Adam's birthday weekend was such great fun! I even managed to find him a #birthdaycake on @olio.app 😁 We went #alpacawalking, did VR Zombie fighting, and went to a great pub. We've seen so many awesome friends and had a blast having our first house guest in ages! I've still managed to stick to #FreeganFebruary for everything except booze. I decided that it's a bit rude to be in a bar for several hours only ordering water, plus I wanted to have a few drinks with friends. 🤷‍♀️ I don't feel bad about it. #freegan Food highlights of the weekend were - 🍕 Eating friends' leftover pizza crusts and dips for dinner at the pub - I actually couldn't eat them all! 🥔 A friend bringing over bags of my favourite crisps that the kids she works with refused to eat 🎂 Birthday cake There are only 8 days left of February and I am 100% confident that I will eat well each day. Our first Shepherd Hut we built named our Hebridean Shepherd Hut, after our own Hebridean sheep which you may see on your visit with us. @springwoodshepherd As you open the main door you are welcomed by a fully equipped kitchen, breakfast bar with stools. Storage cupboard for hanging clothes. To the left of the door is you own bathroom facilities with a mains shower and to the right of the door is the king size bed with storage drawers. We have added a sofa at the end of the bed to sit by the log burner or to enjoy some satellite TV 📺 The hut has underfloor heating and you will never be cold staying in on of our Shepherd Huts. Die Wilhelma beherbergt eine kleine Alpakaherde mit zehn bis 20 Tieren. Sie leben in einem großen Freigehege in Gemeinschaft mit weiteren Tierarten. Maras, die auch Pampashasen heißen, gehören zur Unterfamilie der Meerschweinchen und sind Nagetiere mit langen schlanken Beinen.⁣ ⁣ On the following photos you can see alpacas and maras. A pet form of the small camels are the alpacas, which were already bred by the Incas for the production of wool. Wilhelma accommodates a small herd of alpacas with ten to 20 animals. They live in a large open-air enclosure in community with other animal species.
