This could not be anymore true than this!  I have learned this all the more since being married to my wonderful handsome Husband!  It’s not always about the sex, but its about connecting on a deeper level!  Of course sex is an important part of marriage, but I can honestly say that it’s not the most important thing, not in my marriage anyways!  The most important thing to me in my marriage is trust, honesty, & communication!  If I can’t have all those things with my Husband, then I don’t feel like I can connect with him on an intimacy level, both mental and physical. The world today just seems to crave sex!  I have been seeing alot of it lately!  It just drives me crazy.  I can tell you this much...if I couldn’t have sex with my Husband the rest of our lives together, I would still be happy just being with him!  I mean yes, I’m human & would want that kind of intimacy with him, but I could still live without it!  Just saying!

Psalm 25:4-7

“Show me your ways, O Lord, teach me your paths; guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and hope is in you all day long. Remember, O Lord, your great mercy and love, for they are from of old. Remember not this sins of my youth and my rebellious ways; according to your love remember me, for you are good, O Lord.” Psalm 25 4-7 (NIV) 

No matter our circumstance we must seek God for guidance because we are only human and don’t have the ability to know what this life has in store for us. Your path and way is so much greater than we could every imagine. Through prayer we talk to God to ask for help which is what David instructs us to do. We can pray these verses to God because it is a simple realization that we can’t do this on our own. We are also reminded of Gods great mercy, love and his forgiveness. No matter how many times we read or talk how great God is we always have to be reminded of these simple characteristics of Christ. 

Personally I consistently have to be reminded because this world has so many different expectations of us and if we allow that to control our life we will never be good enough. But God tells us that we seek Him and that He is full of more mercy, love and forgiveness than we even know what to do with. I am filled with the Holy Spirit and continue to strive to be more like Christ everyday. 1/25/17

Too Tired To Try

If the world made sense then nothing would be driven to be better. If everything was in perfect harmony then there would be no reason for there to be change. We try so hard to make everything perfect in the world when we know that there’s no capability of a logical world. People don’t make sense, jobs don’t make sense, we are conned out of anything that matters because Heaven forbid someone getting a little respect for all their hard work. It’s mind boggling and soul torturing to try so hard for something and realize that you’ll never be good enough for what you’re trying to accomplish. It’s tiring and when you come to the conclusion that you’ll never be good enough, it’s on;y a matter of time before you stop trying in complete.
