the drive to the venue took longer than anticipated, traffic was so backed because dfw is just Like That. dont come here. and ft worth especially oh my GODDDD but we made it in time for the maine. i missed the first opener again its fine

ive only listened to the maine casually over the years and i like them but THEY WERE SUPER FUN LIVE????? the energy was so high for such a short set and they honestly sound better live than album recordings. i may have to stan

6 (which ship fans are the most annoying?): i mean considering ive had the first image saved on my phone for years and i made the second one based on it months ago i feel like i couldnt possibly answer anything else

i dont even dislike sns itself but the way the fans act about hinata in particular makes me so genuinely angry.LOL like theyre so pissed naruto didnt marry sasuke that they invent a whole new narrative where hinata was always fully in control of the hyuuga clan and saw & treated neji like a slave and would happily brand one of her children with the caged bird seal. nevermind the fact that she was practically disowned and her own father told her teacher that she could die for all he cared, that she worked with neji to change the hyuuga clan all throughout the timeskip despite him almost killing her shortly before, and that they have canonically succeeded in making the branch family equals to the main one and that they do not use the seal anymore. like can you shut up about hinata if you dont even know that the only way to break the seal is by dying so shes not simply refusing to undo it and that they dont brand people who dont have the byakugan because the whole point of it is to protect the secrets of the byakugan so its not like boruto or himawari would ever be at risk of getting the seal since boruto doesnt have the byakugan. which btw doesnt make sense w the established hyuuga lore and neither does himawari awakening it since theyre supposed to be born with it and its the sharingan that people have to awaken but whatever. this is unrelated to sns fans im just annoyed that kishimoto forgot. u seem to like/draw like . everyone in somnium files im dying to know what ur ranking of them is and why like i cant pin down a favorite based on ur posts

My ranking is honestly kind of simple because I love everyone! (tier list so I can organize my thoughts accidently put Saito in the wrong spot he SHOULD. be next to So)

I honestly really like every character in the first game. Every character feels unique and like they have a reason to be there, even Mame who doesn't get much screen time. They all have their own thing going on which I feel helps flesh out the world they live in really well.

Date and Mizuki are my top faves but everyone else in that tier is really close to them sdkfhsd, their route just personally hit the hardest for me, and then Ota's route.. (although honestly every route hits in such a good different way) I love their dynamic so much, and a lot of their dynamic reminds me of my and my dad LOL (just in a more healthy way than them) Basically the moment I saw Mizuki in that pillar I knew I was going to love her, traumatized young child that seems to have sooo many issues and knows the protag? sign me up! But yeah, going from her route and the ones on the left side to the right side was so jarring because there is like. No Mizuki in Iris' route like at all, which made me very sad. But when she is there she totally just steals the scene so I get it skjfskd Having all the other characters trying to tell Date how Not Okay she is always made me so mad at Date like "Sir!! Sir please help your daughter" and he just didnt. I think thats one thing that bothers me but its easy to ignore since the route wasn't about her. BUT YEAH I Love Date and Mizuki and their dynamic they are my faves and I REALLY!! Wish it didn't feel like everyone just. forgot about Mizuki in the end of the true route. But thats ok because I guess it makes sense, Date was struggling lmao I loveddd what we saw of Falco which is why he's UP there too, I just find him so facsinating and loved seeing how much he loved Iris and Hitomi, and just how much he was willing to lose in order to protect them. Hitomi is also definitely one of my favourites because shes also just so fascinating, I will always have a memory of playing her backstory part with my friend in my hallway because we couldnt find anywhere to charge her switch, and just being so FLOORED at everything she revealed. That poor woman has been through so much and still remains hopeful and filled with so much love and that just. ow. I love her sm. I love Iris. I used to hate Iris. (I played the left side first, so it wasn't really Iris) She got on my nerves because of how obviously manipulative she was to Date, but now I love that about her shes so cheeky sdkfjsdf she gets so many of her traits from her Uncle <3 Such a goofy girl I looove her dynamic with literally all of the characters because it shows just how SMART! She is I don't think she gets enough credit for how smart she is. Aiba is so silly and I love her, shes such a strong character in the first game and her relationship with Date really is everything to me. The warehouse scene almost made me cry but because I knew she would come back after it didnt affect me as hard BUT STILL. "I hate you Aiba and I never want to see you again" is a line I will never be able to forget. Her humour is one of the best parts of the game and I just love how much she shines in somniums when messing with Date, neither of them have a single thought, do they sdhfshdf I'd go over the other 3 in my top tier but this is already very long UM.... if you want me to talk more about a specific character feel free to send another ask!! (Just a note, this is my opinion on all the characters excluding how they may have been changed in aini, not for any reason I just like the characters more in the first game)

oh I LOVED IT and im both surprised and very pleased that a lot of people are loving it as well, i hope we get more seasons out of this. its shaping up to be quite an interesting story, and the way they've set up the characters, the lore and the world of the story in this first season is pretty great imo. tbh tho i was a bit disoriented at first with the pacing and style of the show akjfdlk but i eventually got the hang of it and in the later episodes and now doing my first rewatch, i love the show for what it is and not what im used to/expecting based on other shows you know?

i didnt notice this during my first watch, only after watching the first ep for the second time but i love the parallel story-telling of julliette and cal and their respective families and life situations. it highlights the stark differences in their families, aside from them being mortal enemies, like how their respective families treat jules and cal, how their identities and motivations are shaped and how the two girls are drawn to each other (and subsequently separated) because of it

AHHH im rambling now, i swear i have more thoughts and feelings about the show, but as for now they're still a bit incoherent which im hoping my second watch will help make more coherent lol

hi its me again the tattoo anon LOL. i just wanted to reply to what you said and im so glad that i made you happy with what i said and i genuinely mean it. this is a little vulnerable but ever since i started liking svt i think a major reason why i love them so much is because they are a big group of friends and i have friends, but not that many so stanning svt in general is so comforting because of the closeness of all of them but finding this fic was like. a fucking dream for me because them being such a big close knit group and it being like the found family trope is perfect and the way you write and portray them is so comforting. genuinely i meant it when i said its one of my favorite things i have stumbled upon in my life, i have shared this story with my friends and they love it too and when we watch some edits of seventeen or see something in general that reminds us of this fic we say “this is so under the sun coded” and its like an inside joke with me and my friends. you literally changed the trajectory of my life with this fic lol. when im having a hard time in my personal life i come back to this little world u created by either just thinking about it before i fall asleep or rereading it and i want to thank you for being a writer. i hope you enjoy writing what you write bc i know that i certainly enjoy it and i hope you are proud of urself. anyway i think selling subtle stickers would be so awesome and i will definitely buy them. also since i submitted my last ask i have thought about little ideas for a tattoo maybe?? like what about like a small drawing of a church and like 13 little people around it with a little sun?!? or flowers like you said OR getting little drawings of the animals each person has? i think that would be so cute. or like maybe a little sash blindfold?? anyway ur awesome i love u thank u

the first time i tried to answer this ask, my long response ended up deleted bc i switched tabs for a second to check something and then tumblr just... deleted it??? which was v frustrating, kind of makes me hate the new post editor a Lot!

but to be vulnerable as well, i think i started writing UtS at like... a difficult point in my life? not difficult as in the painful way, but difficult as in 'there's a lot going on right now and i've never felt more alone than i do now' i guess? it's like... i started writing it right before my final semester of college, and i'm an online student, so i don't get to go out and be in a classroom with other people. sometimes i call myself an introvert when i think the term 'ambivert' has always fit more--i don't detest being social, i do tend to enjoy it! but i still need alone time to make up for it since it's draining. and idk, i was lost for a while on who i am and what i want to do with my life?

and i feel like writing UtS has put me in a vulnerable position to like... question a lot more about myself as a person. i have friends, sure, but no one i go out to see in person since i'm not exactly like... in a good place for that kind of interaction (deep south bible belt, haha... makes not being straight something i struggle with sometimes). i think the important part of UtS is the acceptance they all have for one another, and it's something i personally wish to have a lot more of in my offline life. i think even if i had the idea without darl+ing, it would have ended up being a svt fic due to how close they are and how much they care for one another.

also tbh i just love the found family trope. i love the idea and process of choosing your own family in a sense and saying 'these are MY people and i love them' ig.

also u showing the fic to ur friends + the comment abt being like 'this is UtS coded' ill SOB!!! i will!!! thats literally so cute and sweet of u!!! (pls feel free to send me any of ur 'this is UtS coded' thoughts i would always love to hear them haha)

but like. this is why i write. i like being able to impact people and help them escape life and be happy for a while. its why it always means a lot to me when i get feedback on my work and see people be happy with what i write (... even if sometimes its angsty haha--moving people to feel is a huge compliment by itself!). im glad you have UtS. im glad i have it now, too.

i do enjoy writing, btw, and i loved writing uts. even with the frustration periods where i didn't touch it for a while, i genuinely enjoyed writing uts a lot. i think i owe a lot of that to people like you, who read it and show support for the series! its always easier to read something when i know there's someone who will enjoy it. i remember smiling hard when i rewrote the ending to cheol uts bc of how fucking stoked i was to share it tbh!!! also bc i messaged savv 'lol this is gonna be devastating (/pos)' at one point i think sdkfhsdf but i was genuinely excited to finish it and get it out to u guys!! i dont know who i would be if i didn't write, and despite like... all of the bad shit that's happened in my life that i've turned to writing to pull myself out of it, i don't think i'd ever give it up. i think it's too deeply a part of me to ever give up. maybe one day i'll get published lol

ill definitely put more thought into subtle stickers for UtS (and maybe some other series haha cant remember if i mentioned that last time but UtS felt like the bigger one)! might have to ask around my friend circle for tips on designing them >:3

You whipped your head to stare down Kie, your sister, sending a shock of whiplash down your spine. It was no surprise that you were staring at your blonde friend, ogling JJ’s toned arms as he pulled himself up onto the boat with marsh water dripping along his perfect golden skin. He was literally too pretty not to admire.

“Kie, I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

“Yeah, okay,” you glared her down, “m ‘just saying you aren’t exactly discreet, babe.”

Rolling your eyes at the girl, you turned back to the view and like magnets your gaze zeroed in on JJ’s beautiful self. You swore he did it on purpose, large, ring-clad fingers running through his hair as his stomach became taut with muscle from his movements.

You knew he could catch your eye at any moment but, in all honesty, that would not be the worst thing to happen in your friendship. You had been admiring the handsome boy for a while now. JJ was aware of the looks, you were sure, sending a playful wink as your cheeks flushed red. It was hard to be quiet about the literal angel that Maybank was.

Time was good on him, anyone could see that. The blonde had gone from a short, scrawny fifth grader to a well filled out, grown guy. You let yourself look over at him again, eyes hungrily taking in every section of his defined form.

“Everyone okay to head back?”

Lowering your eyes to your lap, you try ignoring the heat rising to your face and the goosebumps as JJ approached you.

“Sounds like a plan.”

“Yeah, Pops needs me home.”

“When does Heyward not need you home, Pope?”

You slapped his thigh lightly for that comment which, of course, JJ just pecked your cheek and you forgot about the whole thing.

“Shut it, JJ.”

You smirked, high fiving John B as the sky blue eyed boy pouted at you. You giggled before pinching his cheeks and laying a head on his shoulder. Kiara was sending you a raised eyebrow that was joyfully ignored as JJ’s sunkissed arms wrapped around you tightly. The two of you stayed like that for the rest of the boat ride, cuddled into each other, chuckling as the older boy whispered pickup lines in your ear.

“Hey babe, if I could rearrange the alphabet, I’d put ‘u’ and ‘i’ together.”

“Oh my god JJ, will it ever end?”

“Here’s the finale,” he pulled you back into his chest as your friends unloaded the old motorboat, “do you believe in love at first sight — or do you need me to walk by again?”

“J, that one was-”

“A masterpiece?”

“The worst one yet, to be honest.”

Shaking your head at his idiocy, you climbed out of the boat and started walking towards the chateau, a slightly high, blonde on your tail.

“Wait.”

You turned back to John B who had an unamused look on his face but a teasing glint in his eye. The brunette always had something up his sleeve, especially to torture you and your love for the boy currently wrapped around you.

“Y/N, can you and JJ clean up the dock? Payback for slacking when we were packing up earlier?”

“Um, yeah, sure.”

You didn’t know whether to curse his name or send him a gift basket as the brunette walked up the lawn, leaving you and your infatuation alone, together. JJ seemed to not care about the extra labor as he approached you, wrapping a warm arm around you and walking back towards the dock. You played with his long, ring-clad fingers, the ones pressed into your tummy, admiring the contrast between his golden skin and your mahogany tones.

“Whatcha’ thinking about?”

Your eyes snapped up to find his back to you as he collected the trash strewn around the ‘HMS Pogue.’ You had settled on the little bench JJ had made a few years back.

“Nothing.”

“Doesn’t seem like nothing.”

You hummed, looking up to catch his gaze aimed at you. His familiar playful smirk was now substituted for a soft, endearing look. This one was reserved for you, you were sure, JJ always wanted to know everything about and he knew most things, but not this.

“J…”

“Baby,” he was now kneeling between your thighs, strong thumb holding your chin so you’d have to look at him, “I hate it when you keep something from me.”

“It’s nothing, I swear.”

“Baby-”

“Drop it.”

JJ stared up at you with earnest blue eyes. You were so close to cracking and telling him how you couldn’t help but fall for him, it’s not like he made it easy to not. His grip dropped from your face, palming your dark-skinned hand in his instead.

“Shouldn’t we get back to cleaning?”

Your voice was light, cautious as you tried to control your racing heartbeat, smiling down at him and trying to lift some of the tension. He shrugged it off before gazing back at you.

“I want to talk to you, actually.”

Your heart stopped.

“About what?��

“Me and you.”

“What about us?”

He smiled cheekily before leaning up towards you, hands settling on either side of your body. The tip of his nose almost brushing yours and his familiar minty gum breath caressing against your toned, brown skin.

“I see your staring, doll.”

You dropped your eyes, heat flushing under the apples of your cheeks. Just like Kiara said, you weren’t subtle and now it’s nipping you in the ass. You could hear JJ chuckle next to your ear.

“I like making you blush up close.”

“Something wrong with seeing me flustered from far away?”

“Want to admire you, baby.”

Your eyes traveled up the spanse of his body, holding back a soft whimper when you noticed how close he was. Lips brushing against yours as he smiled. He took your breath away, like always.

“JJ? What’re you doing?”

“Kissing the girl I like.”

You didn’t have the chance to process his words before his lips were clasped to yours. His rough fingertips pressed into your cheeks as he held your face close to his. Your eyes fluttered shut and your noses bumped together when you tugged his closer by his broad shoulders.

Tracing shapes along the dark, smooth skin across your waist, JJ slipped down to the underside of your legs. A giggle escaped your lips amidst a sigh that he pulled from your throat. He lifted you up into his arms like a feather while you gripped at his soft, blonde waves, unable to get close enough to him. He pulled away slightly and chuckled as you careened closer to his touch. Pecking your lips slightly, his flushed face pressed against yours.

“Took you long enough.”

“Don’t lie, you liked my little show.”

“‘Mmm,” you hummed before pressing a chaste kiss to his pink pout, “like this more though.”

Im trying to avoid anything too specific from WOH because I have to wait on the subs but all of the gif sets you reblog are so pretty and I am just 😭😭😭 i wanna look at them and reblog them already (and like don't feel bad about that, curating my own dash and avoiding spoilers is entirely my own responsibility xD im just impatient because WOH is so good but waiting on the subs is the worse)

although idk if ur like me. but i saw plenty of spoilers on my dash and still really had no idea what was going on until i finished the show this weekend. so. i don’t think the gifs really encapsulate what u are about to watch! (u could do what i did and like them but not look at any of em until the show’s done being watched ToT that’s what i did cause i didnt wanna miss the pretty gifs and lose em lol)

also: if you have android or iphone, people put out guides on how to get youku app vip if you did want to watch the whole show now. i’m guessing you know that’s an option right? vip was i think 18 dollars or less for 6 months. i ended up doing that because i was afraid the show might not finish airing. but it clearly did, and has been basically pretty secure, so i’m fairly sure it will finish airing on youtube ^-^. (i generally prefer watching on youtube so i can watch on tv). the youku app also had a 1.50 dollar special bonus 7 minute ep that is like the ‘final ending’ and i watched that too. i’m hoping it will also, at the end, be uploaded to youtube (because it will be really awful if its an ending only watchable in some places ;-; )

but like. u can watch on youku app if ur impatient... they uploaded all eps with eng subs. its all up there to watch now for youku app vip. i forgot who made the guides for getting youku vip if u wanted, but they’re pretty easy to find and floating around.

vriska killed her aradia, but not only did she kill aradia, vriska made her BOYFRIEND kill her. and the boyfriend just so happens to be sollux! which is actually cute, i support it, i ship, but now in the future its going to make me sad whenever they have screen time together agsjgshsh

anyways, he was unaware this happened because he was being controlled by vriska. presumably, she forced him to eat the mind honey. this brings a whole new perspective of the “under no circumstances do you eat the mind honey” i take it. so now aradia is actually dead dead.

but shes still here!! because shes a ghost! so its alright!

and the origin??? lol, vriska wanted to actively kill tavros when he pushed him off the cliff rather than just break his legs, which made aradia upset so she created the hauntings. vriska contacted doc about it who advised to kill aradia. yada yada, to shorten it up, vriska and dick scratcher suck ass.

doc scratch is a crusty old dildo who manipulates young children for his master to kill their friends, his master being lord english. and from all of this shit that occurred, there’s a plan apparently?? idk what the plan is. but hes making children kill each other. so idk. maybe hes trying to off them so they dont corrupt his plans. he acts like a cocky bastard however, and has a weird god complex. thats why i made many death note references.

oh, and theres a lot of cahoots for THIS particular dilemma, (not even all of homestuck this is just for...one part of the story), but ill take a screenshot of one of my posts about it bc i do not feel to type it up rn:

oh not only that! but scratch is a “first guardian” which means hes in charge of the whole planet or some sort of being that REPRESENTS the planet?? in this case alternia. and yeah idk, im rereading that part now bc before i was more angry than anything so i didnt process it completely, and its still sorta confusing. he has a genetic code, the same as every guardian apparently, considering they SHARE the sequence? but that code grants them omnipotence? what?? and “when merged with a host of great intelligence, near omniscience as well” im not sure what this means, if its a random genetic code that gets into a living being which CREATES the first guardian or if its a first guardian that has that code and NEEDS to have a host.

but if doc scratch has been here since the birth of the planet, what does that make lord english? hmmm, how powerful IS lord english in this case if the fucking “first guardian” is a servant to him. im curious

ummmm also he glows like bec? jades dog? idk if thats just an art choice but the similarities are so uncanny that i had to point it out. makes me wonder. tho.. iirc bec glows bc he eats radioactive food or something,,,, i really forgot, i havent seen the kids since december okay.... but idk, he glows like him so that means he can do the space teleportation schtick as bec does, which is how he probably gets from place to place i presume. idk if its BECAUSE of that very same “genetic code” the first guardians have, making bec a first guardian himself (of earth maybe??) or if its just a coincidence. and knowing homestuck, could be either. tho im guessing we’ll uncover more of that later as it doesnt seem like we’re supposed to know right away and i may be pulling shit out of my ass based on a green strobe light resemblance

Have you heard about PFA and MFA?

or the full name is ‘Psychological First Aid’ (PFA) and ‘Mental Health First Aid’ (MFA)

Can we relate it with Cloud Strife? As we all know, Cloud had mental illness and was struggling alone. Let’s take a quick look on this topic then and see if characters in FF7 ever give PFA/MFA to Cloud or to each other. This is going to be a looooong post although I tried to simplified it, so, yeah. Good luck reading this !

Disclaimer : I’m not a psychologist. I’m still a student and psych is not my major field. During my intern, other than we got exposed a lot about psychiatric disorders and ways to deal with them, we also got trained psychological first aid in emergency department. If it wasnt because of this quarantine, i would have finished my training in emergency field. There might be false interpretation here or there, forgive me for that and pls correct any mistake in this post

This will probably trigger LTD. Sorry, but I had to, Pls read this post with open mind. Keep in mind I like both Tifa and Aerith, i have no grudges agaisnt Barret, Vincent, Nanaki or Cid so I am not being bias with any of them. I forgot a lot of stuff in OG (I played it when I was really really small), so I will be using lots FF7R and AC references here (and a bit from OG, depends whatever I remember)

Good to go? Allow me to rant. Read it slowly and if u skip some of it, u’ll probably mislead my actual words, and u’ll be triggered af. Don’t come at me with madness if u dont read the whole post properly

What is PFA and MFA? Generally speaking, if Basic First Aid is about covering the wound to prevent further bleeding, then PFA (Psychological First Aid) and MFA (Mental Health First Aid) is like applying a bandage on ur mental to avoid u continue being distress.

Usually, PFA is often associated with disaster event or terrorism, where large number of people got affected. Meanwhile, MFA focus in one person who is developing mental health prob or already in mental crisis due to certain traumas, such as vehicle accident, house burned and etc

Pls note that, certain people NEED MFA while the others may NOT NEED it. It is important to respect their needs/wants. Some victims may refuse verbally but they ACTUALLY NEED it (CLOUD STRIFE) and maybe some victims look like they dont need it, but they want it, and its super fine to give it

PFA/MFA not only done by the professionals and it is not a professional counselling, although necessarily training is needed if u want to approach deeper in this field. PFA/MFA is also not a psychological ‘debriefing’ - in which MFA/PFA doesnt need to involve a detailed discussion of the trauma event with the victim, but instead, it is an alternative way to psychological debriefing that helps for long-term recovery. (unless if ure a pscyhiatrist, then u have to forget about MFA and ask detailed questions regarding the events to help the patient to recover)

MFA and PFA both almost the same, but I will mention more about MFA here.

MFA (Mental Health First Aid) is not just about comforting “Oh, are u alright. I’m sorry for what u’ve been through”, but it is also about assessing their needs and concerns, protecting them from harm, provide practical support and support them feeling able to help themselves and others.

The main key for these two term is RESPECT - respect victim’s dignity, respect both parties safety and respect victim’s rights to make decision. Even without the PFA, we should respect these three in whatever circumstance we are in.

A lot of us honestly were born with natural skill of MFA bcause of our own empathy, instinct or experiences and some got trained professionally. Some of them already had MFA due to high common senses they have.

Some of the Do’s and Dont’s when giving MFA include;

Do’s : 1. Be trustworthy | 2. Respect their decision | 3. Be aware of and set aside ur bias | 4. Make it clear to them u are available for help even they push u away | 5. Respect their privacy and personal space | 6. Do remain calm and soft when the person in distress | 7. Listen and don’t interrupt their talking | 8. Help in terms of basic needs | 9. Create connection the person with others | 10. Give hope to them | 11. Provide private place to talk about the event | 12. Respect their strenght | 13. Advice small necessary matters or give simple words of encouragement | 14. Acknowledge positive features of what victims have done

To simplify, there are 3 ways for MFA to begin, and I will only talk about one of them, the one that is the hardest to do, that is when u notice someone looks distressed and ure concern about them, and leading u to approach them first without them noticing ur concern. [Am I putting the right words here?]

In Cloud’s case, who do u think the first noticed Cloud behaved oddly and went to help him first ? - yeah Tifa. U probably would say “OFC she went to help him, she met him first at the train station. That guy looked sick af, who wouldnt ask if he was alright. If Aerith/Yuffie/Jessie met him first, they would do the same”. Okay guys, that was not my point.

Let’s focus one by one characters and see what Do’s and Dont’s MFA (Mental Health First Aid) they’ve done to Cloud and other charas. Keep in mind, none of them know what Cloud had gone through, but Cloud had showed some obvious sign he was unwell and only a few of them noticed that and took action for it.

The symbol [X] means the Dont’s in MFA and ( ✔) means the Do’s in MFA.

Biggs Jessie Wedge -

I know there’s a thing about man helping man’s psychology and Jessie being flirty with a guy.They [X] thought Cloud was like how they saw Cloud. and they considered it as normal. They didnt see Cloud under distress so they dont have the need to concern his mental status. The good thing about them was, the three of them (✔) respect Cloud’s strenght, giving Cloud the confident to be in action. But, Jessie [X] had zero respect on Cloud’s personal space

I wanna highlight about Biggs. Biggs had an attitude of overthinking stuff, but it wasnt so bad that would cause him harm, he just cared too much about his friends. So I believe Biggs was the type that would notice immediately when his friend being strange and would give MFA (Mental Health First Aid) with his own instinct even without the person asking it.

During the Sector 7 Plate attack, where Biggs was severely injured, when Cloud said he was not a fan of kids and Biggs said Cloud had so much in common (in common of what? Cloud with the kids or Cloud with him?), Cloud gave him ‘a sad look’ and Biggs reached out his hand to Cloud’s head. Biggs (✔) remain calm and soft when dealing with Cloud’s feeling (who faced traumatic event but Biggs didnt know about it) on that moment despite his current physical status. And also he (✔) wished goodluck to Cloud, leading to prevention distress on Cloud

Marle -

Marle [X] judged Cloud for someone who had no skills, but she entrusted Cloud to take care of Tifa’s well being. Not knowing who Cloud was, Marle noticed Cloud looked glum, she (✔) offered her ear for Cloud to rant and knew right away he was not having enough sleep, then (✔) advising him to sleep more . Lol, she was [X] biased with Cloud and Tifa. Not her fault, she only knew Tifa’s story, not Cloud’s. After the Sector 7 plate fall, we saw her being the most active member to help with the remaining citizens there. Marle without a doubt had given the citizens there PFA (Psychological First Aid) , by helping them with their (✔) basic needs, (✔) create connections, (✔) put away bias, (✔) remain calm and soft.

Barret Wallace -

Barret was the same like Biggs Jessie Wedge. I’m sure Barret thought Cloud was just fine. Barret saw Cloud as a mercenary with stinky attitude,[X] judging him like that causing Barret to gave him the same attitude too. But overall, he (✔) respected Cloud’s strength a lot

However, after the Sector 7 plate fall, Tifa and Barret were the one that hurt (mentally) the most, Tifa as usual locking her emotions, there we could see how Barret comforting Tifa by (✔) giving words of encouragement and proceed on (✔) hugging her to show his empathy. Barret also (✔) remain calm and soft spoken when talking to the survival victims of Sector 7 citizens. He also (✔) acknowledged what the citizens had done to survive

Vincent Valentine -

Don’t be surprise Vincent was listed here. This guy here was like another version of Cloud but more mature. In addiction, they both kinda share the same pain. So, I personally think Vincent understands Cloud pretty well. In AC, where Cloud was mentally ill, Vincent saved Cloud from Kadaj and brothers and (✔) took him to safer place. That was a common thing to do. But let’s go deeper, Cloud never told him about himself, but Vincent already (✔) aware of Cloud’s trouble with the geostigma stuff and Cloud’s current mental status. Vincent, (✔) calm and soft like always (✔) didnt hesitate to asked if all of these were just about ‘fighting’ and it made Cloud to ‘re-think’ further about his problem. He (✔) didnt pressure Cloud here, instead he was (✔) helping Cloud to understand the condition he was facing, and this lead Cloud to avoid distress.

Aerith Gainsborough -

I know Aerith was special. She was an important character and devs created her to be ‘loved’ by the fans so that her death would be tragic. Aerith did almost all the things that shouldnt be done when giving MFA to mentally ill person. Some of u may say “Duh, Aerith didnt know anything about Cloud thus she had no intentions of giving him MFA”. Yup, ure right. Aerith didnt know about Cloud’s mental status but so as all the other characters in the series.

Aerith was [X] being pushy with Cloud, in lots of ways, from making him as a bodyguard for free to forcing him to wear a dress. She [X] forced Cloud to accept her idea about meeting Andrea, dance and gown. She also [X] forced Cloud to help picking the flowers. Aerith [X] didn’t let Cloud to have his own decision [X] neither giving him a chance to talk, and [X] abandon his feelings (cough..uhm, Aerith resolution). She also had [X] no respect on Cloud’s personal space and [X] too much touching and leaning to him. Aerith also [X] put herself in danger and that worried Cloud. She [X] looked down on Cloud in someways too

However, at the Sector 5 slum, where the hooded man appeared, Aerith noticed Cloud was having trouble with himself, she (✔) encouraged Cloud to keep himself together. Also, throughout the entire game, Aerith always remind the team to (✔) have hope in everything. Her positive vibrant attitude was what (✔) made everyone able to believe in themselves. She also (✔) ensure Marlene’s safety and protected her. She was able to (✔) remain soft and calm when approaching Marlene. Remember Betty? Aerith took her time to helped her out and she even (✔) respected the little girl’s strength, (✔)slow and steady when saving her and (✔)soft spoken

Tifa Lockhart -

Tifa met Cloud at the train station, saw him being ‘not-so-fine’ state despite Cloud claiming he was completely okay. Tifa didn’t know what Cloud had gone through and she (✔) didn’t pressure him to talk about it. She even helped him to (✔) find a place to sleep even when Cloud never asked for it. Tifa unconsciously was the first person to give Cloud MFA without knowing what Cloud had faced previously. And Cloud, on that moment, he really needed a help. Tifa also (✔) stated that if Cloud need anything, she would help him with it

Tifa (✔) remain calm everytime Cloud had sudden headache, she didn’t leave him alone and (✔) didnt put any pressure on him by asking question. During the (✔) Alone At Last, they had privacy Tifa asked about what happened after he left Nibelheim. She (✔) listened and didnt interrupt him, (✔) neither pushing him to talk more. Moreover, Tifa (✔) put a distance with Cloud, dunno if she was the one who was being uncomfortable or she actually (✔) respect Cloud’s personal space and privacy. Tifa (✔) didn’t force him to stay at Midgar, she asked him and was glad Cloud would stay for a while. Tifa was no doubt (✔) respect all Cloud’s decisions too. Also, don’t forget, Tifa also helped Cloud to help (✔) make ‘close connection’ with the Avalanche members and people in Sector 7 slums. She also (✔) didn’t do much touching with Cloud (Well, I mean, she didnt touch him in clingy way)

In AC, Tifa (✔) encouraged Cloud to have hope for Geostigma and the family

Tifa did [X] put herself in danger by becoming Corneos bride participant and that gave Cloud trouble (but Tifa ensured him she would be fine on her own previously) And btw, in OG, I read about the fans questioning why Tifa [X] didnt tell Cloud the truth. I would like to argue this matter. TIFA IS A CHARACTER WITH REAL HUMAN FLAWS, she too had her own traumatic event and was not really sure of herself on what to do. However, considering what Tifa had done for him, Tifa had helped with Cloud’s psychology the most.

I know Cloud was putting up a font, and that made him to have condescending attitude, and people couldnt see what Cloud was hiding behind the the bravery face. However, all of us as fans acknowledged the pain Cloud was suffering in the entire FF7 story. Some of the characters like Tifa, Marle, Vincent, Biggs noticed it and they took actions for it, while others, I do personally thing, they were hurting the Real Cloud’s mentality more.

Long story short, Tifa was the one who gave mental health support the most to Cloud, followed by Vincent (AC), Biggs and Marle. Aerith did the worst with Real Cloud's mentality + she then died, mking Cloud be more miserable,

However, Aerith actually had the best way to give MFA/PFA to children, but maybe the worst to Cloud. While Tifa gave the best MFA to Cloud which helped him to get himself together through out the entire time

what if i told you remus janus AND virgil all have matching stick n poke tattoos?

they're tiny, faded and kinda grey more than black, but theyre still there on all of their left hips. just little crescent moons

remus was doing it to himself at first (he has dozens of tats where he just did random stuff himself) then janus saw him doing it and wanted in. he was bored and kind of couldnt believe he didnt think of doing something like that before, it's peak punk aesthetic

remus was the one who suggested they see if virgil wants to as well. janus fully expected him to say no but virgil really wanted a tattoo. he was presenting in his late teens at the time and was pretty desperate to appear edgy since he realised that's what it took to be taken seriously in their house, so he was instantly like 'oh a tattoo?? ahem yeah sounds chill mhm' internally: AHHH YEAH THATS AWESOME HECK YE THATS BADASS YES YES

plus he isn't that sensitive to pain so it was manageable. though he did freak out a little about the possibility of infection. but janus made sure to sanitise everything properly because as much as he's for rebellion he's also for safety and not making dumb mistakes

virgil didnt want remus to do his one because he was scared remus would do a different design without him knowing so janus did virgil's - virgils tattoo is the neatest because janus has steady hands. However, there is a slight wonky part of a line where janus accidently brushed his hand over a tickle spot and virgil squirmed suddenly

remus did janus' - remus went HARD with the needle and janus was very flinchy and hissed in pain a lot but turned them into sentences like 'SSSsssssssuuuch a pleasant feeling hOLY shhhh*t!' remus and virgil were in hysterics

and virgil did remus' - remus' is the most faded and wonky because virgil's hands were a bit shaky and he really didn't want to stab too hard despite remus constantly whining that it wasn't hard enough. virgil just cant bring himself to be physically aggressive and it squicked him out seeing the needle pierce the skin, he did the whole 'okay so now i just *stab* EW oh my god ewewewewew no no nope' but he got more used to it after a while

when remus looked at the faded tat after and pouted janus pointed out he literally had dozens littering his torso and legs so whats so bad about one more thats perhaps less ideal? remus started whinging about it and janus noticed virge was starting to feel guilty so he just teased remus about being fussy and sent a little wink to virgil. the two shared little quiet smirks

i kind of like this one because it makes u remember that it wasnt all upset and arguments and teasing in the dark side house, it had to have had some fond moments like this for virgil to stick around for 15 years. plus janus really was his parental figure for that time, even though he didnt do as much as he could have he was pretty good at the parent stuff that he did do

also the day after vee's first bathtime with papa, patton points out that he never knew virgil had a tattoo and vee gets super blushy about it lol
