A/n: This was inspired by Blue beetle since i was reading some fanfics about someone. Since he had a scarab, i thought on what will those two react when they found out you have an scarab at your back.

At first, Midoriya thought your quirk was super strength or something since you didn’t look different and cool like Mina. 

But little cute Midoriya was shooked when you said you have no quirk. Like, he didn’t mean that you can’t be here. It’s just confusing on someone that doesn’t have a quirk can be in the recommendations.  

In breaks, he was the first one who talked to you. Like:

“H-hello i’m Izuku Midoriya! Uh s-so, Can i ask you questions?!” He stuttered, furiously blushing. You were just so cute! You chuckled.

‘Izuku Midoriya’s heart rate is fast.’ Your scarab informed you, but you chose to ignore them.

“Hi i’m Y/n L/n. Nice to meet you! And sure, you can ask some questions.” You looked at the boy grabbing his old notebook.

His questions weren’t the ones you thought. You thought it was going to be simple and easy but it was different and more about your power. 

“Is your strength your quirk?” “What’s your quirk?” “What’s your name?” “Where do you live?” “Can you tell me more about your quirk?” And so on so forth. It made you feel like you were in an interview.

‘He is asking to many questions. We must eliminate him.’ Your scarab told you while making you wear your armor. 

You cursed under your breath, hiding the gauntlet your scarab made you wear. “No!” You shouted. You realized what you did and apologized to them. You swore you heard someone say “Psh, what a weirdo.” but decided to ignore it.

Finally, your scarab finally stopped. 

“I-i’m sorry, did i annoy y-you?” He looked at you worried and apologetic in his actions. 

“Ah no, you didn’t. I’m sorry, my scarab tried to-” Then you quiet down. ‘The boy knows now, We must eliminate him immediately!’ Your scarab shouted, quite pissed. “No, he’s my friend.” You whispered to them. 

‘Lies.’ Your scarab hissed. Midoriya looked at you talking to yourself. “Who are you talking to.....? Only if your willing to answer of course!” 

‘Don’t tell him.’ Your scarab warned, but you ignored them once again. 

“I’m talking to my scarab.” You answered. “Scarab?” He repeated, writing the word in his notebook. ‘Great, now he must die.’ “No, he won’t die.” You told you scarab, getting annoyed with the killing thing. 

“Where’s your scarab? Are they here somewhere? Are they a ghost?” His question made him look around, making you snort. 

“No, their not a ghost.” 

“Then where are they?” 

‘Y/n L/n, Don’t. you. Dare.’ Your scarab warned. You playfully rolled your eyes. What wrong would happen? 

“Let me show you later in my dorm room, okay? I can’t show you here.” He felt himself blush at your words. But eagerly nodded just to know you and your quirk power better.

In the dorms...

‘This is a bad idea, Y/n L/n. What if he turns bad? We must eliminate him!’ 

“Yeah yeah, we will eliminate him when he turns bad!” You joked. Your scarab sighed. ‘This is not a joke Y/-’ 

You heard a knock at the door and you happily opened it to see Midoriya with his notebook you saw earlier at school. 

“H-hey! U-uuhm. Uh....” He blushed while he looks around your dorm room. It looks so cute and cool! You had a f/c wall. With some designs everywhere. 

He haven’t been into a girl’s dorm room before so it was probably his first time seeing one. 

‘His heart beat is faster than before.’ Your scarab told you. 

You sat down on your bed and patted the space beside you for Midoriya to sit down. 

He hesitantly walked and sat beside you.

“Uhm... So i have been searching for a ‘scarab’ but i have no information on it.... C-can i please know about it?” He asks you, looking at his notebook instead of you. 

You told him about your scarab while your scarab keeps telling you that it was not a great idea on telling others about your power you hold. So you made a deal with Midoriya. You tell him about your scarab. He tells both you and your scarab his quirk. 

He thought about it and agreed. 

After some questions, answers and some murmurs from him while you were talking. You just pushed it off and though it was just a habit of his.

The scarab silenced themselves into listening to your conversations. 

“Uh so, where is the scarab?” He asks. Writing the last sentence. 

Your face turned red. ‘Oh.. Right.’ You cursed him for remembering under your breath.

‘Your heartbeat and your blood pressure is rising. He is affecting you.’ Your scarab informed you, “It’s fine.” You muttered. Your scarab didn’t answer but you knew they knew that your lying. They always do.

“You want to know?” You ask, looking away.

“Yes..?” He answered almost immediately.

“You sure?” You asked again, wishing that he changed his mind. But to your dismay, he nodded.

Your back faced him as he looks at you confused. When he saw you lift up your shirt. “NO no! I just want to see our scarab!” He looks away, furiously blushing. 

You sighed and lift it more until your scarab was visible to him. 

He looks fascinated and started to scribble in his notebook. Completely forgetting your bare skin at your back.

You both didn’t talk about it for a long time but you both became friends.

He was surprised he saw a quirkless wannabe in UA. And in the class 1A. Not only that, you were beside him!

People warmly welcomed you and you immediately warmed up to them. 

‘Y/n L/n. I advise you to not ‘warm up’ to them. They might be traitors.’ Your scarab warned. 

“It’s fine, they look nice.” You smiled at your classmates around you.

Now not only you’re quirkless and annoying, you’re also weird. Talking to yourself freely even no one was talking to you. 

“Hey weirdo. Who the fuck were you talking to?” He questioned you, eyes bore into yours. 

“None of your business.” You shot. Bakugo was going to blast you but the teacher came. 

After the class, it was time for training and he challenged you on fighting him. With your ‘quirk’. 

You thought of it. Well, it was no quirk. It was a scarab’s power. So you agreed, thinking nothing bad would happen. 

You and him were the first one’s to spar. You went into your f/c armor. Then blasted him with your powerful hand blasts/beams.

He quickly dodges it. “Quite Impressive you got there newbie!” He shouted. Then giving you a blast of his own. You used your shield to protect you.

The others who were watching was fascinated with the power you had. Well to the teachers, they already knew you have a scarab behind you. But they didn’t know about the power it holds. 

The spar lasted for almost an hour. Eating up the time the others will spar. 

Some groaned that they didn’t train. 

But that fight was the best fight he had ever had with the extras he had to call ‘his classmates’. 

He became interested in you and your power. Always following you but he always denies it. 

He talks to you about your quirk. You even spar with Kirishima and Bakugo almost everyday after that. 

You can say that you were the only person he respects and calls a friend except for the Bakusquad.
