the part where joel and bill were forced to have a grumpy paranoid man playdate while tess and frank hung out and had fun WAS extremely funny though so it wasn’t all tears

I've been watching Hazbin Hotel in prime. Just watched episode 5 and I gotta ask

Why, oh, WHY DON'T I SEE MORE PEOPLE TALKING ABOUT "MORE THAN ANYTHING" WHEN TALKING ABOUT THE HAZBIN HOTEL MUSIC???

Like I get it, the song before it "Hell's Greatest Dad" Is a bop reminiscent of other music from the era its parodying. I loved it.

BUT why are you only putting clips of that song when this MASTERPIECE comes a few minutes after

I honestly don't even know where to begin with this song. The visuals are beautiful, especially when we get moments like this where you can just see the absolute LOVE this man has for her daughter is so sweet and Heartwarming I just-

The voices are fenomenal but what else can you expect from the broadway talents of Erika Henningsen and Jeremy Jordan.

There is also the whole Symbolism with passing the baton to the next generation and stuff. I- I can't even get into the specifics right now Im too emotional.

But above all else THE LYRICS

So I’m rewatching and catching up on Doctor Who for the first time in like 6ish years so I can watch the new specials and like my favorite will always be Tennant, he was My Doctor blah blah but you know what, this rewatch reminded me how much I love 12, mainly his season with Bill.

Capaldi is such a great Doctor. He’s not always nice but he’s always kind and he loves so hard. He’s so funny and I love how he loves playing guitar and he has sonic sunglasses bc he’s just trying to have a good time, he may not be a kooky bow tie guy anymore but he’s still silly. Him and Bill are like best buds and I wish we’d had another season with them and even Nardole bc their relationship was just fun, there was no pre-destined or weird importance placed on her, she was just a normal person who loved learning and was kind and had good vibes. The best of humanity, the kind of person the Doctor takes along bc they remind him that people are important. Bill brought out the best in him and also GAY🦭 anyways his last words are so beautiful and I miss him

#also rip Clara I don’t have anything against her and but I truly think they brought out the ‘worst’ in each other #not like actually the worst but like it wasn’t great #that said I did cry at the last episode when we find out HE forgot her :( him and his guitar playing the song just gets me #and at the end of his run when he remembers who she is 🥺#see actually the second 12&clara season wasn’t too bad but the first one was just 🫠#like it just seemed so toxic?? and for what??#I did like the season finale with the cybermen and Danny protecting Clara but like their actual relationship was also toxic?? so much lying #that 2nd season is better w their relationship but that hybrid shit? didn’t make any sense?? it was just made to seem important #but it literally wasn’t at all 😭#I do wish 12 had gotten a few more episodes with river so it wouldn’t have been such a sudden return?#meh idk #anyway capaldi you’re literally a rockstar doctor <3 #this is my first time seeing 13’s run too #I had to skip arachnids cause phobia but I just started the demons episode #I’m still trying to decide how I feel ab her but I love Ryan he’s so funny #I feel like she’s missing that rage that’s literally just below the surface of all the doctors #but I’ll keep watching to see if we get that later

#dandy blogg #jrwi spoilers #jrwi prime defenders #god i hate mallard so muchhhhh it’s not even funny #and also the way grizz is playing dakota so far straight up made me cry my poor baby boy #they all deserve the world #dakota on the edge of a panic attack for like the entire first episode #the way william and vyncent didn’t question him about it that much and even reamed out a spirit of chaos for being too loud #and mostly just tried to support dakota even if they didn’t understand what was going on like. fuck dude #dnd podcast got hands #william has always given me mom friend vibes ngl #anyway i’m loving the atmosphere of season two so far and i love the tone it’s set with the first episode #and the difference between william now and william then feels palpable which is impressive so kudos to charlie #can’t wait for him to undergo even more trauma ^^ <- literally cried about the trauma he already has last night #that scene with dakota actually sharing his feelings candidly and very upfront for once even tho he clearly struggles with articulating #and processing his thoughts and feelings about stuff but wanting to try for his friends because honesty is important to him #the way they’re playing all their characters is absolutely devastating and i’m ONLY ON THE FIRST EPISODE #i think season two is going to crush me dude ngl. can’t wait lmao

i have to say bella ramsey and pedro pascal have been acting their absolute ASSES off in the last couple of episodes. obviously great performances across the board but 6 and 7 cemented just how much they can make me cry

Love in the Apocalypse.

It's a story about how you can fine love even when world is over. It is the best queer romance I have every seen. It's also just the best romance I've seen in general. I love that it's a romance between two older gay men and that they got be happy in there own little paradise basically. They got to live authentically without the fear of being shunned for being gay, or the possibility of being hurt or killed by the homophobic people in the world.

It shows the difference between surviving and living in a world so bleak. Bill at the start of episode is all alone, surviving. He's not dissatisfied with his life but it was probably lonely. But when Frank showed up he experiences new things and learns how to love and live in a world were living seems impossible. It shows a glimpse of happiness and normalcy in a world of chaos and discontent.

It's a beautiful love story and I'm sad seeing that there are people out here angry over seeing something so beautiful and meaningful to people just because it's queer. It's just so sad but also infuriating to see. Why can't people just love who they love?

life updates (even though no one asked for it): i finally after 6 years of trying moved out of the country woohoo. i’m in a whole new country in a whole new continent and today is the first day i’m just chilling in my room.

i want to get back to making gifs and being more online but honestly there’s nothing fun going on rn and also my classes start on monday :( the only thing that has me excited is only friends and 23.5 but i also have 500 things to catch up to so if any of them get me out of my slump i may end up here again

also... WHY DOES EVERYTHING LOOK SO DIFFERENT ON HERE 😭😭😭
