I’ve intertwined this specific fic quite closely to my own mental health and how I’ve dealt with my own grief from losing my dad. That being said, I’m much farther along in my own personal journey through my grief than Danny or Jazz or anyone else in the fic for that matter. Which means that I’m no longer feeling those feelings at those levels anymore. Sometimes it spikes which results in a new chapter but there’s no way for me to know exactly when these ‘episodes’ will happen. Which then makes it harder to write characters dealing with those feelings and experiences in the moment when I myself have grown and moved past them. For now I’m trying to figure out this new direction in my life as well as what this means for the fic.

I have no intentions of abandoning or discontinuing this fic. So rest easy in that aspect. ^w^ But I also can’t guarantee when the next chapter will be finished and posted. I do appreciate your (and everyone else’s!) support and patience with my EXTREMELY wonky and SEVERELY inconsistent posting schedule. 😅 I haven’t gotten much of ch10 finished but I do have a oneshot for this specific au mostly finished. As I walked in I saw Aziraphale and Metatron talking in the corner of the room, Aziraphale sat on the couch, Metahoe sat on a wooden chair. So I figured I'd go sit down by Aziraphale to sit in on their conversation.

"Does Crowley have to be here?" He groaned.

As much as me and Aziraphale (or Aziraphale and I, idk english rn its 1:21 AM) hated to hear that it, it was true. There is a very big chance this all goes south and we end up discorporated or even possibly erased from the book of life.

Schezo (unfortunately) doesn't call Rulue a bitch in the first episode. Wish he did but alas, he doesn't. Instead, by an anon telling me, he more calls her a "Meat-headed woman," or something along the lines of "All Brawns and no Brains."

This also goes for episode five, where Schezo first hears Doppelganger Schezo. While yes, he does call Doppel "Kisama," a very rude version of saying "You," with how Puyo is, I don't think they'll be hard swearing anytime soon. I believe it's more of "You little..." or just "You," though any Puyo translation experts can correct me on that one.

For the past 3 years I've had this image of Witch from Puyo Tetris saying "SHE will turn you into HORRORS BEYOND ALL COMPREHENSION." and never understood it. Now I do.

(Maybe someday there'll be a remake. Or I'll remake it IDFK. This single girl has given me like 3 sleepless nights from translating, so thank her for that. Still my 3rd favorite character)

Here is my absolutely irreverent and chock full of hyperbole, only nominally-guaranteed-accurate rendition of Silvio's event story.

So our story starts with Emma walking down the hall and being stopped by a very persistent aristocratic man she’s been dodging for days now - almost a dozen times now whenever she’s found herself alone he’s popped up, ‘coincidentally’, pestering her to have tea or spend time with him. 

He tries again today, stating how beautiful it is outside and how she should join him for tea. She tries to make her excuses, apologizing and saying she has a prior engagement, but this stalker says no, he knows that’s not true - she doesn’t have anything on her schedule, he’s already checked with the servants in court. 

She’s dismayed and also more than a bit wtf internally, when he presses her and says she doesn’t have any reason to hesitate so they should go. Takes her by the hand, making her skin sort of literally crawl, and tries to pull her off - only to be interrupted by a voice.

“Found you.”

Someone’s hand comes from behind and snags her, hauling her in…and she turns around to find, to her horror, that it’s Silvio there behind her. The tyrant himself, the last person she probably wants to see or have anything to do with because he is patently The Worst. 

She can tell already that today is going to be rough.

He’s got his arms around her from behind, caught up too in his fancy schmancy exotic cologne, when he scolds her for making a hassle of herself. She’s one part relieved to be rescued from the creepy aristo guy…and one part full of dread because it’s Silvio that’s saved her and she knows he is far faaaar from a nice man. 

He says with a smile how she’d already make a promise to him for the next while, and she’s blankly like….promise??? Prompting him to scowl at her before she’s all OH RIGHT RIIIIGHT THAT PROMISE RIGHT NOW YEP YEP. Realizing that maybe he’s trying to cover for her excuse to the aristocrat earlier. 

Silvio’s grinning, but then he turns to the aristocrat and brushes him off, stating he doesn’t know who the guy is but he shouldn’t dare touch someone else’s woman - specifically, this woman is his.

it's so interesting that you're a gmm and watcher fan because a) i am too and b) there's so much stuff i wish the channels would take from each other - like i wanna see rhett and link borrow from watcher's creativity and more exciting release schedule and i really need for watcher to learn from the ways that rhett and link connect with each other and the audience and constantly pull you in through their bond. i feel like they're two halves of the perfect channel idk

Yes I love watcher! They both have very diffrent types of content (I'll be honest I haven't been keeping up that well lately 😬) I love watchers schedule and that they post once a week, but I get that Mythical had this format of posting everyday since the beginning (correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure that'd how it was).

Now there's nothing wrong with an everyday posting and that's a bug reason they're successful, but I feel like it puts waaaayy too much pressure on their writers and they can't come up with too creative stuff and gotta stick to some old things (plus there is this whole; food content gives them more views so let's stick to that instead of keep pushing non food till we connect with new/old audience that likes the non food stuff)

I did see a change in Mores like they let it run longer sometimes even longer than the main which is great because they let loose and have fun.

what I like about watcher is that the majority is scripted but the joking and banter isn't,plus they have some established content they rotate around (watcher has some too and I think we all love the darts/shuffle board/scorn hole games) those are gun because they do some games and not just sit down and eat, which is why the vibration challenge or the task master or bring it back is so much more fun to watch than fuckin gut check 🙄

Mythical also needs to focuse more in the society,and not just on the app!! oh and tiktok they used to do sketches now we just get scenes from an episode we just watched?? maybe they wanna promote the episodes to others but to fans who watch most of the time it'd just so boring.... why are they not doing anything on Mythical bits anymore?? This isn't me hating on them please don't get me wrong. I just wanna see them have fun acting and make jokes they can't on gmm. 🥴😭😳🤯😩 My god how to form words... I just rewatched the teaser and compared to that, the haunting choir was stronger in the YouTube shorts version and 🤯🤯 I lost my mind. The choir and the horror like harmonization that you mentioned sounds AMAZING. There is a really high female(?) voice in the very back, holding that note for like almost the entirety of the yt shorts and it literally just fucking catapulted me into the sun. There is a haunting vibe mix of Fake Love from MDP and the choir reminded me of that. Honestly, I'm excited that anyone reads and interacts with my stuff at all.

I also do think it has a little to do with how inconsistent my posting is? Right now, I'm in an off-season with my work and I have a lot of time to write. Because of that I've been on top of it more, but when my work season kicks in, I just don't have a lot of time. So unless I have really solid motivation and ideas, I don't get much done. In the past I've posted chapters in bulk, then disappeared for a handful of months. And I think on any social media platform that tanks your engagement.

I've been talking about putting myself on a posting schedule for a really long time. Theoretically, I should write just as much, but only post an update to a different story each week. Then, everything would update once a month. And If I have a back stock of chapters done then even when I'm busy I can just do final edits and post.

It's a lovely idea but I just get so excited when I finish things!!! I just want to get it all out there. That's why I'll post 5 chapters in one night sometimes 🤣

So there's that! Plus, the G/t community itself has really gone through a lot over the years. I've been on Tumblr since like 2013/2014? (Yes, I was a Homestuck. You didn't ask but I'm telling you anyway) And I've just lurked in the G/t community for most of my time here. I was waaay too nervous to actually post anything. And then you know, when yahoo first bought Tumblr a LOT of people left and that really changed things. Then, people started coming back and THEN there was a lot of discourse in the G/t community specifically, and a lot of people left again. Now I feel like people are trickling back in sort of? Nature is healing idk.

Also visual art gets a lot more engagement than written word, typically. Which totally makes sense. I can look at a picture for 3 seconds and be like "yeah that's good. I see what's going on here." But if I'm going to read something, it's a choice. Typically things aren't very long so it's not a huge commitment, but no one is going to read 2k words in 3 seconds you know?

And I'm not complaining, that's just how it is. (But even still the engagement for art has even gone down too. It used to be like any art would get like 1-4k+ notes. Now it seems like popular art gets around like 400-700 notes and then or 700-1.5k+ if it's reeeal popular)

So, it could be any number of reasons from I don't post consistently enough, to there simply aren't that many people around anymore. 🤷‍♀️

BUT I do see like a handful of people consistently interacting and enjoying what I post and that makes me so happy ♥️

short answer: yes?

I first got into skating because I knew someone who competed in ladies singles and didn't pay attention to men's until much later; so I feel like I have a kind of tainted view of ladies. (She actually retired because she was fed up with the i*u – she was a pcs>tes skater; not the best jumper, but beautiful technique and artistry)

now I only really /care/ about men's; but I do watch ladies (if/when I have to time) and do have a few ladies that I keep an eye on (Kaori, Rika, Katya, Anya, Mae, Starr). But I don't actively follow the drama/go out of my way to plan my schedule around being able to watch the ladies event.

I think that the quality of artistry is more across the board in ladies because they're not expected to have as high tech scores as men's (obvs the russians girls are pushing this); but it's kinda hard for me to watch girls much younger than me whilst thinking about how their bodies/minds/etc. suffer from what they do. Also, the way that they bend their bodies isn't as pretty to me. (aka why I don't like Kami and a lot of the other russian girls – "I" spins don't impress me because they looks so unnatural and gross because I know first hand that you basically have to destroy your spine to be able to do them... there's a reason Yuzu doesn't do Biellmans anymore -- rip)

Idk maybe it's because I'm a dancer and know what they have to go through and how damaging it can be in the long run (I can't move my right hip without it popping 😅) that it's less enjoyable for me. I feel like, though men are pushing themselves athletically, they're not doing so in an inherently unnatural way as the ladies seem to; so it makes them more pleasant to watch.

As for the other disciplines: pairs TERRIFIES me because of that one girl who got dropped and became paralysed and then died of complications and I just Don't Understand Ice Dance ??? 😂

but in general, yea i only follow men's because I hate myself

I AM WORRIED ABOUT THE GIRLS

Before you go "you should have been long time ago" i always have been but that worry has increased. As you can see, girls have been overworking since 2022. 2022 they released their 5th mini album "Checkmate" that followed their 1st world tour under the same name. Let's remember before the album release, they need to work on it and film everything, after that comes music show and variety shows, fansigns, after that came tour but before that they needed to practice for the tour. They go tour but at the same time they are preparing for the next album "Cheshire", the "Cheshire" promotion started along with the end-year shows and awards, they need also practice for those. Done now they go back to tour, while still on tour they start to prepare for "Kill My Doubt". According to Ryujin, they also worked on their solos which was on "Born To Be" album. Back to "Kill My Doubt", promotions starts, chances are they are already preparing for "Born To Be". The end-year shows starts, they have to practice for these again while preparing their 7th mini album "Born To Be" and also practice for their 2nd tour under same name. Let's also remember between those are also other stuff like fashion events and photoshoots and content.

If you deep thinking about it, it's crazy like they don't know what's vacation anymore. Tour started on the 24th and 25th, they went to paris on the 26th, show was on the 28th, left paris 29th, made back to the SK on the 1st, now it's 2nd and they are leaving to China and they probably come back to SK on the 4th since the fansign is tomorrow, on the 3rd. The next show is on the 16th, there can be alot of stuff happening before the next show and as far girls haven't gotten rest. It's crazy! I'm scared for them. i hope they don't collapse.

This the reason why Lia is on hiatus. Their schedule is so tight like when are they allowed to rest?! Girls haven't gotten proper rest since 2022 it's insane.

RENEW CONTRACT

I do not believe they are going to renew it. Again before you be "you basically want them disband". Yes but in a good way! I want to them leave this company to get this freedom from performing all the time. They mistreatment and overwork has shown that this contract will be not renewed. as much i love them, i only want good for them. I bet girls are also fully aware but they can't say anything.

If you have been GOT7 fan or are or have heard of them then you probably know they were also under Div2. They disbanded in 2021 but i heard they left company with the name, meaning they are still a group but under other company (feel free to correct me). Now stop reading and think why they left.............................figure it out? If no then the reason why they left was because of mistreatment and overworking. Remember they were also under Div2. What ITZY is receiving is what people call "The GOT7 Treatment".

It's not bad if you wish ITZY to renew their contracts in 2026 but you will be wishing continuation of their mistreatment and overworking. Remember they can't do anything but just accept the orders what they get. Also just add the promotions has gone worse and company doesn't buy ads for the music videos. The ads what you saw was fan bought.

OVERALL

I have meant to make this post for quiet while but i didn't feel like it until now when i saw they have flight to China like it was only 14 hours since they arrived back to SK. It's sad! The company or div2 haven't let them rest properly. Ending one tour to jump to other tour was useless. People also have wished to whole group to go little break while Lia is and i agree 100%. Or let the girls do individual stuff until Lia is back and do group stuff again. But what's the point if that is div2. I feel they rushed to make the 2nd world tour happen because they know they are not gonna renew their contracts so they rush ITZY do stuff since they have 2 years left but idk.

Just adding the Japanese releases too, they have to prepare for those too and probably there is one already working and will be releasing before their Japan shows which will be in May (I don't confirm anything, i'm just saying). And probably the next album is already works too. The rest probably never gonna happen for girls because of this shit ass company. Fuck Div2. Fuck JYP Entertainment.

this posts gonna be very different from what ive usually posted (as in not undertale or homestuck), bear with me. its also a kind of long but not super long minecraft rant,

normally i enjoy phoenixsc videos but honestly his latest video just kinda...spilled some stuff over for me. specifically when he and fundy were talking about the armadillo and said "wolves arent useful so why did people vote for them"

and like...can we. as a minecraft community. PLEASE stop saying that because the answers RIGHT there. wolf armor. people voted for armadillo for the wolf armor so that wolves can start to BE useful. genuinely how can people say that and still be blind to it. (plus its a cute mob which honestly is all the reason some people need, and thats fine)

quick opinion: NONE of the mobs in last years vote were really "useful" which is fine. penguins speeding up boats is fun in niche scenarios but not widely useful. increased block reach is actually way less requested or necessary than people claim, itd also only really show up in niche situations realistically. wolf armor, though, sure, not a lot of people use wolves for combat, and its not gonna convince people, but out of all 3 options, wolf armor has actually been a long requested feature (not super loudly but still been around) and really does feel like a long time coming. its STILL only good in the niche situations people bring their wolves to combat, but to me it was that long time coming aspect that sold me on them (i wouldve been fine with any of them winning though. yes even penguins.)

as for the shark thing, yes i agree mojang absolutely has a weird double standard with realism, and thats a good point of criticism when not being hostile about it but with fireflies i still think what happened with them is they were way too built around frogs to be added without the interaction. maybe they were entities that depended on frogs to keep the count in check, maybe mojang wanted to give them a new use and havent thought of anything, but either way i dont think theyre gone forever, mojang just needed to reconsider what theyre there for and are waiting for a good thematic opportunity (extra disclaimer that i dont know this for sure, im only speculating)

idk just in general ive been fed up with minecraft negativity for years, and i hate seeing a youtuber i normally enjoy end up causing that to overflow just a little bit more. i could make an entire separate rant post about people unfairly treating glowsquids, theres videos that talk about the "mojang is lazy" stuff far better than i ever could, etc etc

but just...can we love this game again. please. can people stop claiming to love this game only to immediately turn around and tear the game to shreds at the earliest opportunity. the game is still fun (even if i dont play it nearly as often as id like) but discussion about the game outside of friend groups seems to NEVER be enjoyable anymore and that sucks.

"minecraft is dying" and its loud parts of the community thats causing it, not mojang. thats the best way i can sum up my thoughts on all of this.

anyway you can go back to your regularly scheduled timeline i just needed to scream at the void about this, i dont care whether or not anyone sees this just as long as its off my chest
