Going off the Ingo and Emmet had a big fight before Ingo gets ebbie debbied.
I can only imagine how Spice would feel about this. Like they try to psychologically torment Ingo who only as fragments of memories, at best, of who he was and the people in his life. Spice fails, ends up being the warden's partner, and worst of all ends up having an emotional attachment with this man. Spice won't admit it, but he's come to like the strange human.
Fast forward and Ingo get undebbied from the past. Spice and the other pokemon follow cause they care deeply for Ingo and don't want him to be on his own like he was in Hisui. A wacky adventure begins and everything really looks hopeful from here on out.
And then they find Emmet and then it all goes south. Spice (in his Zoroark form) and the rest wait out as the brothers talk, until they can hear yelling. They hear the slamming of a door open and see Ingo yelling at Emmet to just listen to him, but before he can finish Emmet pushes Ingo to the ground.
All hell breaks loose. The other pokemon react but Spice is faster. He gets in-between Emmet and Ingo putting some space between the two, and while facing Emmet, he transforms. Emmet now faces himself but this him is not smiling and his eyes are full of scorn.
Emmet's Psychological Torture 2: Electric Boogaloo. This time with intent to kill
Ougggh... good food

I've just realized what I need most from this season - it isn't an apology (from Ed and/or Izzy) or an earnest talk-it-through like I previously thought I wanted.
What I need is Ed realizing that he needs both Stede and Izzy in his life.
After all the heartbreak, I think it is so important that both of them know that the life they shared for so many years wasn't just a weight pulling both of them under.
I want Ed to realize that there are parts of Izzy's izzyness and their day-to-day life that are parts of who Ed is, and that there's something missing without him. I'd like Ed to (re-)learn that there are certain things which are just more fun with Izzy, or things he likes to share specifically with him because Izzy gets it.
At the end of this season, I need Ed to realize that while Stede makes him happy, to be truly happy and fulfilled he needs Izzy too.

Merry Christmas to @transientday/@nerv0usm3chanic!!!
After participating in the MSA Holiday Secret Santa event for so many years, I was SO ECSTATIC to find out I FINALLY got you as my Secret Santa! I've been wanting to spoil you with some graphic goodies!!
First up is a Lucan/Vivi aesthetic board because I love those two so so much!! The punk vibes are immaculate and I had tons of fun finding pictures that matched the energy of our two chaotic muses!!
Second is a thematic promo card for the boys' blog! I tried making it look like an old, rusted sign you'd see hanging up in a junkyard, or those old local mechanic signs you find in very small, Southern towns. It was SO much fun getting to make this one and mess around with texture brushes!
I hope you like your gifts!! They were so much fun to make!! Have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year, Transient!! Love you lots <3 <3!!

"Now the water is around my ankles, and will be lapping at my shins before I reach the island. The path underfoot is hidden by shifting waters and dancing moonlight, forcing me to move slow, feel out the route. Bryock is at my side. The rest of the goats walk behind me in a silent train. I see the littluns bracing against each brush of water, but all stay quiet.
Baz makes a sharp hiss of breath against my ear and pushes his heels into my stomach, like I’m a horse he’s saddled. It’s demanding, but not panicked.
“Should I sing more?” I ask. I feel him nod. I take a breath before I nervously launch into my final verse."
- What Remains After The Storm, Ch. 9 Refuge
---
THIS PIECE WAS SOOOO DEMANDING! but only because I made it difficult, because *I'm such an overachiever, and I tried new techniques*, but oh boy. Saltrock watercolor painting is such a mess in a good and unhinged way. I hope the sky and sea turned out ok!!
The goats, well... Im not that happy with them, but I think overall the piece works. What do you think?
@hushed-chorus is such a love and has been the biggest cheerleader in the making of these pieces! Means the world to me to be able to create this pieces and challenge myself with them. Thank you for your patience, Demi!! <3 I truly love what we are creating!
Please check WRATS here!! don't miss the best merman/goatboy story ever! In MERMAY!

2022 was by far the most prolific year of writing fanfic I’ve had in the decade I’ve been doing this. 252k words published in fact, and 212k of that was Fexi fic. I owe a big thank you to all of you who’ve read and reblogged and commented on my fic this year, who’ve encouraged me and held my hand during moments of self doubt. I’m eternally grateful. 🖤

well the nice thing about having had a life changing codependent relationship for most of my life is that whenever something bad is going on I can always switch my brain over to feeling bad about that instead
like it’s gonna feel bad either way but I’d much rather be in ‘mourning the loss of a dear friend’ mode than ‘my entire life is falling apart’ mode y’know

For all of my Dreamling friendo's imagine our boy Hob Gadling, dressed in Jaskiers clothing, lute in hand singing this little beauty
I don't know if you'll arrive, how surprising
I've kept on surviving, what more can I do?
Thought these meetings bought you glee
Oh, my stranger, look at me
Now I'll miss reminiscing with you
These many hundred years that I've thrived
How you'd sat with just me at your side
I thought you had cared
'Bout my grin and my stupid hair
Watch me cry, reliving these meetings with you
Ladies and gentlemen, you have been the most beautiful audience
Remember to watch The Sandman if you can
Anyone needs Hob, he'll be brooding at the bar
Where have you gone?
I don't know if you'll return
With everything I said, you saw
You stormed right out on me
Oh, where've you gone?
I have grown most fond
At the end of my time once I'm through
No word that I can think of rings quite as true as "fond!"
Fond, stranger fond
I'm fond, stranger
Fond, fond, fond, fond, fond, fond, fond
I'll admit. I'm so very fond of you

Hello! I just finished watching sab having not read any of the books (I tried the first sab book a few years ago and didn't vibe) and I'm thinking of reading soc bc I loved those characters in the show but got the impression that their stories were super rushed (like Jesper and Wylan? I love them dgmw but there was no build up whatsoever) and I wanna experience them properly. Anyway I'm just wondering how the books work so I can figure out what I should read, like are the crow plotlines in the show the same as what's in the soc books or the sab books? Are the sab books just purely Alina & co and soc is Kaz & co and the show merged the two series together?
hi! no, no, your right, both the sab and the soc stuff was rather rushed in the show. there is so much more to all these characters, the crows included. the two book series—i.e. the grisha trilogy (tgt) and the six of crow duology (soc)—are separate series with minimal overlap. tgt is just alina & co while soc takes place after the events of tgt and includes character cameos from tgt characters but otherwise has nothing to do with that story. the main soc storyline is pretty much its own thing and has nothing to do with the show’s plot either. however, sab did prematurely integrate some minor and major plotlines of the soc books, particularly in the current season. so you might recognise some scenes/arcs when reading the books. it should feel different enough though, since the context is completely different as well. you also don't need to have any reservations about reading soc without having read tgt. while i recommend tgt as well, i and many others read soc before giving tgt a shot. and you're already familiar with the world through the show, so you'll have no issues understanding the world. ngl i am very happy you want to experience these characters properly—it's what they deserve!! PLEASE let me know what you think about the books!! i am very excited to hear your thoughts on them!
