PERFECT LIFE
Haseena pov
"Baby girl...... Aapko apne table pe Jake kaam karna chahiye" I said the 3rd time in the last 2 hours.
" Mommy bass 5 min aur" she said while concentrating in files. I know her, once I start looking at my files, she will again make her focus on my face. It's been almost 3 years, we both are married, still there are some days In karu's life when she becomes extra whiny and very very needy. I believe those days are going to start. It's not like I hate that part of her, but itna bhi nhi karna chahiye.
Here she comes.
I closed my eyes not in mood of any fight again. I don't know what's her problem, she just wants reason to start a fight.
"AJ kl ki ladkiyon ko toh pta nhi kya ho gya hai, pyaar ke naam pe kya kya karti hai....
Pta nhi kis boore waqte tumhe Haan bol Diya hamare toh bhag hi photo gye" she said
I didn't responded, I saw my baby getting angry, I have to stop her
"Maddam sir !!"
"Ammmaaa !!"
"Karuuu !!"
"Ek sec mommy" she mouthed last word and turned to ps
"Amma aapko samj nhi atta, kitni baar bolle inhe tang mat Kiya kijia woh senior hai, ek min Mai line hazar kar dege aur ham bhi senior hai, ye aapki Bahu baad mai hai pehle hamari wife hai, so stay away from her. Abhi jao field duty pe. Abhi !!" She exploded
Once ps was gone, she ran in my arms and sat on my lap.
"Mommy aapka mood toh kharab nhi hua na ?" She asked
I smiled at her being soo cute, "no love, I am not and u too should control yourself. She is your mom"
"But u are my mommy" she whined
I kissed her nose.
She remained in my lap.
"Kya baat hai !! samundar Mai paani khatam ho sakta hai, dharti par hawa khatam ho sakti hai par tum donno ka romance kabhi khatm nhi ho sakta " mishri said while entering.
" Arre mishri, aao baitho" I said, ks remained in same position not even turned to see her.
" Iss shehar mai 4 thanne hai bakki teeno Mai jao toh dsp mam ki aise sewa karte hai jaise bhagwan ke baad ham hi hai aur ek tum log ho, na koi Jai hind na koi respect"
She said.
" Hamara mood kaafi acha hai issi liye itni baat karli warna abhi Tak kapde faad ke bahr fek Diya hota isse jada kya respect de" ks said while remaining in same position.
" Acha ji ? " Mishri ran and picked ks in her arms, ks hugged her tightly and wrapped herself like koala.
" Mishri Aaj kaafi khush lag rahi ho kya hua? " I asked
" Kahe na ho, hamari 2 best friends mission ke liye Shimla Jaa Rahi hai, aur hamme bhut saare gifts Milne walle hai unke trip se" she said.
Ks excitedly looked at her, " sachi ?"
"Yess my love" she said
Ks kissed her face.
"Thq thq thq thq thq " she is extremely happy.

At night, While packing
Ps entered in room with ks being behind her.
"Tum donno kha ja Rahi ho ?"
I was about to speak when karu cut me off
" Aapse dur, aisi jagah jha aap nhi pahunch sakti"
" Kyuuuu hamne kya kiya ?"
" Shadi ke baad siraf ladki aapne sasural aati hai maa ko aapne Ghar hi rehna chahiye"
" Karruuu stop !! Amma hum mission par Jaa rahe hai"
" Mission sach Mai hai yah bass bahana hai"
" Aaj dsp mam aaye Thai thane Mai wahi bta ke gye" I said
" Ham bhi chale ge"
" Nhi aap nhi jayegi, aap thana sambhale gi" mishri came and said while back hugging me.
" Ji there hai mam, par hamko ye cheez achi nhi lagti ki hamare Ghar ki chabi hamare ilawa kissi ke paas ho" ps said
" Amma woh hamari room mate thi aur hamari best friend bhi, usko har cheez pta hai hamare baarre mai" ks said while sitting on bed.
" Theek hai, par ..... " She was about to say
" Amma jao aapka sonne ka time ho gya, jao jao jao" ks said
Ps went while blabering some things in her mouth.
" Packing ho gyi ? " Mp asked
" Karu ki hogyi hamari chal rahi hai" I responded while finding my clothes
" Well done karu ye haseena shuru se hi bhut time leti hai packing ke liye" she said
" Time iss liye lag rha hai kyuki karu baby ka packing karne ka Mann nhi tha, so pehle baby ke kapde pack kiye aur aab apne" I said
" Karu baby tab Tak plane ki tickets hi book kar do"
" Kya ?? "

Both looked at me shocked
" Kya hua ? "
" Plane se nhi car se jaayege ham"
" Aur itni der car kaun chalega ? "I asked
" Dono chalalege, but jaayege car se"
"But baby hamari car ki toh service bhi nhi hui, itne lambe route pe..."
"Kisne bolla tum apni gaadi se jaoge" mp said
"Neeche dekho kya cheez laaye hai aapne mamaji se "
Ks went to balconi to see
" Kya baat hai mishri pehli baar koi dhang ka kaam kiya" ks said while hugging her" Chalo ham chalte hai, bass gaddi Dene aaye Thai" mp said" Karru ek min bahr janna" I said, ks wentI pinned mp to wall" Kya hua hai ? "" Matlab ? "" Dekho itni Shar...
" Kya baat hai mishri pehli baar koi dhang ka kaam kiya" ks said while hugging her
" Chalo ham chalte hai, bass gaddi Dene aaye Thai" mp said
" Karru ek min bahr janna" I said, ks went
I pinned mp to wall
" Kya hua hai ? "
" Matlab ? "
" Dekho itni Shareef toh tum ho nhi, aur hamara mood nhi hai jada behs ka seedha seedha bollo kya chal rha hai tumare dimaag Mai" i said while glaring mp
" Yrr kooch drugs aur illegal samaan aa rha hai mamaji ke liye, jab Tak tum log aaoge saaf karwa dugi but unke liye kaafi baddi deal hai. issi liye bass tum donno ko nikal rahe hai yha se, agar kooch gadbad hui toh tum donno safe hoge aur karu ka toh ham donno ko pta hai, usse pta chala toh pta nhi kya karegi, woh log kaafi khatarnaak hai aur karu ko ye cheez samj nhi aati, ye police department ideal nhi hai" mp said worringly
" Theek hai aur tum bhi inn se dur rehna" I said while cupping her face.
" Kay"

in morning
in morning
aaj bhut dinno baad araam se good morning hui hai. I love these moments when amma is not screaming to get up, just me and karu. i saw karu in my arms, sunlight was making her face glow, i tapped my phone screen and tapped the button of remote making curtains to be aside, and sunlight to enter making whole room glow, espacially her face.
Karu whined at this, "mommy........"
"bacha uthne ka time ho gya, utho........... we have to go , challo jaldi jaldi utho" i said
"mommy............ thodi der aur" and she hid her face in my chest.
I stood up and put her on my hip, "babbyy......"
ks still closed her eyes, went to by back and wrapped her arms and legs with my body and kept her head on my back and slept again.
I did my brush and then packed food. further put bags in car and started shower still having karu on my back, I can't believe how she can sleep while i am moving. just imagine having a moving bed. Its only a skill which my baby can have.
"bubba utho, chalo bhut ho gyi neend" i said
"mommy udhar chalo mereko brush lenna hai"
"apne aap chale jao naaa.... utro"
"nhi meko aise bhut mazza aa rha hai"
"okay challo"
she took brush and started doing it while I was thinking of anything which is left to pack, I went in bedroom and took both of our phones to charging, then i started doing sheets when karu tapped my back.
I took her to bathroom again and she washed her face but to do this instead of removing herself from my back, she made me kneel.
"mommy, let's have shower" she said
I took her to tub, she jumped from my back
"mommy, now u relax in tub, I will do everything." she said
"okay love"
karishma pov
I made mommy to lay in the tub after removing all her clothes while i took the fragrance soap lotion with a scrub. I started from broad shoulder, her strong biceps and triceps, her arms, her fingers, her neck, her breast, her back, her waist, her lower part, her inner thighs with some teasing, then her strong thighs, her calf, her ankle and at last her feet. I washed her completely, and then washed myself. Once I was done with my work, I dried her body and made her sit without clothes in front of mirror. First I took, soft jasmine perfume and applied it on her neck and breast part, next I took sandalwood perfume and applied on tummy and waist part. Next I took a strong whisky flavored perfume and applied on her lower part. Last thing, I took a saffron perfume and applied on her hairs and tied it into braid.
after an hour we both are ready to go
Mommy was locking the door, when she asked me to go in car, I went and sat at other seat and opened the car cabinet in front of me, I saw a box with letter kept on it. I saw that, and saw
To karu baby❤️
Babes this is the box having key of my farmhouse, in shimla. There is no mission, the person you are going to arrest in shimla is not in shimla, he is in my lockup. Don't worry no one is gonna make you trouble. If it happens, I will be there to take care. I have seen stress on hasu's face. She is very stressed because of work. Calm her as much as you can and most important thing, have fun. Once u read this, text me hi on WhatsApp, I will send you location of farmhouse. Now have a smiley on your face and bring all the stuff of my shopping list.
I smiled after reading it. I know she love both of us very much. We both too love her. She was my roomate in college and hassu's roommate while training. Because of her we both met. She is very cutie, and always want both of us to be happy.
We both were on our way, when mommy took the car to the jungle side, I didn't bother much, why to have any tension when you have THE HASEENA MALIK as your mommy. I kept my head in her lap and laid myself sideways, she kept her hand on my head and started playing with my hairs.
"Baby firse Sona hai ?"
"Yss I am tired" I can sense her raising eyebrow with a smile. She pinched my nose and we both giggled.
"Baby u don't even have bed"
"Yhi toh aap galat ho mommy I have u as my prsnl bed😘😘"
I can see her melting face🫠 with awwwwwed face.
Karishma pov
My sleep was disturbed when I realised, mommy picked me up on her hip and carefully caressed my back and shushed me. I hugged her tightly while she entered the house.
"Mommy.....?"
"Yess my love ?"
"Mommy hum kha hai ?"
"It's a house, just beside a waterfall. I took it on rent for next 2 days. After that we will go to our mission. Now just enjoy with me."
" Okay mommy, now just be with me, I don't wanna have any disturbance"
" Sure my love"
We both went upstairs in room.
Sun was setting and through window it was best view
I kissed mommy's face multiple times. "Love u mommy, this is very peaceful view"
"I am happy to know u loved this."
She dropped me on bed and crawled on my body, I was laying on my back and was looking up at mommy with such a hot face. She looked at my neck and attacked on it. Kissing it, biting it, sucking it. Made it red and at last gave a small peck. This whole happened on whole neck.
I love when mom is not with us, mommy can do whatever she want and I too have no worries of hiding my hickeys. I saw mommy smiling at the work she did.
I moved up and kissed mommy's lips.

"Erectile brokenness drug Viagra might deteriorate aortic aneurysm"
Viagra (fixing: sildenafil) may demolish stomach aortic aneurysms, a review has found.
A stomach aortic aneurysm is a peculiarity wherein a piece of the stomach aorta, the part where blood from the heart goes through the midsection, loses flexibility and becomes more slender, and expands like an inflatable.
A group of specialists from the Aab Cardiovascular Research Institute at the University of Rochester, USA, has distributed results from a mouse concentrated on demonstrating the way that Viagra can demolish stomach aortic aneurysms (EurekAlert) investigated the sixth.
Sildenafil, the primary part of 비아그라 정품, restrains the action of phosphodiesterase 5 (PDE5), a catalyst that agreements the smooth muscle of veins. said.
To begin with, the group precisely prompted little stomach aortic aneurysms in a gathering of mice.
The examination group partitioned the mice with a stomach aortic aneurysm 7 days after the medical procedure into two gatherings and regulated sildenafil weakened in water (comparable to 60 to 100 mg) to only one gathering consistently for a long time.
Following a month, the region of the stomach aortic aneurysm was broadened by a normal of 37% in the gathering of mice managed with sildenafil contrasted with the control mice not regulated with sildenafil.
Moreover, the versatile filaments of the stomach aortic aneurysm were debilitated by half.
This proposes that sildenafil bothers the movement of the stomach aortic aneurysm by upsetting the bloodstream control capability of vascular smooth muscle cells, which the exploration group made sense of.
In this manner, men with an aortic aneurysm or at high gamble of an aortic aneurysm might be educated to keep away from successive use regarding 비아그라 정품, the specialists caution.
The aorta comprises three layers, of which the center layer is made out of smooth muscle cells that direct the bloodstream by tightening and loosening up veins. At the point when vascular smooth muscle cells neglect to work, the gamble of an aortic aneurysm increment.
The discoveries are distributed in the most recent issue of the Journal of the American Heart Association.

About a boy (Part-5)
Word count: 2.3K
Warning: Suspense, feels, mention of physical abuse, child-trafficking and bullying
Characters: Dean, Cas, Gabriel, Benny, Michael, OCs and… Sam?
Summary: Dean Winchester has a secret. A secret that could really land him in trouble. He never expected to connect with anyone when he walked into the ‘Blue Stone Orphanage for Boys,’ but even then, the walls he has put up are slowly coming down. Now, a series of strange events are threatening to expose him. When everything starts falling apart around him, will he still be able to save the one person that matters the most?
A/N: I am living for all the comments guys! :’)
All my love to @thing-you-do-with-that-thing and @deanssweetheart23 for beta reading this story. You’re the freaking best!
About a boy masterlist
Tumblr media
“Calculus is the worst!” Will complained
“No one asked you to take advanced Math, you know?” Dean grinned slyly, wishing it wasn’t dark and he could see Will’s look of horror.
The cold metal was biting into the skin of his ankle where it rested against the grill. Will was on the other side as usual, prattling about his day.
“You talk like you’re acing calculus,” he muttered.
“I’m not bad. I get by.” That wasn’t entirely true. Dean was better than most kids in his class.
“Hmmm…” Will mused. “You gotta teach me.”
“What?”
“That’s it!” Will yelped. “I’ll keep looking for this Sam of yours and you can teach me Calculus.”
“It’s not like you’re doing great at finding Sam,” Dean shot out, then bit his tongue immediately. He regretted his words because it wasn’t fair.
But Will sighed, “I know. I’ve been terrible at it. I’m sorry.”
Dean felt guilty in a way he’d barely ever felt before. Will continued. “I’ll try harder. Give me something else to go on. Anything.”
“He has brown hair,” Dean blurted.
“Alright. I’ll scourge thoroughly tomorrow.”
“Okay.”
It had been a couple of weeks now since Will had told Dean his name and almost every night found him by the grill. He was a patient and restful kid. Chirpy and smart. Dean liked him. So much that talking to him after lockdown had become a routine. They hadn’t really accomplished much in the past two weeks.
The constant shuffling was bothersome, but the military attitude and no contact rule was worse. It made Dean sick to his stomach.
“Dean?”
“Yeah?”
“Another kid... left today.”
Dean didn’t have to see Will to picture the terror on his face. His soft, grave voice was enough.
They had never spoken outright about it, but Dean knew that Will was seeing it too, seeing the glaring phenomenon. Both of them knew the word was ‘disappeared’ and not ‘left.’
He didn’t know what Will made of it, but Dean for a fact knew that the kids weren’t being transferred. Not all of them anyway, and he had to find out where they went, and he didn’t have much time left to find it out.
Even though he yearned to tell another soul about what he knew, he didn’t want to risk telling the truth to Will. That would just put him in danger and accomplish nothing for Dean.
So, instead of meaninglessly using words to reassure him, Dean wriggled his fingers, then wrist through the grill and placed it over Will’s knee. Maybe this way he could convey more than words ever could.
Later, as he dragged his feet along the corridor, Dean wondered to himself. It was glaringly obvious that most kids disappeared in that age group. The reason presented itself to him almost immediately. 11-14 was the most gullible age group. Too old to be adopted, but still young enough to be naive. Boys on Dean’s floor were all on the verge of being adults. If they went missing, there would be a hue and cry. Then there was also the matter of Michael and his goons having struck some sort of deal with the management. Dean just didn’t know where Andy was involved in all of this.
“Still sneaking around to meet that kid?”
Dean jerked upright, not having realised that he had already reached his room and was seated on his bunk. Cas’ voice was quiet, but there was an undercurrent to it, one that made Dean feel guilty. Like he’d been caught stealing a cookie from the kitchen at night.
For a second he thought of denying it. Afterall, he had never mentioned about Will to Cas. Then seemed to think better of it.
“Cas, I-”
“You don’t need to explain anything, Dean,” Cas cut him off. “I just want you to be careful about whom you trust around here.”
“He’s a good kid.” Dean felt the needless urge to protest, defend Will’s loyalty.
Cas’ words were patient. “I’m not saying he’s a bad kid, but this place ... even the walls have ears.”
Dean was suddenly aware of Gabriel, snoring steadily a few feet away, and silent as ever Benny. It seemed Cas realised it, too.
“We’ll talk about this tomorrow,” Cas said with a subtle finality.
That was that.
Dean kicked off his shoes, stripped down to his undershirt and boxers, then threw himself on the hard choir mattress. Despite the chill in the air, Dean was sweating, worrying about Sam… worrying if he was next in the line of ever disappearing kids.
********************************
Cas was quiet all through class the next day. Dean tried to catch his eye, but Cas expertly managed to avoid it despite sitting next to Dean in almost every class.
Finally, Dean had had enough and grabbed Cas by the arm when they were walking back to the Orphanage on the dusty road.
“Dean!” Cas exclaimed.
“Oh, c’mon,” Dean hissed, pulling Cas off the foot-trodden path and into the fringe of the forest that lined the road from the school to the Orphanage.
Cas scowled, pulling his arm back. Maybe Dean had yanked harder than he had intended. But when Cas started to walk back towards the path, Dean grabbed the back of his shirt and pulled him back again.
“Cas! Listen to me.”
Cas turned around, eyes closed, but exasperation clear on his face. “What?”
Dean had never seen Cas like this. Usually he was so composed and… happy. Never annoyed and irritated. Maybe he was tired of Dean’s crusade. Maybe he was finally giving up, like Dean had suspected all along. It felt like a slap to his face and a kick to his gut at the same time.
His hands dropped to his sides in defeat, letting go of Cas completely, his shoulders drooped.
The sudden weightlessness made Cas look up in surprise.
“I guess this is it then, huh?” Dean smirked, without mirth.
“What?” The round blue eyes were shocked. But Dean didn’t feel any bitterness, just the weirdest mix of gratitude and sadness.
“What do you mean ‘this is it?” Cas asked, all annoyance disappearing. “You can’t give up now, Dean. We can’t give up on Sam now. He needs to be found. And you’re gonna trust a twelve year old punk with this and not me?”
Oh.
That was the problem. Cas realised what he’d said out loud as soon as Dean did, and his cheeks flushed a deep red. He was jealous.
His eyes dropped, and he stood there, shrouded in the shadows cast by the tall birch trees. “Dean… I’m sorry. I just- I got…”
“Hush...” Dean didn’t let him finish the sentence. Cas was what? Embarrassed?
How ironic that Cas should be embarrassed, when Dean was feeling overwhelmed and special. No one had ever been jealous over him. Not even a tiny bit.
“Forget about it. You have nothing to be sorry for.”
Cas cleared his throat, then looked at him and gave Dean a smile. A genuine and happy smile.
“So tell me about this kid.”
Just like that Dean knew he was forgiven. “His name’s Will, and he’s some sort of a Math freak. He said he’d look out for Sam… He’s trustworthy,” he added quickly, seeing the dubious look on Cas’s face.
“Okay,” Cas acquiesced.
“There’s something else I have to tell you, though,” Dean said, urgently, getting to the point. “I’ve kept something from you.”
Cas didn’t look surprised, more like a patient teacher who had been waiting for his favourite pupil to come clean about some shenanigans.
Dean took a deep breath, looked Cas directly in his clear blue eyes and said, “I lied to you about where I am from. I wasn’t transferred here from an orphanage. In fact, I have never set foot in an orphanage before this one. All my life I’ve known a home.”
Cas’s face gave away a tiny spasm, but apart from that he maintained a carefully constructed blank face.
Dean continued. “What I told you about the fire and losing my parents is true. And that I didn’t see my brother Sam after that night. What I didn’t tell you is that, since that night, I’ve lived with my dad’s friend. His name is Bobby Singer, and he is a grumpy old man.” Dean couldn’t help the wistful smile that spread across his lips at the thought of Bobby.
“He’s an awful cook, and he grumbles all the damn time. The house leaks when it rains and smells of stale whiskey. The front yard is full of the cars that come to his garage for repairs and the massive backyard is where the junk is stored for the scrap metal ... but it has always been my home.
Bobby’s fed me three meals a day, paid for school and taught me every goddamn thing under the Sun. From repairing cars to picking locks. He’s…” said Dean through a thick throat, “raised me like his own.”
Now that Dean had said it, the weight of missing Bobby came crashing down on him. Weight that he’d tried to bury so deep down, because he knew even a single thought might just make him weak. Silence followed in the aftermath of his words, until Cas broke it.
“Then why did he throw you out?”
“He didn’t,” Dean said, chin jutting out. “I chose to come here.”
“What?”
Cas’ bewilderment was expected. Dean tried to elaborate.
“The fire… the one that happened in Lawrence, Kansas. I’ve never been there since. Bobby was with my dad in the army. He took me in to his house in Sioux falls, Missouri. Sam… he was too young to be handed over, and the authorities took him over. Through some mismanagement, they lost track of him. Bobby tried for years to track him down, from orphanage to orphanage, till he gave up. I had lost all hope of finding him till…”
“Till?”
Dean smiled at Cas’ interest. “Till Bobby started going out with the Sheriff of the town, Jody Mills.” He wrinkled his nose. “It was awful at first, watching them sneak around the house… and honestly, just plain gross. But they seem to make each other happy. And she started spending more time around the house. Then this case came over, about missing kids in a chain of orphanages.”
Cas inhaled sharply, “Dean, is this going where I think it’s going?”
He nodded. “It all boiled down to this place. Many of her leads ended right here, and one of the million case files her department had inspected was about an 11 year old from Lawrence Kansas, whose folks had died in a fire.”
“Jesus Christ!” Cas sat down on a nearby rock with a plop. “This is insane.”
“Mhmm…” Dean agreed, going to sit by Cas gingerly. “It took me awhile to swallow the nerve wracking hope. Long story short, Jody needed a warrant to search this place that she couldn’t acquire and I was hell bent on finding Sam. We hatched a plan together and she managed to put me in here for a few months. That way I could find out about where the hell all these kids are disappearing to, and find Sam.”
Cas still looked like he was going to faint and Dean was mildly worried about him. He swallowed loudly and asked in a low voice. “So what about the kids…. what’s happening to them?”
“Jody’s best guess is child trafficking. Child labour and that sort. But it’s just that- a guess. Either way, we need some proof about what’s happening. The Stynes are shady at best… and insanely dangerous at worst. They somehow manage to loop the system and avoid all inquiries.”
“Whoa,” Cas muttered, dazed.
“Don’t let this get you all complacent,” Dean warned. “If anything, we’re in even more danger than you thought. I didn’t want to involve you, but I’m just so worried that Sam might be next to disappear.”
“Are you kidding me?” Cas said. “I’m in this with you now. We’re like Hardy boys now!”
Dean grinned. With his dark hair, pale face and straight laced attitude, Cas could pass for Frank Hardy. He then checked his watch. They were awfully late. He tapped Cas on the shoulder and they sprinted up to the path.
Both of them were out of breath by the time the reached the rusty, wrought-iron gate.
“If we’re ever gonna find out anything,” Cas huffed, walking up the creaky porch steps, “We’re gonna have to sneak into the left wing and-”
“Well, well, well,” an oily voice greeted them. “If it isn’t the baby angel with the blond douchewad.”
Gary was standing at the top of the steps, hands crossed, a sick, cold smile on his face.
“I see you’re half an hour past the curfew.”
“And I see you’re still lacking a brain,” Dean retorted, unable to help himself.
The smile slid from Gary’s face as he turned around. “You’re going to regret this, Winchester.”
And sure, he did, because seconds later, Andy turned up outside, followed by Raphael and Zachariah.
“You’re past the curfew,” Andy said.
Dean stared back. “I’ve been told.”
“I told you on day one, Winchester that your cocky attitude won’t work here. Detention for a week. You’ll clean the dishes everyday for a week after dinner for the whole damn week and Gary’s gonna supervise you.”
“What the-”
Andy cut it. “And you, Castiel, too much chumming around isn’t good for anyone here. You’ll be in the laundry for the whole week. If I see the two of you loitering around together, I’ll make that a whole month. Now get lost. The dishes are waiting for you.”

Vaccine hesitancy, molecular mimicry, and blood clots (oh my!)
There were many mixed messages in the world of coronavirus last week. Just as it appears that Michigan is the lead state in the fourth wave of the virus, the US is about to hit a “vaccine wall” as demand drops for vaccinations even though the supply is greatly improved. In the first three months of the rollout for the Pfizer, Moderna, and the Johnson & Johnson/Jantzen (J&J) vaccines, getting shots into arms of the most vulnerable has required a full court press from public health departments and the healthcare establishment, as well as persistence on the part of those trying to wrangle an appointment. The results from state to state have been uneven.
Figure 1
Tumblr media
So far 14 states have administered fewer than 75% of the doses distributed to them with Alabama having the lowest vaccination rate per capita. Twenty states have administered more than 80% of the doses distributed to them with the most vaccinations per capita in New Hampshire.[1]
Vaccine Hesitancy:
The good news for those who want to get vaccinated is that it is a whole lot easier to get an appointment now. That said, the goal of herd immunity is a long way off and with demand dropping for jabs, we may not get there. Vaccine hesitancy is an important reason for declining demand and that is a shifting picture.
In a study that was put out by the Kaiser Family Foundation (KFF) in December, 52% of Black Americans said they would “wait and see” before signing up for the vaccine while only 20% said they wanted the shot as soon as possible. The share of Black people who were skeptical of the vaccines was higher than for White respondents (36%) and Latinx (43%).[2]
By March of this year, 55% of Black respondents to another KFF survey said they had been vaccinated or wanted the vaccine as soon as possible. Twenty-four percent were still holding back. Blacks have been one of the hardest hit demographics of COVID-19 and that has, no doubt, played a part in changing minds. Another possible reason for the turnaround in willingness to get vaccinated is because there has been a concerted outreach effort tapping trusted sources such as Barack Obama, sports stars, and other influencers such as Black ministers to address vaccine hesitancy among Black people.
The Urban Institute’s September 2020 Coronavirus Tracking Survey, a nationally representative survey of adults ages 18-64, asked people whether in the last 12 months they had ever felt a doctor, other health care provider, or their staff judged them unfairly or discriminated against them based on their race/ethnicity, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, a disability, or a health condition and about the consequences of these experiences. This survey indicated that perceptions of discrimination and unfair judgement while seeking health care were higher among Black adults than among Hispanic and White adults in the previous 12 months (September 2019-September 2020).[3]
Figure 2
Tumblr media
A “food desert” is described as an urban area that does not have a grocery store within one mile or a rural area that does not have one within ten miles. There is also a “pharmacy desert” that generally occurs in primarily Black neighborhoods in urban areas as well as in rural areas. People of color are less likely to have a family primary care provider and so access to information about the individual’s risks and benefits of getting vaccinated from a trusted source, much less getting an appointment for the vaccine itself, is often more challenging than it is for White people. My guess is that these experiences and the barriers to appropriate care contributed to the initial skepticism among people of color generally and Black people specifically in the initial rollout phase.
FIGURE 3
Tumblr media
Meanwhile, Republicans and Evangelical Christians were the most likely groups to say they will not get vaccinated, according to the KFF survey.[4] I do not have an explanation for that. I also don’t know how wearing masks got politicized last year. If anyone has an explanation that doesn’t involve a gang of Democratic, cannibal pedophiles, I am really interested in hearing it.
Molecular mimicry and autoimmune disease:
There are science-based reasons that some are reluctant to get vaccinated. An issue that has been little discussed publicly is molecular mimicry. The theory is that some part of the spike protein of SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19 and is replicated in our cells, is similar enough to our own tissues that the immune system starts attacking our own cells thinking that those cells are the virus. Thus, the vaccine could trigger an autoimmune disease like rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, multiple sclerosis, or other autoimmune condition.
In one study looking for similar protein sequences between the SARS-CoV-2 virus with protein sequences in humans and other mammals, as well as other human coronaviruses, the number of shared protein sequences at two particular sites was quite high for humans, rats, and mice but miniscule or not at all with other human coronaviruses, cats, dogs, rabbits, chimpanzees, gorillas, or macaques.[5] Sadly, the investigators did not include bats, which I think of as flying rats, but that’s just me. It has been hypothesized that the original source of COVID-19 was from bats. Could the virus have molecular mimicry with bats? If so, what does that mean for the species?
These authors believe that much of the damage seen in the “cytokine storm” that causes the worst damage in COVID-19 may, in fact, be due to this molecular mimicry between the virus and, for example, lung tissue. It should also be noted that molecular mimicry from the whole SARS-CoV-2 virus is much more likely than it is from a small part of the virus (the spike protein). If the vaccine can trigger an autoimmune disease, so can the whole virus.
The presence and level of autoantibodies (AAbs) that attack our own cells, frequently detected in patients with COVID-19, are significantly associated with hospitalization and more severe prognosis. Clinically, these patients are more likely to have respiratory distress, acute cardiac injury, acute kidney injury, multi-organ dysfunction with such common complications as coagulopathy and thrombocytopathy (put a pin in this one as it is also at play with blood clots). [6]
Blood Clots and the J&J and AstraZeneca (AZ) vaccines:
Last week the J&J vaccine rollout was put on pause by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) because six women developed unusual blood clots after receiving this vaccination. This was six out of seven million shots given. Some saw this as an over-reaction by the FDA that would likely lead to more vaccine hesitancy. However, these blood clots are different from clots that occur from “the usual suspects” like oral contraceptives and smoking.
Figure 4
Tumblr media
A normal number of platelets is between 150,000-450,000 per microliter of blood (there are 1,000 microliters in one milliliter). If you have less than 150,000 platelets per microliter, you have a deficiency called thrombocytopenia. In the clots associated with the viral vector vaccines (J&J in the US and AZ in Europe), the platelets tend to stick together in the veins of the brain, which causes a blockage known as a cerebral venous system thromboembolism (CVST). This creates back pressure of blood in the brain itself, causing damage in the same way a hemorrhagic stroke would. [7]
“Normal” clots are usually treated with a blood thinner called heparin. With vaccine-induced prothrombotic immune thrombocytopenia (VIPIT), there is a deficiency of platelets and so that treatment would only make things worse. While the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the FDA are getting the word out to doctors not to use heparin, they are also looking for ways of figuring out which people are more at risk for this extremely rare complication. Putting the vaccine on pause was clearly the ethical thing to do and this kind of transparency gives me greater confidence in the vaccine rollout.
As is the case with molecular mimicry, the danger of VIPIT happening if a person gets COVID-19 is much higher than it is from either the J&J or the AZ vaccine.
“…If the mechanism is the same, one can speculate that the high occurrence in COVID-19 vs. vaccination is because the whole virus is more thrombogenic [likely to cause clots] than the spike protein alone.” Paolo Madeddu, professor of experimental medicine at the University of Bristol[8]
Symptoms associated with VIPIT include headache, tiny red spots under the skin, blurred vision, fainting or loss of consciousness, impaired movement in parts of the body, or coma. With either of these vaccines these blood clots, so far, only occurs 4-20 days after vaccination. Scientists believe that symptoms before or after that window are likely due to another cause.
It is important to note that COVID-19 itself has been reported to lead to thrombocytopenia (low blood platelets) in up to 41% of positive patients, with the figure going up to 95% of those with severe disease.[9]
Cause for cautious optimism:
Two separate studies published in the New England Journal of Medicine on April 9 indicated that in the case of the AZ vaccine, used in Europe, VIPIT was due to rogue antibodies against platelet factor 4 (PF4). This complication is similar to heparin-induced thrombocytopenia (HIT) and is diagnosed and treated the same way. It can be diagnosed with a lab test called ELISA that is pre-treated with PF4. If there is a big immune response, that means the patient has VIPIT. To be clear, there are lots of things that can cause blood clots and health professionals want to know what the cause is because the appropriate treatment is dependent on what is causing the problem. VIPIT from the AZ vaccine is treated with the administration of intravenous immunoglobins (IVG) and anti-coagulants. The J&J vaccine was not used in either of these studies and so we do not yet know if the same is true for that vaccine, but both are the same type of (viral vector) vaccine and both use an adenovirus as the viral vector.[10]
If we can get the one-and-done J&J vaccine back in use safely, that would be especially helpful for vaccinating unsheltered people. It would also be much easier to use in rural areas because J&J can be stored in a regular refrigerator unlike the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines that must be kept frozen.
My take:
For those who choose not to get vaccinated, for whatever reason, hoping to ride the coronavirus out, you should know that even without a vaccine, the SARS epidemic that hit Asia in 2002 did eventually go away, or, more likely, mutated to a less lethal virus. It took four years, but it can happen. However, that is not what always happens. Case in point, smallpox, which was around since at least the fourth century until it was declared eradicated by the World Health Organization in 1980. I don’t think I know anyone who has had smallpox and I may not know anyone who knows anyone who has had smallpox. In that case, the vaccine worked as intended.
Maybe you may feel like you are strong and healthy and even if you got COVID-19, you are unlikely to get significantly sick. Consider the possibility that you could be asymptomatic but still spread the disease. There are just no options that are completely risk free. Choose wisely.

Masara Kagami - Assassin done wrong - Part 1
I´ve mentioned it before so now I´m going to explain why I think Masara is the epitomy of misused potential for character design in all of Magia Record.
This is part one and will focus on her gameplay. Her visual design will be part two. In terms of character writing and personality I´m actually quite fond of her.
So, lets get going. Disclaimer: I don´t mean to hate on her or people who like her! I really do like her myself which is why I´m upset about how lazy the designers were when it comes to her.
Overview
Rarity: 3*-> 4*
Disks: AAB(<->)CC
Type: Attack
Personal: 100% Chance to Critial hit to self for one turn
Stats: 21.930 HP | 9.295 ATK | 6.963 DEF (SE 100/100)
Connect: Chance to Critical Hit 75%/85%
Magia: Damage One Enemy | Chance to Chase - Self / 1 Turn / 100% | Chance to Evade - Self / 1 Turn / 30%
SE (memorable nodes): Chance to Anti-Evade 35% | Charge Disc Damage up 10% | Blast Damage Up 16.5 % | Chance to Evade 15 % | Chance to Defense Pierce 15% | Charged Attack Damage up 10 % | Chance to Critical Hit 15%
SE Active: Chance to Critical Hit 35% - Self - 3 Turns
Now lets get going. Masara´s fighting style (ingame and story) is simple. Go in and strike. She is essentially an Assassin. She turns invisible and goes for the backstab. She is a glass canon and her stats reflect that.
But it doesn´t quite work. Now we gotta keep in mind she is not a limited special unit but I feel like even with her being low rarity she was done dirty. Why is that?
Let´s start with her disks. Double A and Double C with one B. This is the disc set of a support/magia type. Masara does get buffs for her charge discs, but how does she use them? Does she contribute to charge combos? No. She isn´t a chargius and doesn´t have tools the likes of Tsukasa (Charge +1) or Hagumu (Charge draw personal) have. Does she use her charges for blasting? Not really. She does have blast up in her SE but only one blast disc. Does her connect support charge? Not really, it is not consistent.  Being able to give a charge conservation 20 stack blast combo a crit chance of 85% sounds lethal but it´s not 100%. There´s a saying in the Pokemon fandom that goes: If it isn´t 100% accurate it´s 50% accurate. It´s high risk somewhat high reward and all her connect offers. Most people prefer consistency in connects so they won´t use her for anything other than basic content. The really good synergy is missing.
Maybe she´ll slot well into blasting. Obviously not. Without connect(s) she will never be able to pull of her own puella blast combo. If you really want to slot crit into a blast combo, just use Yachiyo. Her crit chance might be lower at 70% but the blast up is guaranteed. Plus she can reach 5 stars, something Masara can not do yet.
Since Masara can´t use her charge disks for blasting she can use them to boost her own mp gain, right? Yes! Buuuut...
She gets no sources of AC or MP gain up pre 100. This will slow her down. But she can get there. Once she does, what does she do?
She will destroy a single unit. Her attack is rather high for a capped four star and with the buff to single target magias she can even oneshot challenge bosses. But does her magia benefit her team? Not at all.
She gets a 30% chance to evade which is just her passive evade chance times two. Why. Whhhhyyy. She can turn invisible! Her evade should be 1000%. Tsuruno and Oriko can evade 100%, but the invisible assassin can´t. But maybe thats because the other effects are so broken? Nice one. It´s chase 100% for herself for one turn. Now here´s the problem with that. It´s useless if you use three magias in one turn. It´s also bad if you only use her magia and two discs cause you won´t maximize the damage. If it would last for two turns you could chase on a puella combo. But that´s a luxury she wasn´t given.  What her magia should do is provide Defense pierce. Assassins literally exist to bypass defenses. Either 100% to self or like 50% to her team. It would be good but nowhere near too broken for a free character. But you know who else is free to play, light type and can oneshot single target enemies. Shizuku. Her magia, being random targets, will outdamage single target magias. She is also uncapped and her Magia gives crit to her team for three turns. Thats more than Masara does. She also gives herself Attack up for three turns. Masara doesn´t do that either. So if you need a strong single target light magia, pick Shizuku (who also gets more mp and has evade as an SE active which makes her more  reliable).
Now, Masara is still capped and once she can reach 5 stars her stats will surpass Shizuku´s. But who knows when that will happen.
Lets summarize: She gives herself bad evade and mediocre chase. She gives others a very high crit chance but nothing else. By the way her chrit chance is bad on magia teams who don´t care about disc damage. Her SE gives her a mediocre crit chance for three turns and her personal gives her 100% crit for one turn. Her magia is outclassed by Shizuku´s who does more for herself and her team. She has no niche to fill in this game other than brr connect almost 100% crit but not quite brrr
Masara´s only source of defense pierce is a low chance from SE. Defense pierce should be her gimmick and her evade should be 100%. You can´t get more invisible assassin than this. This would make her unique but still balanced around being free to play. Her connect should be 100% crit chance PLUS another effect. Get creative and pick your poison. Ingore Dmg cut / Anti-Evade/ Evade/ Defense pierce/ Damage up whatever.
I know that she might get new abilities once she gets uncapped but I´m not very optimistic. She is not a teamplayer and thats okay. But her not living up to her assassin theme is such a shame. The only thing 100% about her kit is chase which is a fun mechanic but no saving grace. Everything that makes her lethal in concept is weak in execution.
So that wraps up everything wrong with Masara´s gameplay as an Assassin. Also let her throw knives from behind her enemies that would be so cool.

Understanding vector, map and their uncommon implementation:Explanation with their Code
Hey guys,this is my first article on tumblr so suggestions are most welcomed, I thought of writing an article which contains precise explanation with precise code as i am not going to waste my time by speaking on why this is needed and all,So i begin my series of articles based on the responses i will be writing articles further on ds algo etc…Mainly i will try to cover implementation portion of it by using real problems as most of the sites lacks that information.In this article i am going to discuss on following topics:
Vector
Map
So lets explore and understand about them in simple words and in detail:
Vector:-Vector is basically a dynamic array.Now you might be wondering that what exactly we mean here by dynamic?
In a nutshell:-Dynamic means flexible,means size is not fixed.Like an array has constant/fixed size,so you may have question in your mind then what is the need of using vector.See it is useful in questions where we don’t have any idea about size and in array we cannot erase values at arbitrary position,whereas we can erase values in vector using vector erase function.
Now in programming it is believed that understanding the implementation part will help you in better way rather than wasting time on reading theory,
Implementation:
Vector Representation:-vector<int>v;vector<int>v(n),vector<int>v[n];
Now you saw that i wrote three representations,so what are the differences between them.
vector<int>v:-This represents that size of vector is not fixed here,it can change according to the situation. For eg-Initially size of vector is 0,and now if i did operation v.push_back(1),here push_back is used to insert value inside vector,so now size of vector will be 1,and similarly again i perform v.push_back(8),now size of vector is 8,and lets traverse the vector…so we will write for(i=0;i<v.size();i++){v[i]……}so now we can use it as an array…push_back inserts value at the end,like in above example v[0]=1,v[1]=8…Now i told you that we can erase values in vector..So if we want to erase value at desired position then apply v.erase(v.begin()+desired position).There are other ways of erasing also.
vector<int>v(n):-This is exactly same as int a[n].
vector<int>v[n]:-This means vector of vector,this one will better understand by example.
v[0].push_back(1);v[0].push_back(8);v[4].push_back(-1);
v[6].push_back(5);
So above we saw that v[0] is one vector and inside that one another vector is present of size 2 and its elements are 1 and 8 respectively.so if we want to traverse each element individually:-
for(i=0;i<v.size();i++)
{for(j=0;j<v[i].size();j++)
{
v[i][j]……//means whatever operation you want to perform can do…as v[i][j] is individual element like v[0][1]=8,its like 2d matrix.
}
}So above v.size()==3,as one is v[0],v[4],v[6],in nutshell we understand that inside one vector one other vector is present ,this is mainly used in graphs as when you will read about depth first search there you will get to know about adjacency list.
2)Map:-Very Powerful STL tool.
Lets understand map by example.Q)Say in a class we have marks of 10 students in maths exam-10,50,50,30,24,50,20,30,10,50…our question is that count no.of students corresponding to marks obtained?Means how many have scored 50,how many have scored 10 likewise……..
So if our question would have asked calculate frequency for 50 marks only then we could have solved it easily by running a loop and taking count of 50 marks students….but here we have to calculate frequency for each individual marks….so in cases like this our Map is helpful….
Implementation:
map<int,int>m1; This is representation of map.
for(i=0;i<n;i++){
m1[a[i]]++;
}
As you can see above m1[a[i]]++,so basically map is also an array which stores value in the form of key value pair…..here key is marks and value is count of students corresponding to that marks…like m1[50]=4,m1[24]=1 in above example likewise…..so you can see map is also an array but here index is not like array one,here we have one index as 24 ,one as 50 etc…and map stores index in sorted order so like when you will traverse map..then first of all m1[10] will come then m1[24] likewise…..
Now question comes how we will traverse the map?As for traversing the array,vector we have 0-index and in ordered form…so we simply run loop for(i=0;i<n;i++) and we can easily travel them ,but in the case of map as we saw that index was like 24,50,10,30 etc..and we don’t know them beforehand so how we will tackle them…..
For traversing map,set etc we use concept of iterator
What is iterator:In simple words we can say that it is a kind of pointer.Lets move on its implementation,Like here we will traverse map using iterator,its same as traversing array using simple for loop
Implementation:
map<int,int>::iterator it=m1.begin();
for(it=m1.begin();it!=m1.end();it++)
{
int k= it->first; //means it->first refers to map key which is 24,30,50 etc..
int r= it->second; //means it->second refers to map value that is m1[50] value,m1[24] value….say m1[50]=4…so it->first=50 and it->second =4..
cout<<No.of students k marks is r<<endl;
}
3. So we saw how to traverse map using iterator…and say if we want to find maximum number of students corresponding to one particular marks,then we will apply ….if(it->second>p){p=it->second;}….inside iterator loop we will use this condition….likewise anything we can do…And we will see more applications of map,set at the end after understanding pairs ,set etc……
Above one is known as ordered map as it stores unique keys…and all keys are in sorted manner….key refers to index in basic terms….Then we have unordered map which doesn’t store keys in sorted manner and then we have multimap which allows duplicating of keys,these two we will understand further in other articles..First we should be clear with basic implementation of map..Lets discuss one more final example to have better hold on implementation part of map…say we have string=”abaaabccaababa”
And our question of is maximum frequency of occurence of any substring of size 3.I hope you have idea about string and substring and if not then let me tell you in short…A substring of size 3 in above example can be-aba,aaa,baa,aab,bcc,cca,caa etc…means continuous characters of size 3 starting from any postion is substring …in simple words
Now lets move on implementation of this question….
map<string,int>m1; Here you might be wondering that why i wrote string as key,because we are going to take count of substring so key will be string and value is count so we wrote int as value…these things you need to keep in mind while implementing map.
for(i=0;i<n-2;i++)//n=s.size(),n-2 i guess you are clear as substring of size 3 so we need to take valid input or else error will be thrown…
{
m1[s.substr(i,3)]++;
}
So here in map we will have our map like m1[“aba”],m1[“caa”],m1[“baa”] likewise…..For maximum..lets traverse the loop
map<string,int>::iterator it=m1.begin();int p=0;
for(it=m1.begin();it!=m1.end();it++)
{
if(it->second>p)
{ p=it->second;
}
}
So answer of p will be 3 as m1[“aba”]=3…and one more thing if we are required to print substring then inside that if condition just add
string s1=it->first;
So we saw the basic implementation of map,then there is one more information map contains if we will write m1.size() it returns no. of unique keys our data contains,then we have this option also m1.erase(key),means if we write m1.erase(“aba”) then our m1[“aba”] …will be erased….and we can use one more function m1.find(“aba”)…lets see its implementation
map<string,int>::iterator it1 = m1.find(“aba”);
if(it1==m1.end())
{
//means key is not present }
else if(it1!=m1.end())
{
//means key is present
}
So using this m1.find() function we can check whether key is present or not,rest function you can study from this link…Like there is one function m1.upper_bound,lower_bound this all you can study from this link…
One thing i forgot to tell you that iterator can be written in other way also like
for(auto it:m1){}||for(auto it=m1.begin();it!=m1.end();it++)
Now you know we can travel map in reverse way also like as we know that we can travel array/vector in reverse manner using for(i=n-1;i≥0;i- -) similarly here we use for(auto it=m1.rbegin();it!=m1.rend();it- -)………
Then we can store map keys in descending order by using this function
map<int,int,greater<int>()>m1; Likewise there are many more operations which you will get to know while practicing.In my further articles i will try to cover some advanced implementation of maps by solving standardized questions,as i believe that by real problems we get better feel of any topic right?
3)Some Basic Thing but sometimes tricky
To understand this lets study about pairs first…
Pairs is also a kind of array where in value portion we can store two values…
Like say rishav has got 20 marks in maths and 30 marks in science,similarly rohit has got 15 marks in maths and 0 marks in science…so how we will store theses values
Implementation
pair<int,int>p1;
p1[0].first=20,p1[0].second=30;p1[1].first=15,p1[1].second=0;if 0-index is of rishav and 1-index is of rohit.
pairs we can use in many ways now lets look on deeper implementation of it….
vector<pair<pair<int,int>,int>>v;
So what this above representation implies….This means if we write
v.push_back({{20,30},40});({}is used for make_pair operation)
so v[0].first.first=20;
v[0].first.second=30;
v[1].second=40;
Likewise if we write
vector<pair<pair<int,int>,pair<int,int>>>v;
v.push_back({{20,0},{10,30}});
so in this way we can store value for above representation
which means v[0].first.first=20;
v[0].first.second=0;
v[1].second.first=10;
v[1].second.second=30;
so i guess you are getting some feeling by observing few examples above.
We can use pairs in map also like see.
map<pair<string,string>,int>m1;
m1.insert({{rohit,rishav},4});
m1[{rohit,rishav}]=4;
here key is {rohit,rishav} and value is 4.
map<int,vector<int>>m1;
what does this mean…
m1[1].push_back(4);
m1[1].push_back(-1);
m1[3].push_back(6);
m1[3].push_back(4);
so how we will traverse map in such case…
map<int,vector<int>>::iterator it=m1.begin();
for(it=m1.begin();it!=m1.end();it++)
{
for(j=0;j<it->second.size();j++)
{
if(it->second[j] ) //so this it->second[j] this term tells us the values present inside the vector like m1[1] contains -1,4 etc…..likewise…so in this way we can traverse the map…for this case
}
}
We can have many operations like this say
map<pair<int,int>,vector<int>>m1;
map<int,set<int>>m1;
map<int,multiset<int>>m1;
map<string,pair<string,int>>m1;
etc…..
Set/multiset we will discuss in further articles….
Suggestions are welcomed

How long did it take to flesh out all these worlds for you? They always feel very rich in every aspect; history, law, politics, even hair and fashion. It's probably cause you're a big history buff (?) but even then I imagine getting all the specifics and aesthetics down would still take months/years?
ohhh, thanks anon! (〃‿〃✿) i try my best!!!
okay, so the first three things i do when worldbuilding are --
make several families with relatively fleshed-out histories
write out the basic plot of a story (thank god i usually write these court intrigue-adjacent things lol)
get a feel for what kind of setting and culture(s) work best, then start researching and compiling
everyone probably has different priorities for worldbuilding, but for me, i really only need around 50-100 years of prior history, a rough idea of the government structure, and rough culture to work with. a lot of things get answered and figured out while writing, and because i love court intrigue, history, politics, and law always end up getting worked out somehow during the writing process.
fashion, in my opinion, is part of the history of the country, which is why i personally always emphasize it in notes about lore. everything about fashion -- the cuts of clothing, fabrics, patterns, dyes, sumptuary laws, they’re all a reflection of the society, and of the natural world around them.
overall, most of my worldbuilding is influenced by real life history, so i don’t necessarily start from scratch. alayonte in aab is the result of close to 7 years of worldbuilding; yetakh in kok is the result of around 6-8 months of worldbuilding, so i think it definitely gets easier over time. working magic systems though, personally, they take me the longest. i think it’s taken around 5 years to get it even somewhat functional and logical (◕ω◕✿)

11th November 2019
hello! once again, it's been a while since i've posted, but - spare feedback lessons for the mocks we did last week - i'm finally back to proper lessons.
so, overall, my mocks went mixed. for Biology, we did 1/2 paper as multiple choice (very very hard MCQs, i should!), and the other half as written questions. i haven't got the grade boundaries back or the second half, but today i did get 70% on the MCQ part which i was very happy with because that was, in my opinion, a harder part of the paper, so i'm really hoping for an A!
for Chemistry, once again, i don't know which grade boundaries are being used, but i got 86% which i think was the highest in my class!! based off the overall grade boundaries for the 2019 A Level (which this was taken from), i think this is an A*, so i'm really happy it went well!!
in Physics, which we did 2019 paper 1, i got 31/90, which is uuuuh really not very good, as that's a D. to get into uni, i need a B, so it's really disappointing. but once again i'm seeing that, at this point, my confidence is really the thing holding me back.
on a more positive note, i had recieved offers for Pharmacology from KCL, Bath, and UEA, at AAB, ABB and BBB respectively. Bristol (my top choice aaah) have my application on hold, and i have yet to hear from Southampton, but i'm really really happy to have recieved 3/5 already!!
i hope you're all doing well! it's good to be back here 😊😊

What Is the Cheapest Way to Get Into the Legal Profession?
Tumblr media
"What is the Cheapest way to get into law? " Entering the legal profession is without doubt one of the most expensive job options apart from becoming an airline pilot. It involves investing thousands of pounds in education that may or would possibly not lead to a position at the end of the road. Unfortunately there is no simple answer to which is the cheapest way to get in because there are actually all sorts of implications as to the different paths you choose to go down. The Legal Executive route is the cheapest option. Several people go down this particular route following on from an undergraduate degree, whether law or otherwise, or upright out of school. The Legal Executive route in terms of monetary cost is considerably cheaper than the Graduate Stage in Law/LLB degree and the Legal Practice Course (the solicitor route). We did a bit of research along with the current cost in 2013 to complete both parts of the Legal Executive training (Part 3 and A part 6) is about £6, 500 (course fees, exam fees etc .. ) The current cost of the Legal Exercise Course at the University of Law is £11, 000-£13, 000. If you combine the Graduate Diploma with Law (GDL) and the Legal Practice Court (LPC) the overall cost is about £18, 000-£20, 000. If you blend the Legal Practice Course with the cost of completing a law degree then the usual overall charge is around £25, 000 to £30, 000, which is gradually creeping up to around the £40, 000 mark since law schools start to capitalise on the willingness and ability of potential lawyers to pay. In the past people are generally down the vocational course route or alternatively the New York Attorney route, but these are options which were now in the past because, as we understand it, the Law Society still require you to complete the LPC and a exercising contract or training contract equivalent, which makes it senseless to plan to do either of these two in order to become a legal representative. So if you look at the different options, the cheapest one by far is the route through the Institute of Legal Executives and to become chartered legal executive before then either moving on to being a solicitor simply remaining a legal account manager. The various borders between all the different types of lawyer (legal executive, paralegal, solicitor and Barrister) are becoming distinctly unreadable. Solicitors can now do work that was exclusively reserved for barristers. Barristers can see clients directly. Legal middle management can gain the Rights of Audience that solicitors and barristers previously exclusively enjoyed. Legal Middle management can now become partners of law firms and so can barristers. Solicitors can practice as Advocates without truly needing to take instructions from clients themselves. However one thing remains very clear and that is that in the minds involving lawyers themselves there is still a hierarchy in terms of both fee income and status. At the bottom of the pack is a paralegal and this is very unlikely to change for a good few years yet simply because paralegals have no rights in any respect in terms of advocacy, and similarly cannot practice on their own without another type of lawyer being with them. Second in the bin are Legal Executives who are starting to enjoy more status in recent times but similarly hold lesser standing inside legal profession as a whole than solicitors and barristers. It is partly because of the old-fashioned view that most people who have end up legal executives are former secretaries trying to work their way up. this is still very much the case for a lot of and perfectly understandable as a very easy way in. After all, being a solicitor requires you to do quite a bit of instructional study at some point or other whereas becoming a legal executive is mostly something you can do on the job with a few times a week at night school or weekends at doing distance learning spread over a considerable length of time. Second from the prime are solicitors. Make no mistake, in the legal professional solicitors are definitely considered second rate by just about absolutely everyone including themselves, even when they are commercial lawyers earning considerable sums of money and more than the Barristers people instruct. Solicitors are seen more as wheeler-dealers and go-getters than actual lawyers, and the profession itself after a while has determined effectively that solicitors are the monkeys to barristers' organ grinders. At the top of the pile are definitely the barristers. The vast majority of barristers I suspect would class themselves as upper class. They are often very sharp, really intelligent, usually residing in exclusive villages or streets reserved for premier league footballers, doctors and older businessmen and with cars to match. Barristers see solicitors as a necessary evil as traditionally the solicitors get hold of clients for the barristers and the barristers did their best for them even though they usually have not met the client before the day of their first hearing and have absolutely no interest at all in their welfare or personal situation. Barristers are 100 % pure law at the end of the day and are not interested (quite understandably) in their clients' welfare or wellbeing. These are typically traditional views on the legal profession and the way it is structured. How you choose to interpret the above article can be a matter for yourself, but it is based on my own experiences in law, whether as a lay person undertaking cases average joe or as a qualified solicitor working with barristers and other solicitors. The reason I put this level of detail straight into this article is to show you that if you decide to go in the cheapest way into the legal profession there is always a catch, together with at the moment the catch is that your status for the remainder of your time in the profession will be diminished by the decision you cash in on now. Once a legal executive always a legal executive. The lawyers recruiting you at the moment are constantly "pure" solicitors. They will hold your status as a legal executive against you and probably for the the rest of your career. Your salary will often be affected as solicitors traditionally believe that legal executives are worth less of your budget than qualified solicitors. I would estimate that over the time of your career remaining you will lose around £5, 000 to £10, 000 per year at the very least through your decision to go down the Legal Executives route, at the least up until you have been in a solicitors job for 5 years min. Furthermore, certain doors will be closed to you from then start. If you qualify as a legal executive you very often have to qualify into a space where legal executives are used and practice. This invariably means debt recovery, some types of employment -- usually contentious, crime, family, conveyancing, wills and probate and sometimes commercial property. Whilst some of these may not be known to be too bad in the long term - commercial property and wills and probate are not too badly payed off at the moment - it does mean that the majority of commercial law for example is going to be outside your remit. It is very difficult to advance from one field to another once you have specialised in one particular area of law. So for example if you qualify as a suitable executive undertaking crime work and have 5 years' experience you cannot then use your legal executive condition (or indeed your solicitor status) to move across and practice in corporate finance. If you are an able scholar or graduate with excellent grades then you should almost always make an effort to go down the solicitor or barrister journey. Going down the solicitor route is not as expensive as people think it is. For example you do not need to pay the College associated with Law or BPP to do the Legal Practice Course or the Graduate Diploma in Law. There are actually far cheaper alternatives and regardless of what the more elite institutions tell you, the vast majority of law firms don't care two hoots where you do your LPC because most qualified lawyers view these courses as burning hoops to help you jump through in order to qualify than any sign of your ability. Employers are always interested in your basic degree. For the rest of your career. Forever! They are also interested in your A level grades. Forever! This plus your A- Level grades will determine whether you are a student or graduate with excellent academics. If you have straight A's at A Level or AAB or possibly ABB then you will be an excellent student to come into law. If you have some sort of 2: 1 Degree in anything other than pop music or country dancing (my first degree has been pop music), then you stand a very good chance of training and becoming a qualified solicitor. If you have less than this then this life as a lawyer will be considerably harder to start out with. The Legal profession do not view 2: some degrees as being something that entitles you to practice as a lawyer. It will go against you for the remainder of your position and there is no way round it. I suspect that if you are sat there reading this with a 2: a pair of degree you have been badly misinformed by anyone who has told you to go into the legal profession. It is not impossible - I have trained and coached many students and graduates who have 2: 2 degrees (sometimes even a 3rd) and they have gone onto enjoy rewarding careers as lawyers in some capacity. However , their road towards law has been considerably harder as a result of their inability to obtain a 2: 1 degree. So getting back to this statement that if you have excellent academics you should always consider becoming a solicitor so as not to damage your career in the long term just by going down the Legal Executive route. If you do not have excellent academics then you should always consider alternative options then one of these will be to go down the legal executive route. However I would not recommend paying to undertake a genuine executive course until you have legal work experience, you are able to use in the longer term to secure yourself a superb legal career. By this I mean that if you are a student or graduate you should definitely not go straight down to the Institute of Legal Executives and sign up for any legal executive course. If you are going down a nonconventional route into law then academic study once you have completed an undergraduate degree or your A-Levels is utterly immaterial. Experience is what matters and nothing else will do. Legal work experience is the key so that you can gaining a successful start into law. You cannot skip this, circumvent or navigate round it as a lot of people try every year. This is why academic institutions have been bought out by overseas companies looking to make a quick money. There are a lot of people out there undertaking postgraduate and undergraduate courses with no hope at all of ever finding a occupation in the profession they are going into. Furthermore, there are lots of people out there who have the academic qualifications but lack any succeed experience or activities or interests who similarly are very unlikely to ever get ahead in regulation or get through the easy way. No careers adviser will give you this advice, but the main thing to do to get into law may be to get experience, more experience and even more experience. This may cost money in itself, and you may say that I have your fees to pay and I have to live. This gets me to my point that if you want to invest in your job then spending money on academic qualifications is not the way to go. Getting experience is and this in itself will cost you money. To give you a simple example, as I write this a vacancy has come in from one of our central London law firms. They are buying fee earner to go and assist for a month or two with a load of admin work. They will pay properly for this, and it is a job probably most suited for an LPC graduate. I have one in mind. It is not an LPC masteral with a 2: 1 law degree or good A levels. It is not an LPC graduate with an LLM from a good university or some sort of summer school academic qualification. It is an LPC graduate with corresponding experience to that the firm are seeking. The firm will not give two hoots what the LPC scholar has in terms of additional qualifications but they will study the LPC graduate's work experience to date to decide with certainty if to take them on for this particular role. It is so important to understand this that when somebody says what is the cheaper way into law that there is no easy answer. You cannot just take a decision now that will affect the rest to your career simply on the basis that it may cost one or two thousand pounds more to go one way into the lawful profession rather than another. You will notice that so far I have not mentioned anything about barristers. This is because in my experience guidance to be a barrister is almost always a complete waste of your money and time. You would probably be shocked to hear the following and perhaps put it down to my natural bias against barristers having been a solicitor myself. I would grudgingly accept that probably I am a little biased against barristers having run around courts for them, I've taken care of some pretty awful ones over the years (as well as some absolutely fantastic ones) but the barristers' follicle of the profession is pretty much tied up and it is very important to understand this. The word nepotism could almost have been devised for this part of the profession. Let me give you an example. Back many years ago when I had just qualified as a solicitor our practice used a local chambers which had a very good reputation in the area and was probably the top number of barristers by a considerable distance. I cannot remember any of their barristers being unsuited or incompetent and a lot of being incredibly talented advocates. At some stage in my first year after training I remember that they advertised for two scholar barristers to join them. There were a considerable number of applications, as you would expect because this was a top quality set of chambers, superior reputation with quality work coming in, in an area where there are not many barristers' chambers. I do not have a clue how the recruitment process occurred but I do know that the two pupils selected were children of one of the person barristers in chambers and one of the more junior barristers. I am afraid that the barristers' profession can discuss diversity and equal opportunity to their hearts content but when recruitment like this occurs in a chambers of this size it is completely irrelevant. It is always going to be the case that if chambers at that level recruit their own personal then anyone else will either have to set up rival chambers or alternatively work for a lesser standard of chambers. It may be that the two children of the barristers already in practice were the best suited for the role, and Seen they went on to be absolutely outstanding barristers but the point is these two people gained their pupillages using chambers to which they were already affiliated through their parents. Without any sort or recruitment process that will eliminates this (and after all why should it - I would have done exactly the same myself as a barrister when my children wanted to practice as barristers! ) then this is not a strand of the profession to go directly into unless you have family or extremely good friends who are able to assist you in your search or pupillage. The vast majority of people who comprehensive the Bar Professional Training Course do not end up as barristers. They end up working as paralegals or non-qualified attorneys with a views to taking the Legal Practice Course at a future point in their career, costing much more money. This is a false economy because the cost of completing the Bar Professional Training Course and the Legal Put into practice Course is verging on the ridiculous for the returns that you will get at a later stage in your career. So summing up I recommend anyone coming into the profession to do one of two things. 1 . If you have excellent academics and the ability to increase legal work experience to your CV to bolster this then go and try and qualify as a lawyer. Do not go down any other route. 2 . If you do not have excellent academics do not go down the route of determining to be a solicitor. You can go and get work experience and prove me wrong (and I hope you do) but you would be better suited to a life as a legal executive with a view to cross-qualifying at a in the future stage by competing the Legal Practice Course or simply being happy doing what you are doing for a legal executive. Always think - why are you going into law? What do you want to get out of it? How much how about to earn in order to get what you want out of life?

CAMILLE THURMAN: THE ORIGIN OF THE BLUES
STUDENT GUIDE
PERFORMANCE / DEMONSTRATION
School show: February 1
So, What’s Going On?
She’s got the blues…
For Camille Thurman, the blues aren’t just singing about your problems—although they can be. For Thurman, the blues are a conversation, an exploration…the language of jazz music.
The blues is the oldest American art form, originally created by enslaved Africans in the Deep South. The blues was sung in the cotton fields and in chain gangs as a way of passing time when experiencing hard physical labor. Its originators used the blues as a way of communicating, sharing stories, and expressing emotions including joy, pain, sorrow, loss, hope, and a longing for freedom. After slavery was abolished, many ex-slaves migrated to the north to escape segregation, racism, and to access better jobs, housing, and opportunities.
New technological innovations, such as the steamboat and train, allowed for masses of people to travel from southern rural areas to the big northern and western cities. As African Americans migrated north, the music evolved, too. These transplanted blues transformed into urban music—with the introduction of drums and electric guitar—resulting in the morphing of the blues into different regional styles, including Mississippi Delta Blues, Chicago Blues, Memphis Blues, Kansas City Blues, St. Louis Blues, Texas Blues, and Piedmont Blues.
Blues was often built off “riffs," also sometimes referred to as “call and response,” and commonly included the voice, hands, feet, guitar, harmonica, and piano (bass and drums were later incorporated). Artists such as Bessie Smith, Joe Williams, W.C. Handy, Louis Armstrong, Big Momma Thornton, Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters, Howlin’ Wolf, B.B. King, Koko Taylor, Count Basie, and Charlie Parker all became known as innovators of the blues and were key to establishing the various types of blues for different regions.

Who’s Who
Tumblr media
In the jazz world, Camille Thurman is a triple threat—a soulful singer who has mastered flute and tenor saxophone, and written award-winning compositions. Though her voice is compared to that of jazz legend Ella Fitzgerald, she is equally respected for her technical mastery of jazz saxophone.
A recreational singer since she was small, Thurman was inspired by the music of Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, and Chaka Khan as a child. Though she began playing flute at age 12, she didn’t truly consider herself a musician until a family member gifted her a saxophone at age 15. She would sing and “scat”—improvised singing where the voice imitates an instrument with nonsense syllables—her sax solos to learn them, quickly being recognized for her talent and going on to study music with some of the foremost jazz teachers in the country.
Thurman’s four octave vocal range, a phenomenon among singers, captures audiences. Only a few singers boast such a broad range, the circle including pop singers like Ariana Grande, Mariah Carey, and Christina Aguilera. Meanwhile, her lush, velvety tones on the tenor sax have earned the respect of jazz musicians and audiences alike. Equal parts instrumentalist and singer, Thurman hopes her music helps expand people’s ideas about jazz musicians, especially female instrumentalists. She has performed with musicians from Wynton Marsalis to Alicia Keys to Erykah Badu, and has received countless awards, including the Lincoln Center Award for Outstanding Young Artists.
For this Kennedy Center program, Camille Thurman will perform with The Darrell Green Trio, which includes Green on drums, Devin Starks on bass, and Keith Brown on piano.
Check This Out…
Listen for how Thurman switches between her voice and the sax. What techniques are similar between the two (hint: think improvisation)?
The blues most often take on what is called a 12-bar pattern, referring to the number of “bars” or measures in each phrase of a song. Each 12-bar phrase follows an AAB pattern, with each section containing 4 of the 12 beats, like this: A 1-2-3-4 (Problem - Well I woke up this morning, feeling oh so sad) A 5-6-7-8 (Problem - Well I woke up this morning, feeling oh so sad) B 9-10-11-12 (Statement - But once I started singin’ now I’m feeling really glad) Listen for 12-bar patterns throughout the music, as well as the call and response-style lyrics that are a hallmark of blues.
Watch Thurman sing the 12-bar blues:
youtube
Like all blues artists, Thurman brings her own experiences and emotions to her rendition of the blues. Does listening to her sing and play the blues help you feel connected to her?
The Language of Jazz and Blues
Here are some key jazz terms to know and to listen for during the performance:
Articulation: Performance techniques used by musicians that determine the style or sound of the music by specifying how individual notes are to be played within a section or entire piece of music.
Blues: An African American musical art form involving expression and storytelling through “call and response.” The blues is a feeling or way of expressing one’s emotions through sound. The blues is about overcoming adversity—facing a problem in life and overcoming it with a solution.
Call and Response: A musical approach in which a melodic or rhythmic phrase is exchanged between two parts; also called “question/statement” or “answer/solution.”
Harmony: Two or more notes played together that create a compatible or pleasant sound.
Improvisation: Creating music or song spontaneously or embellishing a pre-existing melody; a technique that requires great musical skill and creativity.
Jazz Standards: Popular musical compositions, mostly created between the 1920s and 1960s for Broadway musicals and films. They’re called “standards” because they’re so widely known and performed, they’ve become a permanent part of the jazz music repertoire, also known as the “Great American Songbook.”
Melody: The tune of a piece of music created by a series of notes; most often recognizable as the main tune you hum or sing along with in a musical work.
Rhythm: A strong, repeated pattern of sound.
Riff: A short, repeated musical phrase.
Soloing: When a musician improvises by elaborating on the music’s melody and harmony in their own personal style.
The Great Migration: The movement of six million African Americans from the rural south to urban northeast, mid-west, and west between 1915 and 1960. The majority of African Americans migrated to cities such as Chicago, Detroit, Pittsburgh, New York, Kansas City, and Detroit.

Think About This…
The blues evolved from spirituals, work songs, chants, and other musical forms that represent the experiences of slaves, ex-slaves, and descendants of slaves. Considering this, how do the blues tell the story of America?
Along similar lines, the blues uses music and lyrics to tell the story of the composer’s deepest sorrows and highest joys. How does the music you listen to or play today represent your life? If it doesn’t, where might you look to find music that does?
Watch the late B.B. King discuss why anyone can sing the blues:
youtube
Technology and innovation (like the steamboat and train) changed and evolved the blues, spreading it throughout big cities in America. Consider how technology and innovation have affected modern music in just the last few decades. (Hints: How music can be recorded on your iPhone. Or how music can be delivered via iTunes, Spotify, Pandora, etc.)

Take Action: Singin’ the Blues
Camille Thurman takes elements from her life and carefully incorporates them into jazz/blues to create unique compositions. Here’s a challenge: Think of a personal situation that you’re comfortable writing about and create a blues lyric about it. Here’s the format:
Problem/Statement Problem/Statement Solution
You can use this simple example for inspiration:
My dog ate my ice-cream, feeling really sad today My dog ate my ice-cream, feeling really sad today But my mom brought me another cone, and I’m feeling happy again
You might even try adding a simply melody to your text to make it a complete blues composition. Share your words or even consider taking a video of yourself performing the blues and share it with friends and family.
And here’s some help--a backing track they could sing over:

What Is the Cheapest Way to Get Into the Legal Profession?
Tumblr media
"What is the Cheapest way to get into law?"
Entering the legal profession is without doubt one of the most expensive career options apart from becoming an airline pilot. It involves investing thousands of pounds in education that may or may not lead to a position at the end of the road.
Unfortunately there is no simple answer to which is the cheapest way to get in because there are all sorts of implications as to the different paths you choose to go down.
The Legal Executive route is the cheapest option. Quite a few people go down this particular route following on from an undergraduate degree, whether law or otherwise, or straight out of school. The Legal Executive route in terms of monetary cost is considerably cheaper than the Graduate Diploma in Law/LLB degree and the Legal Practice Course (the solicitor route).
We did a bit of research and the current cost in 2013 to complete both parts of the Legal Executive training (Part 3 and Part 6) is about £6,500 (course fees, exam fees etc..) The current cost of the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law is £11,000-£13,000. If you combine the Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) and the Legal Practice Court (LPC) the overall cost is about £18,000-£20,000.
If you combine the Legal Practice Course with the cost of completing a law degree then the usual overall price is around £25,000 to £30,000, which is gradually creeping up to around the £40,000 mark as law schools start to capitalise on the willingness and ability of potential lawyers to pay.
In the past people have been down the vocational course route or alternatively the New York Attorney route, but these are options that are now in the past because, as we understand it, the Law Society still require you to complete the LPC and a training contract or training contract equivalent, which makes it senseless to plan to do either of these two in order to become a lawyer.
So if you look at the different options, the cheapest one by far is the route through the Institute of Legal Executives and becoming a chartered legal executive before then either moving on to being a solicitor simply remaining a legal executive.
The various borders between all the different types of lawyer (legal executive, paralegal, solicitor and Barrister) are becoming distinctly blurred. Solicitors can now do work that was exclusively reserved for barristers. Barristers can see clients directly. Legal executives can gain the Rights of Audience that solicitors and barristers previously exclusively enjoyed. Legal Executives can now become partners of law firms and so can barristers. Solicitors can practice as Advocates without ever needing to take instructions from clients themselves.
However one thing remains very clear and that is that in the minds of lawyers themselves there is still a hierarchy in terms of both fee income and status.
At the bottom of the pile is a paralegal and this is very unlikely to change for a good few years yet simply because paralegals have no rights at all in terms of advocacy, and similarly cannot practice on their own without another type of lawyer being with them.
Second in the pile are Legal Executives who are starting to enjoy more status in recent times but similarly hold lesser standing in the legal profession as a whole than solicitors and barristers. It is partly because of the old-fashioned view that most people who have become legal executives are former secretaries trying to work their way up. this is still very much the case for some people and perfectly understandable as a very easy way in.
After all, being a solicitor requires you to do quite a bit of academic study at some point or other whereas becoming a legal executive is mostly something you can do on the job with a few evenings a week at night school or weekends at doing distance learning spread over a considerable length of time.
Second from the top are solicitors. Make no mistake, in the legal professional solicitors are definitely considered second rate by just about everyone including themselves, even when they are commercial lawyers earning considerable sums of money and more than the Barristers they instruct. Solicitors are seen more as wheeler-dealers and go-getters than actual lawyers, and the profession itself over time has determined effectively that solicitors are the monkeys to barristers' organ grinders.
At the top of the pile are the barristers. The vast majority of barristers I suspect would class themselves as upper class. They are often very sharp, extremely intelligent, usually residing in exclusive villages or streets reserved for premier league footballers, doctors and senior businessmen and with cars to match.
Barristers see solicitors as a necessary evil as traditionally the solicitors obtain clients for the barristers and the barristers did their best for them even though they usually have not met the client before the date of their first hearing and have absolutely no interest at all in their welfare or personal situation.
Barristers are pure law at the end of the day and are not interested (quite understandably) in their clients' welfare or wellbeing.
These are traditional views on the legal profession and the way it is structured. How you choose to interpret the above article is a matter for yourself, but it is based on my own experiences in law, whether as a lay person undertaking cases myself or as a qualified solicitor working with barristers and other solicitors.
The reason I put this level of detail into this article is to show you that if you decide to go in the cheapest way into the legal profession there is always a catch, and at the moment the catch is that your status for the remainder of your time in the profession will be diminished by the decision you have made now.
Once a legal executive always a legal executive. The lawyers recruiting you at the moment are usually "pure" solicitors. They will hold your status as a legal executive against you and probably for the remainder of your career. Your salary will often be affected as solicitors traditionally believe that legal executives are worth less money than qualified solicitors. I would estimate that over the time of your career remaining you will lose around £5,000 to £10,000 per year at the very least through your decision to go down the Legal Executives route, at least up until you have been in a solicitors job for 5 years min.
Furthermore, certain doors will be shut to you from then start. If you qualify as a legal executive you very often have to qualify into an area where legal executives are used and practice. This invariably means debt recovery, some types of employment - usually contentious, crime, family, conveyancing, wills and probate and sometimes commercial property. Whilst some of these are not known to be too bad in the long term - commercial property and wills and probate are not too badly paid at the moment - it does mean that the majority of commercial law for example is going to be outside your remit.
It is very difficult to move from one field to another once you have specialised in one particular area of law. So for example if you qualify as a legal executive undertaking crime work and have 5 years' experience you cannot then use your legal executive status (or indeed your solicitor status) to move across and practice in corporate finance.
If you are an able student or graduate with excellent grades then you should almost always make an effort to go down the solicitor or barrister route. Going down the solicitor route is not as expensive as people think it is.
For example you do not need to pay the College of Law or BPP to do the Legal Practice Course or the Graduate Diploma in Law. There are far cheaper alternatives and regardless of what the more elite institutions tell you, the vast majority of law firms don't care two hoots where you do your LPC because most qualified lawyers view these courses as burning hoops to jump through in order to qualify than any sign of your ability.
Employers are always interested in your undergraduate degree. For the rest of your career. Forever!
They are also interested in your A level grades. Forever!
This plus your A- Level grades will determine whether you are a student or graduate with excellent academics. If you have straight A's at A Level or AAB or possibly ABB then you will be an excellent student to come into law.
If you have a 2:1 Degree in anything other than pop music or country dancing (my first degree was pop music), then you stand a very good chance of training and becoming a qualified solicitor.
If you have less than this then your life as a lawyer will be considerably harder to start out with. The Legal profession do not view 2:2 degrees as being something that entitles you to practice as a lawyer. It will go against you for the remainder of your career and there is no way round it. I suspect that if you are sat there reading this with a 2:2 degree you have been badly misinformed by anyone who has told you to go into the legal profession. It is not impossible - I have trained and coached many students and graduates who have 2:2 degrees (sometimes even a 3rd) and they have gone onto enjoy rewarding careers as lawyers in some capacity. However, their road into law has been considerably harder as a result of their inability to obtain a 2:1 degree.
So getting back to my statement that if you have excellent academics you should always consider becoming a solicitor so as not to damage your career in the long term by going down the Legal Executive route.
If you do not have excellent academics then you should always consider alternative options and one of these will be to go down the legal executive route.
However I would not recommend paying to undertake a legal executive course until you have legal work experience, you are able to use in the longer term to secure yourself a good legal career.
By this I mean that if you are a student or graduate you should definitely not go straight along to the Institute of Legal Executives and sign up for any legal executive course. If you are going down a non-conventional route into law then academic study once you have completed an undergraduate degree or your A-Levels is completely immaterial. Experience is what matters and nothing else will do. Legal work experience is the key to gaining a successful start into law.
You cannot skip this, circumvent or navigate round it as so many people try every year.
This is why academic institutions have been bought out by overseas companies looking to make a quick buck.
There are a lot of people out there undertaking postgraduate and undergraduate courses with no hope at all of ever finding a job in the profession they are going into.
Furthermore, there are lots of people out there who have the academic qualifications but lack any work experience or activities or interests who similarly are very unlikely to ever get ahead in law or get through the easy way.
No careers adviser will give you this advice, but the main thing to do to get into law is to get experience, more experience and even more experience. This may cost money in itself, and you may say that I have my fees to pay and I have to live. This gets me to my point that if you want to invest in your career then spending money on academic qualifications is not the way to go. Getting experience is and this in itself will cost you money.
To give you a quick example, as I write this a vacancy has come in from one of our central London law firms. They are looking for a fee earner to go and assist for a month or two with a load of admin work. They will pay well for this, and it is a job probably most suited for an LPC graduate.
I have one in mind.
It is not an LPC graduate with a 2:1 law degree or good A levels. It is not an LPC graduate with an LLM from a good university or some sort of summer school academic qualification. It is an LPC graduate with similar experience to that the firm are seeking.
The firm will not give two hoots what the LPC graduate has in terms of additional qualifications but they will study the LPC graduate's work experience to date to decide whether or not to take them on for this particular role.
It is so important to understand this that when somebody says what is the cheapest way into law that there is no easy answer. You cannot just take a decision now that will affect the rest of your career simply on the basis that it may cost one or two thousand pounds more to go one way into the legal profession rather than another.
You will notice that so far I have not mentioned anything about barristers. This is because in my experience training to be a barrister is almost always a complete waste of your money and time. You would probably be shocked to hear this and perhaps put it down to my natural bias against barristers having been a solicitor myself. I would grudgingly accept that probably I am a little biased against barristers having run around courts for them, I've dealt with some pretty awful ones over the years (as well as some absolutely fantastic ones) but the barristers' strand of the profession is pretty much tied up and it is very important to understand this.
The word nepotism could almost have been invented for this part of the profession. Let me give you an example.
Back many years ago when I had just qualified as a solicitor our practice used a local chambers which had a very good reputation in the area and was probably the top set of barristers by a considerable distance. I cannot remember any of their barristers being unsuited or incompetent and most being incredibly talented advocates.
At some stage in my first year after training I remember that they advertised for two pupil barristers to join them. There were a considerable number of applications, as you would expect because this was a top quality set of chambers, outstanding reputation with quality work coming in, in an area where there are not many barristers' chambers.
I do not know how the recruitment process occurred but I do know that the two pupils selected were children of one of the senior barristers in chambers and one of the more junior barristers. I am afraid that the barristers' profession can talk about diversity and equal opportunity to their hearts content but when recruitment like this occurs in a chambers of that size it is completely irrelevant.
It is always going to be the case that if chambers at that level recruit their own then anyone else will either have to set up rival chambers or alternatively work for a lesser standard of chambers.
It may be that the two children of the barristers already in practice were the best suited for the role, and I am sure they went on to be absolutely outstanding barristers but the point is these two people gained their pupillages with chambers to which they were already affiliated through their parents.
Without any sort or recruitment process that eliminates this (and after all why should it - I would have done exactly the same myself as a barrister if my children wanted to practice as barristers!) then this is not a strand of the profession to go into unless you have family or extremely good friends who are able to assist you in your search or pupillage.
The vast majority of people who complete the Bar Professional Training Course do not end up as barristers. They end up working as paralegals or non-qualified lawyers with a views to taking the Legal Practice Course at a future point in their career, costing even more money.
This is a false economy because the cost of completing the Bar Professional Training Course and the  visit here   Practice Course is verging on the ridiculous for the returns that you will get at a later stage in your career.
So in summary I recommend anyone coming into the profession to do one of two things.
1. If you have excellent academics and the ability to add legal work experience to your CV to bolster this then go and try and qualify as a solicitor. Do not go down any other route.
2. If you do not have excellent academics do not go down the route of qualifying to be a solicitor. You can go and get work experience and prove me wrong (and I hope you do) but you would be better suited to a life as a legal executive with a view to cross-qualifying at a later stage by competing the Legal Practice Course or simply being happy doing what you are doing as a legal executive.

Mera lund mein jaise jaise khala ki phudi ko chodney ki rawani ati gai, meri chudai ki speed barhti gai.
Khala jamila jo kuch dair pheley beghair awaz paida kiye mujh par baith kar mere lund ko ragar rahi thi mere tezz jhatkoon ne siskariyaan se kamra ghoonjney laga. Mere dono hath khala ki gand ko pakar kar theak usi tarah jaise chacha ansar apney lund par dabatey thy, usi tarah khala ki chut apney lund par dabaney lage…
Mujhy aesa laga jaise mein 1 fucking machine hoon jo musalsaal 1 hi position mein agey pechey ho kar khala jamila ki khudaai (chudai) kar raha hoon.
Daikhtey hi daikhty mere lund par khala ki phudi ka phir se pani rasney laga tha.

Khala ne apni tangoon ki banai kainchi se azaad kiya aur mere chehrey ko pakar kar mere hontoon ko chomney lagien.
Mera lund abhi tak khala jamila ki phudi k andar majood tha…  khala mujhy relax karne ki apni taraf se koshish kar rahi thien aur mein un k tareeqey k mutabiq relax b ho raha tha.
Thorri der baad main Khala Jamila k upar se jaisey hi utha, khala jamila k muuh se 1 martaba phir siskari sun’ne ko mili aur mein un k barabar mein let gaya.
Khala Jamila abhi b waisi hi laity chaht ko daikhey ja rahi thien aur mein un k chehrey ki taraf… Khala Jamila ko mein hasil kar k mein khud ko kisi b tarah guilty mehsoos nahi kar raha tha.
Mein khala jamila k 42 size k boobs ko musalsaal daikhey ja raha tha( size usi waqat pata chal gya tha jab khala mujhy apni dosri bra dikha rahi thi k aese kholna hai)
Khala hoon ya koi b larki, khud ko kisi ajnabi ko apni taraf daikhna, mehsoos kar laity hain…
Khala ne meri taraf daikha to muskraney lagien.
Khala: aesey kiyoon daikh rahey ho usman? Kiya abhi G nahi bhara???
Mein ne NA mein sir hilaya to khala muskratey howey bolien: aaj k liye itna kaafi hai… aab khana kha laity hain…
Mein aaj bohat khush tha, jab mein ghar pohancha to Chachi Nazia jhuk kar humare ghar ki sifai kar rahi thi. Un ki motti c gand door se daikh kar mera lund kharra hone laga tha lekin dil mein ajeeb sa khiyaal aya
Itni pak saaf auraat ko agar mein hath daloon ga to ye lazmi shor karey aur meri izzat b kharab hog i aur gaon waloon ka b humare khilaaf baatien karne ka moaqa miley ga.
Is liye mein bs door kharra un ki motti c gand ko daikhney laga phir kuch dair baad ehsaas honey par mein ghar k andar dakhil ho gaya.
Chachi nazia ko hum sab piyar se nazi ya chachi nazi keh kar mukhatib kiya kartey thy. Mein ne ghar mein dakhil ho kar chachi nazia ko *** kiya aur Sonia k pas ja baitha. Sonia abhi tak so rahi thi.
Mein ne apna hath Sonia k mathy par rakh kar Sonia k mathey ka temperature check kiya. Abhi b halka halka matha garam tha.
Chachi nazia: mein ne duai dey di thi subha, din ko chawal ki khichrri bana kar di aur us ki baad b duai dey di hai. Abhi soi hai kuch dair baad jagney k baad pata chal jaye ga k Sonia ki tabiyaat kuch behtar hoi hai ya nahi…
Mein chachi ki saari baat ghoor se suni, jab chachi kuch dair k liye ruki to chachi jhuk kar dobara safai karte howey bolien: mere khiyaal mein Sonia dimaghi aur jismani tor par kamzoor ho gai hai. Agar tumhien aitraaz na ho to isey kuch din mere ghar baijh do
Ta’k mein is ka achey se dehan rakh sakoon… agar dil maney to khud b aa jaya karna raat ko
Mujhy apni behan Sonia se haad se ziyada piyar tha is liye chachi se Sonia ki tabiyaat ki kharabi ki waja sun kar mein foran maan gya aur chachi phir se apney kam mein lag gain.
Mein chori chori kuch dair baad chachi k jhukney par un k qameez k galey k andar jhakney ki koshish karta isi tarah jab wo safai kartey howey ghoom jati aur un ki gand ka nazara meri ankhoon k samney ata to mera dil halak mein atak jata…
Mein naha dho kar apney kam mein lag gya thehley k liye mazeed saman tyar kar Omair k ghar peghaim bajhwa diya k wo subh jatey howe mera saman b laita jayee ga.
Raat ko Sonia ko hosh aya to chachi ne khana khilaya aur temperature check  karney k baad Sonia aur mujhy apney ghar chalney ko bolney lagien lekin Sonia k musalsaal inkar ki waja se mein ne chachi k ghar janey se inkar kar diya.
Chachi Sonia k samney thak har kar apney ghar chali gain tab mein utha aur Sonia k barabar laet gya humare ghar mein 2 kamre thy, 1 kamra jis mein baba rehtey thy usi kamrey ko aab hum ne store room bana diya tha q k wahan bar bar jane se baba ki yaad ati thi.
Dosra kamra, kamra nahi tha bs haal hi tha, jahan hum andaar ki taraf sotey thy aur agley hise mein hum khana banatey thy bahir ki taraf toilet tha jise hum dono behan bahi toilet, washroom, bathroom k tor par istemal kartey thy.
Hall k center mein, hum matkey, aur dosra saman rakha kartey thy.
Sonia bister par baithi apney baba k kamrey ki taraaf daikh rahi thi aur mein bs seedha laita apney khiyaaloon mein khoya howa tha. Inhi khiyaaloon mein khoye howe mein so gya. Agley din omair k sath mein apna samaan ley kar gaoon ki market chala gya.
Dukandari k baad mein ne apni bail garri ko omair k hawaley kar diya q k omair aur meri deal hoi thi k jab jab usey meri bail gaarri ki zaroorat para karey gi mujhy bail garri dena ho gi Badley mein, mein apna sara saman (jo bachney k baad b bach jata tha) usey omair, aur umar ki dukan k andar rakh kar gaon wapis ja sakta tha. Isi tarah jab wo wapis gaoon atey to mein apna sara saman jo sham ko tayar kar leta tha usey usi bail gaari par laad (load) kar gaoon ki market ley jaya karoon ga.
Umar aur omair ka kam hum sab se acha tha isi waja se wo rozana gaoon se shehar jatey thy aur apni dukan k liye saman latey thy. Wapsi par dair ho janey par bail garri par hi omair aur umar gaon atey thy.
Mein aaj phir se waqat se pheley gaon k liye nikel aya tha q k mera lund mujhy bar bar tang kar raha tha aur mein khud b naye kam ko ley kar bohat excited ho raha tha.
Jaise jaise omair ka ghar qareeb ata jar aha tha mere dil mein laadoo phot rahey thy aur lund maharaj ka bas nahi chal raha tha k wo abhi se bahir nikal kar rastey mein aney wali larki, auraat ko chod dale…

"Erectile dysfunction drug Viagra may worsen aortic aneurysm"
비아그라 정품 (ingredient: sildenafil) may worsen abdominal aortic aneurysms, a study has found.
An abdominal aortic aneurysm is a phenomenon in which a part of the abdominal aorta, the section where blood from the heart passes through the abdomen, loses elasticity and becomes thinner and inflates like a balloon.
A team of researchers from the Aab Cardiovascular Research Institute at the University of Rochester, USA, has published results from a mouse study showing that Viagra can worsen abdominal aortic aneurysms (EurekAlert) reported on the 6th.
Sildenafil, the main component of 비아그라 정품, inhibits the activity of phosphodiesterase 5 (PDE5), an enzyme that contracts the smooth muscle of blood vessels. said.
First, the team surgically induced small abdominal aortic aneurysms in a group of mice.
The research team divided the mice with an abdominal aortic aneurysm 7 days after surgery into two groups and administered sildenafil diluted in water (equivalent to 60 to 100 mg) to only one group every day for 4 weeks.
After 4 weeks, the area of the abdominal aortic aneurysm was enlarged by an average of 37% in the group of mice administered with sildenafil compared to the control mice not administered with sildenafil.
In addition, the elastic fibers of the abdominal aortic aneurysm were weakened by 50%.
This suggests that sildenafil aggravates the progression of the abdominal aortic aneurysm by disrupting the blood flow control function of vascular smooth muscle cells, the research team explained.
Therefore, men with an aortic aneurysm or at high risk of an aortic aneurysm may be advised to avoid frequent use of 비아그라 정품, the researchers warn.
The aorta consists of three layers, of which the middle layer is composed of smooth muscle cells that regulate blood flow by constricting and relaxing blood vessels. When vascular smooth muscle cells fail to function, the risk of an aortic aneurysm increases.
The findings are published in the latest issue of the Journal of the American Heart Association.

I shared a post on Twitter today detailing how authors can take a little bit more control of their role in marketing and promo. Here are a few of my suggestions: 1: Podcasts 6 months before my release date, I contacted podcasters to see if they'd be interested in featuring me. It's a great way to promo your book while also chatting about publishing & your backlist. Recommended podcasts: Writer Writer Pants on Fire, What Book Hooked You? 2: Author/Book-Friendly Websites If you are open to it, many online pubs are interested in doing interviews or working with you to write an article for their website. I've worked with NerdDaily, Hypable, and Frolic, and they are all very friendly to authors. 3: Giveaways with Other Authors Last February, I was part of a multi-author giveaway for Valentine's Day. All of the authors involved agreed to promote on IG and it was a HUGE success. Working with other authors often takes the pressure off of doing something on your own. 4: Blog Tours/Bookstagram Tours This is the only promo option I recommend that costs a larger bit of $. Some book blog tours are free, while others charge. I saw a big uptick in my GR adds from doing a bookstagram tour. Many companies have several $ options to choose from. 5: Pre-Order Campaigns/ Indie Partnerships If you have a local indie, I highly recommend working with them to do signed preorders. This helps to build momentum for your release date. I've also had success with preorder campaigns which I began 6-8 weeks prior to release. 6: Release Date Countdown What makes your book unique? Were there any special things you had to research? Use the final days before your release to draw in readers with a unique hook via social media. For AABS, I used all the weird medical info I had to research for the book. It's true that there are many things in publishing out of our control. Not everyone will feel comfortable doing marketing/promo on their own, but it's one way to feel like you're doing something to highlight your upcoming book. #bookpromotips #bookmarketingtips #pubtips #yawriter #marketing #bookmarketing #bookpromo #writingcommunity #yawritingcommunity #writersden https://www.instagram.com/p/CObXorNr1Sq/?igshid=wnejdekl7e7g
