The Hilliker Brothers as Dogs?
We all know what Saw-Tooth is
If he isn't a Caucasian Shepherd then what else 😂
One-Eye, maybe a Cane Corso, seems fitting for him.
While Three-Fingers, gotta be a Xoloitzcuintli. Not really an aggressive breed but we'll make this an acception and I know some will say Chihuahua, and yes he could also be, but we'll give him this.
Or a Whippet, for the speed and agility.

Since I’m loving the concept of “accidental husbands”, I present you Steve being tired of his family assuming his relationship with Eddie is just a phase and he will marry some girl in the future, so he starts referring to Eddie as his husband.
He enjoys his parents’ outraged reaction so he keeps doing it until it becomes normal for him and one day he’s doing something as simple as ordering take out and Steve says “oh, and my husband will have…” with Eddie next to him.
Steve doesn’t even notice what he just said but oh boy, Eddie does.

to forgive or forget
more lore for what ive got going on with carnival hero, for those who wanted to know why he doesnt particularly like kinger.
i like to think kinger was working on the code to remove the collars for a hefty amount of time. poor kinger tried so hard to perfect the code to release his people, but it was particularly hard for obvious reasons. he tried it so many times ; and when it finally worked, it was like a miracle. queenie, along with everyone else was overjoyed!
of course, it wasnt entirely perfect. sometimes, things go wrong when you take your excitement for granted. sacrifices get made, sometimes accidentally. the lovely king ends up forgetting about this sacrifice that was made, like he always does. the reason why shes gone fades in his mind like a bruise.
but others dont forget, nor forgive. hero never forgot this unnecessary sacrifice. he understood everything clearly after that. the collars are there for a reason. sometimes its better to be safe, to stay in ones own lane. to stay confined where you belong, where to remain unchanged is promised. for the greater good.

So, I remembered when in a Devilgram Luicfer in a way compared MC to cherry blossoms
Btw image order is wrong they go the other way around but I put it in that order so it makes things easier, anyways:
Right you see the highlighted one right? ‘Fleeting’ He just fully outright said that cherry blossoms die fast. And then compared them to MC. (Also yes cherry blossoms have a very short life and it symbolises that time is fleeting- one of the things it symbolises at least)
I just felt like… wow. That actually hurts if you think about it. He really said he knows and admits out loud MC is going to die one day and fast. I mean, that’s basically what he said right? Personally I would have picked up on the word ‘fleeting’ because I’d then start to feel bad.
I’m not sure if I’m wrong but I don’t think we’ve seen the brothers talk about MC’s short life that much (in a depressing way). I remember Mammon mentioning it probably somewhere? And I remember the brothers talking about human lifespan in general once in Nightbringer but… not much other than that.
But from this I’m guessing that Lucifer has probably come to terms with it and now all he wants is to enjoy his time with MC while they are alive, but I also feel that he only believes he thinks it this way. But when MC really does die he won’t be able to accept it. Honestly can’t imagine any of the brothers would especially at the start.
If anyone has any lessons or anywhere of anyone talking about mc’s short lifespan I’d love to see it please! Like I want to know how much potential angst they’ve really put out there.

I just saw that you don't liked Maynard's character in Wrong Turn 5 either, and I have SO MUCH to say about it too. I watched the movie again and OMFG, what an insufferable and EDGY character, completely out of place, how can the kids be afraid of him? How is he going to hit SAWTOOTH???
LEAVE THEM ALONE DAMN OLD MAN DON'T TOUCH THEM DON'T EVEN LOOK AT THEM YOU ABANDONED THEM ALL THEIR LIVES AND NOW YOU WANT TO GIVE THEM ORDERS??? HOW DARE YOU
🥺👉👈
Compared to WT1 and WT2 he's a completely different character, I just dislike the portrayal of him and the boys cause they made Saw-Tooth so fucking dumb like?????? and Maynard could have been this awesome dad who is terrified of his sons because they're estranged to him, but he still wants to take them home
The director and writers for the film just got our boys so completely wrong, how do we go from 'Protective big brother who will stand between them and hostile outsiders' to 'haha you asked for a hand here's a severed hand, oh no dad's hitting me'
I will say it's kinda funny how he's mouthing off in the cell like 'My boys are gonna come here and get you and get me out' and in reality for the whole night they're just fucking around cause they were probably sick of being around that old messy wet fart, only going
Either way that depiction of the whole family just sucks ass, the three boys are just not themselves, they're pathetic, stupid and too cartoonily goofy and I think that's where things went downhill for Wrong Turn, some might say 4 is what made it go downhill but they're morons and don't know a good movie about brotherly interaction when it hits them in the face. It's 100% 5 where it all went to shit, 3 is also bad but not as bad as 5.
I'll always be peeved about Saw-Tooth cowering away from being hit by a man barely reaching up to his chest like bro, you can backhand that wrinkly fuck through the wall!
Wrong Turn 1 and 4 Saw-Tooth would body slam Maynard for just looking his way lol.
But yes fuck Wrong Turn 5 Maynard, i don't know what anyone who was making that movie was thinking, that portrayal of him sucked, doesn't fit the movies and just felt like he was trying to be the main villain star when it's meant to be the boys, like step down you old fucker you ain't even done anything throughout the whole movie other than get your ass caught, pathetic.

Rest Stop
Written for the prompt ‘rest’ for @steddiemicrofic
387 words / rated T / pre-slash
Recreational drug use
There’s a rest stop on the decommissioned road a little ways out of Hawkins. It’s not a lot of anything, a tin roof over a picnic table, but Steve likes it. Thinks of it as ‘his’ spot, even though Tommy H told him about it. But it’s a good place to be alone. To, well, rest.
And, sure, Hawkins is full of places like that, quiet, empty places, and alone isn’t something Steve likes to be that much, but nights like tonight…
He sighs, tips his beer to his lips. It doesn’t hit him often, but when it does, it’s a restless itch; he can get away from Hawkins, from his house, his job, his nonexistent love life, but he can’t get away from that feeling. Out here he gets close, though.
Tonight, his solitude is short-lived. Footsteps make Steve tense, and a deep voice cuts through the night: “Steve?”
The tension drains; Steve turns. “Hey, Eddie.”
Eddie blinks. “I found you.” He scratches his head, nods at the table Steve’s sitting on. “Mind if I…?”
“It’s a free country.”
“So I’m told.” Eddie’s lips quirk; he sits beside Steve, pulling a joint from his jacket. He waggles it; Steve nods.
“Why were you looking for me?”
An orange flame sparks from Eddie’s lighter, catching the end of the joint. “I wasn’t.” Eddie takes a drag, gives the joint to Steve.
“You said you found me…”
“Don’t have to be looking for you to find you.”
Steve shakes his head. “All right.” He takes a hit, relishing the pleasant buzz, passes it back.
“What brings the valiant Sir Steve out here?”
“I like the quiet.”
“That a hint for me to shut my yap?”
“No.” Steve knocks their shoulders together. “I like listening to you talk.” Why did he say that? He doesn’t really care. Huh.
Surprise flickers over Eddie’s face, but it settles into something pleased. “Good.” He winks. “Because I have plenty of stories to tell.”
After a few moments, Steve says, “Well,” waving his hand, “go ahead.”
Eddie’s eyes sparkle; he starts talking, gesticulating wildly, and Steve realizes the restlessness is gone. Maybe it’s the weed. He’s pretty sure it’s all Eddie.
Okay. Something to look at later. For now, he basks in Eddie’s voice and the easy, restful feeling of being near him.
