I don't know how it happened, but I'm somehow back in my Voltron phase, so have a stupid conspiracy theory that I enjoy thinking about.
Okay, so we all know how Keith is half Galra and looks nothing like it? Well, he's a spitting image of his mother, minus the actual Galra traits. And yes, I know genetics are Hell's lottery, but bare with me here!
Keith looks entirely human; from his skin tone to his size. The most we really get is that split second of his eyes going yellow. Yes, he's only half Galra, but all of the other half Galra characters are noticeably, well, Galra! From the looks of it, Galra genes seem to be pretty dominant, so by all means, Keith should have some physical traits, right? But he doesn't!
The thing is, Keith grew up on Earth, where looking like that could have been dangerous. He'd need to look human in order to survive, which brings me to the crack-headcannon itself:
What if Krolia was part Altean and passed that down to Keith as well?
Alteans are capable of changing their skin color and height in order to blend in, "Sacred Alteans" having even more control over their appearance. (I checked the wiki to clarify this.)
Krolia was a spy for the BoM, meaning she had to be good at acting and being the alien equivalent of a chameleon would definitely help with that.
Also, I just think it'd be really neat to see Allura so conflicted over this, because on one hand, Keith's part Galra, the race that destroyed her planet and took away everything she'd ever known and loved. On the other, he's also part Altean, potentially one of the only remaining Alteans, if only fractionally so, aside from herself and Coran (I'm setting this before Lotor shows up.)
I just think it'd be really cool to have some Allura-centric angst where she debates Keith's loyalty and whether blood defines a person.
I spend so much time thinking up random AUs and trying to rationalize them, so please be nice.

Not an exact redraw of this ancient piece, but it is based on it with partially the same dialogue. I had originally tried it as an exact redraw, but. I decided re-envisioning it would be better. And I'm proud. I love Pidge looking more shocked than weirded out. And Bandor. Look how happy he is. And. Uh. Ulaz? Please put that knife away, we shouldn't be scaring the child. I know you think no one is worthy to court Pidge, but still. Play nice. Also, Krolia's just shocked and caught by surprise. She's been hoping Keith would court Pidge, but here Bandor is just automatically putting on the moves.
Anyway! I hope y'all enjoy this one! Until next time!

Galran Keith hcs
I like to think that as Galran's genetics get diluted, the animal they correspond with just gets smaller. Like, since Keith is only half-galra, he has behaviors similar to a bobcat while Krolia and Kolivan have big cat traits.
Like, bobcats are awesome at climbing so Keith is always on top of things he shouldn't be on top of. Also, they don't roar, they scream/yowl, and hiss. AND, unlike big cats, bobcats can purr! Keith has definitely been on a mission with the blades where he gets frustrated and just...yowls. And it makes so much sense for him to hiss when Lance starts getting on his nerves.
His galran traits freak out the paladins/alteans a bit (save for Shiro, he's seen worse) but the blades think they're adorable. Bc, imagine you're Kolivan (completely galran/big cat traits) and there's this scrawny new kid who hisses when he gets pissed.
That's it for now, I love galran Keith. <333

Lotor and Keith: The Duo We Deserved
Disclaimer: it's been around 8 months since I've last watched voltron. details may be inaccurate
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Sometimes I think we were robbed of what could've been an amazing friendship.
Keith's discovery of his Galran lineage and Lotor's of his Altean heritage, and their indirect parallel of upbringing, I hoped these two would form an amazing bond as they're the only people that could relate to each other in terms of ostracization due to their race. But that hope eventually dwindled down when I realized that the showrunners were definitely not planning that, and in fact, even makes Lotor a bad guy again.
At the very least, I had hoped for a heart-to-heart conversation about them being mixed race and flesh out that aspect of them more. Yet again, I was let down.
During Keith's entire life, he has been ostracized by his peers and constantly bullied for being different. It has been the fundamental characteristic of him— his preordained Galran traits— embedded into every crevice of his disposition and being unable to do anything about it. When he finds out about his Galran heritage, we finally conclude the reason, in profound realization, why he's never fit in much back in Earth. Ultimately, this would give clarity and closure to Keith about why he's the way he is, but what the showrunners overlooked is the inevitable, imminent consequence of an identity crisis.
He's too galra to be human (antisocial, rebellious, fierce and stubborn), but too human to be galra. (compassionate, warm, weaker and smaller in stature, humanly physical features)
This is his reality everyday.
I distinctly remember Sendak belittling Krolia because of her half-breed son, Keith. It went something along the lines of: "Is the Blade of Marmora so low on soldiers that they recruit a half-breed and his mommy in?" Which, most likely, amplified his identity crisis. Poor guy.
I feel as though the same case could be applied to Lotor.
Raised by only Galrans and raised to be one, his father, Zarkon, would also say that something was quite fundamentally different about him. Compared to a stereotypical, standard Galra, he seemed to be quite more compassionate and carefree as a child, showing great intellect and promise in other aspects yet lacking in the personality traits as a Galra and embracing more of his Altean characteristics.
Growing up, Lotor always believed in goodwill, altruism, and attempted to prove to Zarkon that he could successfully subjugate planets by sheer goodwill without repercussions. However, his father's constant abuse for millennia, and cruelly destroying said planet, would of course, send him to spirals and awaken his long repressed Galran characteristics: Tyrannous, vindictive, cruel and spiteful.
Both Keith and Lotor had been abandoned by their biological parents, one in a literal way, and the other, emotionally. Both of them had something just fundamentally, unutterably different about them that they couldn't quite explain, thus thwarting the standards of "what they should be".
If Keith and Lotor had formed a genuine, wholesome familial friendship to replace their absent/abusive parents, they could've established an actual safe space where they felt belonged and heard. The rest of the team may also provide an emotional connection towards them, however, nobody knows their pain more than each other. After all, they both went through similar experiences. Mixed race solidarity!
Also. I think it could've been a great way to represent mixed race people (I'm sorry. Is that how you call them? Is this offensive?). I'm not one myself, so I'm not sure, but this would've been so great to promote inclusivity and accurately represent their struggles in the actual world. This also could've been an amazing plot point for Lotor's character development and fleshing out his character more onto a much more profound and raw level. Instead, they threw it all down the drain by betraying VOLTRON then dying. Disappointed.
Also, I'll be diving deeper into Keith's identity crisis more in one of my next posts, and Lotor's tragic fate.
Get me out of this VOLTRON hellhole. The hyperfixation is too much.

masterlist
It's been two years since the war that changed your life. Allura had given her life for the sake of the universe, and the lions have returned into hiding, lying in wait for the next generation of paladins to find them. Everyone on the team had gone their separate ways. Shiro was now married, retired and enjoying his newly acquired domestic life. Hunk had opened his own culinary establishment, bringing new and exciting food combinations to life. Lance, now an Altean, had chosen to stay, spreading the story of Allura's legacy and living as a humble farmer. Pidge had reunited with her family at last, now working as an engineer, building robots with her brother Matt. As for you and Keith, who was now your fiancé, you frequently visited planet Daibizaal. Having united the Galra empire, leading them to enter an era of peace and re-building the once destroyed planet with the support of Krolia and Ulaz. Most of the time though, you and Keith spent your days at his desert home. Enjoying every bit of each other's company, the quiet mornings when you and Keith slept in, huddled up in each other's arms, to the cool nights when you would climb up to the roof, holding each other close and gazing into the endless stretch of constellations and stars.
The calm and quiet of your life had been a stark contrast to the chaotic, never ending stress of being in space. Here it was just you and Keith, no constant danger lurking over your heads, and no back and fourth between galaxies. Sometimes you missed the thrill of being Keith's co-pilot, zooming through the galaxy together, fighting fighter jets and visiting new planets, experiencing the cultures and civilizations so unlike your own. You could tell Keith missed it too. It was obvious, his unbridled excitement every time you went on another diplomatic expedition to Daibizaal, his eyes lighting up like a child in a candy store every time you stepped into the cockpit of a space vessel, the controls almost like an extension of himself.
Piloting came natural to him, it always has, so you couldn't fault him for craving the high speeds you would reach flying in the red lion, soaring through galaxies without limitations. Sometimes, when you would sit up on the roof, he would gaze longingly into the stars, getting into his head, reminiscing about his time as a paladin. There were times where you felt self-conscious, feeling as though the simple, little life you had begun to build here with him wasn't enough to satisfy him. You'd spend many nights awake beside Keith's sleeping form, wondering if one day he would grow tired of the quiet mornings and cool nights. Wondering if he would grow tired of you.
Tonight was one of those nights. Keith laid sleeping besides you, snoring loudly with his arm awkwardly outstretched and lain across your shoulders. You laid rigid, staring at the starry sky through the window in your shared bedroom. The thoughts coursing through your mind paired with Keith's snores were starting to become suffocating. Slowly, as to not wake him, you eased Keith's arm from it's place on your shoulders, your feet swinging off the edge of the bed and onto the old, creaky wooden floors. You crept out of the room and into the living room, opening the front door and shutting it with care, trying to avoid making as much noise as possible. You crept up the latter laid beside the side of the house, hauling yourself up onto the roof with ease as you were now used to this ritual. You sat down in your usual spot, bringing your knees up to your chest, wrapping your arms around yourself. The stars seemed to be taunting you, twinkling brightly against the stretch of deep purple, as if mocking your misery, shining proudly in contrast to your dull, troubled mind. You sighed, rubbing your eyes as they began to tear. "I can't keep you here forever..." you muttered to yourself, sniffling as you stared up at the sky. "I just wish our life here was enough." you closed your eyes as the chilly wind blew against your bare shoulders, curling deeper into yourself as you let the tears fall. You quietly wept, your mind circulating the same thoughts over and over.
The cold air was starting to bite at you, the flimsy fabric of your pajama top and sleep shorts doing little to shield you from the cruel wind. Deciding its best for you to just go back inside before your fiancé woke up and came looking for you, you wiped your nose and eyes, slowly heading down the latter and into the house. You tried to keep your footsteps light as you walked back into the room, carefully slipping back into the bed, shivering as your spot had grown cold in your absence. Just when you began to settle down into sleep, you felt the bed shift, Keith's warm body pressing up against you. You felt his hand reach around your waist, grasping your hand in his. "where were you, baby?" he muttered, resting his head on your shoulder. His sleep laden voice stirring up butterflies in your stomach. "I was on the roof" you muttered quietly, looking into empty dark space, trying to will your thoughts away from resurfacing. "I figured" he sighed, kissing the side of your head before turning you towards him, his eyes had a faint yellow glow in the darkness of the night, and you averted his gaze, knowing he could see you clear as day. "You've been crying.." he observed. His voice was gentle and inviting, and you squeezed your eyes shut, forcing the tears welling up in your eyes to subside. But Keith had already caught you.
"It's nothing" you muttered, trying to blink away your blurring vision. "If it was nothing you would talk to me about it." he quipped, sitting up to properly give you his attention. "Just go back to sleep, Keith. I told you it's nothing." you sighed, turning back to your side, your back to him. "Look y/n, I already know something's wrong, so just tell me already... you know I'm here for you. just tell me what's bothering you!" you could tell he was getting frustrated, and it wasn't making you feel any better. Emotion swelled in your chest, choking you as you let out a shuddering sigh, tears blurring your vision as they began to fall. Keith's eyes softened again, scooting closer to you and rubbing his hand reassuringly on your side. "I'm sorry for getting frustrated" he muttered, gazing down at you, the warmth in his voice comforting. He turned you to face him once more, the moonlight from the window illuminating his features. "I hate to see you so upset, please just tell me how I can fix it." "Y-you can't" you whispered, looking up at him with teary eyes, causing Keith's heart to shatter. "What do you mean, hun?" he was so sincere, your chest tightening at the endearment. "I-I'm not enough for you, Keith. I know you miss being in space, and I can't give you the life that you want. Not here.." you whispered. "Y/n, what are you talking about? where did you get this from?" "Keith, be honest with me. I see how you look at the sky, and I know how much you loved piloting the red lion. I can't hold you back from what you truly want." you hiccuped.
Keith stayed quiet for a moment, disbelief evident in his eyes. But you couldn't look at him, your eyes desperately avoiding his. "Y/n.. you are what I truly want. Yeah, I miss piloting but I love the life we have here." his fingers held your chin forcing you to meet his gaze. "When I asked you to marry me I chose the life I wanted. I chose you. I wouldn't trade you and the life we have for anything. You know that." he wiped your tears away, pressing a kiss to your nose. "Besides, I still get to pilot, we go to Daibizaal twice a month. that's more than enough, and it's even better because you're with me, as my co-pilot and as my fiancé." He looked directly into your eyes, the purple you loved oh so much reflecting beautifully in the moonlight. " I love you, and nothing can keep me from you. Please tell me you understand that, y/n." "I understand.." you whispered, your cheeks warmed as he smiled at you, his hand moving from your chin towards your cheek. He pressed his lips to yours, kissing you softly. You pressed your lips back against his shakily, and he wrapped his arms around you, engulfing you in an embrace. You breathed in his scent when he pulled away from you, him familiar smell comforting you.
You pulled him back against you with need, kissing him desperately, all the turmoil you had been locking up inside easing out of your muscles, your body relaxing when you felt his secure grip on your hips. Your tongues moved against each other, the kiss slowly getting more heated. You wrapped your arms around his neck, pulling his body down to the bed and on top of you, your legs wrapping around his waist to hold him steady. Keith groaned against your lips when you tangled your hands in his hair, rubbing the nape of his neck and rummaging your fingers through his dark locks. He pulled away from you, labored breaths matching yours. "Fuck..." he whispered, looking down at you. Your hair was disheveled and sprawled out on the pillow behind you, one of the straps of your sleep shirt hanging off your shoulder, exposing some of the skin leading down to your cleavage. The moonlight illuminated your face, your lips swollen from the heated make out session you just had, and your lashes still wet. You looked absolutely breathtaking, and it drove Keith half crazy. Leaning down to brush his lips against the skin of your throat, you shuddered as he began to press gentle kisses down your skin, your neck tickled as his hair brushed against you, creeping lower and lower until he reached your chest. You held your breath when he slowly brushed the straps of your night shirt off, leaving you topless as he slipped it up and over your head. The cool air in the room hardened your nipples, Keith took a moment to drink in the sight of you, bare and open just for his eyes to see. He leaned down once more, latching his lips to your nipple, flicking his tongue against the bud, making you grip his shoulders, the sensation causing your body to tingle, he kneaded your other breast with his hand, squeezing the mound softly, tracing over your nipple with his thumb. All you could do was close your eyes, head lulling back in bliss at the gentle pleasure. You felt your clit start to pulse, arousal building up in your core. It was clear Keith intended to take his time with you tonight, releasing your nipple to then treat the other one, pressing a kiss to your sternum when he'd had enough.
He trailed kisses down your body, past your rib cage and down to your navel, you shivered in anticipation when he reached the band of your sleep shorts, pressing one last kiss to your stomach before tugging them down, your cotton panties going down with them. "K-keith" you whined as he pressed a wet kiss to the skin of your mound, his hands coming up to press against your inner thigh, pushing your legs apart, giving him full access to you. he hummed, locking eyes with you as he spread your lips apart, your wet folds and clit exposed to him. He licked a stripe up your folds, flicking his tongue over your clit before dipping in again, sucking on your sensitive nub, using his tongue to flick and draw circles on your clit, sending euphoric shockwaves through your body. Your hands found his hair again, gripping the soft strands, eliciting a muffled moan from Keith, who continued to sloppily eat you out, you moaned as his tongue explored your pussy, tracing shapes up and down your folds, circling over your clit before dipping down into you. Your legs shook as you came, Keith licking up every drop of your essence he could, moaning against you as your fingers tugged on his hair. It was almost incomprehensible how your core tightened with each swipe of his tongue as he coaxed you through your orgasm. Your hips rolled into his face, riding out the waves of pleasure that continuously crashed over you. He pulled himself off of you, sitting up to pull his plain black t-shirt over his head. You admired his body, lean, muscular and littered with scars from his encounter's in the battlefield. Training had been kind to him, and you relished in the sight of his bare chest, eyes raking over every muscle on his front.
Your gaze followed his every move as he pulled down his sweats, his dick hard and slipping out of the fabric, standing in all its glory against his lower stomach. Soon, he was back over top of you, pressing his lips hard against yours, hungrily stealing your breath from your lungs. He pulled away to adjust himself, resting himself on his arm as his other reached down to align himself with your entrance. He looked into your eyes as he entered you, his eyebrows furrowing and his mouth falling open as your walls wrapped around him. "Oh fuck... you're gonna kill me, baby" he grunted, pushing his entire length into you as he bottomed out. You moaned at the familiar stretch, situating your legs around his waist. He leaned down to press a kiss against your forehead, his hair brushing against you as he gave you a few minutes to adjust. When he felt your warm hand rub over his shoulder, he began to move. His hips rocked into yours at a slow, but steady pace. Giving you deep strokes as he pressed his body against yours. "S'good baby.. fuck." he mumbled, lips searching for yours, pressing a warm kiss to your lips as he moved his hips, basking in the pleasure. You raked your nails down his back, causing him to shudder and pull away, looking into your eyes as he increased his pace, the bed creaking as it moved with the rhythm of your bodies. "You look so beautiful under me like this... how could I ever live without you" he muttered, dropping his head in the crook of your neck, kissing and sucking on any stretch of skin he could find. You felt your heart swell with love. Keith loved you, and it was foolish of you to think otherwise.
Your mind blanked as you felt his fingers find your clit, rubbing slow circles into you in time with his thrusts. You threw your head back, whining his name as pleasure surged through your body. "That's it baby, let it go" he grunted, right by your ear. You could feel his body tensing as his climax crept up on him. The stimulation of your clit and his thrusts inside you was too much and your body jolted as you came, choked moans falling from your lips as he kept his pace, fucking you through your orgasm, chasing his. He leaned up to capture your lips once more, his hips rolling into you one final time, his orgasm crashing over him. He moaned into your lips, low and drawn out, his hips stuttering as he pulled out of you. After a few moments Keith reached over to turn on the lamp, reaching for a pack of wet wipes on the night stand and carefully cleaning you both up, before switching it back off and flopping next to you. He pulled you against his body, the cold air in the room un-noticeable as the warmth of your fiancé surrounded you. Keith pressed a gentle kiss to your shoulder blade, laying his head down on your chest. "I love you"he whispered, looking up at you, and you smiled warmly, kissing his face. "I love you too" Keith grabbed your hand in his, intertwining your fingers. "I'll always choose you, y/n, and I hope you know that." you hummed, threading your fingers through his hair. "I know, Keith. I don't know why I ever thought otherwise" Keith snorted, closing his eyes and relaxing, his weight against you warm and familiar. You both dozed off in each other's arms, enjoying the warmth of your love.

the concept for this is "what if voltron aliens were like, a little bit less humanoid." Galra (and alteans, not pictured) get to be the most humanoid because theyre main characters lol
[ID: various voltron aliens redesigned to remove many of their humanoid features. The Galra are largely unchanged; the only difference is that they have six limbs. Keith is demonstrating standing on four limbs; he looks not unlike a centaur, although the "horse" part is just a continuation of his body, not a horse (and is also the same color as his human skin, because it is human skin. sorry not sorry). Kolivan is demonstrating standing on two limbs, and towers over everyone else. Krolia is demonstrating standing on all six limbs, which looks uncomfortable but possible.
There is also an example of an Olkari; whose face is unchanged but now is built similar to a praying mantis; a Puigian, who retains the approximate locations of the face markings and horns but looks more like some kind of deer creature; an Arusian, which is built like a snail; and a mer alien, which now looks like a fish with hands and antennae. The Olkari is based on Ryner, and the mer alien is Plaxum. End ID.]

Okay but please imagine Keith’s reaction to seeing Lance after he’s finally spent some time at the beach again? In his natural element, bronzed like a literal god, burnished from the sun? freckles like constellations?? Lance with wavy, curly salt water-hair, eyes soft and relaxed.
+ Keith meeting back up with the paladins after too long away with the blade. 👀
He loves space of course, but even after his time in the quantum abyss, he’s still not used to the way all warmth & body heat was constantly leached away. Despite his memories of cursing his time in the relentless summer heat of the shack, he’s found himself beginning to miss the hot scorch of the desert sun against his skin.
The blade gave Keith a rare opportunity for downtime that somehow happenes to align with an impromptu holiday/break that Allura has planned for the paladins on a sunny, earth-like planet filled with tropical islands, flora & fauna.
To Keith’s surprise, Lance was the one to call and invite him to join them; sunshine already infused in his voice at the idea of seeing a beach again.
For Keith, the mere thought of getting to see Lance in his natural element? He wouldn’t miss it for anything.
He promises to Lance on the spot (he would promise Lance all the moons and stars if he could) to meet him there later in the day.
When he gets there, everyone has already been enjoying the sun & surf for hours. Pidge is sunburned and squinting at the glare against her datapad, glasses reflecting at a sleeping hunk whose legs have been covered by a crude sand castle. He’s spooning a large collection of fruits that look strangely similar to the ones Keith remembers from earth.
Shiro and Coran seem to be playing a complicated Altean beach game that Keith intends to avoid; Allura lays out on the sand, the mice resting in the shadow of her hair.
Keith thinks someone might have called out a greeting to him, but he can’t be sure, because the second he sees Lance? All thougts leave him, head empty.
It’s too soon to blame the redness in his cheeks on the sun, but he can feel how hot his face has gotten anyway.
Lance is sitting in the sand, waves lapping his ankles. His hair is wild & curling behind his ears from the salt water breeze.
The sight of him alone is enough to warm the cold ache Keith has been feeling.
Sand sticks to the bronzed slope of his back, glittering like flecks of gold, effervescent in the bright sun for Keith’s eyes to follow.
His shoulders are broad and already tanned and freckled where Keith knows his own would be red and sore.
His eyes sweep over the scar on Lances back, and the ones on his arms and sides that Keith wasn’t there to protect him from.
But here? With the blue of the ocean to rival his eyes? Lance looks untouchable.
Looks like a god, burning bright and warm and full of life, and when he turns around at the sound of Keith’s name being called out, Keith’s breath catches in his throat because this sight?
This is one he got to see in the quantum abyss. It was one of the visions into his future that he held onto like a lifeline, like a treasure.
The image of Lance’s smile, a true joyful smile, playing behind Keith’s eyelids and keeping him sane on the worst of those nights spent stranded in space.
Lance, eyes dancing bright and smile brighter as his wide mouth forms Keith’s name on a joyful laugh and he hops up to throw his arms around Keith in a hug that feels like /home/ in a way Keith hadn’t known before Lance.
For one delirious moment, the déjà vu is so strong that he’s afraid he and Krolia never made it back at all. That they were still stuck out there in the cold emptiness of the abyss. The way the vision blends with the Lance he has in front of him makes Keith want to hold on tight and never let go.
Especially when Lance leans back and their eyes meet and lock, electric.
Keith still hasn’t even said a word, but Lance only smiles brighter and knocks their foreheads together.
Says, “hey samurai, it’s been too long”
One traitorous hand drifts up against Keith’s will to trace the new freckles dotting Lance’s cheeks, which flush the lightest pink at the attention or maybe the intensity of Keith’s gaze as he floats into Lance’s orbit, pulled to him like the moon to the sun.
Lance’s leans into the hand Keith cups against his cheek, and finally, finally their lips meet; Keith’s cold and chapped and Lance’s, warm and soft, tasting of the ocean.
When he has to pull back to catch his breath, he finally murmurs back a warm and gravely, “hey sharp shooter,” lips pulled up into a crooked grin and eyes tracking the way Lance melts into him at the nickname like always.
They stay like that for a while, catching up on what they’ve both been up to when Lance says offhand, “hey where’s Kosmo?”
Before Keith can answer, they’re both knocked into the surf by 200 pounds of excited space wolf.
Keith wants to be mad, but the way Lance pops up from the water sputtering makes him grin through the hair plastered to his forehead.
Lance takes one look at Keith, waist deep and fully clothed down to the fingerless gloves, mullet drenched, and bursts out laughing at the sight
and Keith can’t even be mad. He pretends to be, crossing his arms and ‘sulking’. He tries to blow his bangs up and out of his eyes before he remembers it won’t work and that sends Lance into tears. Keith sits back watches Lance laugh for a minute, committing the sight to memory.
He’s gonna get revenge on Lance for laughing, but first he needs to level the playing field.
Lance’s laughter slowly winds down as he watches Kosmo run off to greet the other paladins, laughing again when the wolf shakes water all over Allura and Hunk.
While Lance was distracted, Keith had taken his shirt and gloves off, tossing them back onto dry sand and adding his soaked jeans to the pile for good measure.
Keith was slicking his hair back from his face when Lance turned back toward him and froze at the sight, suspiciously quiet.

Some fun AU ideas for Adashi
- Adam is half Galra/human but remained unaware
-Adam is half Altean/human
-Adam half Altean/Galra
-Adam was sent to earth to be a spy however he was extremely young and does not recall his mission at all
-Adam was captured; Shiro gets recaptured and thrown into the Gladiator ring again, they have to fight. Adam doesn't remember Shiro
-Shiro and all Paladins get to Earth the day the Galra invade. Shiro ends up saving Adam before Adam can unalive and Shiro is p i s s e d they went after Earth, especially Adam
-Adam and Lance get captured at different times/places resulting in Keith and Shiro to go after them, only they have to make a choice who lives: Adam or Lance (bonus for Adashi/Klance parallels)
-Matt teasing his friends Adam and Shiro constantly being a little terror to them
-more Adam, Shiro, and Matt being the og Garrison trio
-Krolia meeting a young Adam while she's with Keith's dad and Keith's dad being a mentor/role model to Shiro
-Matt, Shiro, and Adam discover Voltron earlier and are the paladins
-Adam meets Zarkon, Lotor, and/or Sendak and goes ferral on them for hurting shiro, Keith, and the other paladins
-They never broke up when Shiro went to space making
-Adam went on Kerberos replacing Matt, Sam, or Shiro
-Adam gets captured but is released as if a hostage, he was brainwashed/had a chip put in him
-Shiro vs. Kuron and Kuron brings Adam up to emotionally hurt Shiro (lowkey pisses Keith off bc no disrespects his brothers like that)
-Shiro and Adam reunite but are stiff thinking the other has moved on. They're only around each other when necessary unaware that they're also spending longer times together again - /and of course I still want him, but I can't when he's clearly moved on/ (cue Matt and Keith pulling a parent trap)
-rebel leader Adam whether it be on earth or a different planet
-Adam helps make Shiro a new hand
-trouble makers Adam, Matt, and Shiro (i.e. Matt and Shiro causing chaos while Adam tries to get them to chill)
- teenage Adam wanting to impress Shiro so he does something stupid that could actually result in explosion from the Garrison
-Shiro and Adam having relationships with the other Paladins before Kerberos (Pidge especially)
-Adam making Shiro blush easily
(Shiro: you know what you're doing
Adam: what are you talking about. [Actually knows what he's doing])
-Shiro and Adam loving to observe each other from afar from when they're cadets all the way to when Shiro leaves for Kerberos
-Adam is secretly an heir to a great fortune, but he had cut ties with his family and didn't get it til his grandparents passed away (Adam is not the only living relative just a sole inheriter)
-Adam sees Kuron and Shiro fighting and is the meme of "hey what's x + x kuron: correct answer Adam: shoots him Paladins: that was the right answer Adam: yes, but Takashi always does this (cut to Shiro and Keith doing the same fucking movement)
- Adam giving Shiro a silent treatment for dying in space
-Adam thanks Haggar for curing Shiro before unaliving her
-nervous cadet crushes bc they're 50/50 if the other will say yes if asked on a date. Someone makes a remark on the other making Adam or Shiro punch someone. The fight is broken by the time the one who wasn't present gets there (or maybe they're pulling their crush off) and don't get the full story until the one who wasn't fighting is helping patch up the one who was
-they're roommates as cadets
-Adam or Shiro is roommates with Matt while the other has a single room (cue Matt doing his best in getting the two idiots together)
-young Keith unaware that Adam and Shiro are dating so he tries to get them together (he enlists Matt's help)

“Jesus – fuck!” Keith yanks down on the yoke with all his might, making their little pod rear back, missing the gigantic asteroid by mere inches. He watches with wide eyes as the asteroid continues rocketing by, acutely aware that he nearly smashed the pod in everyone in it.
There’s a tense, speechless silence in the pod for a moment, everyone aware of how close they were to becoming Actual Space Debris, before Romelle speaks up.
Because of course it was Romelle.
“Maybe focus on keeping us not dead and daydream about gay reunions later,” she says drily, and Keith bites back a scathing response, because he realises he has absolutely no leg to stand on, there.
“My bad,” he says instead. Romelle rolls her eyes fondly before decking him lightly on the shoulder.
Well, it would be lightly, were she not an Altean. But she is, and Keith has to tense every muscle in his body to keep from crying out in agony like a loser.
“Wait, no, not your bad,” Krolia says.
Romelle blinks at her. “Okay, I get he’s your son and all, but it very much was his bad.”
“No, I got a signal for a second!”
Keith whips around, staring at his mother with wide eyes. “You got signal? Seriously?”
“Yes! I think it was the magnetic flare from the asteroid! Get close to it again, I might be able to hold the signal long enough to broadcast!”
Keith does not waste a moment. He turns the pod around at lightning speed, pushing it as fast as it will go to catch up to the asteroid, carefully avoiding its surrounding debris, which is a lot harder than it looks, and causes a significant amount of turbulence. Which, of course, sets Kosmo off, howling at the windows and scratching at anything he can reach, on top of the deafening grinding sound of surrounding space rocks smashing into each other at high speeds, and the crackling of the comms they are desperately trying to make work.
“Anything?” Keith yells over the chaotic noise of Every Sound At Once.
“Yes! The signal is getting stronger! Once I can get it to connect, it should maintain itself, so keep close just a little longer!”
Keith grits his teeth, wrapping both hands around the yoke and ignoring the voice in his head – that sounds suspiciously like Lance – that makes a dirty joke about the position. He just focuses as hard as he can, trying to keep as close to the asteroid as he can without smashing the ship into it or getting smashed by all the debris travelling at several hundred miles an hour.
“Closer!” Krolia shouts.
Keith resists the urge to tell her that he’s closer to the asteroid right now than he’s ever been to any parental figure in his life, because that would be uncalled for and also rude and he is a Mature Adult, now.
He nudges them the slightest smidge closer, praying to the universe at large that the thrusters don’t give out, and finally Krolia shouts in success.
“I got it! I got Voltron! Pull back!”
With great relief, Keith does, putting as much distance between them and immediate mortal peril as he can. Once the asteroid is far enough away that Keith no longer feels his heart attempting to pound clean through his chest, he slumps over the controls, repeatedly reminding himself that this is, at the very least, better than the goddamn motherfucking bitch-ass space rift.
(Which is, honestly, a very low bar. Contracting E. coli from getting a swirly would be better than the space rift. But still. Small victories, et cetera, et cetera.)
“Um, hi?” comes a voice Keith hasn’t heard in two fucking years, and he almost cries in relief.
Well, not almost. There are tears streaming down his face. But he feels he’s pretty justified, so it’s whatever.
“Pidge!” he calls, ditching the pilot’s seat and fully running over to where Krolia sits, radio holoscreen up and working.
His old teammate gapes at him. “Keith?!”
Keith grins, soft and happy. “Hey, man. I missed you.”
She stares at him in silence, for several minutes. Keith lets her gather herself, even though the silence is getting real awkward real fast.
“Why do you look jacked as hell?” is what Pidge decides on, and God, it’s been so long since he’s heard a dumbass remark that’s definitely a poorly disguised roast, somehow. It feels like home.
“Because I am jacked as hell. I spent two years in Actual Hell –”
Romelle glares at him. “Quit talking shit about my actual place of residence –”
“Your place of residence imprisoned me for two fucking years I will talk all the shit I want –”
“I can beat you up, Kogane, try me –”
“I can handle a beating and still run my mouth, M’lyoy, so I will try you –”
“Children!” Krolia barks, and they both snap their mouths shut so hard there’s an audible click. “We have desperate, time-sensitive information. You have been bickering for three straight days. Can it, or so help me, I will turn this ship around.
“Goddamn, Kogane,” Pidge says after a moment, “someone just got told off. What, did you fuck off and find your mother or something?”
Keith blinks. “Yeah. How’d you know that?”
“How did I know that – I was joking, dude, fuck! Is that actually your mother?”
“I am,” Krolia says. “You must be Pidge. The short one who cusses often.”
Keith freezes. “Ma,” he hisses, “why would you tell her I said that?”
“Three straight days,” she deadpans, completely uncaring.
Pidge glares at him. “I’ll admit I missed you, you bitch, but please know that you are so, so fucking lucky you are not within bayard distance.”
“Noted,” Keith says weakly.
“I can smack him for you, if you like,” Romelle offers, not even attempting to hide a smirk.
“Thank you, strange Altean, whose existence baffles me beyond comprehension,” Pidge says.
Romelle attempts to do as promised, but Keith jerks out of the way at the last second, and then scrambles over to Krolia’s other side to avoid any further assault.
“Coward,” she and Pidge say at the same time.
Man, having little sisters is annoying. Almost as annoying as having an older brother. Keith wishes he was back to being an only child.
(Not really.)
“Can we please get back on task,” Keith says, which is hilarious coming from him, but whatever.
“Right,” Pidge says, face turning serious. “What the hell is going on?”
“First of all, where’s everyone else?”
“Doing other shit,” Pidge says, “I’m on monitoring duty. Coran and Hunk are reworking the control panel for the accelerators, Shiro’s meditating, Allura and Lotor are on their Oriande mission, and Lance is – actually, I have no idea what Lance is doing, but he’s on the castle somewhere. Probably.”
At the mention of Lotor, everyone’s face goes ashen, playful atmosphere completely dissipating.
“Fuck,” Keith says.
Pidge, ever the problem-solver, looks resigned. “It’s Lotor, isn’t it,” she says, and it’s not really a question.
“Yes,” Romelle agrees softly. “He’s a monster. He’s using my people as batteries, to drain our quintessence, to rule worse than his father ever did.”
“And we’ve just led him by the hand to the one place that will make him unstoppable,” Pidge summarizes, looking absolutely miserable.
“Unfortunately.”
“I don’t suppose you have a plan?”
“We don’t…not have a plan,” Keith says. “We’ll have the element of surprise, so long as we get back to the castle before he does, and that’s got to count for something. We’ll send you our coords, and we’ll try to meet as quickly as possible? It might be easier to plan with the whole team present.”
“Sounds good,” Pidge says, immediately pulling up a few dozen screens and schematics. Krolia quickly types something on her keypad, and Keith watches as it pings over to Pidge. “Oh, hey, we’re actually not that far away. Maybe a couple hours, if we gun it towards you? And Allura – God, I hope she’s okay – won’t be back until the end of the day, so that timing works out. I’ll tell Coran we need to get moving and fast.”
“Thank you, Pidge,” Krolia says.
“No problem, Ms. Keith’s Hot Mom.”
Keith sighs. Romelle giggles. Krolia looks amused.
“I forgot how annoying you are,” he mutters. He doesn’t need to look to know Pidge is sticking her tongue out at him, but looks anyway, just to prove himself right.
“Well, I look forward to reminding you, booger-brain.”
Keith opens his mouth with the full intention of calling her a roach-face, but then remembers that he is a Mature Adult, and decides he will instead graffitti it on her workspace as soon as he gets back, like a real man.
“Bye, Pidge,” he says, and reaches forward to swipe through the holoscreen.
“Hey, wait! Don’t hang up yet!”
Keith pauses, looking at her expectantly. “Yeah?”
The playful, teasing expression that came back for a moment when they were arguing has melted from her face, and she looks serious again. Nervous, even. “Um, something… happened, while you were gone,” she starts, and Keith immediately jumps to the worst possible conclusion.
“What happened to Lance? Is he okay? Is he hurt?” he asks in a panic.
“He is not dead and also not injured or maimed or anything,” Pidge says, which is very different to ‘why, of course not, Keith, Lance is safe and happy and healthy’.
“Spit it out, Pidge,” he orders in his Patented Black Paladin Voice.
“I can’t really explain it. I’m just gonna – I’m gonna send you a link, and you’re going to watch the whole thing and not tell Lance I sent it to you, okay?”
Keith swallows roughly. “Just tell me what happened, Pidge.”
“Okay, Keith?” she repeats, and Keith knows he’s not going to get anything else out of her.
“Okay. Fine. Send it to me.”
“It’s sent,” she says, just as a notification pops up on the receiver. “Um, you can hang up now. That’s all I had to say.”
Keith doesn’t even say goodbye. The only thing he can focus on is that receiver. In the background, he can vaguely hear Romelle and Krolia ending the call, but all his attention is on the little notification – a link, like Pidge said. He picks the receiver up carefully, and walks carefully over to his bunk in the back.
“I guess I’m driving!” Romelle says cheerily, trying to goad him into a playful argument (her… interesting piloting skills having been the subject of their bickering on numerous occasions) but Keith barely even hears her. He clicks on the link, space youtube quickly taking up the screen.
In hindsight, Keith wishes he’d waited to watch, waited for Krolia and Romelle to fall asleep, or even dug around for a pair of headphones, or something. Anything instead of playing what feels like a private message – even though this is clearly something that was broadcasted to the universe at large – to the pod at large.
Hindsight is 20/20.
Instead, he watches with wide, horrified eyes as he witnesses the direct result his leaving had on his best friend.
I'm sorry but I gotta go
That’s what he said to me, as he let me go, he left me alone
Keith recognises those words. He fucking – those are his words. The thing is – the thing is, that contrary to what he knows everyone else thinks, Keith didn’t leave for the Blades after a few days of private introspection.
He talked to Lance – to his right hand – about the issue for months. They made the decision together. Lance knew every feeling, every need running through Keith’s brain, and consequently, Keith knew every thoughtrunning through Lance’s.

They hear the rumors first.
The Altean Empire has a new prince. They don't connect it with the recent capture of three of their own- why would they? Akira, Cat, and Tsuyoshi are all human. They've probably been hoktril'd by now.
They almost definitely have, given that the base they all operated out of was attacked shortly after their capture. Thankfully, they'd already largely abandoned it, and were able to pull everyone out without any further captures. Any data they left behind in the base was destroyed. They should be safe for now.
Still, the news of another Altean royal is troubling. The current Altean Empress, Empress Fala, is too old to have another child of her own- her only biological child, Princess Merla was born late in her life, and she had no other children. This new royal heir must have been adopted into the royal family- which can only mean one thing.
There's another Altean with alchemical talent.
The attribute has become vanishingly rare amongst the Altean populace. It's a great relief to the rebellion- they've heard tales of the feats that Altean alchemists are capable of. So for there to be another one is deeply troubling. They will have to keep their guard up, see what this new prince is capable of.
They get their answer much sooner than they expect.
It was supposed to be a simple mission- targeting one of the Altean Empire's supply ships. In and out. No one expects the new prince to be on board.
No one expects him to be Akira.

Being on the back of that creature was weird. They'd only been there for about a week, yet Keith had seen his mother's memories. He'd seen the moment his parents had named him, and both of them fawning over him as a baby. It was... oddly sweet to see it, how his mother loved him.
In turn, Krolia saw his memories. Both of the times he'd lost Shiro, how he meet Shiro (Krolia was laughing for a good few minutes at how Keith had stolen Shiro's car) and some of the memories he had of Adam and, perhaps most embarrassingly, Keith ranting about Lance to Adam and Shiro.
So it was fair to say that they were on even footing, really.
And the more time they spent there, the more they saw each other's memories and the more they learnt about each other.
And then there was his wolf. He was stuck on a name for his wolf, so he just called it Wolf for ease.
"What do you think is on the other side?" Keith asked. Krolia hummed in thought.
"I'm not sure, but I hope that we can figure out what the source of the energy is," she replied. Keith sighed.
"What about the source? Any ideas as to what it is?"
"No," came the reply. He groaned and laid back on the ground. Wolf came up and sniffed his face.
Keith was thrown into the future, if the appearance of a hospital room in the Garrison of all places was any indication. Looking to his side, he saw Krolia there, too.
"The girl's cutting off the supply," a voice said. Keith looked behind him and gasped.
There was an incubator of sorts in the room, made of black, white and blue Altean technology. Standing to the side, was him and Lance. Lance, who he knew he liked. Lance who, in this vision of the future, was tucked into future Keith's side, a golden ring standing out against his skin.
"She'll be okay," future him said.
"What is she's not though? Allura said that the incubator won't prevent any illnesses or anything like that from forming in them. They could be born with a heart condition!"
"It's not likely, love." Lance huffed, watching as Colleen Holt and a few other scientists worked together to reach in and pull something out of the incubator.
A baby, covered in slime. A baby girl. As soon as she was able to breathe, she started to wail. Colleen took her and cleaned her off, weighing her and then wrapped her up.
Colleen walked over to them, the child that Keith guessed was his and Lance's daughter, cradled in her arms.
It was Lance who reached out for their daughter. He started to coo to her, calming her down enough. Her cries turned to whimpers in his arms.
"What's her name?" Colleen asked. Future Keith said something, but current him couldn't hear it. Colleen smiled.
"That's a beautiful name for her. Powerful, too."
Keith didn't know how long he stood there for, watching his future self and Lance hold their baby. Then-
"The boy's cutting his supply off now," a doctor said. The same process, then a baby boy was lifted from the incubator. He cried too, but not like his sister, his twin, did. Colleen did the same thing, and it was future Keith who took the boy into his arms.
Current Keith watched as the doctors did tests on the babies, then laid them side by side in a crib.
Krolia's future self chose that moment to enter the room. The doctors and Colleen smiled at her, then left. Krolia just nodded at them before going up and hugging Keith's own future self, as well as Lance. The three of them, as one, turned around to look at the babies.
"They're beautiful," Krolia's future self said.
"They are," Lance agreed.
"What are their names?" Future Keith told her, but the names weren't heard. Krolia smiled.
"Those are wonderful names for them. I have no doubt that they will be strong in the future."
The vision faded, leaving Keith standing there, in shock.
"Keith?" Krolia asked. He looked at her.
"I'm going to be a father," he said. "I'm going to have twins in the future."
"Is that a bad thing?" Krolia asked. Keith shook his head.
"No, it's not. It's... it's wonderful. It's amazing. I- I can't wait to meet them," he said. He could feel the disbelieving smile on his face. Krolia pulled him into a hug. He returned it, laughing. "I'm going to have children with Lance!"
"I'm happy for you, Keith," Krolia told him. Keith buried his face in her shoulder.
"Thank you, Mom," he whispered. It felt natural, and so right. Krolia tensed up, but ended up hugging him tighter.
________
He had more visions of the future on that whale. He saw a glimpse of a boy standing in Black Paladin armor, a girl in Red Paladin armor. Then there was an image of him holding out two knives, identical except for the black wrapping on the grip on one and the red wrapping on the grip of the other.
Mostly it was memories coming to him, though. One of them was of when he was younger, and had asked Shiro and Adam if they ever wanted kids.
"I'd like to adopt," Shiro confessed.
"I don't mind what we do. I think that I just want to be a parent to a child before I die," Adam replied. Keith was curled up into Adam's side, sketchbook open and the beginnings of a drawing of his family on the page.
"Besides, we have you right now, and that's all that we really need," Shiro said.
That particular memory ended with Keith crying as Shiro and Adam held him.
"I need to thank them for all they've done for you when I meet them," Krolia said.
"You don't have to," Keith said.
"No, I do. They took care of you for some time. They gave you a family. I must thank them for helping you, for caring for you when I was unable to," Krolia insisted. Keith nodded, a lump in his throat making it impossible for him to say anything else.
The next time they saw a vision of the future, they were eating some meat that they had hunted with the help of Wolf.
Keith found himself in a market place filled with people who came in all sorts of colours, but dark, and wearing pale robes in comparison. They all wore jewellery made of crystals. Keith noticed that the most simple crystals the older people wore were glowing faintly.
They were following a girl, who had black hair that was tied up in a ponytail. It fell down in gentle curls. Her skin was only slightly lighter than what Lance's skin was, and Keith realised that she was wearing his red jacket. A belt around her waist revealed a knife with a red grip.
She carried a bag on her back, and she walked with a purpose. She was looking for something, but Keith didn't know what it was. She seemed interested in the people around her, listening to people shouting about food and clothes and other merchandise, trying to sell their goods.
"Come and get Soul Crystals here! Perfect gift for married couples and parents!" One of the vendors shouted. The girl stopped, seemed to think of something, then walked to the vendor selling the 'Soul Crystals'.
The booth was covered in those simple crystal necklaces that Keith had seen. None of these ones glowed, though they came in all different kinds of colours. Pink, purple, blue, green, red and many others. The vendor grinned when they saw the girl.
"Well, hello there, traveler! May I interest you in a Soul Crystal for your significant other? Or perhaps as a gift for your parents?"
"What do they do?" The girl asked.
"Well, these are an ancient tradition among our people. They are linked to two people's Quintessence. It allows for couples to feel each other's emotions, as well as acts as a compass of sorts for them, so that they always know where each other are, and how they are feeling."
"Is that why they glow?" The girl asked. The vendor nodded.
"Precisely," they said.
"How much would it be to get a couple for my parents?"
"Fifty VIC," the vendor replied.
"Here," the girl said. She pulled out a wallet and pulled out a note, which Keith noticed upon further inspection was a 100 VIC note. He wondered what VIC stood for.
The vendor took the money.
"Now, just close your eyes, and search for the crystals that match your parents. It's easier for those who have Quintessence sensitivity." The girl closed her eyes. She opened them again.
"Those two, that blue one with white swirls and that red one that has gold in it, those match perfectly," the girl said, pointing at the crystals on basic black strings. Keith's breath hitched.
The blue one she mentioned looked like the ocean, and the red one looked faintly like fire. He turned to get a better look at her, and saw that her eyes were purple, like his own. There were flecks of brown in them.
The vendor packaged the crystals and tied the boxes closed with ribbons.
"I wish your parents a wonderful and fulfilling life, Young One."
The vision ended there. He turned to face Krolia.
"That girl," he said. He couldn't continue the sentence.
That girl was his daughter, the one he saw being born in another vision.
"She's beautiful," Krolia said, apparently either having read his mind, or having come to the same conclusion as Keith.
"She is," he said, a smile on his face.
He knew that his future would be wonderful. He decided, then and there, that he would win this war and survive, so that he could see these visions come to fruition.

So, I just realized something about Krolia- Is it possible she's only half Galra? I noticed that in the scenes that we see crowds of Galra, almost every single one has fully yellow eyes; very few have pupils, and the ones that do simply have small black dots for them. Krolia however, has regular humanoid pupils, and the only characters that have eyes like that are the humans and humanoid aliens (Alteans, etc), and Lotor's crew, which are all only half Galra. Also, she has legitimate hair, which like, no galra has, except for Lotor's crew as well. I understand she probably looks the way she does to make her more amiable than typical Galra and to resemble Keith more, but I think it'd be interesting if she was also only half. Also, I think she resembles Acxa a lot, and I think the headcanon of Acxa and Keith being siblings is really cute.

Hi baby!!! It’s me here with fanfiction game words! 🥰❤️❤️❤️
okay okay okay here are my words:
- intimate
- protectively/protective
- warmth
-giggle
Feel free to choose your favorites 🥰❤️❤️❤️
WEEEEEEEE THANK YOU LOVEY
intimate
i was honestly worried i wasn't gonna have this one but LO AND BEHOLD I FOUND ONE
for the as-yet-untitled oneshot for prompt o: opportunity in the abcs of klance series:
The Galra are their best bet. The Lions are a one-way ticket straight up the ladder, a promotion no soldier would turn down. But the Galra also won’t leave the universe’s greatest superweapon so damaged. Fixing the Lions will be high on their priority list. And who better to understand the intimate connection between Lion and Paladin than an original Paladin and Altean alchemist themselves?
protectively/protective
i did not have protectively/protective specifically, but i do have protect!!!!
from the as-yet-untitled oneshot for prompt t: trust in the abcs of klance series:
Lance’s spork scraped his plate. The screech filled the dining room, and the vibration of it traveled up Lance’s arm until it sat uncomfortably in his teeth. The others startled, raised their heads. Lance looked down and realized his knuckles were turning white. He couldn’t explain himself, if the others asked. What was he supposed to do, just admit out loud that he didn’t trust having Krolia here? Not after everything? That failing to protect Keith then, and still feeling like he was failing to protect him now, was eating him alive?
warmth
again, no "warmth" specifically, but i do have warm!
from [REDACTED] chapter 2 (light content warning for emetophobia):
Keith was no longer following at all. His heartbeat was suddenly loud in his ears, and the curdling thing in his stomach had made its way up to his throat. He must have made a noise, maybe turned green, because the next thing he knew, he was hunched over on his knees, the team surrounding him, several hands on his shoulders and back. Warm brown fingers pulled his hair out of his face.
giggle
astoundingly, there is no giggling going on in my dozen wips. everyone is having a miserable time forever and ever and ever. however i did find some laughs
from the hallura crush fic:
Allura blinks at him. “Um.” Then she remembers her whole purpose for coming here, and blinks again, and remembers that she is the face of the Coalition. This is nothing. The stakes of this whole thing are not higher than the war. She can do this. “Yes,” she finally answers. “I need advice.” There’s a startled snort from behind Lance. Lance’s uneasy smile twitches. “Advice? From me? You’re asking me for advice?” He laughs, high and unnatural. “That’s—did someone put you up to this? Is this a prank? Pidge asked you to say that, didn’t they?” “No,” Allura answers, fidgeting now with her fingers. “I—I want to talk to you. About…romance.”
fanfic wip guessing game! send me a word, if it’s in my wip document I’ll answer your ask with the sentence paragraph that it appears in!

Allergies I think Voltron characters have:
Keith has an allergy to grass, not like the sneezing when around it or anything but the kind where if their skin makes contact with it, it feels like he’s being bitten by fire ants. Lance once tackled him down a hill and it was not fun for either of them. (I have this allergy so I’m kinda speaking from experience.)
I just think Hunk is mild-ish allergic to cats. He sneezes SO much when there’s one around but he really wants to pet one.
I think Allura and Coran are both allergic to bees, both earth and Altean. So Coran always brings an epi pen wherever he goes and makes Allura have one on her too.
Lance is allergic to food coloring and most seafood.
Adam and Shiro are both lactose intolerant. They both got really good at finding dairy free alternatives for different foods that they knew they both liked.
Matt and Pidge are both deathly allergic to peanuts. (Matt spent so fucking long explaining deez nuts jokes to Keith because he kept making them and Keith was worried.)
Romelle is allergic to Juneberries and dairy.
Krolia is allergic to those space catapillars (the ones that were attached to hunk in that one episode.)
