What does Amity and belos think of each other in the arofam au?

So Philip knew about the Blight Family, he's well aware of their tech and how powerful they are, but when hunter told him he had made a new friend, the LAST thing he was expecting was rich and powerful amity blight to be who walked through his door.

He knows about her parents, but not about her and her siblings much at all so he has no strong opinion of her right away outside of her status.

He feels incredibly judged in her presence though.

However, hunter having a friend around his age is preferable to him running around the house bored, and he admits he doesn't like to see hunter unhappy, so he welcomes her into his home despite better judgement given his need to avoid attracting attention.

Also, hunter having a rich friend with so much status can only be more helpful for him to progress his tech and sooner get him back to earth.

However, with amity not really helping him at all, and over time, he does grow to respect her more as a person and think less about how she might benefit him and hunter. Watching her struggle with trying to repair her past with willow reminds him of his relationship with his brother and even when he's not sure it can be fixed, he understands all too well the desire to wish you made better choices and want to fix your mistakes.

Her dead honestly is also admirable to him, given his issues with lying and keeping secrets.

Amity on the other hand.....is...very weirded out by him at first, sure, hunter was weird when they first met, but she appreciated how much hunter didn't judge her and was willing to help her out....even when he failed.

But She's heard about the man in the woods, the most wanted man on the isles, he's considered this dangerous monster all witches should avoid at all costs....

and she panics when hunter happily takes her to meet him, finding out hunter lives with him

and while yes, he IS kinda intimidating, she was not expecting this warmer voiced, soft looking old man, who seems kinda gross and far less dangerous then she was led on to be.

Her early on worry does fade away when seeing him interact with hunter and when he makes his home a safe space for her, a place she can go to avoid the pressures of her parents. A reason why she never rats him out to the authorities.

For a moment he's almost like the dad she wishes her dad was, since he seems actually interested in her own goals. She kinda pities him in some ways, given in retrospect, he's minding his own business and seems to want nothing more then to escape from what he did, a feeling she has had as well.

Guess you can say they start off a bit unsure of the other till over time they are on good terms entirely.

Some advice from AU Calebs!

Heck yeah I did it! Finally i finished ONE of the HUNDREDS AU crossover ideas I have in my head!! Crossovers are fun guys!! (I apologise for a bad english in advance. Writing this it a rush.)

I couldn't make a crossover meme without the legend. Sorry, not sorry. He is such a sad lad but tries to stay positive and be happy for his family uydfykudsutsudskudsluds (*dies*). I have to admitt, Caleb's dad energy is too strong for me to handle without wanting a hug him. No wonder! He was THE grandpa for centuries straight without a break. At least Caleb gets his whole family together in the end. Comics with him and either Hunter and Philip or Luz and Eda make me run in cirles around the room aaaa.

Damn, you definetly created one of the darkest AU in the fandom. Each time I re-read AU related posts I scream my lungs out because it is so angsty and so great. I am genuinely scared of your Belos ngl, because.. this man didnt loose anything and he still proceeds to do all that stuff. Enconter with him has 0 survival rate.

POOR CALEB! At least in the world of memes he had an opportunity to flee the captivity twice (the bald head and the car). This man had no moment of mental rest for centuries oh my God. One of my friends wants to fight his brother personally to protec Caleb at all cost sksksk. Well, at least Hunter will always have an actually loving relative! And if the happy ending is going to be canon, I think the future looks great, especially knowing how much pain all your characters go through currently. (And I think both Caleb and Hunter would need the "you are not a burdain" affirmations. At least some form of support in their situation.)

You said in the latest ask-answer that BK!Caleb was supposed to have white streaks in his hair so I attempted to add them. Hope they look fine! Colors for the outfit I got from Belos, so they would match, I guess???

My bro, brother, friend... Despite you being not to involved on the discord server, my brain is still rotting with your great awesome AUs. And I know you know that. Your Caleb is really loose in all sences of that word and I love that. Wonder if your AUs will ever be available to the public. Because oh boy oh boy they deserve to be recognised. (Loose Caleb is such a conservative grandpa who never did anything wrong, wdym?)

Honestly? Man, your comic is the reason I got invested in Witteclaw couple at all. Even if the "Pip in time" is not their story, but you wrote their teen romance so sweetly. Those two melted my heart... I scream each time I re-read your comic for 100th time. Just WOAH my brain goes brrr! And Caleb as a character is also written really really well. I love him so much. He is such good brother but MAN HE NEEDS A BREAK FROM BEING AN ADULT! BOY! Insirt crying and heart emojis here.

My thoughts:

I have been drawing this for more than a month I think? And the only reason for that is my university. I hope to actually get an ADHD diagnosis because something is clearly wrong with me. But thats not the point.

There are so many ideas in my head. Goofy and not. The only problem is that I have less and less ability to do what I want lately. I wish I could bring them all to life, but at the same I dont know if anyone will be interested. Would AU crossovers look too self-indulgent? Or nah? Idk. (Just Grimwalker-Isle already has so much potential for stupid ridiculous fun I am runnin on coffee juice.)

Litteraly my mind is plagued with different fun plots and possibilities I am going crazy. But I also have A TON of WIPs that I need to finish. Perhaps I will attempt to manage everything at once, but, no promises.

Wish me luck on my exams!

Did you ever talk about how belos and kiki meet?

i actually have

see kiki was between jobs for years, dealing with her rough relationship with her family, and not knowing what to do with her life, and at this point she was just a garbage woman

next thing she knows, she finds this weird man....digging through trash, collecting scraps and human things.

she initially tries to kick him out, but this old man is surprisingly nimble and a good fighter and she's caught off guard and tied up

he doesn't kill her though, he goes right back to what he was doing while she insults him, claiming his actions are going to cost her her job

and this sparks a conversation between the two, he claims he's getting what he needs and he'll be gone, that it's non important trash, and if she had let him be she might of been fine. Kiki tells him off that he just doesn't care about who he's affecting and he just lets her go out of pity.

She starts getting upset and crying, because she hates this job in reality, but she needs something so her family doesn't think of her as a failure, that she would much rather be doing something more meaningful and making a mark on the world.

And he tells her that she's wasting her time bothering with her scummy family, that family can disappoint sometimes and you can prove yourself without their approval.

She....really appreciates the sentiment, not really hearing anyone think of her that way before.

She wants more of that, and it leads to her moving into his house, where she gets paid under him, is away from her family, and might get to actually prove herself....even if that means by scaring the citizens of the isles as his sidekick. I think she gets a real adrenaline rush from working under him and having power and confidence for the first time in her life.

There's a reason she thinks so highly of him after the fact.

and yes, with him meeting hunter in his lab after trash collecting and finding steve's body IN the dump, philip meeting all of them through trash is basically a running joke.

so over a year ago i made this as a collab piece with @yogurthoopsart 's au @toh-tagteam-au, where i did half a comic and they finished the other half with their au hunter interacting with my au's characters and we posted them together.

they uh, never finished their side of the collab sadly, and it's been over a year, so i guess since the collab seems to be off after i asked them if it was.....i might as well post my half since i spent so much time on it and would rather it didn't go to waste.

It's really a shame, i was looking forward to having seen it finished and seeing more adventures of this au crossover, especially with their hunter and my au characters and sharing it with you guys, but i hope this will suffice despite it being old now.
