FNAF MOVIE SPOILERS BEYOND THIS POINT..
I have MANY THOUGHTS about Mike's family and here they are
Tumblr media
Okay so I've been thinking and there is NO WAY Mike Schmidt isn't related to Afton.
When we see the actual William Afton reveal, the picture Vanessa shows of her as a kid features the little orange plane.
Tumblr media
This SAME PLANE is the one Garett has in all of Mike's flashbacks, on the day he got taken. When Afton himself shows up, he says "first I killed your brother, now I kill you." Which confirms that yes, he was the one who took Garett on that fateful day.
How would Afton have known to be there? He likely didn't take Garett on instinct because it happened so fast, plus Garett didn't seem scared in the car so he must have known Will to some extent. Plus, it's in a NATIONAL PARK. Was he just waiting there??? Or was it revenge?
I think that Mike's mother remarried from the Aftons, and ended up with Mr Schmidt, who she must have married semi-recently if Garett didn't seem scared about Afton's presence. She possibly could have had an affair that Mike was simply unaware of, or he just never knew his real father, that being William Afton.
Going back to the plane- Vanessa had it, as did Garett. Sure, I'm not saying that there's only one of those planes in existence, but this is FNAF we're talking about.
Either Afton took the plane from Garett after killing him and gave it to Vanessa, or Garett and Mike's side of the family got to keep it when Mrs Schmidt separated from Afton.
This also ties to when 'Steve Raglan' was shocked into silence and leaned in to examine Mike's face after reading the name Schmidt. Either he recognized the surname of one kid he killed over a decade ago, or he recognized the family name of the man his ex-wife married. William Afton recognized his son, and his son simply doesn't remember him.
"They say everything you learn in life, down to the last detail, is stored inside your brain. All you have to do is remember."
This EXACT QUOTE from Mike seems a little too on-the-nose when taken into this context.
Now, when we look at it all, we have Mike Schmidt and Vanessa... who are really Michael Afton and Vanessa Afton.
Vanessa is conveniently in a coma at the end of the movie too, so she can't immediately clear up this information until the sequel. The SAVETHEM-style letters read out in the credits also say "COMEFINDME", which directly references the "now.. I'm going to come find you." Line from Michael Afton at the end of Sister Location, in reference to Springtrap. His father. William Afton.

Fnaf movie notes, spoilers ahead:
First off, fuck Scott Cawthon, let's just say I didn't watch the movie in theaters or on a streaming service.
What I liked:
Matthew Lillard actually looks like William Afton
The "Talking in Your Sleep" cameo was the best one of the movie, next to "I have a theory"
Cory was funny, as expected
I liked how they made the animatronics just kids, they want a friend.
The way the animatronics moved was great, I just wish we could have gotten a foxy running scene.
The cinematography and set design inside the pizzeria was great, and everywhere outside felt very real.
The animatronics were cute when I was supposed to like them and foreboding when I was supposed to be scared of them. I don't know if they physically changed the suits but it works.
Mike's actor was actually pretty good at looking distressed or upset.
I just want to hug the animatronics they are so cute 🥺🥺
The animatronics weren't sadistic, when they killed someone it was because they were trying to get them out or away. Just like if an actual little kid had that power, they wouldn't be cruel or even want to kill anyone, they just don't understand their own power
There actually were five nights!
Springtrap wiping the knife is a reference to Scream, where Matthew Lillard played Ghostface, who is known for wiping their knife after using it.
BALLOON BOY
What I didn't like:
You're telling me they named their main character Mike and they didn't have Afton go "MIKE! MICHAEL!!! MICHAEL DON'T LEAVE ME HERE!!!!! *MICHAEL!*
Vanessa was a nothing burger, even when her motivation was revealed it wasn't that good. I think it would have been better if they set up that she was working with Afton
Golden Freddy was everywhere but they didn't namedrop the kid once, and it was so inconsistent. He's here, he's not here. I'm assuming it's a combination of Cassidy and the Crying Child.
Afton's connection to the story is flimsy. Why was he pretending to be Raglan? I'm assuming it's so he could get night guards to toy with, that's why the animatronics killed the intruders but not Mike.
It's kind of weird thinking about the logic of how Afton killed Mike's brother, and gave his daughter the plane. Just seems a little bit of a stretch.
Even though I hate excessive gore, I thought there wasn't half as much violence as there should have been. I guess the PG-13 rating constricted a lot.
It takes a broom to activate what I'm assuming is a Circus Baby reference springlock, but Afton can jump around in Spring Bonnie.
The only Purple Guy reference we got was a purple tie. They should have made the security vest purple.
Questions
How is the cupcake sentient?
How does Afton control the kids?
Who cleaned up the blood of the four intruders? I'm guessing Afton but I wish they'd made it more clear
Why didn't Afton send out the animatronics on the first night? Even if he wanted to kill Mike, he seems like the type to psychologically torture people beforehand.
Why was there an "it's me" note? I get the reference, but why? Is Mike's brother here?
What's the Freddy mask with the saws inside? I know Afton uses it to kill people but why does it exist?
Why does Balloon Boy exist? Do the toy animatronics exist in this universe??
Why doesn't foxy have a tail?????
Favourite character: Foxy
If we get a sequel I hope we only get one or two. I don't want a whole cinematic universe. Finding ways to watch 12 movies 'other ways' will get complicated.
Also when the casting was revealed, I didn't know who Matthew Lillard was and someone told me he played live action Shaggy, so I didn't know he played fuckin STU FROM SCREAM until I watched the movie, so another cameo technically, just only for me

Can i ask for Hajime, Makoto, Nagito and K1-B0 x reader that’s the Ultimate Unlucky Student? If this isn’t too much ^^ take your time because four characters can be a lot sometimes
hajime, makoto, nagito and k1-b0 with an s/o who's the ultimate unlucky student
type : headcanon, gn!reader
note : i'm assuming this is supposed to be in a headcanon format (sorry if not,,), this is overall just cute stuff :} i got a lil carried away, hope you don't mind! i apologize for the wait, i've been getting into fnaf lately,,,, springtrap,,,
requested : yes! greetings simp :D
Tumblr media
Hajime Hinata
hajime would be very confused at first, he'd ask if it's similar to nagito's ultimate and if it's a cycle of good and bad luck. when you told him it wasn't and shit was just constantly hitting the fan, he got a little worried.
it's usually small things like you falling face first on the ground because you forgot to tie your shoes, every animal known to man constantly attacking you or the coins falling out of your wallet whenever you tried to buy anything from a vending machine to be never seen again. yet sometimes, it would ruin dates the two of you wanted to have.
one time - when the two of you started dating - you decided to go to the beach to have a date. it was the middle summer and there weren't any clouds in the sky, yet the moment the two of you finished setting everything up it started raining. the worst part is as soon as both of you went home the sky cleared. hajime would be the type to awkwardly show up at your doorstep right after the failed date, soaking wet, asking if "you had room for two in your house".
overall, i don't think he'd take it too hard. even if some hangouts fail there's always room for more. he'd worry, of course, but not to the point where he'd restrict your movement and choices (only if you have the risk of getting ran over or something).
Tumblr media
Makoto Naegi
he's definitely the type to be constantly worried. although he is the ultimate lucky student he can only hope that his ultimate is enough to balance yours out (which usually just ends up the two of you sharing lucky and unlucky experiences).
before going out he'd tie your shoes extra tight, make sure you have a jacket if it's cold out or an umbrella if it's raining - with a smaller, spare umbrella inside your backpack if the first one broke. bought by the man himself! he'd be the type to grab your hand before crossing the road but not let you cross unless everything was right. by this i mean, no cars in the street, shoes tied, hand held, nothing in the way.
at the start of your relationship makoto thought he was being a bit too much but when you almost got ran over as you crossed the seemingly empty road he decided he could never be too sure.
altogether, he's worrying a lot. not in an annoying way, more of a "you're my troublesome child and i'll never let you out of my sight" type of way.
Tumblr media
Nagito Komaeda
oh no. the good luck? still there. not a lot though. the bad luck? double. the cycle is still there, it's just that now whenever something bad happens it's two times worse.
nagito would be very nonchalant over both your talents and not let it get in the way of your dates. for example, if it started raining heavily during a walk and he noticed it was starting to flood the streets he'd try to convince you to go buy floaties to float down the street together. hopefully his good luck comes around quickly! you don't feel like getting stuck somewhere or drowning.
if you did get hurt he'd degrade himself - even if why or how you got hurt had nothing to do with him - and pay for your hospital bills. i feel like nagito would be the type to pamper his partner a lot with little gifts and try to carry you up the stairs if you broke your leg(s). And fail miserably at doing so.
he'd get into shit with you to just go "haha, my bad. how could i let this happen?"
Tumblr media
K1-B0
kiibo. my sweet baby. like hajime, he'd ask a lot of questions when first meeting you! throughout time he'd get used to it and do his best to help you out. your gloves got ripped up by unknown causes and it's snowing? he'll use his hairdryer function to "breathe" onto your hands to quickly warm them up and when the two of you get home he'll sew them back up.
if you get hurt he wouldn't be able to carry you or anything (he's not particularly the strongest and his back pain doesn't help) but he'd take care of you afterwards! be it cooking meals, or cleaning the house.
everytime you get home he'll stop you at the door while concentrating reallyyy hard to use his zooming function to see if you're alright. doesn't do much, but you let it slide if it helps calm his worry.
so even if he's not able to support you during your spikes of your bad luck, he'll gladly lend you a hand afterwards!

Hii! Happy birthday!
I have a really interesting idea. What if, somehow, Williams darling and him share a Springlock suit as Springtrap? Like, both of their bodies and souls are inside? If that makes sense? I just want a concept :>
Sure! This essentially ended up as an aftermath to this fic right here
Yandere! William + Darling in Springtrap Idea
Pairing: Romantic
Possible Trigger Warnings: Gender-Neutral Darling, Obsession, Sadism, Death/Murder, Post-Springlock failure, Manipulation, Forced relationship.
Tumblr media
Honestly, I love this idea.
In one of my Springtrap fics I actually had set up this idea.
At the end of one of my fics Darling was springlocked so Springtrap/William could keep them.
This concept would essentially be the aftermath of that.
You see, if William can persist in Springtrap, so can you.
In fact that's probably what William was aiming for.
He likes you so much he wants you immortal with him.
Two “lovers” sharing a rabbit shaped coffin.
I'd imagine there's all sorts of spirit interactions between you.
He brought you here because he's fallen for his prey while you were on the job.
Meanwhile you're simply the poor victim.
You see everything he sees… you hear his voice and his interactions.
Unfortunately you're also a passenger to his murders.
I'd like to imagine this is something similar to the Stitchwraith (even if I don't know much about it).
William is the dominant spirit in the suit, so you're mostly "allowing" him to walk around.
William no doubt teases you and taunts you.
There's probably some twisted form of flirting in there.
He calls you “love” and all sorts of pet names.
You can only seethe when he does.
You often express your hatred of him, something he ignores.
Sure, you can be mad, not like you can leave him.
I doubt there'd be any affection other than words.
You share the same body now… so all you can do is talk.
William is overjoyed by this situation.
Now you're both immortal.
He can have a companion during this situation… a cute one, too.
I expect you'd end up living through the first fire (FNAF 3) and only separated from him during the second fire (FNAF 6).
Thankfully you're long gone when Help Wanted and Security Breach roll around.
Until then you're forced to persist.
William offers company, you try to ignore it.
Unfortunately there's no ignoring a spirit who's stuck to you.
While William is the primary spirit, maybe your personality shines through in Springtrap at times.
You try to spare Night Guards but William manages to take control shortly after.
This is your own personal hell.
You're stuck with a lovesick murderer for… what, years?
It's only during FNAF 6 that you get your true afterlife.
While you move on, William will be given the hell he deserves.
You wait for that moment eagerly.
You can't wait to watch him suffer and laugh at him… the perfect karma for trapping you with him.

Chapter 1 ~ the one that got away ~
You don’t feel well.
The combination of greasy pizza and the overly sweet frosting on the birthday cake you’d just consumed in rapid succession collide unpleasantly in your stomach. You feel yourself moving further and further back from the other children, but no one seems to notice, and who would, after all; it’s one of those parties the entire class is invited to so no one feels left out. You don’t really know the girl that’s celebrating, don’t find yourself engaging with the other children. You don’t really belong. You’re just a shadow drifting on the edges of the crowd, alone and unwanted.
The costumed yellow rabbit has been present for the entire party, posing for photographs with the children whose parents actually wanted a memento of the occasion. Your own parents do nothing but argue, make you feel like it’s your fault that they’re stuck together, a costly mistake that’s lasted a decade.
The rabbit figure moves to stand beside you, crouching down with a grace that’s impressive given the bulk of the costume. He’s tall even at this height, an intimidating figure towering by your small form.
“I have a surprise for you,” he says, his muffled voice low near your ear.
You’d gotten the cautionary lecture about going somewhere with strangers before, of course; there had been an entire afternoon at school dedicated to rehearsing what to do in certain situations.
But the rabbit mascot wasn’t really a stranger, was he? You knew it was a man inside the suit, of course; an employee at Freddy’s that you couldn’t imagine being anything other than friendly and kind.
“What is it?” You ask, your attention focused on the shiny button nose.
“It’s out back. You have to come with me to see it.”
Your stomach rolls again, churning a warning. Something was off, but you weren’t sure what it was.
He sees your hesitation and his paw rests on your back, rubbing a soft circle. It’s oddly soothing, in combination with his whispered reassurances and gentle promises; you can’t remember the last time someone had been so nice to you. You glance back at the party attendees that have already forgotten you exist and you nod, having to reach up to cling to the yellow fur covered hand he offers once he straightens, guiding you out of the dining room.
You’re led through a series of corridors until you arrive someplace much more dimly lit. It’s cold back here, quiet. There are piles of things you don’t understand stacked on steel shelves. You suddenly want to return to the party. At least it had been warmer there.
The yellow rabbit releases your hand. “Are you ready for your surprise?”
You nod uncertainly, wondering if you could even find your way back to the dining room at this point; if anyone could hear you scream for help.
You hear the sound of something metal being dragged as he lifts it from the nearest workbench, the kitchen knife looking so sharp next to that soft fur.
Your eyes widen and you turn and run.
You can feel him lunge at your retreating form, just missing, sweeping across your hair and the bow on the back of your party dress. You choose a direction blindly, your feet slapping against the concrete floor. Relief washes over you when you hear the sound of the dining room getting louder, the light spilling through the glass panes of the Employees Only doors a beacon for you to follow.
You burst through the doors and head for the nearest adult you can see, tucking breathlessly behind them, watching fearfully for your pursuer.
They never reappear, and you never tell anyone what had happened.
After all, who would care?
Chapter 2 ~ the oubliette ~
You walk with no destination, cutting through a field dotted with the end of last summer’s fading wild flowers.
The fence that borders your makeshift path has fallen to ruin, the wood rotted and collapsing, surrendering to the elements. You count the posts that defy the passage of time and remain standing, crediting even those that list to one side, the rugged earth crumbling at their bases. It’s a distraction, something to focus on besides the poor grade you’d received on your first history exam of the semester, your senior year already starting off terribly. You bitterly recall the fight you'd had with your stepmother the night before and the lunchroom that has no room for you, because you do not care for fashion or makeup or giggling over young pop stars, driving you to eat alone tucked under the stairs.
You reach out and run your fingers over the tallest weeds, letting the dry stalks brush against skin that is ink stained, forever smudged when you spill your buried thoughts and feelings onto paper. You never keep them, afraid they’ll be seen and misunderstood, and you can’t bear the thought of that; those innermost expressions violated and judged by others. They’re all you have to cling to.
You smell the rain before you feel it, the dry spell that has lasted for weeks finally giving way beneath the fury of the atmosphere. A few stray drops fall on your bare arms, a precursor of what is to come, the accompanying rumble of thunder a gentle growl in the distance.
You’ve reached civilization again, such as it is; this part of town long vacant, filled with closed shops and shuttered houses. The economy of Hurricane has always been a fragile thing, one of the many small towns that developers had sought to populate and expand, and for a time it had actually flourished. The expansion had happened too soon, though, abandoned in favor of cities with industry, lured by the promise of more jobs and better access to finer housing and richer commerce.
Your footsteps slow as you near a large structure rising up before you, the children’s party themed restaurant long vacated. You’d heard stories about it before, something about missing children, parents calling for it to be shut down and the owner investigated. You vaguely remember being there for someone’s birthday party once when you were younger, the feeling that something unpleasant had happened while you were there tickling the edges of your mind, but the details are fuzzy. A lot of your childhood memories are like that. Your therapist had said it was a defense mechanism, your brain trying to protect you by obscuring those recollections. You figured if that was the case you were better off not remembering whatever it was that was so traumatic. You had your journaling and that was more than enough as far as you’re concerned. You’d never liked going to therapy anyway, grateful when your stepmother had declared it a needless expense since you didn’t seem to be benefiting from it and you never returned. It’s the only good thing she’d ever unwittingly done for you.
Stepping over a chunk of broken asphalt, you enter the parking lot of the pizzeria. Weeds and small trees and patches of crab grass poke through the tar, finding life in the smallest bits of soil, the unattended blacktop crumbling in their wake. Another scattering of moisture from the gray clouds above strikes your bare skin and you hear the thunder’s growl becoming more impatient.
The building’s cheerful yellow and green paint has long since faded, the painted plaster and tiles of the checkerboard pattern decorating the outside missing in many places, fallen and crumbling. The front entrance and windows are all boarded up, surprisingly clear of graffiti, as if no one is willing to go near the place, afraid of the consequences of desecrating that structure.
The downpour begins.
You bypass the front of the building, stepping hurriedly around a fallen sign, the cracked glass and smashed lighting preventing you from seeing much more than the arm raised in a friendly wave that belongs to the restaurant’s infamous bear mascot. You nearly trip on a root as you weave through the side lot, the failing light from the darkening skies making it difficult to see.
Lightning briefly illuminates your surroundings and that’s when you catch sight of the open window.
It’s so oddly intact, unblemished unlike the rest of the building, the glass panes undisturbed, the frame solid. You think if you could find something to stand on it would be enough of an elevation to climb inside.
You hesitate over this thought, at the strong impulse that makes you feel as if you’re being lured inside.
It’s easy to blame the torrential rain for your desire to escape the elements and you discard the discomfiting thought. There are a couple of pallets from some forgotten shipment of goods that seem strong enough to support your weight and you drag them hastily beneath the opening. You’re drenched now, your hair plastered in wet clusters, your clothing adhered to your body. You climb onto the piled pieces of wooden slats and rest one hand on the sill, supporting your weight while you shove at the bottom rail, widening the space. It slides silently upward, granting you access to wriggle through, easing in one side of your body at a time. A short drop to the floor brings you inside of Freddy Fazbear’s, the noise of outdoors suddenly muffled as you’re swallowed into the abandoned establishment.
***
There is very little light from outdoors to guide you as you explore the space, deciding it’s some sort of storage area, though the room is completely devoid of anything other than a thick layer of dust that you disturb, sending clouds of it into the air. Another flash of lightning shows you the barred opening of a vent of some sort, the metal slats glinting for a brief moment and then the room grows dim again.
Curiously, there is no door to allow you to exit the space. You run your hands along the walls, completing the circuit. Save the vent and the window, there is no other point of entry or egress.
You hear a rattling sound of something dragging across metal and you freeze, holding your breath.
The screws bolting the cover of the duct into place quiver in their frames, the spiraled bits of steel surrendering to the tremendous force shoving at them. The encasement clatters to the floor and you hear the sound of something being pushed through the opening, straining until it, too, lands with a heavy thud.
You cower near the window, already attempting to pull yourself back up, failing without the added height to assist you. Stupid, so stupid that you’d come here, assuming you’d be able to leave as easily as you’d entered.
“Wait.”
The voice stills your struggling form instantly. The figure takes a step forward and it’s just enough for you to make out the shape of one of the mascots, an imposingly tall being well over seven feet tall. Its eyes flicker like a failing flashlight low on batteries. The rabbit—that’s what it is, you realize—has one ear torn midway through, the suit in a similar state of disrepair, the once golden fur and fabric long since faded and worn away, exposing metal and wires. The purple bow tie decorating its neck is frayed, drooping in twin deflated loops above a pair of black buttons meant to represent formal attire.
You stare at the animatronic, trying to reconcile how this creature is still moving on its own when the lithium that powers it should have been depleted long ago; yet here it stands, no longer programmed to remain onstage to perform, a free entity roaming the building.
The yellow rabbit chuckles softly, the noise emanating from within the headpiece sounding modulated, as if an algorithm is altering the amplitude, pitch, and tone. “I’m not like them, if that’s what you’re thinking.”
Your mouth is too dry to form words. You wonder how it is he knows that was exactly what you’d been thinking.
“Why are you here?”
“I was out wandering,” you manage, struggling to find moisture to wet your lips. “It started raining. I just wanted to go someplace dry.”
“Strange that you chose this place.”
“The window was open,” you protest. “I didn’t break anything. I’ll leave right now, I just don’t know how to get out of here. There’s no door.”
The rabbit continues to stare at you. “No, there isn’t.” You hear a deep inhale of breath from the figure. “Stay here a moment longer and speak with me.”
Your hand scrabbles absently at the wall in a futile gesture as if you could somehow claw your way through the solid surface. “About what?”
“Anything you’d like. It’s not often this place gets visitors these days.” The rabbit leans against the wall beside the window, folding his arms.
“I have to go…”
“Go where?”
“Home. My parents are expecting me.”
It’s untrue. Your stepmother is likely out spending your father’s money and he’s probably at the bar.
“Do not lie to me,” the rabbit says. “There is no one waiting for you.”
“How did you…”
The mascot’s head tips back to rest against the wall. “I am something of an expert on deception. Why are you out wandering in this part of town? Surely you’ve heard of this place’s reputation, young as you appear.”
“I was just walking home from school. Just thinking, not really paying attention to where I was going.”
“Thinking about what?”
You shrug uncertainly. “Nothing interesting. I promise,” you add, in case he thinks you are attempting to tell a falsehood again.
“I might find it interesting,” he replies, the headpiece tilting back down so he can study you.
You shake your head. “Everything is going wrong. I just failed my first history exam. I don’t have any friends. My stepmother hates my guts.” The confession spills out of you, the words coming easier once the floodgates have been opened. “I’m not like anyone else. I don’t fit in. I’m lonely,” you finish quietly.
Another deep inhale, as if the creature is absorbing your words. You think the lights of his eyes seem a little brighter now, casting a soft glow over the permanent grin on the rabbit’s face, the rows of teeth glinting dangerously.
“I don’t fit in anywhere either,” the suited person says. “So it appears we have that much in common, at least.” His head tips to one side, the intact ear tapping against the window pane. “The storm is ending.”
You shuffle your feet nervously. “Can I leave now?”
“Are you in such a rush to go to the home where you’re not wanted?”
The words cut cruelly and you look away.
The figure sighs. “Go, then, if that’s what you truly want. I won’t stop you. I’ll even help give you a boost up.” He bends, the steel encased hands now laced together to form a step for you. You place a foot there and he lifts you easily, allowing you to reach the sill and begin extracting yourself, one leg hooked over the edge, your torso bending to pass through the opening. Cool, moist air passes over your exposed limbs, reminding you that you’re soaking wet and night is approaching.
You hesitate, feeling the rabbit watching you. “How will you get out? Can you climb back the way you came, or…?”
He chuckles softly. “I was never trapped to begin with. But it’s kind of you to be concerned for a stranger’s well being. If you return, I’ll make your entrance easier next time and open the front door.”
“Return?” You blink at the invitation. “Why would I…”
“If you decide you want company the next time you get lonely. I’m a good listener.”
“Alright. Goodbye.” You don’t want to commit to anything but you also don’t want to risk the odd individual’s ire.
You can see him nod, his eyes glimmering in the strange, forgotten space, watching as you finish extricating yourself from the opening.
Outside, you’re grateful for the fresh air supply, for an escape from the musty scent of the vacant room and its bizarre occupant. You keep to the lit streets on your way home and once there change into warm pajamas and pull a duvet around you, a notebook resting on your lap. With your thoughts already given to another, you find there is nothing left to write about and the lined page remains blank.
Chapter 3 ~ sweet tooth ~
William Afton leaves the new mayor of Hurricane’s office with a smile on his face.
A major part of his electoral campaign had been focused on the promise of a renewal for the city that included renovation and rebuilding, cleaning up the vacant part of town and restoring the area to what it once was.
It was the perfect opportunity to lobby for reopening Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria.
There would still be protests of course; it was inevitable given the history of the restaurant. But with this new blood in office, with a new identity to hide behind, with a new generation that didn’t know any better, it was a chance to begin again.
Sliding into the dark vintage luxury sedan parked along the curb outside the office, he reaches for the lollipop tucked into his shirt pocket. His sweet tooth has gotten worse as he’s advanced in age, the constant craving for sugar driving him to consume it as frequently as possible. He pulls the plastic wrapper free and settles the red candy ball on his tongue, sucking until the treat surrenders, releasing a burst of cherry flavor into his mouth. It mingles with his saliva and he hums in satisfaction, withdrawing it with a loud pop and swallowing the syrup down before replacing it once more between his lips.
Adjusting the rear view mirror, the man eases out of the parking spot and merges smoothly into downtown traffic which is light at this time of day. The stack of flyers on the seat beside him slide on the vinyl and he automatically reaches out a hand to trap them in place.
The public high school is a short distance away, the bulletin board outside the guidance office near the main entrance. It’s littered with postings, a few of which he tears free and crumples in one fist before tacking his own onto the cork board.
He tosses the ruined papers he’s holding into the wastebin as he turns and leaves, tucking his hands deep into his pockets. He exits the building, long legs making short work of the cement stairs, humming faintly under his breath.
***
You never really pay much attention to the job postings at school.
Yet today it’s impossible to ignore the brightly colored flyer whose bottom edge lifts in the breeze of the passing students, the strips of paper with a phone number fluttering in their wake. You slow down, looking at the advertisement, blinking in surprise when you realize it’s an announcement that Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria is reopening under new management and is seeking ‘motivated individuals’ to help with the project both before and after its completion.
You think of the yellow rabbit lurking in the depths of that place and you shiver. You’re still not even certain it had really happened; if it hadn’t just been some wild imagining your brain had conjured up, a dream that had felt a little too real. Imaginary or not, as odd and unnerving as the encounter had been, you couldn’t help but admit there’d been something strangely charismatic about the stranger. He was so easy to talk to. The fact that he was an outsider too gave you the sense of kinship.
You shake your head, silently reprimanding yourself. It was ridiculous. You weren’t about to make friends with a strange man that may or may not even exist wearing a decaying mascot costume hanging out in some abandoned restaurant. Even you aren’t that pathetic and desperate.
Still you hesitate, staring at the announcement until you find yourself tearing one of the slips of paper free, tucking it into the pocket of your jeans.
There is no thoughtful lingering walk home that afternoon.
You head directly to your house, sighing with relief that another school day’s behind you as you enter your bedroom, tossing your backpack on the bed and sitting down beside it. You toe off your sneakers and cross your legs beneath you, debating about whether you feel like raiding the kitchen for a snack when you remember the paper you’d shoved into your pocket earlier.
It takes you a moment to find it, leaning back slightly and rummaging around in the confined space, digging until you realize it’s been creased tightly against the seam. You pull the phone beside your bed into your lap and hesitate once again, thinking of flickering lamp eyes in the darkness.
Before you lose your nerve you dial the number, a man’s voice answering on the second ring.
“Steve Raglan’s office. Can I help you?”
His voice is an odd mix of rust and nasal whine, overly cheerful.
“Uh, yeah. I got this number from a flyer at my school. It’s about the jobs at Freddy’s.”
The career counselor’s tone shifts an octave lower, a rough grate of noise that sounds pleased. “Excellent. We’ll be holding interviews this week. Was there anything in particular you wanted to be involved with?”
“No, not really.” You wind the phone cord around your index finger, straightening out the tight coil briefly before it resumes its previous shape, hugging the digit firmly.
“Well, we’d love to have you come down and tell you more about the opportunities available. What day works for you?”
“Um, any afternoon is fine, really.”
“Great. Flexibility is something the owner really appreciates. How does Wednesday sound to you? Three o’clock?”
“Sure, that works.” You give the man your contact information.
“We look forward to seeing you then.” There’s a soft sound like a hum of amusement and then the line is disconnected, the dial tone loud in your ear.

I wanted to ask for another request for Springtrap with the same kind of reader lmaoo (the teenager!nightguard that can't take anything seriously) and is like Springtrap just awkwardly looking at reader from the door and he goes to attack her and reader just out of nowhere shows him a 'block' uno card and Springtrap is just like 'what the-' and before he can react the reader has already jumped out of the chair and gotten attached to the upper vent of the ceiling where Springtrap can't reach her and is like "HA! fuck u bithc! uno rules"
(Lmao my brain is feeling sooo silly rn while sending you these requests lol)
🐰 Springtrap x teen fem!Reader platonic Oneshot Uno Rules 🔗
There was another night in which Springtrap intended to get rid of you. You were an eighteen-year-old girl who was very self-confident and who upset him with her frivolous behavior. You treated everything like it was a joke and weren't afraid of him. This caused him an inner grin and irritation at the same time every time. However, today he intended to get to you. You were even too frivolous and he was able to get through the corridors to the security room without any problems, but when he was about to go inside, you abruptly jumped up from your chair and put a card from the game "UNO" in front of him. It was the card that blocked the move in the game. Springtrap was taken aback, not understanding exactly what you were trying to do. However, while he was trying to figure out what was going on, you abruptly jumped up to the ventilation pipe that was fixed to the ceiling, being out of his reach. Springtrap tried to grab you, but it didn't work out. You laughed, not intending to leave your hiding place until morning.
"Go to hell, bitch!"
You were smiling broadly, clearly pleased with what you had done.
"These are UNO rules! Respect the rules of UNO!"
You were laughing, and Springtrap didn't understand how you, with such frivolity and seemingly absurdity, could even survive at this job. But he wasn't going to give up. He had more nights ahead of him and the more nights you managed to survive, the more your tricks he remembered and the harder it will be for you to survive further. At least that's what he thought.

I've REALLY been trying to dodge all the "weird kid" allegation, but then the fnaf movie came out and I'm sickeningly reminded that one of my first childhood cruches was Springtrap. 10 yo me was the EMBODIMENT of "I could change him🤭 He's gotta heart deep down🥺" And let's not even bring up the fact he's a decomposing human who's soul and body is stuck inside an animatronic bunny suit. Or that he's a child serial killer.

(Dark!)Springtrap/William Afton headcannons
Warnings: Mention of child death, character death, description of murder, 18+!!!
Tumblr media
When Steve Raglan, aka William Afton got springlocked inside the Springbonnie suit, the last thing he remembered wasn't only the Animatronics who dragged his dying body away and locking it inside a spare room to rot, instead were the faces of Abby, Mike and you...
The last thing on his mind was him imagining how he would tear your body apart limb by limb while Mike's half dead eyes were watching the scenery and Abby's body freshly stuffed inside an Animatronic.
While he was slowly dying, the thought of revenge somehow kept him alive.
William eventually forgot the time, the only remaining sounds were the wheezing and slight gurgling of blood caused by a springlock piercing one of his lungs and the mechanical sounds from the endoskeleton mixed with each movement of him.
His mind was fixed on finally being able to step out of this damn building, destroying all the Animatronics and going on a hunt for Mike and Abby first.
William would keep one Animatronic for Abby to be stuffed in, his trusty kitchen knife for Mike to be stabbed over and over repeadedly and his cruel hands for you, to crush your bones and make you feel some of the pain he felt when he got springlocked.
After getting rid of Mike and Abby, nothing would stop him from going after you, not even his daughter Vanessa. He would chase you to the end of the world, no matter where you would run, nowhere would be safe from William.
William's mind is still twisted, he could almost hear your desperately begging and pleading for your life. To make him spare you. And although William doesn't feel emotions, his evil heart would start beating again at the sound of your sweet voice begging him. It's such good music to his ears...
And right now? Rightnow William has just left the Pizzeria, walking down the road towards the town to finish what he started...

Do you have any Spring Bonnie centered headcanons or anything like that aswell? 👀
<Incorrect-fnaf-quotes, but it’s a sideblog, so I can’t ask from there
AAA SO SORRY FOR NOT BEING SUPER EARLY TO ANSWERR I WAS SLEEPING?? I LOVE YOUR HEADCANONS TOO BTW!! SENTIENT ANIMATRONJCS AUS ARE MY FAVE
Ive been in the fnaf fandom for a WHILE so ive had TONS and TONS of headcanons over the years, ever since fnaf 1, before the lore became SO UNBEARABLE (hah... springbonnie would make that joke.)
Anyways.. onto headcanons:
I have a LOT of headcanons on Springbonnies eyes. Especially since i have an AU where they are possesed by both William Afton AND an oc of mine!
Though, lets start with BEFORE the murders, instead on how his own suit works!!
Springbonnie has a weird eye function, a strange mechanic inside his eyes.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You see how springtrao has these clear plastic bulbs covering the outer layer of his eyes? Outlining where springbonnies more robotic and less alive eyes would usually stare? I like to imagine that its a mechanic that they have when NOT being used as a costume! Perhaps its a way to make springbonnie and its (I like to assume) Accidental AI to focus on children. Just something to keep it able to focus. Kinda like an adhd medication but for a robot to be able to NOT look around and get distracted. I like to assume they have something like that due to morbid curiosity. When used as a costume i like to think that springbonnies conciousness sort of.. not exactly VANISHES but isnt quite as STRONG, so those little like... glasses almost, arent needed cause humans are kinda better at staying focused than a curious bunny robot with adhd somehow programmed into their conciousness. Though these stay of springtrap because Springbonnie was sort of left to just rot and malfuction and grow obsolete for around 30 years before Afton came and decided to force himself in such a broken suit (while it was wet too, seriously afton, whats wrong with you?) So it wasnt able to turn them up while being worn.
I also like to think springbonnies eyes change COLOUR to match the person wearing their costume, as best as they can atleast, maybe with a tiny tiny tint of green? Buts till otherwise the same.. Brown eyes makes their green eyes brown, blue makes them blue, grey goes grey, etc etc. It follows EVERY eye colour. Which is why I like to headcanon william as having GREY eyes instead of a dull light blue (even though it IS canon in silver eyes. Tbf tho i also headcanon afton to still have his little manbun/ponytail even when the silver eyes made him NOT have that.) I like to make Springbonnie STILL able to stay alive ish kinda even after the springlocking, thought i like to imagine they cant really front much. And when they finally can it works alot like DID (Dissasociative Identity Disorder) where they will forget what happened during the times they WERENT concious. I dont like writing springbonnie alot because i havent done nearly enough research on DID but i sure would like to add it to him just because... I like leatning how to write and understand different disorders. Especially with my favourite characters!
I have a certain colour code to springtraps eyes for who is who, since again.. OC au.
Obviously, grey is most common, with william always being present.
Blue will be also common. Due to ot being the soul of my OC who happens to be very... stubborn. Not exactly vengeful but he HOLDS GRUDGES. He loves holding onto things that hurt him. Hes like the opposite of that one meme.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
He would truly just stare at you. Enraged. How could you say that to him??
Along with the changing eye colour headcanon... I like to imagine they can have both eyes different colours as well, because
1) heterochromia exists, they need to be able to mimic that!
2) it shows who is fronting out of the 3 of them!
This is the chart for how it should work really
Left is for who is FRONTING! right is for who is technically just watching over. They both have equal contribution, but not exactly the same roles.
Tumblr media
It will be the same as above even if all are able to have concious at the same time, just with whoever isnt fronting or watching just having their colour around there the pupil is.
Im not sure wether youve noticed yet or not, BUT! I also headcanon Springbonnie as being nonbinary!
Throughout most of this i tried my hardest to use they/them on springbonnie BUUUTTT sometimes Afton or my OC got in my head and i used he/him.
I like to imagine that nobodu decided to give the animatronics any actual pronouns oyher than It/its BUT in those old AUs people made where all the animatronics knew eachother and even all shared a restaurant, i like to imagine Springbonnie would ALWAYS be refered to with they/them because... it would be all they respond to. Not really seeing themself as a boy/girl animatronic because... to them they are just that. An animatronic. And it goes with them everywhere. Every animatronic to them is they/them and It/its. They cant really differentiate between human and animatronic but they most definitely are more human, even if they are kinda restricted by.. being an animatronic. They act very human like.
I do like to have the same headcanon with fredbear as well, though he will respond to anything. She/he/they/it... they respond! Though i personally use he/they on fredbear cause it feels fitting.
I also like to headcanon, in my au that both springbonnie and Shadow Bonnie are the same! Eventually, after the afton springlocking, both springbonnie and my oc's conciousness will split from Springtrap, sometime, and go on to form shadow Bonnie, which is entirely just a physical form of their emotions over aftons actions, so not much like them, but still them. You get me?
Speaking of them basically being the same, i like to imagine the shadow animatronics are also able to ONLY move through walls, project on walls and can morph other shadows as well, sometimes even replacing them with themselves. i like having the headcanon of the shadows going by whatever pronouns, though it still fluctuates.
Projecting on a wall or not using anothers shadow as their own? It/its.
Switching with somebody elses shadow? Copies whoevers shadows they are using's pronouns.
Though this can still fluctuate with he/him for shadow Freddy and he/they with shadow Bonnie because of who they are made of (cc, Jake, and springbonnie.)
Plus! I like to imagine springbonnie was modeled to be what the kagamines are to fredbear. Yk. Like a sibling, lover, or a mirror image! I personally like headcanoning sprinbonnie and fredbear definitely being a ship, but it changes a lot depending on the AU of mine. Sometimes its found family dynamic with the golds, sometimes they just dont have any relation other than William's and Fredbears Fursonas (as therefor friends cause I dont ship willry)
Springbonnie is one of my faves aside from CC and Plushtrap, who i also headcanon being super best friends with springbonnie!! So im glad I got this ask!! Tysvm @incorrect-fnaf-quotes!!! V sillay...
And heres some art of them just for you!
Tumblr media
TYSVM FOR THE ASK AGAIN!! I LOVED ANSWERING IT AND THE ART GIFT FOR YOU SPENT FOREVER BUT I FEEL LINDA PROUD ISH?? NOT V GOOD BUT STILL FOR YOU <3<3!!!!

fnaf lore
Fredbear's Family Diner (1970s)
Fredbear's was a local family diner designed primarily to entertain young children through the use of animatronic animal mascots, and the diner used these characters:-
Golden Fredbear spring costume (aka Golden Freddy)
Golden Bonnie spring costume (aka Spring Bonnie, Springtrap)
Fredbear animatronic (aka Freddy Fazbear)
The Puppet/Marionette (puppet used to give out prizes to good children)
The two golden suits were designed as a 2-in-1 animatronic in that they could be used either as an animatronic or as a suit for a human to climb inside of and wear for the purpose of entertaining children. The brown Fredbear animatronic was just a regular animatronic who was designed to interact with and entertain children while the staff were not using their spring costumes.
The Puppet was used to hand out presents/prizes to children who were behaving well, (or simply those who won party games).
One day, there was a birthday party being celebrated at Fredbear's and a lone child was watching the party from outside the diner, looking in through the glass door at the front of the building. He cried continuously as he felt that he was being left out of the party since all the other kids got to play games and eat cake while he was stood alone in the cold.
Then a golden bunny appeared from behind the child and asked him why he was sad. The child explained his situation and the bunny befriended him, and he even gave the child a cupcake to make him feel better. The child ate the cupcake and then the golden bunny began to laugh. His laugh grew louder and more sinister and the child just stared at him with a puzzled look on his face, wondering what was so funny.
The child then started to feel nauseous, and he felt a great pain in his stomach. It turned out that the cupcake was poisoned and that the golden bunny was in fact a monster of a human being wearing a Bonnie spring costume. The child had been tricked, and he was to be the first in a long line of victims to the Purple Man, a future serial killer of the Fazbear pizzerias' children.
As the Purple Man cackled away, he ran back to his car, got inside and drove away from the scene in a hurry. The child couldn't stop crying and when he died, his tear tracks were still running down his face.
Since the child never got to join in with the party in life, he could not rest in death until he was united with the rest of the children to join their party. Until that happened, the child's soul would not be able to rest, and he rightfully blamed Purple Man for his predicament. The child would later seek revenge on the Purple Man and once this was done, he would then begin to find his way to the childrens' party as he would no longer have his anger to hold him back.
The child was also jealous of the other children because they won prizes and he didn't, thus his soul became trapped in the Puppet out of a desire to win a present because the Puppet was the one who had control over the gift boxes.
After this terrible tragedy occurred, the owners of Fredbear's Family Diner closed their doors forever and sold their company to a new owner in order to forget about the child murder.
Freddy Fazbear's Pizza (1980s)
A new company called "Fazbear Entertainment" was created after a new owner bought the Fredbear's Family Diner, and the diner was renamed to "Freddy Fazbear's Pizza."
The diner is converted into a pizzeria and new management is brought into the establishment, namely Phone Guy who is now the new manager of the pizzeria. He gives audio instructions to employees on how to operate the spring costumes, as well as instructing them on the safe rooms used within the building.
Despite the fact that the Purple Man had used the Golden Bonnie spring suit to murder the child, the suit was still in the back room of the diner the following day, and it had been kept there ever since. Out of respect for the deceased child and his family, the golden spring suits were not used for some time.
Two new animatronic mascots were added to the pizzeria:
Chica the Chicken
Foxy the Pirate
The company also created a blue Bonnie the Bunny animatronic to replace the golden Bonnie mascot that was originally used.
The Purple Man eventually returned to the pizzeria and killed five more children, and their bodies were stuffed into the new animatronics by the Puppet in order to give them new life so that they could help the Puppet claim his revenge on the Purple Man, as well as to fulfill his goal of joining in with the party by befriending the latest victims of Purple Man in the afterlife (this is the party we see in the "Happiest Day" mini-game in FNAF3).
The Purple Man chose to murder the five kids near Foxy's Pirate Cove as it was further towards the back of the pizzeria since it was away from the show stage (this is a trend seen in each building). The five children were never fixated on revenge like the crying child was, but they decided to play along with his game since they couldn't comprehend their actions at the same level as an adult could. They always saw it as a party game rather than an act of violence.
Since their bodies were stuffed into the animatronic suits, nobody ever found out about these five murders as the childrens' bodies were never found. However, the customers did begin to notice a foul odour coming from the suits, as well as mucus and blood pertruding from the facial area. There were also complaints of the animatronics just looking scary in general.
People soon realised that the five children were missing and that they were last seen in Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, and so this fact along with the negative vibe given off by the animatronics caused a dramatic decrease in sales for the pizzeria, thus they had to close their doors and start anew.
FNAF2 - Freddy Fazbear's Pizza (1987)
Fazbear Entertainment reopened their pizzeria in the year 1987 with a new line-up of "toy" animatronic mascots:
Toy Freddy
Toy Bonnie
Toy Chica (used to serve cake to the children)
The Mangle (used as a puzzle game for children to play)
BB (used to greet customers and hand them balloons)
These new characters were designed to restore customer confidence with the company as they were fitted with new security technology, namely facial recognition and electronic access to a criminal database of known predators. These features were included to reassure customers that their children would be safe from predators in the new and improved Freddy Fazbear's Pizza.
The Puppet was brought back since he was the only original character who never received complaints from customers, and he was tied to an electronic rail system that would allow him to move throughout the building and give prizes to children.
The original mascots were initially going to be repaired and reused in the pizzeria, but their odour and creepy look caused the company to simply keep them hidden away in the Parts and Services room to be used for spare parts wherever necessary. They were initially retro-fitted with some of the newer technology, though they were never fully repaired and this is what kept the characters "alive," or at least that was the official explanation for their strange behaviour.
Staff began to notice that the Puppet would move through the premises at night when he should have remained in the Prize Corner, and they theorized that the Puppet would be drawn to any sounds it would hear at night since there would be no children at the pizzeria at night, and so he would think that he was in the wrong room and would go to where the sound was coming from in order to try and find any nearby kids to entertain. This theory stemmed from the fact that the Puppet would sometimes be drawn to the Mangle's distorted noises at night, and so a music box was placed next to the Puppet in the Prize Corner in order to "pacify" him and keep him in his rightful place at night.
The Mangle was originally intended as a replacement for Foxy the Pirate, except that it wasn't quite as robust as the other characters and children would often take it apart, thus the pizzeria just decided to leave the Mangle in pieces and market it as a "put-it-back-together" puzzle game for the kids to play. The name "The Mangle" was coined by a member of staff since the character was always mangled up from the kids not putting it back together properly.
There were also complaints of the animatronics going into the night guard's office, thus the first night guard was moved over to the day shift and Jeremy Fitzgerald was hired as the new night guard.
Of course, the Purple Man returned once again and killed five more children at the pizzeria except this time their bodies were actually found by the police. Since their bodies could not be stuffed into the plastic toy characters as they did not use the same metal endoskeletons as the old characters, (the clue to this theory is in FNAF1's Night 5 phone call, the scrambled audio is an excerpt from a passage that describes the concept of metal having a life force that allowed it to be used as a body that housed a soul, similar to the human body) the bodies were hidden in the back room, but the Puppet picked them up and placed them throughout the restaurant to expose Purple Man's crime to authorities (hence the "SAVE THEM" mini-game, the Puppet was saving the dead kids from being stuck in limbo with him and the other possessed animatronics). Since their bodies were found, these kids' souls found peace in the afterlife and they got to go and continue the party they were having before they were murdered, thus they were able to rest in the afterlife.
Authorities deduced from surveillance footage that the dayshift guard was the murderer and that he used the classic Golden Freddy spring costume in order to lure the five children into the safe room at the back of the building and murder them without being noticed. Since customers and other animatronics were not allowed to enter the safe room, this would be the perfect place for the Purple Man to commit the murders. The Purple Man was also aware that the spring locks within the costume had become faulty due to their advanced age, and so he tore out the spring locks and endoskeleton so that he could safely wear the suit and conceal his identity. Since he could've used the safe room to do this without being seen, it's possible that the kids were murdered during the day and that the dayshift guard was framed based on the fact that he would've been the only guard there at the time of the murders. Perhaps the real Purple Man was never questioned and authorities pinned it on the dayshift guy since he would be in the office at the back of the building, thus allowing him easy access to both the Golden Freddy suit and to the safe room. Purple Man must've entered the building through the back to avoid being noticed and also to make it easier for him to reach the safe room, and he must've being wearing the same uniform as the dayshift guard in order to further incriminate him.
The real Purple Man had gotten away clean, though it is clear that he was more than likely an employee of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza since he must've had knowledge of the safe room and of the Golden Freddy suit.
Due to the fact that a Golden Freddy spring costume was used by the killer, the company banned all employees from wearing the suits in order to prevent another tragedy of this nature from happening within the establishment. Since the suits were known for having faulty spring locks, the company's official story was that the child deaths were caused by the faulty suit. The company instructed Phone Guy to sell this story and instruct all employees in the pizzeria's sister location - the FNAF1 pizzeria - to keep the suits stored in the safe room and to never wear them under any circumstances. The company did this to try and prevent the true cause of the child deaths from being known at the location of the FNAF1 pizzeria since its employees might hear about the killings in the FNAF2 pizzeria and share the story with their family and friends, so this was a business move done by Fazbear Entertainment as they were desperate to keep their customers at this point.
It is possible that Purple Guy actually worked at the FNAF1 pizzeria since the two pizzerias were around at the same time as each other, and that he decided to murder children at the FNAF2 pizzeria to make it harder for authorities to link the killings to him. It would be foolish of him to murder his victims at his own work place, don't you think?

William as Springtrap breaks into others people houses. He breaks the window and just stars lurking inside someone's home. Like if he steals something it's some rabbit or cat shit and then he jumps out the door or another window.
Sometimes he just rans from people who can notice him or the police(reflects, you could say)
Imagine a 6 foot tall rabbit robot jumping into your house and running towards you, at night.

The more I think about it, the more I think Movie Vanessa is screwed either way.
It's a given William/Springtrap will come back at some point during the sequel(s) and he certainly won't be happy with Vanessa for turning on him.
But even if that wasn't to happen, I think she'd still be in a lot of trouble from where we left off in the movie.
She's comatose from a stab wound, and admitted into the hospital. That means authorities are looking into things to piece together what happened. Assuming Mike was the one who got her into the hospital, he's probably had to answer a lot of questions. I can't imagine what questions he would've had to answer much less how much he was willing to disclose, though. Though I think he would have talked about Steve Reaglan/William Afton and his involvement in his brother's death (as well as the missing kids,) leaving out the supernatural bs.
Even if he weren't up to disclose Vanessa's involvement to protect her, I think that could be uncovered anyways. The reason Steve/William (and by extention her) could get away with things for so long was because Vanessa as a cop had the means to cover things up. But now she's comatose in the hospital, she has no power to interfere (if that was what she'd want to do if she was awake.)
It might be difficult, but not impossible for them to uncover her name change, who she was before and who she was affiliated with and her past, and patterns of cases that involved Freddy's that she participated in.
I think they would find out she's been working from the inside, interfering with investigations by ommissions and cover-ups to keep her father in impunity. That alone would already get her into a lot of trouble; it would put every case she's been part of into doubt.
Unless she's done more than just ommissions and interfering.
When William confronted her 'lack of loyalty', he reminded her what her job was supposed to be: to keep Mike in the dark or kill him if he got too close to the truth. Of course, she didn't do that. But the way William said it... it felt like he was saying something that was no news to either of them. A dance Vanessa has had to have done before.
That's reinforced by Vanessa begging Mike to stop prodding earlier, and that she'd be of no help to him if William shows up.
Those points make me think:
It wasn't only William or the animatronics. Vanessa may also have had her hand at killing people (likely by shooting them,) even if reluctantly, in order to keep the truth from being found out, then likely either forging other causes of death as cover up.
Now, Vanessa is a victim, deeply traumatized and kept under William's thumb, but that wouldn't erase that she was also an accomplice at the very least, especially from a law perspective.
She's likely going to face a lot of criminal charges upon waking from her coma and recovering from her wounds, and/or mandated to confess to a lot of things and lose her right to work as a cop. And maybe the very serious threat of jail time.

Psycho Analysis: William Afton
Tumblr media
(WARNING! This analysis contains SPOILERS!)
The original Five Nights at Freddy’s had an Easter egg in the form of news articles detailing the disappearance of several children at Freddy’s, a little bit of easily missable lore that hinted that there was more to these killer animatronics than meets the eye and giving a good indication as to why the pizza place seemed like such a shithole. Of course, these papers raised a very important, chilling question: Who was the man behind the slaughter?
And the answer as provided by the sequel and that would be expanded upon in later installments was: This creepy purple fuck.
William Afton AKA Purple Guy is the monster who many lost their sons (and daughters) to. He’s a wildly enigmatic serial killer who is expanded upon in cryptic cutscenes and games in the earlier entries… And then later entries would really delve into who he is and make him also ludicrously complicated, as if he were a physical representation of the series itself. But even though it’s been so long, we’re stuck to ponder the greatest and most important question of them all:
Tumblr media
Motivation/Goals: I think the most fascinating aspect of Afton is that, despite the lore becoming so much more dense and crazy as the series went on, one thing never changed: His goals are utterly and completely unknowable. Sure, Afton has long since been revealed to be a mad scientist and something of a Jigsaw-type torturer of children… But why? What does he gain other than perhaps some sick, perverted joy? What drives him to kill children? What made him come back to destroy the animatronics in the lead up to his first death? Why does he keep coming back time and time again? Afton leaves us with a lot more questions than answers, and even as he has steadily become sillier and sillier in terms of characterization, he still manages to retain an unsettling evil presence to him due to a lack of any real reason as to why he is the way he is. He’s just an evil, loathsome asshole.
Performance: In Sister Location, Afton is finally given a voice by P. J. Heywood, but that’s a voice role that could never hope to escape the shadow of the live-action adaptation’s casting. In the movie that was finally released in 2023 after years in development hell, Afton was portrayed by Matthew Lillard. He’s most well known today as Shaggy from the live-action Scooby Doo movies, but his role here calls back to one of his big breakout roles: Stu Macher, one half of the original Ghostface in Scream. While he is used incredibly sparingly in the film—he appears for a couple minutes near the start and then about ten minutes at the end—he steals the scene every time he’s onscreen, and his performance once he’s put the Springtrap suit on and is in full villain mode really show that he’s still got it. It’s hard not to feel disappointed we only got a small taste of what Lillard can bring to the role, but hey, there’s always sequels. Many are already calling him the definitive portrayal of Afton, and it’s hard to disagree.
Tumblr media
Final Fate: This dude gets fucked up and comes back so much that he would leave Rasputin in awe.
In Five Nights at Freddy’s 3, we get to see his first gruesome end. Trapped by the ghosts of his victims, he decides to hide from them in a Spring Bonnie costume… that has been sitting in a damp room, and which has mechanisms that are known to fuck up and maim the wearer if they breathe funny? Bro was just asking to get Springtrapped.
youtube
After slowly and painfully dying from having his skeleton obliterated, he was left to rot in the abandoned pizzeria’s sealed room for decades until some absolute genius decided to turn the place into a spooky haunted house attraction. Afton wakes up, but he gets less than a week to enjoy his newfound freedom because due to faulty wiring the place burns down with him inside it. He’s revealed to have survived that in the end of Sister Location, but then Pizzeria Simulator has him trapped in an inescapable maze and set ablaze again… And for now, it seems to have stuck. Sure, there are hints here and there that this guy might still be purpling around, but right now it’s nothing more than theories.
GAME THEOR—
Best Scene: Aside from the aforementioned death scene from the third game, both scenes Lillard is in in the film are the highlights of the movie.
Best Quote: “I always come back!” A line so good, they had to have Lillard drop it as his pre-mortem one-liner in the movie!

Final Thoughts & Score: As I mentioned in the opening paragraphs, William Afton very much feels like the embodiment of his home series in one character. He started out as something simple and chilling—a serial killer who targeted children, using their love of a mascot character to lure them to their death—but then, over time, slowly morphed into a mad scientist who designed the animatronics and managed to cheat death multiple times. He’s a living metaphor for how the series that started as a simple series of horror games with a little lore being drip fed to us eventually morphed into some massive, crazy science-fantasy epic with convoluted plotlines and all sorts of robotic and supernatural nonsense at every turn. And Afton and the series both ultimately have one important aspect in common: Despite everything, they’re still immensely enjoyable.
Yes, at this point Afton really just needs to stay dead and not pop up again as a main antagonist; his arc is over, he’s run his course, and his current final fate is immensely satisfying. It would honestly feel like a cheat if he came back again. And yes, it’s really silly they turned what was essentially a grounded Pennywise into Chuck E. Cheese Jigsaw, with elaborate torture machines and mad science and all, but I think it’s all very fun and charming in a B-movie sort of way. And Like I’ve mentioned previously, all of the added information still does nothing to elaborate on his true motives behind the slaughter. The man is every bit as unsettling and enigmatic because nothing we learn about him tells us the truth that we really want to know: Why?
Afton is one of the most iconic modern video game characters. No, not just villains, characters, period. I think as far as video game villains go, he’s easily one of the most memorable to come out of 2010s video game culture, and he’s pretty recognizable due to his wacky purple sprites. I think part of the appeal is all of the mystery surrounding him, especially back during the first three games. The books, later games, and to a lesser extent the movie slightly demystify him, but the elements about him that work wouldn’t make me rate him below an 8.5/10. He’s a weird, fucked up guy who is shrouded in mystery even as he gets more and more cartoonishly evil, and there’s something really fascinating about that.
Now if he could just fucking stay dead so I could appreciate him a bit more, that’d be great.

Ok ok, I have a confession─
Since when SprinBonnie was introduced I cannot stop thinking about it. Because right away my first thought was "he's not an animatronic isn't" for how you described him and how you drew him and all. But it doesn't make sense. He's in Atomata for a while and there is nothing organic (until Pry/nce(ss) come along because needs food) so how the fuck would he eats? Or just fishes from the river? Or since he was in the front of the war he could sneak food? ... or cannibalism? Also who he is, because our dad is (supposedly...?) Purple Guy, but he is SpringBonnie/Springtrap/yada yada, so unless the King lies about his illness and decides to have a double life... (The long gaze he gave to the pry/nce(ss) could have double meaning then haha).
I pushed all that aside because it doesn't make sense, but now it came back crawling on my back with sharp claws because pry/nce(ss) is wearing Vanny costume isn't? Or at least this is what I "saw" and Moon have been fooled, so if SpringBonnie is doing that same shit, nobody noticed there was a human inside...
Bubby, I'm doing crazy with this, it's not funny because it's stupid that my brain is doing a fixation on this fkjazbzkf

You awaken in absolute darkness.
Your limbs still feel weak as you struggle to sit upright. The wrist that’s been bitten throbs. Your mouth is dry. Every movement takes extreme effort and concentration through clouded memories. You can’t remember what’s happened or where you are.
“You should rest longer.”
The voice startles you. It’s masculine and slightly calloused, reminiscent of the one that had belonged to the yellow rabbit.
The yellow rabbit.
The memories return sharply and you tense up, feeling around blindly. You’re positioned on a cot of some sort, tucked against a wall.
“I used to use that sometimes when i lost track of the time and was too tired to go home.”
Twin spots of silver-white light softly illuminate the features of the costumed creature, the once cheerful permanent grin now more of a rictus.
“Who are you?”
“Better to ask who I was. I managed this place, once. Many years ago.” The rabbit’s head tips thoughtfully to one side, considering you. “I have not had a visitor in a long time. The last one was looking for items of value. They did not discover any.”
“What happened to them?”
The creature chuckles softly. “I did.”
You swallow nervously, pressing your spine against the wall.
“If I wanted to harm you, trust me, I would have already done so. Even in my weakened state, I could have killed you.”
“Why didn’t you?”
“Because you’re of no use to me dead. One meal will not regenerate myself. I need sustenance over time.”
“You’re keeping me prisoner,” you whisper fearfully.
“I could do that. But it would render the feeding less than satisfactory. It would mar that supply. You need to be healthy. Being trapped here would not be conducive to that end.” The suited figure pauses. “Why did you come here? You’ve disturbed nothing as far as I can tell.”
“I…I explore abandoned places,” you stammer.
“To what end?”
“Curiosity. I enjoy seeing preserved places like this. They’re like snapshots from a different time,” you reply more confidently.
“An appreciation for things of the past? I can respect that. I’ve always been sentimental in that regard. Nostalgic.” Another pause. “I think, with another drink I could get the electricity flowing. It’s all connected, you see. My lifeforce, and everything inside this establishment. It’s transformed me over time and grown into an entity in and of itself.”
You don’t comprehend what the yellow rabbit means save for the part of needing another meal. “You…you want to feed again?”
“Not yet. When you’ve recovered a bit longer. It takes time for volume to replenish, and longer still for cells to regenerate. It will just be a small amount next time.”
“So you are keeping me here.”
“You were not invited here. Yet still you came, of your own volition. I can hardly be responsible for your trespassing.” The rabbit leans closer to you. “After I’ve fed again, you are free to leave.”
“And then what?”
Another low chuckle emanates from the depths of the suit. “And then after several weeks have passed you return and make another…donation.”
“Why would I ever come back?”
“Because you are bound to this place now. And to me.”
You shiver. “What if I refuse?”
“I do not think you want to pursue that line of thinking.”
The implication is clearly threatening and you acquiesce. “Alright. Once more and then I leave.”
“Agreed,” the suited figure says, retreating into the shadows.
***
The yellow rabbit comes to you, startling you from a shallow sleep.
You recoil at his touch, the metal and fabric heavy upon your hand.
“It’s time,” he says.
You have no idea how long you’ve rested. It could be hours; it feels like minutes. Something about the concept of lying down while the creature feeds makes you feel too vulnerable. You struggle against the lethargy, managing to sit upright on the side of the narrow mattress.
The suited figure kneels down with a grace that defies the bulk of the costume. The glowing eyes regard you for a moment, then you feel your wrist turned, exposing the damaged skin. This time you do not struggle, surrendering fully. The pain is briefer, more muted as you feel teeth puncture, reopening the previous scabs. He does not linger, taking only what is needed. The sound of a latch being lifted follows and you feel gauze from what must be a first aid kit wrapped around your injured wrist.
Then you find yourself guided back through the darkness to the main entrance. You waver in front of the glass doors, the last barrier between you and the outside world, with its daylight and color, breaking the dark spell of the abandoned pizzeria.
You feel the yellow rabbit’s gaze still watching as you push the door open and exit, gasping in relief when you emerge without further mishap.
You’re free, but only for the moment.

I don't know if you write for him but I'll ask anyways, worth giving it a try!
Could you please write a one-shot about Springtrap (when he is still lovcked in the safety room) just out of nowhere spoting a girl (preferably inbetween 13-15) in the corner of the safety room sketching or drawing and then the girl looks at him and he is internally just like 'wait where do I've seen her before' and after a moment she walks closer to him and just boops his nose with a chuckle and then he is 'OH FUCK WHAAAT-?' because the exact thing that happened rn had happened when they first opened the pizzeria and he was dressed as Springbonnie-
And then when he goes to look at the reader again she has just evaporated, like nowhere to be seen and he is left trying to decide if it either was an hallucination of his subconscious of if the girl was a ghost (that he, for once, wasn't the killer of).
🐰 Springtrap x teen fem!Reader platonic Oneshot Ghost or hallucination 🔗
Springtrap remembered every day he spent locked up. It was like maddening torture. The pizzeria had been closed for more than ten years and he had been alone all this time. He couldn't leave this place and it made him angry. He didn't think that anything would happen other than the same thing that happened every day, namely nothing. But suddenly he felt someone's eyes on him. Looking up, he saw you. A girl of about fourteen who was sitting in the same room with him. You sat on the dirty floor and drew with a pencil in an album, sometimes lifting your head to look at it. Springtrap did not take his eyes off you, not believing that he was not alone, but he was more interested in who exactly you are. He kept looking at you and you finally got distracted from your album and put it in your backpack. You easily got to your feet and walked up to him, still smiling. Approaching him, you easily bent down and flicked his nose, laughing. At that moment, everything inside him froze. He understood why you seemed so familiar to him. He saw you at the pizzeria opening. You looked exactly the same that day as you do now. You walked up to him dressed as a Springbonnie and you flicked his nose the same way. But this simply could not be. It's been a long time since that day, you couldn't look exactly the same as then and couldn't be in the same room with him. However, when he looked at you again, you were not there. He was alone in the room again. It's like you disappeared into thin air. He didn't know what exactly it was. Maybe it was your ghost, though he could have sworn he didn't kill you. He remembered everyone he killed before he became Springtrap, and you weren't one of them. Maybe you were just his hallucination. What was left of his mind could mock him, creating illusions of people he had once seen, but why this began to happen only now was unclear. He didn't know what exactly you were, but he hoped he would see you again. Even if you were just a hallucination, it was better than spending all the time alone.
