I'm back with a new xmas ornament abno plush! This one actually had most of its parts completed back in August (i had to make a lot of legs, this guy has 14) but then uni started again and that coupled itself with my crocheting burnout.

I decided to get this one done today.

Warm-hearted Woodsman is next, he's more done than not, but it will take more tike to get back into the groove.

Forget Me Not is a ZAYIN level abnormality that causes others to have hallucinations about it's appearance. If one were to look at Forget Me Not they would perceive a human being that they would find physically attractive (usually weeping and wearing a bridal dress) - however, after receiving a marriage proposal by Forget Me Not this effect is lifted, making it possible to perceive it's true form of an insect humanoid. If you switch the employee working with it after lifting it's effect FMN will weep inside of the containment cell, dealing mild WHITE damage to the next employee it will meet. The Sun Queen is an ALEPH level abnormality in the form of a very tall humanoid that radiates light. The Sun Queen requires an exponentially increasing number of employees to pray to her light - Every 5 days requires 1 more employee. Praying employees will passively gain HP and SP for the rest of the day. Failure to adhere to this rule will cause The Sun Queen to teleport the sun into a random room of the facility right before the energy is collected, instakilling all employees within it. The Sun Queen is a guaranteed breach the following day, during which she will teleport more instakilling suns around the facility but not harm employees with direct attacks. The Sun Queen offers HP and SP healing in her vicinity and may even join in suppressing other abnormalities. It is adviced to not let her breach at the same time as The Shadowlord.

My First Time Playing Lob Corp In 10 Months

So I was bored and just remembered that Lob Corp exists, and I decided, “hey, why not play it?” Here’s how it went.

For some quick context:

This is my second run of the game.

I’m on Day 23, and the newest Abnormalities are Porccubus and CENSORED.

I was also supposed to do Yesod’s suppression today (actually my first time doing his suppression because last run I thought it was a good idea to skip them for some reason… then Day 46 happened, and well, now you know why it’s my second run) but I am NOT dealing with all that at the same time.

Every one of my employees (except for one of the day’s new recruits, Destiny) has WAW or higher EGO.

So funnily enough, things went wrong as soon as I loaded the game. If you wanna know how my train of thought went:

“So everything seems good here- wait, I didn’t get The Little Prince’s info? Huh. That’s weird, but I suppose it’s one more thing for me to do today… wait hold on, why’s there a mystery Abno in Information? Which one’s this?-“

“MANJIJI MAAAAAA-“

“…Oh. Right.”

So anyways, I got Don’t Touch Me’s information. The day already got started, and I already maxed out a mystery abno’s information! That’s progress, at least!

Or at least, I thought it was progress, because not even five minutes after starting the day, Singing Machine ate one of my best employees, and one of my other best employees went crazy and let out CENSORED just 20 seconds after starting the work process.

So… yay, progress!

All in all, the next reset went rather well. One of my employees even got The Little Prince’s EGO gift. So, when I reset, I was hoping to get a good Temperance trainer to help my other employees in Central Command work with Porcubbus… and what did I end up getting instead?

FUCKING. NOTHING. THERE.

As stated earlier, this is my second run. And to me, taking Abnos I’ve already picked in the previous one isn’t an option (except that one time I was offered Plague Doctor and took Child of the Galaxy, and when the only options are ones I’ve already picked).

So when Nothing There pops on-screen, of course I don’t wanna pick it… but I do. As far as ALEPHs go, Nothing There’s pretty tame when you get down to it. I at least remember that it’s like Blue Star but associated with Fortitude and Justice instead of Prudence and Temperance, and I’ve dealt with Blue Star before! It was my first ALEPH!

But just to refresh myself, I look up the rules of how Nothing There works. You need an employee with Level VI Fortitude and Justice… of which, I have two, neither of which are anywhere near Briah.

Yeah… turns out I don’t have many Justice trainers.

So I decide to put one of my ALEPH employees, Olive, on it. Despite not being my main employee for new Abnos, given her stats and the fact she has Smile, she might actually be my best employee at this point.

Anyways, the next day went pretty much like the previous one except there was a fourth Abnormality. Things went well, and I got a great amount of progress on EGO and Nothing There’s info.

And then Cheers of the Beginning happened and CENSORED broke out, forcing me to pretty much instantly reset because I’m not dealing with that shit.

Anyways, that was the events of my first time playing Lob Corp in like 10 months! I’ll take a break for now, retry sometime soon, and hopefully I’ll be able to get to Yesod’s suppression a little while after that!

Schadenfreude is such a fucked up abnormality in terms of appearance. There are FAR worse, yes, but all those disgusting, organ-filled, corpse-laden abnormalities are sanitized into less disgusting little guys by the cognition filter (and the limitations of the art style) and then Schadenfreude's out here being the most special boy and doing the polar opposite as the most photo-realistic thing you'll see in this whole series

GOOD NIGHT, PANTHER is a HE level abnormality in the form of a constantly wounded and bleeding panther with a swirly tail. Employees with a Justice level under 3 will become hypnotized looking at it's tail and get the irresistible urge to start hunting the PANTHER. If the Panther is being hunted it will power up and begin targeting the nearest employee, fearful of being harmed itself. Tentacle House is a WAW level abnormality in the form of tentacles burrowed within the ground. The tentacle house will speak to employees and show them visions of a supposed alternate dimension of their ideal life within its tentacles. If the employee works with Tentacle house for a certain set amount of time it will allow the Tentacle House to take it to the dimension, leading to the body being dragged to the roots of the Tentacle house and their head being kept in the midst of the tentacle arms. It is suspected that the disembodied head will be made to hallucinate living through their perfect life. The shadowlord is an ALEPH level abnormality in the form of a humanoid cloaked figure with horns. The shadowlord demands an employee being designated as its personal servant, who will get heavy protective buffs. If the Shadowlord does not see its servant for too long it will break out and turn off the lights of the facility, draining its energy every minute, and beam attacks to random places. The shadowlord can ONLY be suppressed by the servant or F-03-658, the sun queen. Avoid having the shadowlord and the sun queen meet at all costs.
