Part 21 of "I'm trying so hard to hate you."

You guys are only getting a few more happy fluff parts bc its boutta be a whole new world of angst and a side of "do you really love me?" lolll

TW: talk about being overweight/ Aziraphale having insecurities about his body.

Crowley pov

We lay there for what felt like hours, just holding onto each other. Whispering the most random things into each other's ears, just having full on conversation. But then Aziraphale stopped abruptly and turned over and picked me up bridal style.

"Wh'ot are you doing?!" I asked while laughing.

"We're taking a bath" He said while carrying me in there.

'Why? We can just miracle oursl'ves clean!"

"I know we can but, in a few days we might not be able to, you know?"

I understood his feeling, so I nodded and let him carry me.

After we got the water running and both got situated, he had put bubbles in there to make it calmer, he said somthing ab' t er... laveder? Oh n'vermind he meant lavender.

He wasn't lying either because I almost fell asleep.

But then the little shit splashed water towards me.

"Oops" He said, but I could see him holding back a laugh.

"Oh you little shit!" I yelled while starting to splash bubbles back at him.

So yep there you have it, here we were, 2 grown men having a bubble bath and splashing water around as if we were children.

After about 4 minutes of doing that, we were both worn out, and decided to dry off and head to bed, seeing as I was pretty late already.

We both took the time to get some pants on, not bothering with a shirt, I was the first to flop onto the bed.

I waited for 5 minutes and Aziraphale was still in the bathroom, I stood up and softly knocked on the door.

"You al'rght?" I asked.

"Hm? Oh yes, jolly good. Just was getting lost in my own thoughts. I'll be out in a minute dear."

I could tell something was wrong by just hearing his tone of voice. SO I opened the door to see him standing in the mirror and tears running down his face.

"Aziraphale.."

He looked at me surprised and started to dry his face off, and play it off as nothing.

"Hey, hey whats wrong?" I asked, knowing he could see the worry on my face.

"It's nthing." He said, sniffling

"Its definitely something"

I walked over and tried to give him a hug but he took a step back. I was confused for a moment but then I saw it.

He was covering his stomach. I looked down and looked back up at him.

"You're beautif-"

"M' not. Im fat. My body doesn't look like most people. " He said, sounding convinced.

"You're not fat, you're beautiful and I mean it. I'm not just saying that because I love you, I'm saying it because it's true!''

I took a step forward and this time he didn't back away. I embraced him, putting my face into the side of his neck.

"I love you." I said.

"I love you too."

Today Crowley attempted to make Aziraphale sushi, but no amount of miracles could make the rice the correct amount of sticky. He tried to order them takeaway instead, but Aziraphale insisted on eating the messy rolls. He told Crowley that it was the best sushi he had ever had, and it was the truth.
