Hi kanmom! I hope you've had or are having a good day 😊 I gotta say, as more time goes on its the more I think the guys know exactly what the common topic of conversation is on social media. Especially at the times where discourse gets to kArmy and they have to address certain things.

A few hours ago the vegas stadium made a statement saying throwing things on stage will be banned after there was an outcry online for how unsafe it probably is for people to keep throwing stuff at the guys. Namjoon mentioning how he knows people like to rile up army online by talking mess about BTS and him telling us not to interact with haters cause it affect them as BTS mentally. It makes it seem like he's actively in comment sections reading.

And in general, idols and western celebs are in fact in their online spaces. There was a picture of a singer named Normani where you could see on her phone that she was on the twitter or one of her fan pages. Another singer named Halle just came on twitter to stop a rumor saying she got a boob job and I'm a fan of hers but even I didn't know that her deep fandom spaces were talking about that.

And on the idol side, one of the other groups I follow has mentioned their staff telling them about things they've seen online. So even if they themselves haven't seen it, they are being informed of what's going on.

And I say all this to say that jikook and BTS on a whole has to know what's going on online. Especially because taekookers have gotten so unhinged in the past few days following the concert bridal carries. And I wanna see how that affects what happens at the concerts coming up. or if it affects anything at all.

As a sidenote: It's been while since jungkook's live but damn did it say a lot that he was being bombarded with taekookers during that live and decided to answer a question about jimin. Unless staff are hand picking comments in real time and sending it to him, he sees all those comments and he saw all the taekook comments that no doubt came in when he did the instagram ask me anythings.

And I just... that bridal carry said a lot imo. All of this can't just be a coincidence 😭😭

Oh, I do think that they are aware of what's going on on sm. Do they know the nitty gritty, that I'm not sure of, but they are on Weverse, we know that, they are on YT (JK knew who Cameron Philip was). There is a reason JM steered away from sm.

I doubt they read my posts, lol, but they are aware of the trends on sm. JK & JM, both, posting consecutively the same day that their hickey trends is far from a coincidence.

So, I think it's safe to also assume that at times they will react to said trends.

As for the Vlive, they see the comments as they role in. It is definitely his choice to ignore those he wants to or to react to others he wants to.

We've seen JK and Tae during their Maknae line Vlive in LA frown at an abusive comment that came in (towards JM of course) and we saw JM and NJ get upset during an ot7 Vlive reading an anti JM comment.

Even in the last VminHopekook vlive, at the end, when they were saying their goodbyes, there is a second there when you can see JM looking at the screen, and his facial expression sours, he lets go of Hobi and he, in turn looks to him. This is same Vlive that from the moment JK joined TKKs were bombarding them with TKK comments. And no, JM isn’t bothered by Tae hugging JK behind him, said hug goes on way before JM’s reaction. He himself is hugging Hobi. This happens a couple of seconds after, after they ask the fans to give them words, and JM is reading the comments. You can see the change in his facial expression, similar expression he had in that ot7 live I mentioned.

I can see Jensen not telling J*red even if they are still friends, because J*red is kinda good at accidentally telling Secrets. He could have told him right before he announced it so, so that J*red didn't have to find out from twitter. He was on the show for 15 years, he is bound to get asked about it. The public twitter meltdown was really unprofessional so. Like you have Jensen's number J*red. You could have sorted that out in private like a normal person, but instead you choose to act like a toddler throwing a tantrum.

Is it weird that I'm actually going to be kinda that for them if the actually had a falling out, even tho I don't like J*red all that much. They seemed to be really important to each other and while I thought before that the might have triefted apart a bit, I didn't think that the where actively fighting.

Tanaka Minami WUG Blog: 8/16/17

Hello, it’s Minami! Lately I’ve had the privilege to record a wonderful song! I’m so glad to have completed it! I really want everybody to listen to it as soon as possible! I can’t stop all this excitement!

The latest chapter of Scorching Ping Pong Girls! It’s being serialized in Tonari no Young Jump but the last chapter with Ariga-chan! She was so cool that I got goosebumps! I really hope it gets animated again so everybody can watch it!

It’s summer vacation time now! Although the Obon Festival holiday has already passed… I wonder where everybody else went? When I was a student, I used to stay over at my grandmother’s house for a while and play games with my cousin. I remember riding my bicycle along the rice paddy roads too~

Putting aside all that nostalgia, I went bowling with the cast of Assassination Classroom! ***TL Note: Minami voiced Okano Hinata in Assassination Classroom

I-i-it was lots of fun!

It was the best! Back then my scores used to be filled with gutter balls, but… This time around I kept on getting spares, and by some miracle I got a strike! I was so happy!!! Next time I hope to get a score over 120! Later that day we had dinner which was so delicious!

I’m glad we were able to keep up with each other share our stories with each other ever after we finished recording for the series. Those days back then with Assassination Classroom were really great. I was so nervous back then, but I’m so glad to have gone through such a meaningful experience.

So I heard that #OurHolyGrailWar was trending on Twitter. Some time ago we did a group pull in FGO including Kana Ueda and Mafia-san. During that time I was the first to pull Caster Nero, heheh. I usually do pulls by myself but it was really pleasant doing it together with other people. I don’t have a Twitter account, so I was really grateful that Takahashi Rie-san could put out my gacha pulls! I’m thankful.

So the result was Caster Nero, 2 Fran-chans, 2 Nobus, and a bunch of event craft essence. Umu, I got the whole rotation. As soon as I pulled Caster Nero, I could feel the entire room shaking because of Kajita Mafia-san lol. Even though I rolled Nobu multiple times, I could only draw Nito just once…

Before I knew it I had already done 20 ten rolls since the first day of the event and max leveled Nito as soon as I could. In total during the group pull, we had 10 Sheets Nito pulled. But then overnight, Bun-san had drawn 5 Nitos (You did it!) Also, when Abe-san got Waver, he sent it to Mita-san. Kana-san just got Holmes. And Shimazaki couldn’t really get anything… Overall it was such a chaotic but fun time! I was pretty happy!

I got Nero to NP lvl 2! Woooow, kids these days sure grow fast! However, I still haven’t given up on getting my Nito to Noble Phantasm level 5! I’ll report it as soon as I do! I’m looking forward to the second part of the event! I hope you all enjoy it too!

Now then, on the 11th I went to the Rara Maji event at Summer Comiket! I was so glad to see lots of Tuners there! I love Tsubasa! Quite a few people told that she was their oshi! I also got her t-shirt! So many people tried pulling for Yukata Tsubasa, I could feel their overflowing love!

So when looking at Tsubasa’s story… There’s some part of her that even I’m still not aware of. Hurry up Tsubasa’s story! Is how I feel lol. I was glad to have talked a lot about the game. Thanks for sticking around during the hot weather! Please continue supporting Tsubasa-chan!

And then on the 13th, was WUG’s 4th Live Tour in Oomiya!

I really love our white one piece dresses. Whenever we did spins it’d go “HIRA HIRA~~~!” Occasionally I’d get blown away a little lol.

It was our 2nd time there but I was so glad so many people came! Yup yup, after going through so many venues I can see everybody quite clearly now. In the past I was really frantic about myself and I couldn’t get a good view of everyone. With that in mind, I tried relaxing a little more at lives. Yoppi, on the other hand, told me that it’s very unlikely for me not to cross eyes with anybody at a live lol.

At the Oomiya performance I felt the audience even more. I want to try my hardest at lives and have everyone enjoy it! I’ll do my best! And that’s that!

So this time around a new gacha has started! Granblue Fantasy Swimsuit gacha! There’s Swimsuit Diansa along with Linaria too! But anyways there’s a ton of voices on that card! Linaria’s swimsuit is so cuuuute! Everyone is so cuuuuuuute~! My eeyes! Please please try hard to get them!

Another thing! The DVD of “Wake Up Girls, Pajama Party Ganbappe!” was released at Comiket! I wonder if there were some people who bought it?? It has me acting how I usually do outside of work, so I hope you watch it! It sure was fun playing a werewolf lol.

Also the PriPara Christmas Dream Live is out now on DVD and Bluray too! In it I sang in the units Triangle and NonSugar! ***TL Note: Minami’s characters in the series are Pinon (aka Non Manaka), Junon, and Kanon. Those 3 characters make up the entirety of Triangle, while Non Manaka is part of the newer unit, NonSugar.

My performance with Triangle was… Interesting. I was pretty frantic there too, yep lol. It was Non-Sugar’s first time performing so we’re looking forward to more performances! Thank you very much!

Why does a 24 y/o stanning a korean boy group called BTS?

First things first: Why not?

Who is BTS anyways? Just to give you a brief explanation, though. BTS is a seven-member korean boy group under Big Hit Entertainment. They debuted on June 13, 2013. BTS stands for Bangtan Sonyeondan means Bulletproof Boyscouts and recently they added another meaning to BTS which is Beyond The Scene and the rest is you can find it on Google since he knows everything lol.

So as I was saying, why does a 24 yo like me stanning a Korean boy group? I started being a kpop fan back when I was in highschool. But I was like a low-key or silent fan since all I have was MYX. I always watched Myx Daily Top 10 and International Countdown every weekend. That’s how my fangirl life looked like back then and when I started going into college, I stopped being a fan. Of course, I will watch their MVs on Youtube but that’s it. College stuff consumed me back then.

But I always watch K-Dramas if I have time. Even when I finished college, I always watched few of trending K-Dramas. But I told myself that K-Pop is a different thing – as much as possible, I don’t wanna involve myself in that category because I know myself damn too much. I’m gonna fall in love right way and I’d be crazy to do anything for a group.

Then why am I an ARMY now?

Oh, A.R.M.Y is the name of the fandom of BTS and it stands for Adorable Representative M.C for Youth.

So, I was saying.. T’was because of Namjoon. This happened during pre-con finals in NBA because aside from Golden State Warriors (yep, I’m a Warriors fan, too. Go Dubs!), a certain group was always in my timeline on twitter. I can vividly remember that Soompi posted this: BTS’s Rap Monster Casts Group Members As “FRIENDS” Characters.

That article triggered everything because I love FRIENDS too much I can’t even deny that aside from Namjoon taught himself the English language but FRIENDS made a huge impact on this matter. He loves FRIENDS then this man is something, I said to myself. I watched for the first few days their funny moments, what are they look like when they’re not performing. Youtube was my friend that time! I was watching Things You Should Know About BTS, BTS Funny or Cute Moments, Try Not To Fangirl, Try Not To Cry Challenge, 8 Minutes of Jin Laughing, BTS Being Savage and etc.

I don’t want to watch their MVs because I wasn’t prepared to get killed by 7 Korean Men who will never ever know that I exist. I know that’s kinda weird but… uhm, well, I am weird.

But I gave in okay, like couple of days after. The first MV that I watched was No More Dream and the rest is History. I started from their rookie days up to the very recent ones because I wanna make up for almost 4 years of not knowing them.

And I finally told myself, “You’re an ARMY and that feels so good to say.” I even told to myself that you’ll do anything to see them live, to actually hear them singing their songs, to actually be in an ocean of ARMY and that promise is not a joke. You will see them live, you will support them because those guys taught you even though you’re a 24 caught up in this life, and it’s never too late to find your dreams – to achieve them. To pursue what really makes you happy and ignore those who think you can’t go anywhere. And most importantly, to love yourself.

I can actually justify why does someone like me stan a group called BTS. I can use thousand words – I can do that but I guess that will never be enough to describe why BTS is being loved by millions of people all over the world. What makes them so different with the other groups? There are lots of factors but maybe I will say two things: their characteristics and their songs. Aside form being so catchy, their songs also tackle different issues that most of idol groups afraid not to dwell on. Oh, also writing and producing mostly of their songs. I guess that’s a good thing when you’re from a company that doesn’t control everything - that they can actually make their songs that represents themselves.

To this day, BTS is unstoppable and will dominate the entire music industry. Not only in their own country or here in Asia but all over the world. To actually see them recognized by some western artists is just a proof that indeed their music is something and having different language is not a hindrance to connect with people.

The “exclusive” story?

Saying he had “no problem with somebody being really, really wealthy,” Reid sat up in his chair a bit before stirring the pot further. A month or so ago, he said, a person who had invested with Bain Capital called his office.

“Harry, he didn’t pay any taxes for 10 years,” Reid recounted the person as saying.

“He didn’t pay taxes for 10 years! Now, do I know that that’s true? Well, I’m not certain,” said Reid. “But obviously he can’t release those tax returns. How would it look?

Oh, well. A person. He’s not certain, but how can we know? He’s “not certain,” but that doesn’t stop him from claiming that an investor is certain of Romney’s personal business?

How would "a person who had invested with Bain Capital" know about Romney's personal tax returns anyway?
