of Adam Milligan.

Dean is also the destined vessel of the Archangel Michael. He and Sam are also the surrogate sons of the late Bobby Singer. Dean is best friends with the angel Castiel, close friend to the late prophet Kevin Tran, and reluctant ally of Crowley. Dean has an ex-girlfriend, Lisa Braeden,who he lived with for a year when he thought Sam was in Hell. She has a child named Ben, who Dean acted as a father for during that year. Dean's biological child was an amazon named Emma.He is also the former apprentice of Alastair.

Both Dean and Sam were raised in the hunting life by their father, after the demon Azazel killed their mother. Dean's main role in the series is being the self-appointed guardian of Sam and often going to extreme lengths to protect him regardless of personal cost. Often in these occurrences Dean finds himself the center of a much larger picture.

When he was killed by Metatron whilst using the Mark of Cain, Dean returned as a demon and a Knight of Hell loyal only to himself. He was then cured by his brother using purified blood. Eventually, the Mark was removed, but the price was that the Darkness has now been released into the world, something Dean tried to avoid. Dean and his brother soon met God who returned to help put an end to the danger to the world. During this time, Dean got through to God about not sacrificing himself and The Darkness about not destroying all of reality and helped them reconcile. As a reward, Dean was given back his mother and was able to return to his usual style of hunting with his family.

With his mother trapped in an alternate reality, Dean set out with Sam, Castiel and the Nephilim Jack to rescue Mary and reunite his family, a situation made more urgent by the upcoming invasion of an alternate reality Michael. Following the reunion of his family, Dean agreed to become the vessel for the alternate Michael in order to finish Lucifer once and for all. Aided by Michael, Dean faced Lucifer in battle and ultimately killed the rogue archangel and ended his long reign of terror. This victory was short-lived as Dean was to be betrayed by Michael who took full control of Dean and became loose upon the Main Universe in Dean's body, his one true vessel. Michael would use him for weeks before he left Dean's body on his own for unknown reasons.

In the days after, Dean struggled with re-adjusting to being himself again as he tried to help Sam on hunts. However, he regain his will and did better in hunting, as he and his family decided to go after Michael and defeat him. Dean also bonded with Jack after learning his declining health. During a confrontation with Michael, the Archangel retook control of Dean after revealing that he left to break his spirits and locked the hunter away in his subconscious. However, Dean manages to trap Michael within his own subconscious shortly thereafter, but is left worried for what will occur if the archangel escapes.

Following a hunt, Dean lost concentration over keeping Michael imprisoned but the latter instead escaped Dean's mind and took Rowena for an alternative vessel while inflicting revenge on Dean. However, Michael was then killed by Jack, saving the world from his influence and freeing Dean of his grasp.

Almost five years after defeating God himself, Dean is killed for a final time during the Masked Vampires hunt. Dean accepts his fate and his soul goes to Heaven where he is reunited with Bobby Singer and later Sam who lived out a full life with a son that he names in honor of Dean.

At an unknown point before his death, Dean digs into a previously unknown chapter of his parents' lives. It's later revealed that Dean himself is somehow responsible for his parents meeting and going after the Akrida.
